Prenylated Indole Diterpene Alkaloids from a Mine-Soil-Derived Tolypocladium sp

New insights into the chemistry and anticancer activity of Ophiocordyceps xuefengensis

Ophiocordyceps xuefengensis (O. xuefengensis), the sister taxon of Ophiocordyceps sinensis (O. sinensis), is consumed as a "tonic food" due to its health benefits. However, little is known regarding the chemistry and bioactivity of O. xuefengensis. In this study, we characterized 80 indole-based alkaloids in the ethyl acetate fraction of O. xuefengensis by high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry (HPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS), of which 54 indole-based alkaloids were identified as possibly new compounds. Furthermore, 29 of these compounds were established as potential anti-cancer compounds by ligand fishing combined with HPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS. Moreover, molecular docking identified the NH- and OH- groups of these compounds as the key active groups. The present study has expanded the knowledge on the characteristic indole-based alkaloids and anti-cancer activity of O. xuefengensis.

Cytotoxic indole diterpenoids and rare pyridoxatin atropisomers from the endophytic fungus Tolypocladium sp. SHJJ1

Phytochemical investigation on the extract of endophytic fungus Tolypocladium sp. SHJJ1 resulted in the identification of a pair of previously undescribed pyridoxatin atropisomers [1 (M/P)] and three new indole diterpenoids (3-5), together with a pair of known pyridoxatin atropisomers [2 (M/P)] and ten known indole diterpenoids (6-15). Their structures, including their absolute configurations were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis, quantum chemical calculations, and X-ray diffraction. Among the undescribed natural products, [1 (M/P)] that two rapidly interconverting atropisomers are the third example to report in the pyridoxatin atropisomers. Except for compounds 1 (M/P) and 2 (M/P), all other compounds were tested for their cytotoxicity using HepG2, A549, and MCF-7 human cell lines. Compound 9 displayed moderate cytotoxicity against the HepG2, A549, and MCF-7 cell lines with IC50 values of 32.39 ± 1.48 μM, 26.06 ± 1.14 μM, and 31.44 ± 1.94 μM, respectively, which was similar to the positive drug cisplatin (with IC50 values of 32.55 ± 1.76 μM, 18.40 ± 1.43 μM, and 27.31 ± 1.22 μM, respectively).

A review of natural products and small-molecule therapeutics acting on central nervous system malignancies: Approaches for drug development, targeting pathways, clinical trials, and challenges

In 2021, the World Health Organization released the fifth edition of the central nervous system (CNS) tumor classification. This classification uses histopathology and molecular pathogenesis to group tumors into more biologically and molecularly defined entities. The prognosis of brain cancer, particularly malignant tumors, has remained poor worldwide, approximately 308,102 new cases of brain and other CNS tumors were diagnosed in the year 2020, with an estimated 251,329 deaths. The cost and time-consuming nature of studies to find new anticancer agents makes it necessary to have well-designed studies. In the present study, the pathways that can be targeted for drug development are discussed in detail. Some of the important cellular origins, signaling, and pathways involved in the efficacy of bioactive molecules against CNS tumorigenesis or progression, as well as prognosis and common approaches for treatment of different types of brain tumors, are reviewed. Moreover, different study tools, including cell lines, in vitro, in vivo, and clinical trial challenges, are discussed. In addition, in this article, natural products as one of the most important sources for finding new chemotherapeutics were reviewed and over 700 reported molecules with efficacy against CNS cancer cells are gathered and classified according to their structure. Based on the clinical trials that have been registered, very few of these natural or semi-synthetic derivatives have been studied in humans. The review can help researchers understand the involved mechanisms and design new goal-oriented studies for drug development against CNS malignancies.

Biochemical characterization of a multiple prenyltransferase from Tolypocladium inflatum

Prenylation plays a pivotal role in the diversification and biological activities of natural products. This study presents the functional characterization of TolF, a multiple prenyltransferase from Tolypocladium inflatum. The heterologous expression of tolF in Aspergillus oryzae, coupled with feeding the transformed strain with paxilline, resulted in the production of 20- and 22-prenylpaxilline. Additionally, TolF demonstrated the ability to prenylated the reduced form of paxilline, β-paxitriol. A related prenyltransferase TerF from Chaunopycnis alba, exhibited similar substrate tolerance and regioselectivity. In vitro enzyme assays using purified recombinant enzymes TolF and TerF confirmed their capacity to catalyze prenylation of paxilline, β-paxitriol, and terpendole I. Based on previous reports, terpendole I should be considered a native substrate. This work not only enhances our understanding of the molecular basis and product diversity of prenylation reactions in indole diterpene biosynthesis, but also provides insights into the potential of fungal indole diterpene prenyltransferase to alter their position specificities for prenylation. This could be applicable for the synthesis of industrially useful compounds, including bioactive compounds, thereby opening up new avenues for the development of novel biosynthetic strategies and pharmaceuticals. Anti-necroptosis and anti-ferroptosis compounds from the Deep-Sea-Derived fungus Aspergillus sp. MCCC 3A00392

Eight undescribed (1-8) and 46 known compounds (9-54) were isolated from the deep-sea-derived Aspergillus sp. MCCC 3A00392. Compounds 1-3 were three novel oxoindolo diterpenoids, 4-6 were three bisabolane sesquiterpenoids, while 7 and 8 were two monocyclic cyclopropanes. Their structures were established by exhaustive analyses of the HRESIMS, NMR, and theoretical calculations of the NMR data and ECD spectra. Compounds 10, 33, 38, and 39 were able to inhibit tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-induced necroptosis in murine L929 cell lines. Functional experiments verified that compounds 10 and 39 inhibited necroptosis by downregulating the phosphorylation of RIPK3 and MLKL. Moreover, compound 39 also reduced the phosphorylation of RIPK1. Compounds 10, 33, and 34 displayed potent inhibitory activities against RSL-3 induced ferroptosis with the EC50 value of 3.0 μM, 0.4 μM, and 0.1 μM, respectively. Compound 10 inhibited ferroptosis by the downregulation of HMOX1, while compounds 33 and 34 inhibited ferroptosis through regulation of NRF2/SLC7A11/GCLM axis. However, these compounds only showed weak effect in either the necroptosis or ferroptosis relative mouse disease models. Further studies of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics might improve their in vivo bioactivities.

Cytotoxic Indole Diterpenoids from a Sphagneticola trilobata-Derived Fungus Aspergillus sp. PQJ-1

Two new indole diterpene derivatives, 5S-hydroxy-β-aflatrem (1) and 14R-hydroxy-β-aflatrem (2), along with one known analogue, 14-(N,N-dimethl-L-valyloxy)paspalinine (3), were isolated from the fermentation broth of the fungus Aspergillus sp. PQJ-1 derived from Sphagneticola trilobata. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated from spectroscopic data and ECD spectroscopic analyses. All the compounds (1-3) were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against A549, Hela, Hep G2, and MCF-7 cell lines. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited selective inhibition against Hela cells. Further studies showed that 1 significantly induced apoptosis and suppressed migration and invasion in Hela cells. Moreover, 1 could up-regulate pro-apoptotic genes BAX and Caspase-3 and down-regulate anti-apoptotic genes Bcl-xL and XIXP.

Liver-cell protective pyridones from the fungi Tolypocladium album dws120

Five previously undescribed pyridone derivatives, tolypyridones I-M, were identified from the solid rice medium fermented by Tolypocladium album dws120, along with two known compounds tolypyridone A (or trichodin A) and pyridoxatin. Their planar structures and partial relative configurations have been determined by careful interpretation of their spectroscopic data. The full assignment of the relative and absolute configurations of tolypyridones I-M was achieved by gauge-independent atomic orbital ¹³C NMR calculation, quantitative nuclear Overhauser effects based interatomic distance calculation, and electronic circular dichroism calculation. In addition, we have fully determined the configuration of tolypyridone A by X-ray diffraction analysis. In bioassay, tolypyridones I was able to restore cell viability and inhibit the release of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase for ethanol-induced LO2 cell, suggesting its potential as a liver protective agent.

Two new antimicrobial monoterpenoid indole alkaloids from the roots of Rauvolfia yunnanensis

Two new monoterpenoid indole alkaloids 3-hydroxylochnerine (1) and 10-hydroxyvinorine (2) were isolated from the roots of Rauvolfia yunnanensis. Their structures were elucidated based on the analysis of spectroscopic data and ECD calculation. Both compounds exhibited potent antimicrobial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli, and their activities were comparable to the well-known antibacterial drug berberine.

The chemical structures and biological activities of indole diterpenoids

Indole diterpenoids (IDTs) are an essential class of structurally diverse fungal secondary metabolites, that generally appear to be restricted to a limited number of fungi, such as Penicillium, Aspergillus, Claviceps, and Epichloe species, etc. These compounds share a typical core structure consisting of a cyclic diterpene skeleton of geranylgeranyl diphosphate (GGPP) and an indole ring moiety derived from indole-3-glycerol phosphate (IGP). 3-geranylgeranylindole (3-GGI) is the common precursor of all IDTs. On this basis, it is modified by cyclization, oxidation, and prenylation to generate a large class of compounds with complex structures. These compounds exhibit antibacterial, anti-insect, and ion channel inhibitory activities. We summarized 204 compounds of IDTs discovered from various fungi over the past 50 years, these compounds were reclassified, and their biological activities were summarized. This review will help to understand the structural diversity of IDTs and provide help for their physiological activities.

Indole-Containing Natural Products 2019-2022: Isolations, Reappraisals, Syntheses, and Biological Activities

Indole alkaloids represent a large subset of natural products, with more than 4100 known compounds. The majority of these alkaloids are biologically active, with some exhibiting excellent antitumor, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and antiplasmodial activities. Consequently, the natural products of this class have attracted considerable attention as potential leads for novel therapeutics and are routinely isolated, characterized, and profiled to gauge their biological potential. However, data on indole alkaloids, their various structures, and bioactivities are complex due to their diverse sources, such as plants, fungi, bacteria, sponges, tunicates, and bryozoans; thus, isolation methods produce an incredible trove of information. The situation is exacerbated when synthetic derivatives, as well as their structures, bioactivities, and synthetic schemes, are considered. Thus, to make such data comprehensive and inform researchers about the current field's state, this review summarizes recent reports on novel indole alkaloids. It deals with the isolation and characterization of 250 novel indole alkaloids, a reappraisal of previously reported compounds, and total syntheses of indole alkaloids. In addition, several syntheses and semi-syntheses of indole-containing derivatives and their bioactivities are reported between January 2019 and July 2022.

The Biosynthesis Related Enzyme, Structure Diversity and Bioactivity Abundance of Indole-Diterpenes: A Review

Indole diterpenes are a large class of secondary metabolites produced by fungi, possessing a cyclic diterpenoid backbone and an indole moiety. Novel structures and important biological activity have made indole diterpenes one of the focuses of synthetic chemists. Although the discovery, identification, structural diversity, biological activity and especially structure–activity relationship of indole diterpenes have been reported in some papers in recent years, they are absent of a systematic and comprehensive analysis, and there is no elucidation of enzymes related to this kind of natural product. Therefore, it is necessary to summarize the relevant reports to provide new perspectives for the following research. In this review, for the first time, the function of related synthases and the structure–activity relationship of indole diterpenes are expounded, and the recent research advances of them are emphasized.

The Novel Compounds with Biological Activity Derived from Soil Fungi in the Past Decade

The secondary metabolites isolated from soil fungi have received more and more attention, especially new compounds that exhibited good biological activities. In this review, a total of 546 new compounds are included in the relevant literature since 2011. The new compounds are isolated from soil fungi, We divided these compounds into seven categories, including alkaloids, terpenoids, steroids, ketones, phenylpropanoids, quinones, esters, lactones, etc. In addition, the biological activities and structure-activity relationships of these compounds have also been fully discussed. The activities of these compounds are roughly divided into eight categories, including anticancer activity, antimicrobial activity, anti-inflammatory activity, antioxidant activity, antiviral activity, antimalarial activity, immunosuppressive activity and other activities. Since natural products are an important source of new drugs, this review may have a positive guiding effect on drug screening.

Anti-Diabetic Indole-Terpenoids From Penicillium sp. HFF16 Isolated From the Rhizosphere Soil of Cynanchum bungei Decne

Finding novel anti-diabetic compounds with effective suppression activities against hepatic glucagon response is urgently required for the development of new drugs against diabetes. Fungi are well known for their ability to produce new bioactive secondary metabolites. As part of our ongoing research, five new indole-terpenoids (1–5), named encindolenes D-H, were isolated from the fungus Penicillium sp. HFF16 from the rhizosphere soil of Cynanchum bungei Decne. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic data and ECD analysis. In the anti-diabetic activity assay, compounds 1–5 could inhibit the hepatic glucose production with EC50 values of 17.6, 30.1, 21.3, 9.6, and 9.9 μM, respectively, and decrease the cAMP contents in glucagon-induced HepG2 cells.

Neolignans and Sesquiterpenoid from Piper yunnanense

Two biphenyl-type neolignans with a rare dibenzofuran skeleton, including a new one piyunneolignan A (1) and a known one piperneolignan D (2), together with a new sesquiterpenoid piyunin A (3), were isolated from the leaves and twigs of Piper yunnanense. Their structures were established on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic data analysis and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculation. Piyunneolignan A (1) featured a rare C-2-C-2'/C-3-O-C-3' linkage. Compounds 1-3 were evaluated for their antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities against a panel of bacteria, fungi, and human cancer cell lines, respectively.

The chemistry and biology of fungal meroterpenoids (2009-2019)

Fungal meroterpenoids are secondary metabolites from mixed terpene-biosynthetic origins. Their intriguing chemical structural diversification and complexity, potential bioactivities, and pharmacological significance make them attractive targets in natural product chemistry, organic synthesis, and biosynthesis. This review provides a systematic overview of the isolation, chemical structural features, biological activities, and fungal biodiversity of 1585 novel meroterpenoids from 79 genera terrestrial and marine-derived fungi including macrofungi, Basidiomycetes, in 441 research papers in 2009-2019. Based on the nonterpenoid starting moiety in their biosynthesis pathway, meroterpenoids were classified into four categories (polyketide-terpenoid, indole-, shikimate-, and miscellaneous-) with polyketide-terpenoids (mainly tetraketide-) and shikimate-terpenoids as the primary source. Basidiomycota produced 37.5% of meroterpenoids, mostly shikimate-terpenoids. The genera of Ganoderma, Penicillium, Aspergillus, and Stachybotrys are the four dominant producers. Moreover, about 56% of meroterpenoids display various pronounced bioactivities, including cytotoxicity, enzyme inhibition, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antifungal activities. It's exciting that several meroterpenoids including antroquinonol and 4-acetyl antroquinonol B were developed into phase II clinically used drugs. We assume that the chemical diversity and therapeutic potential of these fungal meroterpenoids will provide biologists and medicinal chemists with a large promising sustainable treasure-trove for drug discovery.

Three new indole diterpenoids from Aspergillus aculeatus KKU-CT2

Three new indole diterpenoids, aculeatupenes A-C (1-3), together with four known compounds (4-7), were isolated from the mycelium of Aspergillus aculeatus KKU-CT2. Their structures were established by spectroscopic evidence and absolute configurations of 1-3 were determined by comparison of their experimental and calculated ECD spectra. Compounds 1, 2, and emindole SB (4) showed weak cytotoxicity against HelaS3, KB, HepG2, MCF-7, and A549 cancer cell lines with IC₅₀ values in the range of 11.12-67.81 μM. Compound 3 showed weak cytotoxicity against HelaS3 cell lines with an IC₅₀ value of 17.48 μM but non-cytotoxicity against Vero cell line. In addition, compound 1 exhibited weak antibacterial activity against Bacillus cereus.

Research Progress on Antibacterial Activities and Mechanisms of Natural Alkaloids: A Review

Alkaloids are nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds typically isolated from plants. They represent one of the most important types of natural products because of their large number and structural diversity and complexity. Based on their chemical core structures, alkaloids are classified as isoquinolines, quinolines, indoles, piperidine alkaloids, etc. In-depth analyses of alkaloids have revealed their antibacterial activities. To date, due to the widespread use of antibiotics, the problem of drug-resistant bacterial infections has been gradually increasing, which severely affects the clinical efficacy of antibacterial therapies and patient safety. Therefore, significant research efforts are focused on alkaloids because they represent a potentially new type of natural antibiotic with a wide antibacterial spectrum, rare adverse reactions, and a low tendency to produce drug resistance. Their main antibacterial mechanisms include inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis, change in cell membrane permeability, inhibition of bacterial metabolism, and inhibition of nucleic acid and protein synthesis. This article reviews recent reports about the chemical structures and the antibacterial activities and mechanisms of alkaloids. The purpose is to solve the problem of bacterial resistance and to provide a certain theoretical basis and research ideas for the development of new antibacterial drugs.

Indole-based alkaloids from Ophiocordyceps xuefengensis

Seven undescribed indole-based alkaloids, xuefengins A-D and xuefenglasins A-C, were isolated from natural Ophiocordyceps xuefengensis, along with six known alkaloids. Their structures were elucidated by comprehensive spectroscopy, with absolute configurations confirmed by comparison with calculated electronic circular dichroism spectra. Eleven of the isolates were tested for cytotoxicity against the U937, NB4, MCF-7, Hep G2, and A549 cancer cell lines. Two compounds exhibited moderate activities, with IC₅₀ values of 2.83-25.68 μM and 1.54-12.16 μM. Further pharmacological studies showed that these two compounds inhibit cell proliferation by inducing apoptosis, and decreasing p38 and caspase-3 levels in A549 cells.

Antibiotics from Extremophilic Micromycetes

Extremophilic microorganisms, which are capable of functioning normally at extremely high or low temperatures, pressure, and in other environmental conditions, have been in the focus of microbiologists' attention for several decades due to the biotechnological potential of enzymes inherent in extremophiles. These enzymes (also called extremozymes) are used in the production of food and detergents and other industries. At the same time, the inhabitants of extreme econiches remained almost unexplored for a long time in terms of the chemistry of natural compounds. In recent years, the emergence of new antibiotic-resistant strains of pathogens, which affect humans and animals has become a global problem. The problem is compounded by a strong slowdown in the development of new antibiotics. In search of new active substances and scaffolds for medical chemistry, researchers turn to unexplored natural sources. In recent years, there has been a sharp increase in the number of studies on secondary metabolites produced by extremophiles. From the discovery of penicillin to the present day, micromycetes, along with actinobacteria, are one of the most productive sources of antibiotic compounds for medicine and agriculture. Many authors consider extremophilic micromycetes as a promising source of small molecules with an unusual mechanism of action or significant structural novelty. This review summarizes the latest (for 2018-2019) experimental data on antibiotic compounds, which are produced by extremophilic micromycetes with various types of adaptation. Active metabolites are classified by the type of structure and biosynthetic origin. The data on the biological activity of the isolated metabolites are summarized.

New Terpendole Congeners, Inhibitors of Sterol O-Acyltransferase, Produced by Volutella citrinella BF-0440

New terpendoles N-P (1–3) were isolated along with 8 structurally related known compounds including terpendoles and voluhemins from a culture broth of the fungus Volutella citrinella BF-0440. The structures of 1–3 were elucidated using various spectroscopic experiments including 1D- and 2D-NMR. All compounds 1–3 contained a common indole–diterpene backbone. Compounds 2 and 3 had 7 and 6 consecutive ring systems with an indole ring, respectively, whereas 1 had a unique indolinone plus 4 consecutive ring system. Compounds 2 and 3 inhibited both sterol O-acyltransferase 1 and 2 isozymes, but 1 lost the inhibitory activity. Structure–activity relationships of fungal indole–diterpene compounds are discussed.

Natural indole-containing alkaloids and their antibacterial activities

As the growth in resistance to bacterial infection treatments poses a grave threat to global health in the 21st century, there is a constant need to explore novel antibacterial agents that have the ability to overcome drug resistance. Indole-containing alkaloids are widely distributed in nature, and a variety of indole-containing alkaloids have already been applied in clinical practice, proving that indole-containing alkaloids are fascinating and privileged scaffolds for the development of novel drugs. Moreover, indole-containing alkaloids could exert their antibacterial activity through the inhibition of efflux pumps, the biofilm, filamentous temperature-sensitive protein Z, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus pyruvate kinase; so, indole-containing alkaloids constitute an important source of novel antibacterial agents. This review is an endeavor to highlight the advances in the development of indole-containing alkaloids with antibacterial potential, covering articles published in the recent 10 years.

A Critical Appraisal of Dimolybdenum Tetraacetate Application in Stereochemical Studies of vic-Diols by Circular Dichroism

This critical appraisal is intended for users of the dimolybdenum method, well-established in electronic circular dichroism (ECD) to determine the absolute configuration of vic-diols and, in particular, for experimental researchers not being experts in chiroptical methods. The main goal is to demonstrate how to avoid misleading and ambiguous conclusions resulting from the rigorous application of the helicity rule by limiting the analysis to the vic-diol unit alone. We particularly focused on multichromophoric systems, especially those that may interfere with the absorption of an in situ formed dimolybdenum tetraacetate-diol complex. In this context, examples are presented of vic-diols for which stereochemical assignment based solely on the helicity rule is ambiguous and does not necessarily lead to correct results. The motivation for choosing these examples was to demonstrate the impact of the structure of the substrate on the complexation process with the metal core and its selectivity. For each selected case, results obtained are analyzed in detail together with a discussion of existing restrictions and choice of a support method to increase the credibility of the conclusion. Based on seven both educational and challenging examples, it was shown that the dimolybdenum methodology can also be effectively applied to complex chromophoric systems, provided that other chiroptical methods and/or computational support verify obtained results.

Indole-Diterpenoids with Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Inhibitory Activities from the Marine-Derived Fungus Penicillium sp. KFD28

Five new indole-terpenoids named penerpenes E-I (1-5), along with seven known ones (6-12), were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Penicillium sp. KFD28 from a bivalve mollusk, Meretrix lusoria. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated from spectroscopic data and ECD spectroscopic analyses. Compound 1 was assigned as an indole-diterpenoid with a unique 6/5/5/6/6/5/5 heptacyclic ring system. Compound 2 represents an indole-diterpenoid with a new carbon skeleton derived from paxilline by the loss of three carbons (C-23/24/25). Compound 3 contains an additional oxygen atom between C-21 and C-22 compared to paxilline to form an unusual 6/5/5/6/6/7 hexacyclic ring system bearing a 1,3-dioxepane ring, which is rarely encountered in natural products. Compounds 1, 2, 4, and 6 showed inhibitory activities against protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) with IC₅₀ values of 14, 27, 23, and 13 μM, respectively.

(±)-Meliviticines A and B: Rearranged prenylated acetophenone derivatives from Melicope viticina and their antimicrobial activity

Two new prenylated acetophenone derivatives racemates, meliviticines A (1) and B (2) with unprecedented rearranged skeletons, were isolated from Melicope viticina. Subsequent chiral resolution led to the separation of two pairs of enantiomers, (±)-meliviticines A (1a/1b) and (±)-meliviticines B (2a/2b). Their structures including absolute configurations were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic data, electronic circular dichroism analysis, and X-ray crystallography. A plausible biosynthetic pathway of 1 and 2, involving ring cleavage and rearrangement of the prenylated acetophenone backbone was proposed. All the isolates showed moderate antimicrobial activities with MIC values of 25-50 μg/mL against several bacterial and fungal strains.

Two New Prenylated Indole Diterpenoids from Tolypocladium sp. and Their Antimicrobial Activities

Two new prenylated indole diterpenoids, tolypocladins K and L (1 and 2), together with a known analog terpendole L (3), were isolated from the solid fermentation culture of a mine soil-derived fungus Tolypocladium sp. XL115. Their structures and relative configurations were determined by comprehensive spectroscopic data analysis, as well as by comparison of their NMR data with those related known compounds. Compound 3 exhibited remarkable antibacterial activity against Micrococcus luteus with an MIC value of 6.25 μg/mL, and compounds 1 and 3 displayed moderate antifungal activity selectively against tested strains with MIC values of 25-50 μg/mL.
