1 and {[Zn6(CPIDA)4(bix)3]·8H2O}
n
2 (H3CPIDA = N-(4-carboxyphenyl) iminodiacetic acid, bib = 1,4-bis(N-imidazolyl)butane, bix = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene), have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by analytical and IR spectroscopic data. Compound 1 displays an interesting 3D framework with trinodal (4,5)-connected topology, consisting of (4,4) rectangular grid double layers linked by trans-bib ligands. In 2, the corrugated nets with couples of central symmetrical chains constructed by CPIDA3− and bridging trans-bix ligands are pillared by infinite tubes made from CPIDA3− and cis-bix ligands to build a new 3D porous framework with parallelogram-shaped channels, exhibiting a pentanodal (3,4)-connected topology. Moreover, compounds 1 and 2 show intense solid state fluorescence at room temperature.

Abstract
Four coordination polymers based on 3,5-bis(1′,2′,4′-triazol-1′-yl) pyridine were synthesized. Compounds [Cd3(btc)2(btap)(H2O)6] and [Cd(oa)(btap)] exhibited high sensitivity luminescence response towards Fe3+, Ce3+, Cr2O72− and MnO4− in aqueous solution.

Abstract
With the rapid development of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), a variety of MOFs and their derivatives have been synthesized and reported in recent years. Commonly, multifunctional aromatic polycarboxylic acids and nitrogen-containing ligands are employed to construct MOFs with fascinating structures. 4,4',4''-(1,3,5-Triazine-2,4,6-triyl)tribenzoic acid (H3TATB) and the bidentate nitrogen-containing ligand 1,3-bis[(imidazol-1-yl)methyl]benzene (bib) were selected to prepare a novel ZnII-MOF under solvothermal conditions, namely poly[[tris{μ-1,3-bis[(imidazol-1-yl)methyl]benzene}bis[μ3-4,4',4''-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyl)tribenzoato]trizinc(II)] dimethylformamide disolvate trihydrate], {[Zn3(C24H12N3O6)2(C14H14N4)3]·2C3H7NO·3H2O}n (1). The structure of 1 was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and powder X-ray diffraction. The properties of 1 were investigated by thermogravimetric and fluorescence analysis. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that 1 belongs to the monoclinic space group Pc. The asymmetric unit contains three crystallographically independent ZnII centres, two 4,4',4''-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyl)tribenzoate (TATB3-) anions, three complete bib ligands, one and a half free dimethylformamide molecules and three guest water molecules. Each ZnII centre is four-coordinated and displays a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry. The ZnII centres are connected by TATB3- anions to form an angled ladder chain with large windows. Simultaneously, the bib ligands link ZnII centres to give a helical Zn-bib-Zn chain. Furthermore, adjacent ladders are bridged by Zn-bib-Zn chains to form a fascinating three-dimensional self-penetrated framework with the short Schläfli symbol 65·7·813·9·10. In addition, the luminescence properties of 1 in the solid state and the fluorescence sensing of metal ions in suspension were studied. Significantly, compound 1 shows potential application as a fluorescent sensor with sensing properties for Zr4+ and Cu2+ ions.

Abstract
Three coordination polymers based on 4,4′,4′′,4′′′-tetrakiscarboxyphenylsilane and 3,5-bis(1′,2′,4′-triazol-1′-yl)pyridine ligands were synthesized. Luminescence studies revealed that [Cd3(Htcps)2(btap)(H2O)6] exhibits a luminescence quenching response towards Fe3+ and Cu2+.

Abstract
Synthesizing kinetically stable coordination polymers (CPs) through ligand functionalization can effectively improve their supercapacitive performances. Herein, we have successfully synthesized three novel and topological Co-CPs by varying the flexible N-donor ligand and inorganic anions, namely, interpenetrated [Co(HTATB)( o-bib)]·H2O, extended two-dimensional (2D) layered Co(HTATB)( m-bib)·2H2O, and three-dimensional (3D) Co(HTATB)( m-bib), where bib is the flexible N-donor bis((1 H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl)benzene linker (where o- and m- refer to ortho and meta positions, respectively) ligand and HTATB is the partial deprotonation mode from 4,4',4″- s-triazine-2,4,6-triyl-tribenzoic acid. Various Co-CPs have been directly applied in the field of supercapacitors. All these framework materials exhibit high capacitance, excellent energy delivery efficiency, and good cycling performance. For instance, the maximum specific capacitance for penetrated 3D networks is 2572 F g-1 at 2.0 A g-1, and the mean energy delivery efficiency is up to 92.7% based on the tested current densities. Compared with extensional 2D layered and 3D networks, the 3D interpenetrated and polythreaded architectures could provide more active sites and thus promote fast charging and discharging processes. Furthermore, the Li+ uptake-release abilities of the Co-based CPs are also investigated, and the initial discharge capacity value for the 3D interpenetrated structures can reach up to 1792 mA h g-1 at a current density of 50 mA g-1.

Abstract
Six new Co(ii)-based mixed-ligand coordination polymers, namely, [Co2(H3bppc)2(2,2'-bpy)4]·H2O (), [Co2(Hbppc)(2,2'-bpy)2(H2O)]·H2O (), [Co(H2bppc)(H-bpp)]·2H2O (), [Co3(μ3-OH)(bppc)(dps)(CH3CH2OH)]·4H2O (), [Co2(bppc)(bib)(H2O)4]·(H2-bib)0.5·(H2O)3 (), and [Co2(Hbppc)(bix)2]·2H2O (), (H5bppc = biphenyl-2,4,6,3',5'-pentacarboxylic acid, 2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpp = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane, dps = 4,4'-sulfanediyldipyridine, bib = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-yl)benzene, bix = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene), have been obtained under solvothermal conditions. exhibits a 3D supramolecular framework based on a [Co2(H3bppc)2(2,2'-bpy)4] unit. has a (3,4)-connected dmc net with a (4·8(2))(4·8(5)) topology containing alternate binuclear metal clusters and single metal centres. shows a 3D supramolecular architecture constructed from ladder-like arrays decorated with H-bpp. exhibits a binodal (5,7)-connected 3D network based on trinuclear [Co3(μ3-OH)](5+) units with an unusual (3·4(6)·5(2)·6)(3(2)·4(6)·5(7)·6(5)·7) topology. features a (4,6)-connected 3D fsc open framework with binuclear [Co2(H2O)(COO)](3+) units as nodes, and H2-bib and water molecules located in the voids of its framework by hydrogen bonds. possesses a 3D net containing unusual 2D polyrotaxane sheets. Topological analysis reveals that has a (3,4,4)-connected 3D network with a (4·6·7(4))(4·6·7)(6·7(2)·10(2)·11) topology. The structural difference of and is due to the different pH values of the reaction system. Though complexes were synthesised under similar reaction conditions, the carboxylic groups of H5bppc were partially deprotonated in , and and fully deprotonated in and . Complexes display diverse structures depending on different N-donor ligands and the coordination modes of the multicarboxylate ligand. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements reveal that complexes show antiferromagnetic interactions.

Three new luminescent Cd(ii)-MOFs have been synthesized by regulating the steric effect of tetracarboxylate and auxiliary co-ligands. Notably, 3 displayed high sensitivity for Fe3+ in aqueous solution with mixed ions.
