Abstract
Molecules with an allylic amine motif provide access to important building blocks and versatile applications of biologically relevant chemical space. The need for diverse allylic amines requires the development of increasingly general and modular multicomponent reactions for allylic amine synthesis. Herein, we report an efficient catalytic multicomponent coupling reaction of simple alkenes, aldehydes, and amides by combining nickel catalysis and Lewis acid catalysis, thus providing a practical, environmentally friendly, and modular protocol to build architecturally complex and functionally diverse allylic amines in a single step. The method is remarkably simple, shows broad functional-group tolerance, and facilitates the synthesis of drug-like allylic amines that are not readily accessible by other methods. The utilization of accessible starting materials and inexpensive Ni(ii) salt as the alternative precatalyst offers a significant practical advantage. In addition, the practicality of the process was also demonstrated in an efficient, gram-scale preparation of the prostaglandin agonist.

Abstract
Asymmetric catalysis has emerged as a general and powerful approach for constructing chiral compounds in an enantioselective manner. Hence, developing novel chiral ligands and catalysts that can effectively induce asymmetry in reactions is crucial in modern chemical synthesis. Among such chiral ligands and catalysts, chiral dienes and their metal complexes have received increased attention, and a great progress has been made over the past two decades. This review provides comprehensive and critical information on the essential aspects of chiral diene ligands and their importance in asymmetric catalysis. The literature covered ranges from August 2003 (when the first effective chiral diene ligand for asymmetric catalysis was reported) to October 2021. This review is divided into two parts. In the first part, the chiral diene ligands are categorized according to their structures, and their preparation methods are summarized. In the second part, their applications in asymmetric transformations are presented according to the reaction types.

Abstract
Allylamines are versatile building blocks in the synthesis of various naturally occurring products and pharmaceuticals. In contrast to terminal allylamines, the methods of synthesis of their branched congeners with internal, stereodefined double bonds are less explored. This work describes a new approach for the preparation of allylamines via cross-coupling of alkyl bromides with simple 3-bromoallylamines by merging the photoredox approach and Ni catalysis. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions, under blue light irradiation, and in the presence of an organic dye, 4CzIPN, as a photocatalyst. The scope of suitable reaction partners is broad, including alkyl bromides bearing reactive functionalities (e.g., esters, nitriles, aldehydes, ketones, epoxides) and N-protected allylamines, as well as N-allylated secondary and tertiary amines and heterocycles. The employment of non-racemic starting materials allows for rapid and easy construction of complex multifunctional allylamine derivatives without the loss of enantiomeric purity.

Abstract
We describe, for the first time, a highly regioselective hydrosilylation of propargylic amines. The reaction utilizes a PtCl2/XantPhos catalyst system to deliver hydrosilanes across the alkyne to afford multifunctional allylic amines in high yields. The reaction is tolerant to a wide variety of functional groups and provides high value intermediates with two distinct functional handles. The synthetic applicability of the reaction has been shown through the synthesis of diverse ambiphilic aziridines.

Abstract
A unique enantioselective nickel-catalyzed vinylation of 2-azaallyl anions is advanced for the first time. This method affords diverse vinyl aryl methyl amines with high enantioselectivities, which are frequently occurring scaffolds in natural products and medications. This C-H functionalization method can also be extended to the synthesis of enantioenriched 1,3-diamine derivatives by employing suitably elaborated vinyl bromides. Key to the success of this process is the identification of a Ni/chiraphos catalyst system and a less reducing 2-azaallyl anion, all of which favor an anionic vinylation route over a background radical reaction. A telescoped gram scale synthesis and a product derivatization study confirmed the scalability and synthetic potential of this method.

Abstract
By employing a simple open-chain chiral phosphite-olefin ligand, a highly enantioselective rhodium-catalyzed alkenylation of 1,2,5-thiadiazole 1,1-dioxide-type cyclic ketimines with diverse vinylboronic acids was achieved under mild conditions at room temperature. This protocol provides an efficient and practical access to multifunctional α,α-disubstituted chiral allylic amines bearing quaternary stereocenters in high yields (up to 99%) with good to excellent ee's (up to 99%).

Abstract
The unprecedented development of asymmetric Rh-catalyzed 1,2-allylation of N-Ts- and N-Ns-aldimines is achieved. This protocol utilizes potassium allyltrifluoroborates and various aldimines to generate enantioenriched homoallylic amines in the presence of 3.0 mol % of Rh(I)/L1b catalyst with up to 90% yield, 98% ee (R = H), and 10:1 diastereoselectivity (R = Me or Ph), yielding the same major diastereomer when using potassium (E)- and (Z)-crotyltrifluoroborate. Its synthetic utility is also illustrated in the total synthesis of (-)-crispine A.

Abstract
A diastereoselective and stereodivergent rhodium-catalyzed intramolecular coupling of sulfonylcarbamates with terminal allenes is described and it provides selective access to 1,3-aminoalcohol derivatives, scaffolds found in bioactive compounds. The reaction is compatible with a large range of different functional groups, thus furnishing products with high diastereoselectivities and yields. Moreover, multigram scale reactions, as well as the application of suitable product transformations were demonstrated.
