Abstract
An efficient B(C6F5)3-catalyzed multicomponent reaction of 2,3-diketoesters, amines, allenes, and nucleophiles was reported, which afforded 2α-functionalized pyrroles in moderate to good yields. The reaction features low catalyst loading, usage of a small amount of solvent, high atom economy, tunable installation of diverse functional groups at 2α-position, and water being formed as the byproduct. This is the first multicomponent reaction that combines vicinal tricarbonyl compounds with allenes.

Abstract
A convergent strategy is reported for the construction of nitrogen-containing heterocycles from common substrates: 1,4-diketones and primary amines. Indeed, by just varying the substrates, the substituents, or the heating mode, it is possible to selectively synthesize indole, indolone (1,5,6,7-tetrahydroindol-4-one), or cinnoline (5,6,7,8-tetrahydrocinnoline) derivatives in moderate to excellent yields.

Abstract
Microwave-assisted organic transformation (MAOR) is presently gaining wide popularity in the field of organic synthesis. The conventional heating technique is gradually being removed from the laboratory and a novel microwave heating technique established to be used in both academia and industry. As compared to the classical organic methodology, the green technology tools have several advantages like dramatically reduced reaction times, improved yields, site selectivity, and the increased product purities with simplification of work-up procedures. In the current study, we have briefly described the overview of recent developments and applications of microwave irradiation in organic transformation with schematic compiling of the organic reactions, bioactive heterocyclic compounds, and so on. This review also presents a critical analysis of the various advantages of microwave irradiation in organic synthesis/transformation compared to the classical or conventional heating. So, we believe that our current study of the green microwave heating technique will be highly beneficial for the researchers from both academia and industry in their near future.

Abstract
Three-component reaction between arylglyoxals, 1,3-dicetones and enaminoketones leads to new polyfunctionalized tetraone derivatives which may be easily converted to polyfunctionalized pyrroles. Reactions were conducted in water or water-ethanol mixture as green solvents, and all products were isolated by simple washing of the resulting solids with diethyl ether.

Abstract
The synthesis of vinyloxyimidazopyridine with complete regio- and stereoselectivity has been achieved by the Cu(i)-catalyzed three-component coupling of 2-aminopyridine, 2-oxoaldehyde and alkyne. This protocol is operationally very simple and has much potential for the synthesis of heteroarylated vinyl ethers from basic chemicals. Steroidal imidazopyridinyl vinyl ether was obtained successfully from ethynylestradiol.

Abstract
An efficient, green and sustainable approach for the synthesis of novel polycyclic pyrrolidine-fused spirooxindole compounds was developed. The synthesis included a one-pot, three-component, domino reaction of (E)-3-(2-nitrovinyl)-indoles, isatins and chiral polycyclic α-amino acids under catalyst-free conditions at room temperature in EtOH–H2O. The salient features of this methodology are eco-friendliness, high yields and the ease of obtaining target compounds without the involvement of toxic solvents and column chromatography. These novel polycyclic pyrrolidine-fused spirooxindoles provide a collection of structurally diverse compounds that show promise for future bioassays and medical treatments. An efficient, green and sustainable approach was developed for the synthesis of novel polycyclic pyrrolidine-fused spirooxindole compounds.![]()

Abstract
A concise and efficient protocol for the regioselective synthesis of dual 1,4-dihydropyridines with several substituted patterns has been developed from a cascade cyclization of enaminones and aldehydes in different media (EtOH/CH3CN). The one-pot cascade reaction involves at least five reactive sites and generates multiple C–C and C–N bonds. The established protocol explores the chemistry of enaminones by employing their three reactive sites. The method has several advantages including mild conditions, operational simplicity, and high bond-forming efficiency. It may offer promise in a variety of biochemical applications. Abstract
An unprecedented domino reaction involving primary enaminones/enaminoesters and aldehydes has been developed for the synthesis of fully substituted pyridines. The construction of the products has been accomplished via the cascade generation of two C-C and one C-N bond by simply using TfOH as a promoter.

Abstract
Catalytic bicyclization of 1,5-enynes anchored by α,β-conjugates with arylsulfonyl radicals was established using TBAI and Cu(OAc)2 as co-catalysts.
A catalytic bicyclization reaction of 1,5-enynes anchored by α,β-conjugates with arylsulfonyl radicals generated in situ from sulfonyl hydrazides has been established using TBAI (20 mol%) and Cu(OAc)2 (5 mol%) as co-catalysts under convenient conditions. In addition, the use of benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as the oxidant and pivalic acid (PivOH) as an additive was proven to be necessary for this reaction. The reactions occurred through 5-exo-dig/6-endo-trig bicyclizations and homolytic aromatic substitution (HAS) cascade mechanisms to give benzo[b]fluorens regioselectively. A similar catalytic process was developed for the synthesis of γ-ketosulfones. These reactions feature readily accessible starting materials and simple one-pot operation.

Abstract
An efficient, inexpensive, environmentally friendly and high yield one-pot route to new spiro[indolo-3,10'-indeno [1,2-b]quinolin]-trione derivatives has been developed, involving three-component reaction of enaminones, N-substituted isatins and Indane-1,3-dione catalyzed by FeCl3. The approach to this spiro-heterocycle is noteworthy because it results in the formation of three new σ (two C-C and one C-N) bonds in a single operation, leading to the construction of novel spiro skeleton. This method works on a large scale in excellent yields.

Abstract
Pyrrole reacts with arylglyoxal monohydrates and enaminoketones or enaminoesters in alcoholic media in the presence of FeBr3 as a catalyst to produce 2,5-bis(1H-pyrrol-2-yl)-1H-pyrrole derivatives in high yields as the only product. Reactions are clean and products are isolated by simple filtration.

Abstract
A new three-component bicyclization for the efficient synthesis of a fused pyrano[2,3-b]pyridine library has been developed. The syntheses were achieved by reacting diverse C,O-containing nucleophiles, aldehydes, and 2-aminoprop-1-ene-1,1,3-tricarbonitrile under microwave irradiation, providing 50 examples of chemically and biomedically significant pyrano[2,3-b]pyridine analogues with the concomitant formation of two new rings and four σ bonds. This procedure features short reaction times, low-cost, and easily available starting materials, reliable scalability and mild reaction conditions, as well as operational simplicity.
