Abstract
This review article addresses the antioxidant properties of different natural products, including ascorbic acid, gallic acid, oxalic acid, L-glutathione (GSH), bacteriorhodopsin, green tea polyphenols, glucose, hydroxycinnamic acid, ethanoic acid, betanin, and L-glutathione, in the reduction of graphene oxide (rGO). rGO can cause damage to cells, including oxidative stress and inflammation, limiting its application in different sectors that use graphene, such as technologies used in medicine and dentistry. The natural substances reviewed have properties that help reduce this damage, neutralizing free radicals and maintaining cellular integrity. This survey demonstrates that the combination of these antioxidant compounds can be an effective strategy to minimize the harmful effects of rGO and promote cellular health.

Abstract
Graphene, a 2D single-layered carbon sp2 hybrid substance set in a honeycomb network, is widespread in many carbon-based materials. Due to its extraordinary optical, electrical, thermal, mechanical, and magnetic competences as well as its significant specific surface area, it has attracted a lot of interest recently. Synthesizing graphene refers to any process for creating or extracting the material, depending on the desired purity, size, and efflorescence of the finished good. Numerous methods have been employed for graphene synthesis categorized as top-down procedures and bottom-up procedures. Graphene finds its implementations in various industries such as electronics, energy, chemical, transport, defence, and biomedical areas such as accurate biosensing. It has been widely used in water treatment as a binder for organic contaminants and heavy metals. Many researches have fixated on creating various modified graphene, graphene oxide composites, graphene nanoparticle composites and semiconductor hybrids of graphene for contaminant removal from water. In this review, we have tried to address various production methods for graphene and its composites along with their advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, we have presented a summary on graphene's outstanding immobilization of a variety of contaminants like toxic heavy metals, organic dyes, inorganic pollutants and pharmaceutical wastes. Additionally, a development of graphene-based microbial fuel cell (MFC) has been evaluated in an effort to produce ecological wastewater treatment and bioelectricity.

Abstract
The unique properties of graphene oxide (GO) have attracted the attention of the research community and cost-effective routes for its production are studied. The type and percentage of the oxygen groups that decorate a GO sheet are dependent on the synthesis path, and this path specifies the carbon content of the sheet. The chemical reduction of GO results in reduced graphene oxide (rGO) while the removal of the oxygen groups is also achievable with thermal processes (tpGO). This review article introduces the reader to the carbon allotropes, provides information about graphene which is the backbone of GO and focuses on GO synthesis and properties. The last part covers some characterization techniques of GO (XRD, FTIR, AFM, SEM-EDS, N2 porosimetry and UV-Vis) with a view to the fundamental principles of each technique. Some critical aspects arise for GO synthesized and characterized from our group.

Abstract
A reduced graphene oxide-copper sulfide-zinc sulfide (rGO-CuS-ZnS) hybrid nanocomposite was synthesized using a surfactant-free in-situ microwave technique. The in-situ microwave method was used to prepare 1-D ZnS nanorods and CuS nanoparticles decorated into the rGO nanosheets. The prepared hybrid nanocomposite catalysts were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, elemental mapping analysis, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The effectiveness of the synthesized rGO-CuS-ZnS hybrid nanocomposite (rGO-CZS HBNC) was estimated using an innovative cathode catalyst in microbial fuel cell (MFC). MFCs were fabricated differently such as SL (single-layer), DL (double-layer), and TL (triple-layer) loading. Followed using cyclic voltammetry and impedance analyses, the electrochemical evaluation of the prepared MFCs was evaluated. Among the fabricated MFCs, the DL MFCs with rGO-CuS-ZnS cathode catalyst displayed higher power density (1692 ± 15 mW/m2) and OCP (761 ± 9 mV) than the other catalysts loadings, such as SL and TL. rGO-CZS HBNC are potential cathode materials for MFC applications.
