A series of chiral cyano- and phenolate-bridged heterotrimetallic compounds have been obtained. The Dy and Tb derivatives exhibit similar single-molecule magnetic behaviors under a 1000 Oe dc field.

Abstract
Three thiacalix[4]arene-supported ferromagnetic NiII–LnIII complexes have been isolated. The dysprosium analogue exhibits field-induced SMM behavior and diamagnetic dilution can efficiently influence the dipole–dipole interaction between magnetic centers.
