Abstract
A base-promoted cascade 5-exo-dig cyclization/carboxylation of o-alkynylsulfamides with CO2 has been accomplished, furnishing a variety of benzosultam-containing acrylates in good yields by using CO2 as the carboxylic source. Notably, in the case of substrates bearing a TMS-alkyne motif, the gem-dicarboxylation products were generated unprecedentedly.

Abstract
A novel route for an iron-catalyzed tandem sulfonylation, C(sp2)-H activation, cyclization reaction which uses N-phenyl-N-(prop-2-yn-1-yl)benzenesulfonamide and benzenesulfonohydrazide to synthesize derivatives of (Z)-2-phenyl-4-((phenylsulfonyl)methylene)-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[e][1,2]thiazine 1,1-dioxide has been developed. The method features convenient operation and good functional group tolerance. In addition, it employs insensitive and inexpensive FeSO4 as the catalyst and provides a direct approach for the preparation of benzothiazides.

Abstract
Vinylboronates and alkylboronates are key components in variegated transformations in all aspects of chemical science. This work describes a sequential radical difunctionalization strategy for the construction of fluorine-containing vinylboronates and alkylboronates with the integrated redox-active reagent N-trifluoromethylthiophthalimide. This multifunctional N-S precursor offers a scalable and practical protocol for the trifluoromethylthiolation-borylation of unsaturated hydrocarbons in a highly regio- and stereoselective fashion, which can be further converted into valuable synthons via boryl migration.

Abstract
Tetrasubstituted trifluoromethylthiolated alkenes can be accomplished directly through the chlorotrifluoromethylthiolation of sulfur ylides utilizing nucleophilic halide reagent and electrophilic SCF3 reagent. This cascade reaction is mild, highly practical, easy to manipulate, uses catalyst-free conditions, and demonstrates a wide substrate range with excellent functional group tolerance, furnishing E-selective products in good to high yields. The synthetic utility of this approach is documented through gram-scale preparation and late-stage modification of pharmaceutically relevant compounds, making it suitable for drug discovery.

Abstract
We report herein a copper-catalyzed sequential multicomponent reaction of benzo[d]isoxazoles with terminal alkynes and sulfonyl azides, which produced divergent 4-amino-2H-chromen-2-imines with excellent chemical selectivity. The reaction tolerated a broad range of functional groups, and released only N2 as the sole byproduct. The sulfonyl imino group could be removed to give biologically active free 4-amino-2H-chromenone in good yield.

Abstract
A mild and efficient tandem benzo[d]thiazole directed C-H iodination and trifluoromethylthiolation for the synthesis of ortho-trifluoromethylthiolated 2-arylbenzo[d]thiazoles have been developed using AgSCF3 as a coupling partner. The reaction exhibits a diverse array of functional group tolerance giving the desired products in good to excellent yields. Regioselective trifluoromethylthiolation was observed at the less sterically hindered site when the phenyl ring of the substrate possesses a methyl group at its meta position.

Abstract
A new parameter, trifluoromethylthio cation-donating ability (Tt(+)DA), is introduced as a quantitative descriptor for the propensity of electrophilic trifluoromethylthiolating reagents to transfer a CF3S moiety in organic synthesis. The first Tt(+)DA scale of popular reagents has been established through DFT calculations. Excellent correlation has been identified between the Tt(+)DAs of N-SCF3-type reagents and the pKa of the corresponding acids, offering a powerful avenue for the rational design of novel reagents.

Abstract
Under visible light irradiation, 2-ethynylbenzenesulfonamides react with Togni's reagent in the presence of a photocatalyst leading to 3-(2,2,2-trifluoroethylidene)-2,3-dihydrobenzo[d]isothiazole 1,1-dioxides in good yields. This transformation proceeds efficiently at room temperature through a photo-initiated trifluoromethylation.

Abstract
An unexpected result from the reaction of 2-alkynylaryldiazonium tetrafluoroborate with sulfur dioxide is described. In the presence of morpholin-4-amine, this transformation catalyzed by copper(i) bromide proceeds through insertion of sulfur dioxide and intramolecular 5-endo cyclization, leading to benzo[b]thiophene 1,1-dioxides in moderate to good yields.

Abstract
The chemoselective trifluoromethylthiolation of nitrogen nucleophiles and thiols using N-(trifluoromethylthio)phthalimide under mild, metal-free conditions is described. A series of trifluoromethanesulfenamides and unsymmetrical disulfides is prepared from the corresponding aliphatic and aromatic amines and thiols in good yields. The reactions are operationally simple and tolerate a wide variety of functional groups. Trifluoromethanesulfenamides and disulfides belong to interesting classes of organic molecules which possess remarkable properties for medicinal and agrochemical applications.

Abstract
A practical and convergent synthesis of biologically active 1-(N-acyl)-1-aminoisoquinolines from the reaction of 2-alkynylbenzaldoximes with amides has been realized. The readily available amides could be activated with triflic anhydride (Tf2O) and could efficiently participate in the domino reaction of 2-alkynylbenzaldoximes when catalyzed by AgOTf, thus providing various acylated 1-aminoisoquinolines with up to 98% yields.
