Abstract
The mammalian Pre-B cell leukaemia transcription factors 1-4 (PBX1-4) constitutes the PBC class of the homeodomain (HD)-containing proteins, which play important roles in diverse developmental processes. The functions and the underlying molecular mechanisms of PBX1-3 but not PBX4 have been extensively studied, and they have been reported to direct essential morphogenetic processes and organogenesis. In the present study, we generated knockin mice of FLAG-tagged PBX4 and the Pbx4 knockout (KO) mice and carried out in-depth characterisation of PBX4 expression and function. PBX4 was initially detected only in the testis among several organs of the adult mice and was expressed in spermatocytes and spermatids. However, no abnormality in spermatogenesis, but growth retardation and premature death after birth were observed in most adult Pbx4 KO mice. These animals were inactive and had shorter hindlimbs and lower numbers of reticulocytes and lymphocytes, probably caused by abnormalities at earlier developmental stages. Pbx4 mRNAs were indeed detected in several embryonic cell types related to limb development by in situ hybridisation and single-cell RNA-sequencing analysis. Pbx4 protein was also detected in the bone marrow of adult mice with a lower level compared with that in the testis. PBX4 preferentially binds to the promoters of a large number of genes including those for other HD-containing proteins and ribosomal proteins whose mutations are related to anaemia. PBX4-binding sites are enriched in motifs similar to those of other HD-containing proteins such as PKNOX1 indicating that PBX4 may also act as a co-transcription factor like other PBC proteins. Together, these results show that PBX4 participates in limb development and haematopoiesis while its function in spermatogenesis has not been revealed by gene KO probably due to the complementary effects of other genes.

Abstract
Cornus officinalis, a medicinal and edible plant known for its liver-nourishing properties, has shown promise in inhibiting the activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs), crucial indicators of hepatic fibrosis, especially when processed by high pressure wine steaming (HPWS). Herein, this study aims to investigate the regulatory effects of cornus officinalis, both in its raw and HPWS forms, on inflammation and apoptosis in liver fibrosis and their underlying mechanisms. In vivo liver fibrosis models were established by subcutaneous injection of CCl4, while in vitro HSCs were exposed to transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β). These findings demonstrated that cornus officinalis with HPWS conspicuously ameliorated histopathological injury, reduced the release of proinflammatory factors, and decreased collagen deposition in CCl4-induced rats compared to its raw form. Utilizing ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer (UHPLC-QTOF-MS) combined with network analysis, we identified that the pharmacological effects of the changed components of cornus officinalis before and after HPWS, primarily centered on the adenosine phosphate (AMP)-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathway. Of note, cornus officinalis activated AMPK and Sirtuin 3 (SIRT3), promoting the apoptosis of activated HSCs through the caspase cascade by regulating caspase3, caspase6 and caspase9. siRNA experiments showed that cornus officinalis could regulate AMPK activity and its mediated-apoptosis through SIRT3. In conclusion, cornus officinalis exhibited the ability to reduce inflammation and apoptosis, with the SIRT3-AMPK signaling pathway identified as a potential mechanism underlying the synergistic effect of cornus officinalis with HPWS on anti-liver fibrosis.

Abstract
Sirtuin3 (SIRT3) is a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+)-dependent protein deacetylase located in the mitochondria, which mainly regulates the acetylation of mitochondrial proteins. In addition, SIRT3 is involved in critical biological processes, including oxidative stress, inflammation, DNA damage, and apoptosis, all of which are closely related to the progression of liver disease. Liver fibrosis characterized by the deposition of extracellular matrix is a result of long termed or repeated liver damage, frequently accompanied by damaged hepatocytes, the recruitment of inflammatory cells, and the activation of hepatic stellate cells. Based on the functions and pharmacology of SIRT3, we will review its roles in liver fibrosis from three aspects: First, the main functions and pharmacological effects of SIRT3 were investigated based on its structure. Second, the roles of SIRT3 in major cells in the liver were summarized to reveal its mechanism in developing liver fibrosis. Last, drugs that regulate SIRT3 to prevent and treat liver fibrosis were discussed. In conclusion, exploring the pharmacological effects of SIRT3, especially in the liver, may be a potential strategy for treating liver fibrosis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Endometrial Cancer (EC) is a highly heterogeneous cancer comprising both histological and molecular subtypes. Using a non-invasive modality method to trigger these subtypes as early as possible can aid clinicians in establishing individualized treatment. PURPOSE The study aimed to clarify the value of the Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) of EC MRI in determining molecular subtypes. MATERIAL AND METHODS We retrospectively recruited 109 patients with pathologically proven EC (78 endometrioid cancers and 31 non-endometrioid cancers) with available molecular classification from a tertiary centre. MRI was prospectively performed a month prior to surgery; images were blindly interpreted by two experienced radiologists with consensus reading. The ADC value was measured by an experienced radiologist on the commercially available processing workstation. Interoperator measurement consistency was calculated. RESULTS Our sample comprised 17 PLOE, 32 MSI-H, 31 NSMP, and 29 P53abn ECs. Clinical information did not differ significantly among the groups. The maximum diameter and volume of the lesions differed among the groups. The ADC value in the maximal area (ADCarea) or region of interest (ROI, ADCroi) in the P53abn group was higher than that in the other groups (894.0 ±12.6 and 817.5 ± 83.3 x10-6 mm2/s). The ADC mean values were significantly different between the P53abn group and the other groups (P = 0.000). The nomogram showed the highest discriminative ability to distinguish P53abn EC from other types (AUC: 0.859). CONCLUSION Our results have suggested the quantitative MR characteristics (ADC values) derived from preoperative EC MRI to provide useful information in preoperatively determining P53abn cancer.

Abstract
Introduction This study aimed to explore the transcriptomic profile of premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) by investigating alterations in gene expression. Methods A total of sixty-one women, comprising 31 individuals with POI in the POI group and 30 healthy women in the control group (HC group), aged between 24 and 40 years, were recruited for this study. The transcriptomic profiles of peripheral blood samples from all study subjects were analyzed using RNA-sequencing. Results The results revealed 39 differentially expressed genes in individuals with POI compared to healthy controls, with 10 upregulated and 29 downregulated genes. Correlation analysis highlighted the relationship between the expression of SLC25A39, CNIH3, and PDZK1IP1 and hormone levels. Additionally, an effective classification model was developed using SLC25A39, CNIH3, PDZK1IP1, SHISA4, and LOC389834. Functional enrichment analysis demonstrated the involvement of these differentially expressed genes in the "haptoglobin-hemoglobin complex," while KEGG pathway analysis indicated their participation in the "Proteoglycans in cancer" pathway. Conclusion The identified genes could play a crucial role in characterizing the genetic foundation of POI, potentially serving as valuable biomarkers for enhancing disease classification accuracy.

Abstract
Osteoporosis characterized by decreased bone density and mass, is a systemic bone disease with the destruction of microstructure and increase in fragility. Osteoporosis is attributed to multiple causes, including aging, inflammation, diabetes mellitus, and other factors induced by the adverse effects of medications. Without treatment, osteoporosis will further progress and bring great trouble to human life. Due to the various causes, the treatment of osteoporosis is mainly aimed at improving bone metabolism, inhibiting bone resorption, and promoting bone formation. Although the currently approved drugs can reduce the risk of fragility fractures in individuals, a single drug has limitations in terms of safety and effectiveness. By contrast, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), a characteristic discipline in China, including syndrome differentiation, Chinese medicine prescription, and active ingredients, shows unique advantages in the treatment of osteoporosis and has received attention all over the world. Therefore, this review summarized the pathogenic factors, pathogenesis, therapy limitations, and advantages of TCM, aiming at providing new ideas for the prevention and treatment of OP.

Abstract
Endometrial carcinoma remains a public health concern with a growing incidence, particularly in younger women. Preserving fertility is a crucial consideration in the management of early-onset endometrioid endometrial carcinoma (EEEC), particularly in patients under 40 who maintain both reproductive desire and capacity. To illuminate the molecular characteristics of EEEC, we undertook a large-scale multi-omics study of 215 patients with endometrial carcinoma, including 81 with EEEC. We reveal an unexpected association between exposome-related mutational signature and EEEC, characterized by specific CTNNB1 and SIGLEC10 hotspot mutations and disruption of downstream pathways. Interestingly, SIGLEC10Q144K mutation in EEECs resulted in aberrant SIGLEC-10 protein expression and promoted progestin resistance by interacting with estrogen receptor alpha. We also identified potential protein biomarkers for progestin response in fertility-sparing treatment for EEEC. Collectively, our study establishes a proteogenomic resource of EEECs, uncovering the interactions between exposome and genomic susceptibilities that contribute to the development of primary prevention and early detection strategies for EEECs.

Abstract
AIMS The aim of the present study was to explore the effect of oropharyngeal mother's milk administration on oral microbial colonization in infants fed by gastric tube at different time points. METHODS Infants (n = 116) with birth weight <1500 g were randomly allocated into two groups which both received breast milk for enteral nutrition. The control group (n = 51) accepted oropharyngeal normal saline administration. The experimental group (n = 53) accepted oropharyngeal mother's milk administration before fed by gastric tube once every 3 h over 21 days after birth. We analyzed the oral microbiota at initiation and 7 and 14 and 21 days later using 16S DNA amplicon sequencing. RESULTS There were no difference in oral microbial diversity between the two groups at any time point, but diversity decreased significantly over time in both groups. On the first day of life, the oral microbiota of the infant in the experimental and control groups consisted mainly of Firmicutes (7.75%, 6.18%) and Proteobacteria (68.65%, 68.69%), respectively. As time increases to 21 days after birth, Firmicutes (77.67%, 77.66%) had replaced Proteobacteria (68.65%, 68.69%) as the predominant phylum. DISCUSSION From birth to 21 days after birth, oropharyngeal mother's milk administration did not change the diversity and structural composition of the oral microbiota. The oral microbial diversity of infants declined significantly over time. Firmicutes had replaced Proteobacteria as the predominant phylum.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Single umbilical artery (SUA) is strongly associated with foetal structural abnormalities; however, the exact pattern of this association has not been described. We aimed to investigate the occurrence of malformations in singleton pregnancies with SUA in China and to study the association between the absent side of the umbilical artery and foetal malformations. METHODS This was a retrospective study of singleton pregnancies for which routine first-trimester anatomical screening was performed at 11+ 0-13+ 6 gestational weeks and, if the pregnancy continued, a second-trimester scan was performed at 20+ 0-24+ 0 weeks. Data were extracted from records at the referral centre, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, between January 2011 and April 2019 (n = 47,894). Using logistic regression, the odds ratios (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated for malformations associated with SUA. RESULTS The incidence of SUA in our study was 2.0% (970/47,894). Of all foetuses with SUA, 387 (39.9%) had structural malformations. The malformation type varied, with cardiovascular complications being the most common. A robust association was observed between SUA and oesophageal stenosis or atresia (OR: 25.33), followed by cardiovascular (OR: 9.98-24.02), scoliosis (OR: 18.62), genitourinary (OR: 2.45-15.66), and brain malformations (OR: 4.73-9.12). The absence of the left umbilical artery (n = 445, 45.9%) was consistent with that of the right umbilical artery (n = 431, 44.4%). Furthermore, a significantly higher rate of an absent right than the left umbilical artery (p<0.01) was observed in SUA with foetal abnormalities than in SUA with no malformations. CONCLUSIONS Overall, we observed a higher risk of various specific malformations in foetuses with SUA, and a strong association between SUA and oesophageal stenosis or atresia. The absence of the right umbilical artery was most common in foetuses with SUA and structural malformations. This study provides a reference for ultrasonographers in conducting foetal structural screening for pregnant women with SUA.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Early and accurate identification of lymphatic node metastasis (LNM) and lymphatic vascular space invasion (LVSI) for endometrial cancer (EC) patients is important for treatment design, but difficult on multi-parametric MRI (mpMRI) images. PURPOSE To develop a deep learning (DL) model to simultaneously identify of LNM and LVSI of EC from mpMRI images. STUDY TYPE Retrospective. POPULATION Six hundred twenty-one patients with histologically proven EC from two institutions, including 111 LNM-positive and 168 LVSI-positive, divided into training, internal, and external test cohorts of 398, 169, and 54 patients, respectively. FIELD STRENGTH/SEQUENCE T2-weighted imaging (T2WI), contrast-enhanced T1WI (CE-T1WI), and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) were scanned with turbo spin-echo, gradient-echo, and two-dimensional echo-planar sequences, using either a 1.5 T or 3 T system. ASSESSMENT EC lesions were manually delineated on T2WI by two radiologists and used to train an nnU-Net model for automatic segmentation. A multi-task DL model was developed to simultaneously identify LNM and LVSI positive status using the segmented EC lesion regions and T2WI, CE-T1WI, and DWI images as inputs. The performance of the model for LNM-positive diagnosis was compared with those of three radiologists in the external test cohort. STATISTICAL TESTS Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) was used to evaluate segmentation results. Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) analysis was used to assess the performance of LNM and LVSI status identification. P value <0.05 was considered significant. RESULTS EC lesion segmentation model achieved mean DSC values of 0.700 ± 0.25 and 0.693 ± 0.21 in the internal and external test cohorts, respectively. For LNM positive/LVSI positive identification, the proposed model achieved AUC values of 0.895/0.848, 0.806/0.795, and 0.804/0.728 in the training, internal, and external test cohorts, respectively, and better than those of three radiologists (AUC = 0.770/0.648/0.674). DATA CONCLUSION The proposed model has potential to help clinicians to identify LNM and LVSI status of EC patients and improve treatment planning. EVIDENCE LEVEL 3 TECHNICAL EFFICACY: Stage 2.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Autoantibodies against interferon-γ (IFN-γ) can inhibit IFN-γ-dependent signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 phosphorylation and thus increase the risk of infection with intracellular pathogens, such as Talaromyces marneffei (TM), nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTMs), and Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB). Here, we report a rare case of triple infection caused by TM, NTM, and TB in a human immunodeficiency virus-negative patient. CASE PRESENTATION A middle-aged female was admitted to our hospital after experiencing recurrent rash, cough, and expectoration for 4 months. She was successively diagnosed with NTM, TM, and TB infections without conventional immunosuppression-associated factors. However, after effective anti-infective treatment, the patient was confirmed to have allergic conjunctivitis and was successfully treated with corticosteroids and immunosuppressants. The most conspicuous characteristics were recurrent infection and immune disorders. CONCLUSIONS High-titer anti-IFN-γ autoantibodies are strongly associated with severe and disseminated infections, such as NTM, TM, and TB. It is characterized by persistently high degree of inflammation and high immunoglobin levels.

Abstract
Background Despite the well-grounded benefits of physical activity (PA), poor compliance with the PA guidelines has been reported among head and neck cancer (HNC) patients. Mobile health (mHealth)-based interventions can help cancer survivors increase their PA levels and increase the reach or efficiency of rehabilitation services. However, there is limited knowledge about the needs and perceptions of HNC patients regarding these interventions. This study explored the perceptions and needs of HNC patients regarding mHealth-based PA programs before developing such interventions to ensure their improved effectiveness. Study design A constructivist qualitative study. Methods We purposively selected 17 adult HNC patients aged 40-80 years to determine their needs and perceptions of future mHealth-based PA programs. Semi-structured face-to-face interviews were conducted, and the data were analyzed via thematic analysis. The report followed the Consolidated Criteria for Qualitative Research Reports guidelines. Results Four themes were analyzed from the interview transcripts regarding the needs and perceptions of mHealth-based PA programs: (1) functionality needs; (2) system usage requirements; (3) social support; and (4) perceived barriers and facilitators. HNC patients expect highly customized and specialized mHealth interventions that consider individual factors, address their concerns about security, network, and cost, and prefer improved comfort. Moreover, they expect to receive support from their healthcare providers, families, and peers. Conclusion The study provides pragmatic ready-to-use recommendations to design interventions for inactive HNC patients to achieve the recommended PA levels. Future mHealth interventions should be tailored according to the needs of the HNC patients by utilizing perceived facilitators and removing perceived barriers to help them engage in PA actively.

Abstract
Small cell carcinoma of the ovary hypercalcemic type (SCCOHT) is a rare and aggressive malignancy that poses a significant clinical challenge due to its grim prognosis. Unfortunately, only three SCCOHT cell lines are currently available for scientific research. In this study, we have successfully established a novel SCCOHT cell line from a recurrent lesion of a SCCOHT patient, named SCCOHT-CH-1. We comprehensively characterized the novel cell line by employing techniques such as morphological observation, CCK-8 assay, Transwell assay, clone formation assay, short tandem repeat sequence (STR) analysis, karyotype analysis, immunohistochemical staining, western blot assay, and xenograft tumor formation assay. SCCOHT-CH-1 cells were small circular and had a unique STR profile. The population-doubling time of SCCOHT-CH-1 was 33.02 h. The cell line showed potential migratory and invasive ability. Compared with another SCCOHT cell line COV434, SCCOHT-CH-1 exhibited higher expression of AKT, VIM, and CCND1. At the same time, SCCOHT-CH-1 has the ability of tumorigenesis in vivo. We also successfully constructed three patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models of SCCOHT, which were pathologically diagnosed to be consistent with the primary tumor, accompanied by loss of SAMRCA4 protein expression. The establishment of SCCOHT-CH-1 cell line and PDX models from Chinese people represent a pivotal step toward unraveling the molecular mechanism of SCCOHT and fostering the development of targeted interventions to tackle this challenging malignancy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Abortion prone (AP) is a common clinical event. The underlying mechanism remains unclear. Traditional Chinese formulas are known to be efficient in the management of abortion. The purpose of this study is to observe the effects of Anzitiaochongtang (AZT), a traditional formulation of Chinese medicine, on improving AP in mice by regulating immune tolerance. METHODS An established abortion model (CBA/J×DBA/2) was employed. AZT was prepared and administered to mice in a manner consistent with clinical practice. Tolerogenic dendritic cells (tDC) and type 1 regulatory T cells (Tr1 cell) in mice were analyzed by immunological approaches to be used as representative immune tolerant parameters. RESULTS An AP model was established with CBA/J × DBA/2 mice. The expression of IL-10 in tDC and Tr1 cell frequency in the mouse decidua tissues were lower in the AP group than that in the normal pregnancy (NP) group. Administration of AZT up regulated the expression of IL-10 in tDCs and Tr1 cell generation in the decidua tissues, and improved the pregnancy and tissue structure in AP mice. The main mechanism by which AZT improves pregnancy in AP mice is that AZT enhanced the expression of galectin-9 in the epithelial cells of decidua tissues. Galectin 9 activates TIM3 on DCs to promote the IL-10 expression. The DCs induced more Tr1 cells in the decidua tissues. CONCLUSIONS Dysfunctional tDCs were detected in the AP decidua tissues. Administration of AZT improved pregnancy in AP mice by regulating tDC function and generation of Tr1 cells in the maternal-fetal interface.

Abstract
Meiotic initiation is a critical step in gametogenesis. Recently, some genes required for meiotic initiation have been identified. However, meiosis-initiating factors and the underlying mechanisms are far from being fully understood. We have established a long-term culture system of spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) and an in vitro model of meiotic initiation using mouse SSCs. Our previous study revealed that the RNA-binding protein RBFOX2 may regulate meiotic initiation, but the role and the mechanism need to be further elucidated. In this study, we constructed RBFOX2 knockdown SSC lines by using lentivirus-mediated gene delivery method, and found that the knockdown SSCs underwent normal self-renewal, mitosis and differentiation. However, they were unable to initiate meiosis when treated with retinoic acid, and they underwent apoptosis. These results indicate that RBFOX2 plays an essential role in meiotic initiation of spermatogonia. This work provides new clues for understanding the functions of RNA-binding proteins in meiotic initiation.

Abstract
The farnesoid X receptor (FXR), a ligand-activated transcription factor, plays a crucial role in regulating bile acid metabolism within the enterohepatic circulation. Beyond its involvement in metabolic disorders and immune imbalances affecting various tissues, FXR is implicated in microbiota modulation, gut- to-brain communication, and liver disease. The liver, as a pivotal metabolic and detoxification organ, is susceptible to damage from factors such as alcohol, viruses, drugs, and high-fat diets. Chronic or recurrent liver injury can culminate in liver fibrosis, which, if left untreated, may progress to cirrhosis and even liver cancer, posing significant health risks. However, therapeutic options for liver fibrosis remain limited in terms of FDA- approved drugs. Recent insights into the structure of FXR, coupled with animal and clinical investigations, have shed light on its potential pharmacological role in hepatic fibrosis. Progress has been achieved in both fundamental research and clinical applications. This review critically examines recent advancements in FXR research, highlighting challenges and potential mechanisms underlying its role in liver fibrosis treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Guidelines are intended to facilitate evidence-based clinical decision-making and knowledge translation; however, the quality and rigor of the guidelines are different. This study was conducted to assess the quality of sublingual immunotherapy guidelines for allergic rhinitis, in order to provide a reference for evidence-based clinical treatment and management of sublingual immunotherapy. METHODS Using both Chinese and English search methods, articles were obtained from PubMed, Cochrane, Web of Science, CNKI, CBM, WanFang Data, VIP, and other databases from the construction of the database to September 2020. The AGREE II instrument was used by two researchers to independently evaluate the quality of the extracted articles, and the consistency of the researchers was evaluated using the inter-group correlation coefficient. RESULTS Ten articles were included in this study, of which two articles ranked A level, six articles ranked B level, and two articles ranked C level. The six sections of AGREE II included scope and aim, clarity, participant, applicability, rigor, and editorial independence, with standardized scores of 78.06%, 45.83%, 42.81%, 77.50%, 50.42%, and 46.25%, respectively. CONCLUSION The quality of the current guidelines for sublingual immunotherapy is average. The formulation methodology and reporting standards of these guidelines must be developed. By standardizing the treatment of sublingual immunotherapy properly, it is recommended that guideline makers refer to the AGREE II to formulate high-quality guidelines and promote their wide application.

Abstract
Alternative splicing (AS) plays significant roles in a multitude of fundamental biological activities. AS is prevalent in the testis, but the regulations of AS in spermatogenesis is only little explored. Here, we report that Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 1 (SRSF1) plays critical roles in alternative splicing and male reproduction. Male germ cell-specific deletion of Srsf1 led to complete infertility by affecting spermatogenesis. Mechanistically, by combining RNA-seq data with LACE-seq data, we showed that SRSF1 affected the AS of Stra8 in a direct manner and Dazl, Dmc1, Mre11a, Syce2 and Rif1 in an indirect manner. Our findings demonstrate that SRSF1 has crucial functions in spermatogenesis and male fertility by regulating alternative splicing.

Abstract
AIM To identify and map bedside nurses' practice scope and competencies regarding antimicrobial stewardship in acute hospital settings, and develop a competency framework for them. BACKGROUND Antimicrobial stewardship requires multidisciplinary engagement including nursing. However, bedside nurses' antimicrobial stewardship practice scope and competencies in acute hospital settings remain unclear. DESIGN Scoping review. METHODS Using a five-stage framework proposed by Arksey and O'Malley and following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews guidelines. RESULTS A total of 1422 records were retrieved, and 41 studies were included. In addition to the six practices recommended, this review summarized bedside nurses' contributions to five additional fields as well. Correspondingly, the competencies required by bedside nurses were summarized into eight domains: specialized knowledge, safety medication administration, leadership, education, diagnostic stewardship, infection prevention and control, professional development and professional quality. CONCLUSION Nurses' practice scope overlaps greatly with routine nursing practice in antimicrobial stewardship, confirming the evidence that nurses are ideal partners in antimicrobial stewardship. This review developed a competency framework at both basic and advanced levels. Among them, professional knowledge is the foundation, while professional quality motivates nurses to participate. In addition to competency assessment, it can also be used for training and human resource deployment based on seniority or professional level. This could bridge the knowledge gap and improve the engagement of nurses in heavy workload situations. RELEVANCE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE This practice scope will provide opportunities for nurses to engage in antimicrobial stewardship. Moreover, nursing competencies identified in this field could facilitate the development of competency-based education interventions, talent assessments, training and recruitment programs. DATA RESOURCES PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, CINHAL, PsycINFO, Cochrane Library, ProQuest and Scopus were searched from inception to November 2022, with an updated search in March 2023. IMPACT This scoping review provides evidence for best nursing practice scope and competency in antimicrobial stewardship in hospitals. However, it is also in line with the commitment of all nurses in the global community to combat antimicrobial resistance, which has become a global threat. An antimicrobial stewardship competency framework for bedside nurses was developed at both the basic and advanced levels. It would facilitate talent assessment, training, recruitment and human resource management by guiding the development of competency-based education interventions. Abstract
PURPOSE To describe the current application status of NANDA-I nursing diagnoses, Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC), and Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC) in cardiac rehabilitation nursing and identify useful NANDA-I, NIC, and NOC (NNN) linkages for clinical nursing practitioners. METHODS This scoping review was performed in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institut guidelines. We systematically searched eight databases, and the literature search took place between June and July 2023. The characteristics and results of the studies were synthesized and analyzed in a narrative way. FINDINGS The application of NANDA-I nursing diagnosis, NIC and NOC in cardiac rehabilitation nursing can be divided into three topics: the content, value and effect of NANDA-I nursing diagnosis, NIC and NOC. CONCLUSION The application of NANDA-I, NIC, and NOC in the field of cardiac rehabilitation nursing shows positive effects on the whole, which can provide more standardized theoretical guidance, improve nursing outcomes in clinical settings, and enhance nursing quality. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING PRACTICE This experience report will guide nurses to use NANDA-I, NIC, and NOC for better cardiac rehabilitation care.

Abstract
Background Health science popularization short video disseminates health information to the public in an understandable way about health information. Objective To investigate the preferences of Chinese residents for health science popularization short videos and provide suggestions for optimizing the production of short videos. Methods An online survey of Chinese people was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire, and a discrete choice experiment (DCE) was used to explore the public's preferences for health science popularization short videos. Results A total of 618 respondents were included, of which 306 (45.51%) were male and 312 (50.49%) were female, 271 (43.85%) were aged 18-25, 239 (38.67%) were aged 26-60, and 108 (17.48%) were aged 60 and above. Whether the video is charged or not (46.891%) and the account subject (28.806%) were both considered important. The results of the DCE revealed that the participants considered video free of charge as the most significant attribute of health science popularization short videos (OR 3.433, 95% CI 3.243-3.633). Overall, participants preferred and were more willing to pay for health science popularization short videos with a hospital account subject (OR 1.192, 95% CI 1.116-1.274), with the form of graphic narration (OR 1.062, 95% CI 1.003-1.126), free of charge (OR 3.433, 95% CI 3.243-3.633), with the content that satisfies their needs (very much needed: OR 1.253, 95% CI 95% CI 1.197-1.311; generally needed: OR 1.078, 95% CI 1.029-1.129), with platform certification (OR 1.041, 95% CI 1.011-1.073), without commercial advertisements (OR 1.048, 95% CI 1.018-1.080), with simple-to-understand content (OR 1.071, 95% CI 1.040-1.104), and with video content that evokes fear or dread of illness in the viewer (OR 1.046, 95% CI 1.015-1.078). Conclusion Participants favor free health popularization short videos, which are hospital accounts, with content that is illustrated, understandable, meets their needs, and can serve as a warning. In the future, the production of health popularization short videos should focus on improving the diversity and relevance of video content, making it as easy to understand to achieve good science popularization effects.

Abstract
PURPOSE To establish an early clinical diagnosis model based on the retinal vascular features associated with POI, supplying a non-invasive way for accurately and early predicted the risk of POI. METHODS A total of 78 women with spontaneous POI and 48 healthy women were recruited from the Affiliated Shenzhen Maternity & Child Healthcare Hospital in the study. Retinal characteristics were analyzed using an automated retinal image analysis system. Binary logistic regression was used to identify POI cases and develop predictive models. RESULTS Compared to the normal group, the POI group had larger central retinal artery equivalent (CRAE) (P = 0.006), central retinal vein equivalent (CRVE) (P = 0.001), index of venules asymmetry (Vasym) (P = 0.000); larger bifurcation angles of arterioles (Aangle) (P = 0.001), bifurcation coefficient of venule (BCV) (P = 0.001) and more obvious arteriovenous nipping (Nipping) (P = 0.005), but lower arteriole-to-venule ratio (AVR) (P = 0.012). In the POI group, the odds ratio (OR) of Vasym was 6.72e-32 (95% C.I. 4.62e-49-9.79e-15, P = 0.000), the OR of BCV was 5.66e-20 (95% C.I. 1.93e-34-.0000, P = 5.66e-20) and the OR of Nipping was 6.65e-06 (95% C.I. 6.33e-10-.0698, P = 0.012). Moreover, the area under the ROC curve for the binary logistic regression with retinal characteristics was 0.8582, and the fitting degree of regression models was 60.48% (Prob > chi-square = 0.6048). CONCLUSION This study demonstrated that retinal image analysis can provide useful information for POI identification and certain characteristics may help with early clinical diagnosis of POI.

Abstract
Vulvar and vaginal lesions representing a wide spectrum of diseases in female lower genital tract diseases make up a small part of all gynecological etiologies. Many of them are rare etiologies and are reported in case-reports studies. Translabial and transperineal ultrasound are modalities of choice for the first evaluation of perineal lesions. MRI is usually performed to determine the etiology of the lesions and stage. Benign lesions of the vulva and vagina usually manifest as simple cystic (vestibular cyst or endometrioma) or solid lesions (leiomyoma or angiofibroblastoma), while malignancies usually appear as large, solid masses and fill into both vaginal and perineal area. Post-contrast images play an important role in establishing a differential diagnosis, however, some benign lesions can also exhibit a vivid enhancement. Knowledge about radiologic-associated pathological manifestations may aid clinicians in better understanding these pathologies, especially for some rare lesions, and making a proper diagnosis before invasive procedures.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical and pathological features of primary gastric (gastrointestinal)-type mucoglandular lesions of the endometrium. Methods: Eight cases of primary gastric (gastrointestinal)-type mucoglandular lesions of endometrium diagnosed between 2014 to 2022 were retrieved from pathology archives of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, Shanghai, China. The clinical history, pathological sections and follow-ups were analyzed. Results: The eight patients ranged in age from 35 to 67 years, with an average age of 55.5 years. Seven patients were examined for high-risk human papillary virus (HPV) before operation. Only one of them was positive for high-risk HPV52. No cervical mucinous lesions were found in any of the patients. Two cases were invasive gastric (gastrointestinal)-type adenocarcinoma, 2 cases were benign gastric (gastrointestinal)-type mucinous metaplasia, and the other 4 cases were atypical gastric (gastrointestinal)-type mucinous gland hyperplasia. Microscopically, tumor cells showed mucous epithelium with gastrointestinal differentiation. Immunophenotyping showed that MUC6 was diffusely or focally positive in 5 cases, CK20 and CDX2 were positive in 3 cases. And p16 was negative or focally positive in 5 cases and strongly positive in 1 case. ER was expressed in both benign and atypical lesions, and weakly positive or negative in the invasive adenocarcinoma. p53 showed mutant expression in one case and wild-type expression in the rest. HPV in situ hybridization was negative. Conclusions: Primary gastric (gastrointestinal)-type mucoglandular lesions of the endometrium show various forms of gastrointestinal differentiation, which are high-risk HPV independent. Morphology combined with immunohistochemistry is helpful for the diagnosis, which can only be made on exclusion of cervical gastrointestinal glandular lesion, gastrointestinal metastatic carcinoma and the mucinous subtype of endometrioid carcinoma.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Talaromyces marneffei (T. marneffei), a dimorphic fungus, causes local or disseminated infection in humans. We aimed to analyze the clinical characteristics, prognostic factors, and survival outcomes of patients with T. marneffei infection and compare the differences between human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive and HIV-negative subgroups. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed 241 patients with T. marneffei infection at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University between January 2012 and January 2022. The overall population was stratified into HIV-positive (n = 98) and HIV-negative (n = 143) groups according to HIV status. Kaplan-Meier analysis and multivariate Cox regression models were used to determine the prognostic factors for overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). RESULTS With a median follow-up time of 58.9 months, 120 patients (49.8%) experienced disease progression and 85 patients (70.8%) died. The 5-year rates of OS and PFS were 61.4% (95% CI 55.0-68.6%) and 47.8% (95% CI 41.5-55.1%), respectively. As an independent factor, patients who were HIV positive had better PFS (HR 0.50, 95% CI 0.31-0.82; p < 0.01) than patients who were HIV negative. Compared with patients who were HIV positive, patients who were HIV negative were older and had more probabilities of underlying diseases, chest involvement, bone destruction, and higher count of neutrophils (all p < 0.05). Hemoglobin (PFS: HR 0.62; 95% CI 0.39-1.00; p < 0.05; OS: HR 0.45; 95% CI 0.22-0.89; p = 0.02) and lymphocyte count (PFS: HR 0.06; 95% CI 0.01-0.26; p < 0.01; OS: HR 0.08; 95% CI 0.01-0.40; p < 0.01) were independent prognostic factors for PFS and OS in patients who were HIV negative. CONCLUSIONS Patients with T. marneffei infection have a poor prognosis. Patients who are HIV positive and HIV negative have relatively independent clinical characteristics. Multiple organ involvement and disease progression are more common in patients who are HIV negative.

Abstract
Objective: This study explored the correlation between a Th1/Th2 cytokines imbalance and 25-hydroxy-vitamin D (vit D) level in early chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), provided experimental rationales for the role of vit D in the prevention and control of COPD, and elucidated the potential anti-inflammatory mechanism involved.Methods: This study was based on the results of the “Screening and Early Diagnosis of COPD” public health project conducted through Shenzhen Municipal Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone Hospital. Patients with early COPD were selected as study participants. A prospective, randomized, and controlled method was employed for assigning eligible participants into three groups, i.e., a COPD lung function (LF) I, COPD LF II, and a healthy group, respectively (n = 40 each). The serum content of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), interleukin 4 (IL-4), and IL-6 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the ratio of IFN-γ/IL-4 treated as a marker for Th1/Th2. The serum concentration of 25-hydroxyl-vit D (25 [OH]D) was quantified by a chemiluminescence assay. Statistical processing was performed, and the correlations between changes in the above parameters with vit D level and LF parameters were examined.Results: There were differences in FEV1pred%, FEV1/FVC, IFN-γ, IL-4, IL-6 and IFN-γ/IL-4 between the healthy group, the COPD LF I group and the COPD LF II group (p < 0.05). In early COPD, Th1/Th2 cytokines was positively correlated with forced expiratory volume/expected value (FEV1pred%) (r = 0.485, p < 0.001) and forced expiratory volume/forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) (r = 0.273, p = 0.018); Th1/Th2 cytokines levels positively correlated with vit D level (r = 0.27, p = 0.02), and 25(OH)D level positively correlated with FEV1pred% (r = 0.695, p < 0.001).Conclusion: Vitamin D deficiency was ubiquitous in patients with early COPD. It was positively correlated with the FEV1pred% and FEV1/FVC LF parameters. Accordingly, this study provides experimental rationales for the role of vit D in the prevention and control of COPD and the potential anti-inflammatory mechanisms involved.

Abstract
COL1A1–PDGFB gene fusion uterine sarcoma is an especially rare malignant mesenchymal tumor that was previously classified as an undifferentiated uterine sarcoma due to the lack of specific features of differentiation. Till now, only five cases have been reported, and here we presented another case recently diagnosed in a Chinese woman who had vaginal bleeding. She presented with a cervical mass at the anterior lip of the cervix invading the vagina and was treated with laparoscopic total hysterectomy plus bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (TH+BSO) and partial vaginal wall resection with the final pathology of COL1A1–PDGFB fusion uterine sarcoma. Our aim is to emphasize the importance of differential diagnosis of this rare tumor, as early precise diagnosis may allow patients to benefit from the targeted therapy imatinib. This article also serves as further clinical evidence of this disease, serving to increase clinical awareness of this rare sarcoma to avoid misdiagnosis.

Abstract
Objective: To study the incubation period of the infection with 2019-nCoV Omicron variant BA.5.1.3. Methods: Based on the epidemiological survey data of 315 COVID-19 cases and the characteristics of interval censored data structure, log-normal distribution and Gamma distribution were used to estimate the incubation. Bayes estimation was performed for the parameters of each distribution function using discrete time Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm. Results: The mean age of the 315 COVID-19 cases was (42.01±16.54) years, and men accounted for 30.16%. A total of 156 cases with mean age of (41.65±16.32) years reported the times when symptoms occurred. The log-normal distribution and Gamma distribution indicated that the M (Q1, Q3) of the incubation period from exposure to symptom onset was 2.53 (1.86, 3.44) days and 2.64 (1.91, 3.52) days, respectively, and the M (Q1, Q3) of the incubation period from exposure to the first positive nucleic acid detection was 2.45 (1.76, 3.40) days and 2.57 (1.81, 3.52) days, respectively. Conclusions: The incubation period by Bayes estimation based on log-normal distribution and Gamma distribution, respectively, was similar to each other, and the best distribution of incubation period was Gamma distribution, the difference between the incubation period from exposure to the first positive nucleic acid detection and the incubation period from exposure to symptom onset was small. The median of incubation period of infection caused by Omicron variant BA.5.1.3 was shorter than those of previous Omicron variants.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to investigate the frequency and clinicopathological characteristics of HPV-independent cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). METHODS A total of 3869 patients with CSCC from 2017 to 2021 were searched. p16INK4a immunochemistry (IHC), two HPV-DNA(L1) polymerase chain reactions and HPV mRNA in situ hybridization were performed. Viral copies were detected using the 21 HPV quantitative test. RESULTS Six cases showed negative results in all four assays (group 1, 0.16%). Twenty-seven cases showed discordant results (group 2), and 3836 cases presented all-positive results (group 3). p16INK4a IHC showed similar sensitivity, specificity, and positive predictive value compared to the other three direct HPV assays. 21 HPV genotyping showed 100% of negative predictive value. HPV copies were extremely lower in Group 2 than in Group 3 (P < 0.01), but were not significantly different from those in Group 1. Older age, advanced FIGO stage (III-IV) and abnormal p53 (p53abn) IHC were independent predictors of HPV-negative status in univariate and multivariate logistic regression. Group 2 had similar proportions of age >60 years and p53abn IHC with Group 1, but had fewer cases with advanced FIGO stage (P < 0.05) and TILs (P < 0.05). Groups 1 and 2 had worse disease-free survival (DFS) and disease-specific survival (DSS) than Group 3 (P < 0.01), while no significant difference was found between these two groups. HPV-negative status was a risk factor for both DFS (P < 0.05) and DSS (P < 0.01) in univariate but not multivariate Cox regression. CONCLUSIONS Joint detection of multiple technologies and evaluation of clinicopathological characteristics discriminate between HPV-independent and low-copy HPV-associated CSCC cases that present similar prognoses. Additional attention should be paid to these low-copy HPV-associated cases in clinical practice.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Advanced platelet-rich fibrin extract (APRFE) contains a high concentration of various cytokines that are helpful for improving stem cells repair function. OBJECTIVE However, the underlying mechanism of APRFE improving stem cell repairing is not clear. METHODS We produced APRFE by centrifuging fresh peripheral blood samples and isolated and identified human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs). The abundance of cytokines contained in APRFE was detected by the Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The ADMSCs treated with or without APRFE were collected for transcriptome sequencing. RESULTS Based on the sequencing data, the expression profiles were contracted. The differentially expressed genes and lncRNA (DEGs and DElncRNAs) were obtained using for the differential expression analysis. The lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA network was constructed based on the miRNet database. The further enrichment analysis results showed that the biological functions were mainly related to proliferation, differentiation, and cell-cell function. To explore the role of APRFE, the protein-protein interaction network was constructed among the cytokines included in APRFE and DEGs. Furthermore, we constructed the global regulatory network based on the RNAInter and TRRUST database. The pathways in the global regulatory network were considered as the core pathways. We found that the DEGs in the core pathways were associated with stemness scores. CONCLUSION In summary, we predicted that APRFE activated three pathways (tryptophan metabolism, mTOR signaling pathway, and adipocytokine signaling) to promote the proliferation and differentiation of ADMSCs. The finding may be helpful for guiding the application of ADMSCs in the clinic.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study used the revised nursing outcomes classification (NOC) outlined in our previous study, "Core nursing outcomes for otorhinolaryngology head-neck," for telephone follow-up of patients who had laryngeal carcinoma surgery in China. This randomized controlled trial aimed to compare nurse-led telephone follow-up according to the revised NOC with traditional telephone follow-up. METHODS A total of 100 postoperative patients were recruited from March 2018‒March 2020. Patients were randomly assigned to nurse-led telephone follow-up groups as either revised NOC follow-up (n = 51) or traditional follow-up (n = 49). The investigated outcomes included nursing outcomes, quality of life, and self-care abilities. RESULTS The baseline characteristics of patients were well balanced. We noted that improvements in nursing outcomes in the intervention group were significantly better than for those in the control group (P = 0.018), primarily regarding psychosocial health (P < 0.001) and health knowledge and behavior (P < 0.001). Moreover, patient outcomes in the intervention group were associated with greater improvements in quality of life than those in the control group (P < 0.001), especially for social conditions (P < 0.001), emotional health (P < 0.001), functional status (P < 0.001), and additional attention (P = 0.001). Finally, compared with the control group, significant improvements were observed in self-care abilities in the intervention group (P = 0.002), mainly regarding general self-care abilities (P = 0.016) and development self-care abilities (P < 0.001). CONCLUSION This study found that nurse-led telephone follow-up according to the revised NOC improved nursing outcomes, quality of life, and self-care abilities. TRIAL REGISTRATION ChiCTR2100045941.

Abstract
Background N-acetyltransferase 10 (NAT10), an abundant nucleolar protein with both lysine and RNA cytidine acetyltransferase activities, has been implicated in Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome and human cancer. We and others recently demonstrated that NAT10 is translocated from the nucleolus to the nucleoplasm after DNA damage, but the underlying mechanism remains unexplored. Methods The NAT10 and PARP1 knockout (KO) cell lines were generated using CRISPR-Cas9 technology. Knockdown of PARP1 was performed using specific small interfering RNAs targeting PARP1. Cells were irradiated with γ-rays using a 137Cs Gammacell-40 irradiator and subjected to clonogenic survival assays. Co-localization and interaction between NAT10 and MORC2 were examined by immunofluorescent staining and immunoprecipitation assays, respectively. PARylation of NAT10 and translocation of NAT10 were determined by in vitro PARylation assays and immunofluorescent staining, respectively. Results Here, we provide the first evidence that NAT10 underwent covalent PARylation modification following DNA damage, and poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1) catalyzed PARylation of NAT10 on three conserved lysine (K) residues (K1016, K1017, and K1020) within its C-terminal nucleolar localization signal motif (residues 983–1025). Notably, mutation of those three PARylation residues on NAT10, pharmacological inhibition of PARP1 activity, or depletion of PARP1 impaired NAT10 nucleoplasmic translocation after DNA damage. Knockdown or inhibition of PARP1 or expression of a PARylation-deficient mutant NAT10 (K3A) attenuated the co-localization and interaction of NAT10 with MORC family CW-type zinc finger 2 (MORC2), a newly identified chromatin-remodeling enzyme involved in DNA damage response, resulting in a decrease in DNA damage-induced MORC2 acetylation at lysine 767. Consequently, expression of a PARylation-defective mutant NAT10 resulted in enhanced cellular sensitivity to DNA damage agents. Conclusion Collectively, these findings indicate that PARP1-mediated PARylation of NAT10 is key for controlling its nucleoplasmic translocation and function in response to DNA damage. Moreover, our findings provide novel mechanistic insights into the sophisticated paradigm of the posttranslational modification-driven cellular response to DNA damage. Video Abstract

Abstract
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are believed to play important roles in mammalian spermatogenesis but the in vivo functions of single miRNAs in this highly complex developmental process remain unclear. Here, we report that miR-202, a member of the let-7 family, plays an important role in spermatogenesis by phenotypic evaluation of miR-202 knockout (KO) mice. Loss of miR-202 results in spermatocyte apoptosis and perturbation of the zygonema-to-pachynema transition. Multiple processes during meiosis prophase I including synapsis and crossover formation are disrupted, and inter-sister chromatid synapses are detected. Moreover, we demonstrate that Separase mRNA is a miR-202 direct target and provides evidence that miR-202 upregulates REC8 by repressing Separase expression. Therefore, we have identified miR-202 as a new regulating noncoding gene that acts on the established SEPARASE-REC8 axis in meiosis.

Abstract
Extracellular ATP (eATP) increases cytosolic free calcium ([Ca2+ ]cyt ) as a specific second messenger 'signature' through the plasma membrane DORN1/P2K1 receptor. Previous studies revealed a biphasic signature in Arabidopsis thaliana roots that is altered by inorganic phosphate (Pi) deprivation. The relationship between the two phases of the signature and possible wave formation have been tested as a function of Pi nutrition. The bioluminescent aequorin and intensiometric GCaMP3 reporters were used to resolve the spatial origin of the eATP [Ca2+ ]cyt signature in Arabidopsis root tips. Application of eATP only to the root apex allowed [Ca2+ ]cyt wave resolution without the confounding effects of eATP delivery by superfusion. The first apical millimetre of the root generates the first [Ca2+ ]cyt increase by eATP, regardless of nutritional status. The second increase occurs sub-apically in the root hair zone, has some autonomy and is significantly reduced in Pi-starved roots. A significant component of the Pi-replete signature does not require DORN1/P2K1, but Pi-starved roots appear to have an absolute requirement for that receptor. Application of eATP specifically to the root apex provides evidence for cell-to-cell propagation of a [Ca2+ ]cyt wave that diminishes sub-apically. The apex maintains a robust [Ca2+ ]cyt increase (even under Pi starvation) that is the basis of a propagative wave, with implications for the ability of the root's eATP signalling systems to signal systemically. Partial autonomy of the sub-apical region may be relevant to the perception of eATP from microbes. eATP-induced [Ca2+ ]cyt increase may not have always have an obligate requirement for DORN1/P2K1.

Abstract
Objective: To develop a suitable scale for assessing the public health safety literacy in residents in China. Methods: The initial scale of Chinese public health safety literacy was developed through theoretical conceptualization, item pooling, field verifying and item inclusion and exclusion. Then the initial scale was converted into an electronic questionnaire. A total of 2 809 residents from 4 provinces were randomly selected for field testing. Classical test theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT) were used for item reduction. SPSS 23.0 was used for exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and unidimensional testing. Package R 4.1.1 ltm and mirt were used for the analysis of the psychometric properties of items and generate the ICC, IIC and TIF. Results: The initial scale had 30 items (B1-B30), and the test took 9.8 s to complete one item averagely. According to the CTT, B2 was deleted due to coefficient of total correlation (CITC) <0.3 and the item-dimension correlation coefficient (IDCC) <0.4. B23 was deleted due to CITC<0.3, IDCC<0.4 and difficulty index (W) <0.2. B30 was deleted due to CITC<0.3 and W<0.2. The total Cronbach's α of the scale was 0.923 after deletion. EFA indicated that 14 items should be deleted due to lower factor loadings <0.7. EFA was conducted for remaining 13 items and 2 common factors were extracted, the factor loadings of all items were >0.7, the accumulated variance contribution of the 2 common factors was 63.361%, and the total Cronbach's α was 0.891, showing unidimensionality, IRT was used to test the remaining items. B14 and B20 were deleted due to discrimination coefficient (a) <0.3, difficulty threshold coefficient (b) ∉[-3,3], the small amount of information and the flat, crowded, non-monotonic ICC, and IIC. Finally, the Cronbach's α of the 11-itemed scale was 0.936 with TLI=0.97, CFI=0.99, and RMSEA=0.03. Conclusion: The final scale has good reliability, validity, discrimination, difficulty level and feasibility, and can be applied for the rapid assessment of public health safety literacy in China.

Abstract
Background PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors have significantly improved the outcomes of those patients with various malignancies. However, the incidence of adverse events also increased. This meta-analysis aims to systematically evaluate the risk of cardiovascular toxicity in patients treated with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. Materials and methods We searched PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library databases for all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing all-grade and grade 3-5 cardiovascular toxicity of single-agent PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors to placebo/chemotherapy, PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy to chemotherapy, or PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors combined with CTLA-4 inhibitors to single-agent immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and pooled our data in a meta-analysis stratified by tumor types and PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitors. The Mantel-Haenszel method calculated the odds ratio (OR) and its corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results A total of 50 trials were included in the analysis. Single-agent PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors increased the risk of all-grade cardiotoxicity compared with placebo (OR=2.11, 95%CI 1.02-4.36, P=0.04). Compared with chemotherapy, patients receiving PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy had a significant higher risk of all-grade (OR=1.53, 95%CI 1.18-1.99, P=0.001) and grade 3-5 cardiotoxicity (OR=1.63, 95%CI 1.11-2.39, P=0.01) cardiotoxicity, especially patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [all-grade cardiotoxicity (OR=1.97, 95%CI 1.14-3.41, P=0.02) and grade 3-5 cardiotoxicity (OR=2.15, 95%CI 1.08-4.27, P=0.03)]. Subgroup analysis showed that PD-1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy were associated with a higher risk of grade 3-5 cardiotoxicity (OR=2.08, 95%CI 1.18-3.66, P=0.01). Compared with placebo or chemotherapy, single-agent PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors did not increase the risk of all-grade of myocarditis, arrhythmia and hypertension. However, PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy increased the risk of all-grade arrhythmia (OR=1.63, 95%CI 1.07-2.46, P=0.02) [PD-L1 inhibitor-containing treatment (OR=1.75, 95%CI 1.09-2.80, P=0.02)], and the risk of all-grade hypertension (OR=1.34, 95%CI 1.02-1.77, P=0.04) and grade 3-5 hypertension (OR=1.54, 95%CI 1.10-2.15, P=0.01). Conclusions Our results suggest that single-agent PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors increase the risk of all-grade cardiotoxicity, PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy increase the risk of all-grade and grade 3-5 cardiotoxicity, especially in those patients treated with PD-1 inhibitor-containing treatment and those with NSCLC. In addition, PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy increase the risk of arrhythmia and hypertension. Therefore, this evidence should be considered when assessing the benefits and risks of PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors in treating malignancies. Abstract
Papillary proliferation of the endometrium (PPE) is subdivided based on the complexity of the papillae and the proliferation of lesions, and the complex group is considered to have an increased risk of concurrent/subsequent endometrial neoplasia. However, the current subdivision criteria fail to prove the equivalence of the quantity of simple papillae and structural complexity. In this study, we divided PPE of 207 cases from 2014 to 2022 into 3 groups according to structural complexity and proliferation degrees: Group 1 equaled to the simple PPE with a simple papillary structure and typical localized proliferation; group 2 had the simple structure similar to group 1 but occupy over 50% of the endometrial polyp or > 2 lesions in the surface of nonpolypoid endometrium; group 3 had the truly complex branching papillae despite of its proportion. Group 3 was implicated with significantly more concurrent endometrial neoplasia (EAH and carcinoma) compared with groups 1 and 2 (P < 0.01), while no difference was found between groups 1 and 2. In 128 cases with no concurrent endometrial abnormalities in the initial biopsy or curettage specimens, 4 cases presented endometrial neoplasia (3 carcinoma and 1 atypical hyperplasia) in the subsequent specimens, all of which presented PPE of group 3 but not group 1 or 2 in the prior tissues (P < 0.01). The immunochemistry of 83 cases showed similar expressions of ER, PTEN, ARID1A, PTEN, p16, β-catenin, and p53 between PPE and the surrounding normal endometrium. Nearly 100% of PPE cases lost expressions of PR. A total of 2/83 cases showing PAX2 expression were all in the group 3 and correlated with endometrial neoplasia (2/17, 11.76%, P < 0.05). 76/83 (91.57%) of PPE lesions had KRAS mutations, and the distributions of which were similar among 3 groups. The frequency of mucinous metaplasia was significantly higher in the PPE lesions with KRAS mutations (72/74, 97.30%, P < 0.01). Group 3 showed higher frequency of single KRAS mutations compared with the combination of groups 1 and 2 (P < 0.01). Finally, the concordance of KRAS mutation profiles between PPE and endometrial neoplasia was significantly higher in group 3 than either group 1 or 2 (P < 0.01), while no difference was found between group 1 and 2. Thus, a new 2-tier subdivision system only emphasizing the complexity of papillae is recommended, which might precisely predict the risk of endometrial neoplasia and neoplasia-related molecular characteristics.

Abstract
As a vital problem in reproductive health, recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) affects about 1% of women. We performed this study with an aim to explore the molecular mechanism of interleukin-23 (IL-23) and find optimal or effective methods to improve RSA. First, ELISA was applied to evaluate the expressions of IL-23 and its receptor in HTR-8/SVneo cells after IL-23 treatment. CCK-8, TUNEL, wound healing and transwell assays were employed to assess the proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion of HTR-8/SVneo cells, respectively. Additionally, the expressions of apoptosis-, migration-, epithelial-mesenchymal transition- (EMT-) and p38 MAPK signaling pathway-related proteins were measured by western blotting. To further investigate the relationship between IL-23 and p38 MAPK signaling pathway, HTR-8/SVneo cells were treated for 1 h with p38 MAPK inhibitor SB239063, followed by a series of cellular experiments on proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion, as aforementioned. The results showed that IL-23 and its receptors were greatly elevated in IL-23-treated HTR-8/SVneo cells. Additionally, IL-23 demonstrated suppressive effects on the proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion and EMT of IL-23-treated HTR-8/SVneo cells. More importantly, the molecular mechanism of IL-23 was revealed in this study; that is to say, IL-23 inhibited the proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion and EMT of IL-23-treated HTR-8/SVneo cells via activating p38 MAPK signaling pathway. In conclusion, IL-23 inhibits trophoblast proliferation, migration, and EMT via activating p38 MAPK signaling pathway, suggesting that IL-23 might be a novel target for the improvement of RSA.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Patients with head and neck cancer (HNC) usually experienced disfigurement, dysfunction, and psychosocial distress, leading to a decline in their quality of life. Physical activity (PA) is recommended for such patients. Despite the proven benefits of participating in PA, the compliance of patients with HNC is still poor. Hence, the factors influencing PA participation and adherence in patients with HNC need to be explored. OBJECTIVES This study aimed to (1) identify barriers and enablers of PA in adult patients living with HNC and (2) map barriers and facilitators to the Capability-Opportunity-Motivation-Behavior (COM-B) model. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Types of studies: Studies with qualitative, quantitative, and mixed designs were included in this review. TYPES OF PARTICIPANTS The current review takes into account patients with HNC aged 18 years or above. Types of interventions: This review considered all studies focusing on full-body PA. TYPES OF OUTCOMES This scoping review focused on studies examining health behavior, patients' compliance, and facilitators and/or barriers to PA engagement. Five databases (Ovid Medline, Ovid Embase, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, and PsycINFO) were searched following the methodology for scoping reviews from inception to July 2021. DATA EXTRACTION The extracted data included author(s)/year of publication, country, main purpose of the study, sample size/disease site and stage, methodology and methods, type of treatment, and main findings/barriers, or facilitators. RESULTS A total of 22 studies were finally selected. The top three barriers were physical-related issues, time pressures, and low motivation or interest. Most facilitators included perceived psychological, health, and social benefits and preference for the model of PA. The most frequent COM-B model components were physical capability, automatic motivation, and physical opportunity. CONCLUSIONS Patients with HNC have unique facilitators and barriers to participating in PA. Interventions must leverage facilitators and limit barriers to exercise so as to increase compliance with exercise. Future studies should test the effectiveness of behavioral change measures based on the factors influencing the COM-B model.

Abstract
A varifocal lens is an important part of optical systems with applications in biomedicine, photography, smartphones, and virtual reality. In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a varifocal liquid lens driven by a conical dielectric elastomer actuator. When the conical dielectric elastomer is subjected to an actuation voltage, the conical dielectric elastomer works as an out-plane actuator and makes the surface curvature of the liquid droplet increase; then the focal length of the proposed varifocal liquid lens changes. The overall dimensions of the proposed varifocal liquid lens are 9.4 mm in diameter and 12.5 mm in height. The focal length tuning range is 15.07mm∼9.50mm when the actuation voltage increases from 0 kV to 5.0 kV. The focal power variation of the proposed varifocal liquid lens is 35.5 D. The rise and fall times of the proposed varifocal liquid lens are 215 ms and 293 ms, respectively. The ability of the proposed liquid lens to focus on objects at different distances without any moving parts is demonstrated. The compact varifocal liquid lens driven by the conical dielectric elastomer actuator in the current study has the potential to be used in various compact imaging systems in the future.

Abstract
Cornus officinalis, a kind of edible herbal medicine, has been widely used in the protection of liver and kidney due to its medicinal and nutritional effect. Its anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and anti-oxidant activities can be enhanced by wine-steamed (WS) processing. Based on the activations of hepatic stellate cells-T6 (HSC-T6) and HK-2, our study used single-factor plus orthogonal design to investigate the anti-fibrosis of C. officinalis processed with steamed (S), high-pressure steamed (HPS), WS, high-pressure wine-steamed (HPWS), wine-dipped (WD), and wine-fried (WF). The chemical constituents in processed C. officinalis with higher anti-fibrotic activities were detected by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with hybrid triple quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS). Results showed that C. officinalis with HPWS significantly inhibited the activations of HSC-T6 and HK-2. Moreover, compounds in C. officinalis with HPWS were obtained via UHPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS, indicating that 27 components were changed compared with raw C. officinalis. These results demonstrated that HPWS is the optimal processing technology for anti-fibrosis of C. officinalis.
