Abstract
A binary Ni/Eu catalytic system has been developed, which enables an efficient reductive dicarbofunctionalization of unactivated alkenes with alkyl halides and malononitriles. The combination of Ni electron-shuttle catalysis with Eu(OTf)3, a non-redox-type Lewis acid, effectively activates the iminyl radicals, enabling the direct formation of the C(sp3)-C(sp3) bond and β-ketonitrile functionality across a variety of C═C double bonds. This reaction allows for the expedient synthesis of densely functionalized cyclic β-ketonitriles bearing all-carbon quaternary centers.

Abstract
A general and novel method for the radical cascade cyclization of aryl isocyanides with AIBN has been described. This strategy provides straightforward access to various 2,4-dicyanoalkylated benzoxazines in moderate to good yields under metal- and additive-free conditions. The reaction can apply to a gram scale and tolerate diverse functional groups. 2,4-Dicyanoalkylated benzoxazine derivatives feature a large Stokes shift and intramolecular charge transfer properties.

Abstract
An efficient copper-catalyzed radical hydrazono-phosphorylation of alkenes with hydrazine derivatives and diarylphosphine oxides is described. The reaction provides a general and convenient method toward the synthesis of diverse β-hydrazonophosphine oxides in satisfactory yields. Based on conducted mechanistic experiments, a mechanism involving Ag-catalyzed oxidative generation of phosphinoyl radicals and subsequent addition to alkenes followed by Cu-assisted hydrazonation is proposed. Moreover, the practicability of the reaction is successfully demonstrated by its successful application on a gram scale.

Abstract
An efficient strategy involving electrochemical C═C double-bond cleavage and functionalization of cyclic alkenes for the synthesis of ketonitriles is described. This transformation features environmentally friendly conditions and utilizes relatively safe TMSN3 as the nitrogenation reagent and molecular oxygen as the oxidant. For the open-chain alkenes, the reaction gave 1,2-difunctionalized products. A wide range of cyclic alkenes and open-chain alkenes were found to be compatible, providing the corresponding ketonitriles and α-azido aromatic ketones in moderate to good yields.

Abstract
The electrochemical α-cyanation of tertiary and secondary amines has been developed by using a cheap cyanide reagent, azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN). The CN radical, generated through n-Bu4NBr-meidated electrochemical oxidation, participates in a novel α-cyanation reaction under exogenous oxidant-free conditions.

Abstract
An efficient strategy for facilitating the cross-coupling of two radicals has been established via the coordination of a radical with a metal catalyst. This strategy provides a remarkable ability to harness the reactivity of nitrile-containing azoalkanes and enables a novel cascade reaction with nitrile-containing azoalkanes and propargylic alcohols to be established. By using this reaction, a range of acetylenic and allenic amides were obtained that provides a versatile platform for further derivatizations.

Abstract
The efficient regioselective C-H cyanoalkoxylation and cyanoalkylation of 8-aminoquinoline derivatives at the C5 position have been achieved under O2 and N2 atmospheres, respectively. Using 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as a radical precursor, the protocols afforded the corresponding products in moderate to good yields with broad substrate generality through Cu(OAc)2 or NiSO4 catalysis. Furthermore, the single electron transfer (SET) mechanism was proposed via a radical coupling pathway.

Abstract
The first example of the Pd-catalyzed addition of organoboron reagents to dinitriles, as an efficient means of preparing 2,5-diarylpyrroles and 2,6-diarylpyridines, has been discussed here. Furthermore, the highly selective carbopalladation of dinitriles with organoboron reagents to give long-chain ketonitriles has been developed as well. Based on the broad scope of substrates, excellent functional group tolerance, and use of commercially available substrates, the Pd-catalyzed addition reaction of arylboronic acid and dinitriles is expected to be significant in future synthetic procedures.
