Abstract
Recently, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted great interest in energy storage areas. However, the poor structural stability of MOFs derived from weak coordination bonds limits their applications. Here, quadruple hydrogen bonds (H-bonds) were introduced onto the MOFs to enhance their structural stability. Cross-linked networks could be formed between molecules owing to multiple H-bonds, strengthening the framework stability. Moreover, the dynamic reversibility of H-bonds could endow MOFs with self-healing ability. Furthermore, due to lower binding energy compared to coordination bonds, H-bonds break preferentially when subjected to internal stress, thus protecting the MOFs. Consequently, the as-prepared self-healing hybrid (SHH-Cu-MOF@Ti3C2TX) exhibited high capacitance retention (89.4%) after 5000 cycles at 1 A g-1, while that hybrid without dynamic H-bonds (H-Cu-MOF@Ti3C2TX) presented a 79.9% retention, delivering an enhancement in cycling stability. Moreover, an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) was fabricated by employing SHH-Cu-MOF@Ti3C2TX and activated carbon (AC) as the electrodes. The ASC delivered a specific capacitance (47.4 F g-1 at 1 A g-1), an energy density (16.9 Wh kg-1), and a power density (800 W kg-1) as well as good rate ability (retains 81% of its initial capacitance from 0.2 A g-1 to 5 A g-1).

Abstract
Currently, conversion-type transition metal sulfides have been extensively favored as the anodes for sodium-ion batteries due to their excellent redox reversibility and high theoretical capacity; however, they generally suffer from large volume expansion and structural instability during repeatedly Na+ de/intercalation. Herein, spatially dual-confined Ni-doped CoS2@NC@C microrods (Ni-CoS2@NC@C) are developed via structural design, heteroatom doping and carbon confinement to boost sodium storage performance of the material. The morphology of one-dimensional-structured microrods effectively enlarges the electrode/electrolyte contact area, while the confinement of dual-carbon layers greatly alleviates the volume change-induced stress, pulverization, agglomeration of the material during charging and discharging. Moreover, the introduction of Ni improves the electrical conductivity of the material by modulating the electronic structure and enlarges the interlayer distance to accelerate Na+ diffusion. Accordingly, the as-prepared Ni-CoS2@NC@C exhibits superb electrochemical properties, delivering the satisfactory cycling performance of 526.6 mA h g-1 after 250 cycles at 1 A g-1, excellent rate performance of 410.9 mA h g-1 at 5 A g-1 and superior long cycling life of 502.5 mA h g-1 after 1,500 cycles at 5 A g-1. This study provides an innovative idea to improve sodium storage performance of conversion-type transition metal sulfides through the comprehensive strategy of structural design, heteroatom doping and carbon confinement.

Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted considerable attention in the field of energy storage and conversion due to their large specific surface area, regulatable pore structure and composition. However, the poor electrical conductivity and few active sites of MOFs impede their application. Herein, highly conductive MXene nanosheets are introduced to modulate the electronic conductivity and structure of rod-like Co-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (Co-PDC), and thus enhancing the electrochemical performance of MOFs. The heterostructural Co-PDC/MXene (CPM) was facily synthesized at room temperature. The as-prepared CPM-30 with 30 % MXene only requires the overpotential of 75.1 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm-2 for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), and the assembled electrolytic cell with CPM-30 and RuO2 as cathode and anode electrodes can achieve a current density of 10 mA cm-2 at a voltage of 1.65 V. In addition, CPM-10 exhibits a high specific capacitance of 583.1 F g-1 at 0.5 A g-1 and an excellent rate performance of 41.6 % at 50 A g-1. Furthermore, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor CPM-10//AC exhibited an energy density of 15.55 Wh kg-1 at a power density of 750 W kg-1 and excellent stability with a capacitance retention rate of 95 % after 10,000 cycles. The excellent electrochemical properties of Co-PDC/MXene are attributed to the unique structure and synergistic effect of Co-PDC and MXene.

Abstract
To accurately detect tumor marker carbohydrate antigen 72-4 (CA72-4) of serum samples is of great significance for the early diagnosis of malignant tumors. In the present study, MnO2/hollow nanobox metal-organic framework (HNM)-AuPtPd nanocomposites were prepared via multi-step synthesis and superposition method and a series of characterizations were carried out. A highly sensitive immunosensor Ab/MnO2/HNM-AuPtPd/GCE based on the composite nanomaterial was further prepared and used to detect the tumor marker CA72-4. The constructed immunosensor achieved signal amplification by increasing the electrocatalytic activity to H2O2 by means of the synergistic effect of MnO2 ultra-thin nanosheets (MnO2 UNs) and HNM-AuPtPd. At the same time, the electrochemical properties of the immunosensor were analyzed using cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance, amperometry (with the test voltage of -0.4 V), and differential pulse voltammetry. The experimental results showed that the MnO2/HNM-AuPtPd nanocomposites were successfully prepared, and the immunosensor Ab/MnO2/HNM-AuPtPd/GCE demonstrated an excellent electrochemical performance. The electrochemical immunosensor had the highest detection sensitivity under the optimal experimental conditions, such as incubation pH of 7.0, incubation time of 60 min, with the addition of 15 μL of H2O2, and in the concentration range 0.001-500 U/mL. It had a low detection limit of 1.78×10-5 U/mL (S/N = 3). Moreover, the serum sample recovery were in the range from 99.38 to 100.52%. This study provides a new method and experimental basis for the detection of tumor markers in clinical practice.

Abstract
Controlling the ratio of metals in bimetallic organic frameworks (MOFs) can not only alter the structures but also tailor the properties of MOFs. Herein, we report a series of electrocatalytically active CoxNiy-based bimetallic MOFs that are synthesized with the 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (3,5-H2pdc) ligand (where x : y = 20 : 1, 15 : 1, 10 : 1, 5 : 1, 1 : 1, and 1 : 20) and a facile, scalable, low temperature synthetic route. The materials have one-dimensional (1D), rod-like microstructures with different aspect ratios. While they all electrocatalyze the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in alkaline solution (1 M KOH), their electrocatalytic performances vary substantially depending on their compositions. The CoxNiy-MOF with an optimal ratio of x : y = 15 : 1 (Co15Ni1-MOF) electrocatalyzes the OER with the highest maximum current density (92.2 mA cm-2 at 1.75 V vs. RHE) and the smallest overpotential (384 mV vs. RHE at 10 mA cm-2) in a 1 M KOH solution. It is also stable under constant current application during the electrocatalytic OER. This work demonstrates the application of bimetallic MOFs that are synthesized following a simple, low temperature synthetic route for the OER and their tailorable electrocatalytic properties for the OER by varying the ratio of two metals and the synthetic conditions used to produce them.

Abstract
Vinylsilanes are valuable building blocks and important structural units in organic chemistry. Herein, catalytic alkyne hydrosilylation was reported to be promoted by a porphyrin metal-organic framework with the incorporation of Pd nanoparticles (Pd@Ir-PCN-222). Catalytic results showed that Pd@Ir-PCN-222 displayed high catalytic efficiency, giving rise to the E isomer vinylsilane with an excellent turnover frequency (TOF) of 2564 h-1. The mechanism studies revealed that the enhancement of the catalytic activity originated from the cooperation between iridium porphyrin and the Pd nanoparticle in confined spaces. The iridium porphyrin was prone to absorb and condense the hydrosilane and alkyne in the inner cavities of Ir-PCN-222, not only accelerating the reaction but also promoting the Pd nanoparticle to activate the Si-H and C≡C bonds of hydrosilane and alkyne, respectively.

Abstract
As the demand for fuel continues to increase, the development of energy devices with excellent performance is crucial. Supercapacitors (SCs) are attracting attention for their advantages of high specific energy and a long cycle life. At present, the development of high-performance electrode materials is the main point for research and development of SCs. Transition metal sulfides have the advantages of a large interlayer space and high theoretical capacity, making them promising electrode materials. Herein, we reported a series of ultrathin mesoporous iron family element (Fe, Co, Ni) molybdenum disulfide (MxMo1-xS2/C, M = Fe, Co, and Ni) by a template method. The original monolayer mesoporous structure of MoS2/C was maintained, and accumulation and agglomeration of MoS2/C were avoided. Based on our investigations, the best performance was that of CoxMo1-xS2/C nanohybrids. Furthermore, the concentrations of Co and Mo ions were modulated to obtain the best performance, in which Mo and Co ions were released at 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 ratios and they were named CoxMo1-xS2/C-1, CoxMo1-xS2/C-2, and CoxMo1-xS2/C-3, respectively. Overall, these materials represent a significant improvement and show promise as high-performance SC electrode materials due to their enhanced capacitance and stability. At a current density of 0.5 A g-1, CoxMo1-xS2/C-2 has the optimal specific capacitance of 184 F g-1. CoxMo1-xS2/C-2 as an SC electrode exhibited better reversible capacity and cycling stability than MoS2/C, which is an improvement over MoS2/C regarding reversible capacity and cycling stability.

Abstract
The present research work facilitates a ligand-mediated effective strategy to achieve different morphological surface structures of bimetallic (Ni and Co) metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) by utilizing different types of organic ligands like terephthalic acid (BDC), 2-methylimidazole (2-Melm), and trimesic acid (BTC). Different morphological structures, rectangular-like nanosheets, petal-like nanosheets, and nanosheet-assembled flower-like spheres (NSFS) of NiCo MOFs, are confirmed from the structural characterization for ligands BDC, 2-Melm, and BTC, respectively. The basic characterization studies like scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller revealed that the NiCo MOF prepared by using trimesic acid as the ligand (NiCo MOF_BTC) with a long organic linker exhibits a three-dimensional architecture of NSFS that possesses higher surface area and pore dimensions, which enables better ion kinetics. Also, the NiCo MOF_BTC delivered the highest capacity of 1471.4 C g-1 (and 408 mA h g-1) at 1 A g-1 current density, compared to the other prepared NiCo MOFs and already reported different NiCo MOF structures. High interaction of trimesic acid with the metal ions confirmed from ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy leads to a NSFS structure of NiCo MOF_BTC. For practical application, an asymmetric supercapacitor device (NiCo MOF_BTC//AC) is fabricated by taking NiCo MOF_BTC and activated carbon as the positive and negative electrode, respectively, where the PVA + KOH gel electrolyte serves as a separator as well as an electrolyte. The device delivered an outstanding energy density of 78.1 Wh kg-1 at a power density of 750 W kg-1 in an operating potential window of 1.5 V. In addition, it displays a long cycle life of 5000 cycles with only 12% decay of the initial specific capacitance. Therefore, these findings manifest the morphology control of MOFs by using different ligands and the mechanism behind the different morphologies that will provide an effective way to synthesize differently structured MOF materials for future energy-storage applications.

Abstract
A series of Ni-MOF materials were synthesized via a simple hydrothermal method and can be employed as electrodes for supercapacitors (SCs). Different temperatures were selected to unveil the effect of temperature on the formation, structure, and electrochemical performance of Ni-MOF-x (x = 60, 80, 100, and 120). Ni-MOF-80 possessed a larger specific surface area with a cross-network structure formed on its surface. The synthesized Ni-MOF electrode delivered a specific capacity of 30.89 mA h g-1 when the current density reached 1 A g-1 in a three-electrode system. The as-fabricated Ni-MOF materials could be further designed and are expected to deliver satisfactory performance in practice.

Abstract
The rational exploration of hybrid materials with well-defined compositions and structures/morphologies is essential for achieving high-performance electrodes for supercapacitors. Here, in situ dispersion and anchoring of NiCoP nanoparticles (NPs) on a bimetal-organic framework (Co1Ni2-MOF) by a controllable partial phosphorization approach are reported. The phosphating temperature and time significantly affect the specific capacitance of NiCoP/Co1Ni2-MOF-X-Y (where X and Y represent the phosphating temperature and time, respectively). Co1Ni2-MOF provides anchoring sites for confining NiCoP NPs, effectively improving the stability of NiCoP NPs. Highly dispersed NiCoP NPs facilitate OH- adsorption, boosting the redox reaction kinetics. NiCoP/Co1Ni2-MOF-350-2 with optimized phosphating conditions exhibits a high specific capacitance of 525 F g-1 at 0.5 A g-1, which is superior to that of the precursor of Co1Ni2-MOF. Moreover, a hybrid supercapacitor constructed with NiCoP/Co1Ni2-MOF-350-2 and activated carbon shows a high specific capacitance and outstanding long-term stability.

Abstract
Limited by single metal active sites and low electrical conductivity, designing nickel-based metal-organic framework (MOF) materials with high capacity and high energy density remains a challenge. Herein, a series of bi/multimetallic MOF-74 family materials in situ grown on carbon cloth (CC) by doping Mx+ ions in Ni-MOF-74 is fabricated: NiM-MOF@CC (M = Mn2+ , Co2+ , Cu2+ , Zn2+ , Al3+ , Fe3+ ), and NiCoM-MOF@CC (M = Mn2+ , Zn2+ , Al3+ , Fe3+ ). The type and ratio of doping metal ions can be adjusted while the original topology is preserved. Different metal ions are confirmed by X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS). Furthermore, these Ni-based MOF electrodes are directly utilized as cathodes for aqueous nickel-zinc batteries (NZBs). Among all the as-prepared electrodes, NiCo-MOF@CC-3 (NCM@CC-3), with an optimized Co/Ni ratio of 1:1, exhibits the best electrical conductivity, which is according to the density functional theory (DFT) theoretical calculations. The NCM@CC-3//Zn@CC battery achieves a high specific capacity of 1.77 mAh cm-2 , a high areal energy density of 2.97 mWh cm-2 , and high cycling stability of 83% capacity retention rate after 6000 cycles. The synthetic strategy based on the coordination effect of metal ions and the concept of binder-free electrodes provide a new direction for the synthesis of high-performance materials in the energy-storage field.

Abstract
The successful discovery of novel multifunctional metal phosphonate framework materials that incorporate newer organoamines and their utilization as a potential electroactive material for energy storage applications (supercapacitors) and as efficient heterogeneous catalysts are the most enduring challenges at present. From this perspective, herein, four new inorganic-organic hybrid zinc organodiphosphonate materials, namely, [C5H14N2]2[Zn6(hedp)4] (I), [C5H14N2]0.5[Zn3(Hhedp) (hedp)]·2H2O (II), [C6H16N2][Zn3(hedp)2] (III), and [C10H24N4][Zn6(Hhedp)2(hedp)2] (IV) (H4hedp = 1-hydroxyethane 1,1-diphosphonic acid), have been synthesized through the introduction of different organoamines and then structurally analyzed using various techniques. The compounds (I-IV) possess a three-dimensional network through alternate connectivity of zinc ions and diphosphonate ligands, as confirmed using single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The investigations of electrochemical charge storage behaviors of the present compounds indicate that compound III exhibits a high specific capacitance of 190 F g-1 (76 C g-1) at 1 A g-1, while compound II shows an excellent cycling stability of 90.11% even after 5000 cycles at 5 A g-1 in the 6 M KOH solution. Further, the present materials have also been utilized as active heterogeneous Lewis acid catalysts in the ketalization reaction. The screening of various substrate scopes during the catalytic process confirms the size-selective heterogeneous catalytic nature of the framework compounds. To our utmost knowledge, such a size-selective heterogeneous Lewis acid catalytic behavior has been observed for the first time in the amine templated inorganic-organic hybrid framework family. Moreover, the excellent size-selective catalytic efficiencies with the d10 metal system and recyclability performances make the compounds (I-IV) more efficient and promising Lewis acid heterogeneous catalysts.

Abstract
The amino-functionalized bimetal NH2-NiCo-MOF nanosheet array is first fabricated on Ni foam substrates and then controllably transformed into oxygen vacancy bimetal oxide arrays by simply thermal annealing in air. This NiCo-based oxide array (NixCo3-xO4/NF) achieves high capacitance (2484 F g-1 at 1 A g-1), excellent rate performance (91.4%), and long cycling life when assessed as promising electrode material for supercapacitors. Notably, the existing oxygen vacancy in NixCo3-xO4 promotes the electrochemical performance of NixCo3-xO4/NF due to the enhancement of electrical conductivity and capture capability for OH-. In addition, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) device exhibits an excellent energy density of 39.3 W h kg-1 at a power density of 800.2 W kg-1, which still remains 32.2 W h kg-1 even at a high power density of 7994.5 W kg-1. Furthermore, a light-emitting diode can be lightened for more than 6 min, demonstrating a great potential for practical application of ASC devices. This work knocks on the door of a feasible strategy for designing and synthesizing 2D metal oxide nanosheet arrays with excellent electrochemical properties.
