Abstract
Pd0 catalysts featuring phosphorus‐based monodentate ligands can detour the reactivity of carbonyl‐tethered alkylidenecyclopropanes (ACPs) from standard (3+2) cycloadditions towards tandem cycloisomerization/cross‐coupling processes. This new reactivity lies on the formation of key π‐allyl oxapalladacyclic intermediates, which are subsequently trapped with external nucleophilic partners, instead of undergoing canonical C−O reductive eliminations. Importantly, the use of imine‐tethered ACP's is also feasible. Therefore, the method provides a straightforward and stereoselective entry to a wide variety of highly functionalized cyclic alcohols and amines.

Abstract
The stannum-ene reactions of both benzyne and cyclohexyne were realized, which is particularly suitable for cyclohexyne with a broad substrate scope and excellent chemoselectivity. Our DFT calculations via distortion/interaction analysis revealed that both stannum- and hydrogen-ene reactions with cyclohexyne have later transition states due to their higher distortion energies in the transition states than those in benzyne reactions, which lead to enhanced Pauli repulsion as the decisive factor in the interaction energy accompanied with enlarged energy gap between two types of ene reactions. Therefore, excellent chemoselectivity was disclosed in the cyclohexyne-ene reaction.

Abstract
The ligand-regulated regiodivergent hydroarylation of the distal double bond of allenamides with aryl boronic acid was achieved in the presence of palladium(II) catalysts, delivering a variety of functionalized enamide with excellent E selectivity and Markovnikov/anti-Markovnikov selectivity. Two possible coordination intermediates were proposed to be responsible for the regiodivergent hydroarylation: (1) The coordination Intermediate I, which was proposed to be formed through the coordination of MeCN, distal double bond, phenyl to palladium, led to the aryl group away from the Intermediate I, inducing excellent E selectivity and anti-Markovnikov selectivity. (2) A switch of regioselectivity to 1,2-Markovnikov hydroarylation was obtained using bidentate phosphine ligand (dppf or Xantphos). The formed coordination Intermediate II led to the N-tether away from the Intermediate II and at the trans position of aryl, resulting in excellent E selectivity and Markovnikov selectivity. Meanwhile, tentative investigation on the mechanism proved that the hydron source of this hydroarylation is more likely to be boronic acid. The transmetallation between aryl boronic acid and palladium catalyst was the initial step of this transformation.

Abstract
A palladium/norbornene cooperative catalyzed selective C-H bond amination of aryl iodides was explored, providing an efficient tool for constructing benzocyclic molecules. When ortho-substituted iodobenzene was involved, the C-H bond amination and following Heck cyclization efficiently delivered a 3-methyl-indole scaffold. On the other hand, we realized the controllable synthesis of monoaminated benzo-cyclobutanyl scaffold. The possible coordination of an installed terminal alkenyl group with palladium and steric hindrance were proposed to be responsible for the monoamination selectivity.

Abstract
An overview of the recent literature on palladium-catalyzed intramolecular Alder-ene (IMAE) reaction of a variety of 1,n-unsaturated systems is presented. The reaction which was first reported by Trost and Lautens provided an efficient alternative to the thermal or Lewis acid catalyzed cycloisomerizations involving ene-type reaction. The IMAE cyclization of enynes and dienes has emerged as an important area and found significant applications in building up of complex molecular architectures and in the synthesis of several bioactive natural products. Since highly impactful reviews on this subject have covered the literature till 2015, this article focuses on summarizing the works subsequent to 2015.

Abstract
Chiral phosphoric acid-catalyzed highly enantioselective formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of azoalkenes with 3-vinylindoles has been established. Under mild conditions, the projected cycloaddition proceeded smoothly, affording a variety of 2,3-dihydropyrroles in high yields and excellent enantioselectivities, and also in a diastereospecific manner. As opposed to the common 4-atom synthons in the previous literature reports, azoalkenes served as 3-atom synthons. Besides, the observed selectivity was supported by primary theoretical calculation. The unique chemistry of azoalkenes disclosed herein will empower asymmetric synthesis of nitrogen-containing ring structural motifs in a broader context. Chiral phosphoric acid catalyzed formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction 2,3-Dihydropyrroles were enantioselectively synthesized Azoalkenes served as 3-atom synthons

Abstract
A highly chemo- and regioselective [4 + 2] formal cycloaddition of (Z)-3-iodo allylic nucleophiles and allenamides catalyzed by palladium is reported. The methodology proceeds under mild reaction conditions and is tolerant of alkyl and aryl functional groups. The SN2' substitution at the proximal C[double bond, length as m-dash]C bond performed against the Heck or SN2 pathway delivered a variety of 2-amino-dihydropyrans and 2-amino-tetrahydropiperidines in moderate to satisfactory yields. The [4 + 2] formal cycloaddition derivatives are convertible to interesting scaffolds 2,6,7,7a-tetrahydropyrano[2,3-b]pyrrole and 2,6,7,7a-tetrahydro-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine derivatives via ring-closing metathesis (RCM) with Grubbs catalyst II.

Abstract
Stable, catalytically active palladium nanoparticles of various average diameters (1.9-7.4 nm) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction, spectroscopy, and microscopy techniques to demonstrate remarkable size-dependent and renewed catalytic activity toward the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction in green protocol. The catalytic activity is found to depend on the amount of the reducing agent, stabilizer-precursor ratio, solvent composition, and aryl halides used. The product obtained by this reaction is characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and IR spectroscopy analyses. A newly developed kinetic equation illustrates that while the catalyst particles of the lowest dimension are gradually exposed to the reactants and hence activated due to partial removal of capping polymer from the catalyst surface, others are deactivated due to agglomeration during the progress of the reaction, as conformed by the microscopic profiles of the used and unused catalysts.

Abstract
An efficient and practical one-pot multicomponent reaction of amines with alkyne esters and chalcones promoted by I2/PhI(OAc)2 has been developed under solvent-free ball-milling conditions to afford a variety of polysubstituted trans-2,3-dihydropyrroles in moderate to good yields. The present method features a short reaction time, mild reaction conditions, broad substrate scope, and feasibility of large-scale synthesis. Intriguingly, this protocol can also furnish the corresponding synthetically more attractive pyrroles with the addition of an oxidant in a one-pot way.
