Abstract
Two multi-Rh-incorporated polyoxometalates [NH2(CH3)2]10[Na4(H2O)8]H3[As4W42O142(OH)4(CH3COO)2Rh3(H2O)4]·13H2O·4[NH(CH3)2] (1) and [K4Na(H2O)6]KH10[As4W40O140Rh4(H2O)4]·34H2O (2) have been synthesized in acetate buffer solution. Polyanion 1a is built up atop of an acetate-modified rectangular framework [As4W42O142(OH)4(CH3COO)2]26-, while polyanion 2a contains a pure inorganic cryptand [As4W40O140]28-. All Rh atoms of these two compounds share the same hexa-coordinate distorted-octahedral geometry and are embedded into their cavities through As-Rh bonding with a bond length around 2.304(4)-2.436(5) Å. Besides, they not only represent structural novelty but also demonstrate controllable proton conduction properties. Catalysts 1 and 2 can catalyze cycloaddition of epoxides with CO2 in a solvent-free system in conjunction with 1-ethyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bromide.

Abstract
Enhanced conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) for cycloaddition with epoxide derivatives is highly desired in organic synthesis and green chemistry, yet it is still a challenge to obtain satisfactory activity under mild reaction conditions of temperature and pressure. For this purpose, an unexploited strategy is proposed here by incorporating near-infrared (NIR) photothermal properties into multicomponent catalysts. Through the electrostatic adsorption of Co- or Ce-substituted polyoxometalate (POM) clusters on the surface of graphene oxide (GO) with covalently grafted polyethyleneimine (PEI), a series of composite catalysts POMs@GO-PEI are prepared. The structural and property characterizations demonstrate the synergistic advantages of the catalysts bearing Lewis acids and bases and local NIR photothermal heating from the GO matrix for dramatically enhanced CO2 cycloaddition. Noticeably, while the turnover frequency increases up to 2718 h-1, the heterogeneous catalysts exhibit photothermal stability and recyclability. With this method, the onsite NIR photothermal transformation becomes extendable to more green reaction processes.

Abstract
Developing new catalysts for highly efficient and selective oxidation of saturated C-H bonds is significant due to their thermodynamic strength. Via incorporation of PW12O403-, pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acids (pydc), and Fe(III) ions into one framework, a new polyoxometalate-based metal-organic framework, [HFe4O2(H2O)4(pydc)3PW12O40]·10.5H2O (FeW-PYDC), was successfully prepared by a hydrothermal method. Interestingly, FeW-PYDC features a three-dimensional porous structure with {Fe4O2} interconnecting with PW12O403- units. FeW-PYDC displayed excellent performance in the selective oxidation of C-H bonds of alkylbenzenes with high conversion (95.7%) and selectivity (96.6%). As an effective heterogeneous catalyst, FeW-PYDC demonstrates good reusability and structural stability.

Abstract
Four new tris-Anderson polyoxometalates (POMs), (NH4)4[ZnMo6O18(C4H8NO3)(OH)3]·4H2O (1), (NH4)4[CuMo6O18(C4H8NO3)(OH)3]·4H2O (2), (TBA)3(NH4)[ZnMo6O17(C5H9O3)2(OH)]·10H2O (3) (TBA = n-C16H36N), and (NH4)4[CuMo6O18(C5H9O3)2]·16H2O (4), were synthesized by a microwave-assisted method. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that 1 and 2 contained a tris (trihydroxyl organic compounds) ligand grafted on one side, while two tris ligands were grafted on two sides to form χ/δ and δ/δ isomers in 3 and 4, respectively. 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the χ/δ isomer 3 were obtained for the first time, with six methylenes showing six peaks in the 1H NMR spectrum and only four peaks in the 13C NMR spectrum. Mass spectrometry monitoring revealed that during the microwave-assistant process the tris ligand can graft onto POMs to form 1, while tris directly coordinates with metallic heteroatoms to form isopolymolybdates during the conventional reflux synthesis process. In addition, 1-4 can catalyze CO2 with epoxides into cyclic carbonates with high selectivity and yields at an atmospheric pressure of CO2, which is lower than the pressure of CO2 in other catalysis using POMs as catalysts. Furthermore, 1-4 showed good catalytic stability and cycling properties. Mechanism studies substantiated POMs cocatalyzed with Br- to improve the catalytic yields.

Abstract
White light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) are of scientific significance in terms of their wide applications, and few uminescent materials based on white-light-emitting polyoxometalate (POM) derivatives have been reported till now. Herein, a series of organic chromophores modified POM derivatives [N(CH3)4]3K2Ln(C7H5O2)(H2O)2(α-PW11O39)]·11H2O (Ln3+ = Eu3+ (1), Tb3+ (2), Tm3+ (3), Lu3+ (4)) and multicenter-Ln analogues [N(CH3)4]3K2EuxTbyTm1-x-y(C7H5O2)(H2O)2(α-PW11O39)·11H2O (5-11) were synthesized successfully and were characterized by various physico-chemical analysis. The investigations indicate the white-light-emitting behavior can be well tuned by adjusting the molar ratio of Eu3+/Tb3+/Tm3+ = 0.06:0.10:0.84 in 9. The energy transfer process from organic benzoic and POM ligands to Eu3+, Tb3+ and Tm3+ emitting centers were detected through time-resolved emission spectroscopy (TRES) and the comparison of excitation of single-, double-, treble-Ln3+ mixed, indicating the energy can transfer from the photoexcitation O → M LMCT state of POM components and π → π* transition of organic ligand to sensitize the emissions of Ln3+ ions via intramolecular energy transition mechanism. The energy transfer between Eu3+ and Tb3+, Tm3+ and Eu3+, Tm3+ and Tb3+ ions also have been recorded and carefully studied by TRES and variations of Tm3+ luminescence lifetime in this context, and the results show a low-effectively process of energy transfer between Tm3+/Eu3+, Tm3+/Tb3+ ions and a relatively good energy transfer efficiency between Eu3+/Tb3+ ions.
