Abstract
Tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) is easily overused or illegally added to edible oil and attracts a growing concern because of its cytotoxic, liver-damaging, and carcinogenic effects. Thus, a sensitive and intelligent point-of-care testing (iPOCT) method is developed to fulfill the on-site monitoring. This iPOCT method depended on a fluorescent immunochromatographic assay within 15 min. Under optimization, the limit of quantification (LOQ) was calculated as 0.03 μg mL-1. The iPOCT method provided a low limit of detection (LOD) of 0.02 μg mL-1, a wide linear range of 0.03-100 μg mL-1, and great selectivity. Recoveries by the spiking experiments ranged from 97.4% to 103.5% with relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 2.4%-4.9% in soybean, peanut, rapeseed, and corn oil samples. The results showed that the iPOCT method is highly consistent with the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method.

Abstract
Flupyradifurone (FPF) is a neonicotinoid insecticide that effectively controls the spread of various pests. In this study, we established an immunochromatographic assay based on a highly specific and sensitive anti-FPF monoclonal antibody (mAb) to screen for FPF residues in grapes, blueberries, and tomatoes. The cut-off value for the immunochromatographic assay was 5 mg/kg for grapes and 10 mg/kg for blueberries and tomatoes. The calculated limit of detection of the immunochromatographic assay was 0.009 mg/kg, 0.033 mg/kg, and 0.040 mg/kg for grapes, blueberries, and tomatoes, respectively. The recovery rates of the immunochromatographic assay were 97.0-108.2 % in grape samples, 90.9-105.1 % in blueberry samples, and 94.0-103.7 % in tomato samples, and the detection results were highly consistent with LC-MS/MS results. Therefore, this immunochromatographic assay was an effective and rapid tool for screening for FPF in grapes, blueberries, and tomatoes.

Abstract
Benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is a commonly used flour whitener, but its excessive usage can have adverse effects on human health, such as nutrient loss, vitamin deficiencies and certain diseases. In this study, a europium metal organic framework (Eu-MOF) fluorescence probe was prepared, which exhibited a strong fluorescence emission at 614 nm upon excitation at 320 nm, with a high quantum yield of 8.11%. The red fluorescence of the probe could be effectively quenched by BPO through the inner filter effect (IFE) and photoinduced electron transfer (PET) mechanism. The detection process offered several advantages, including a wide linear range of 0-0.95 mM, a low detection limit of 66 nM and a fast fluorescence response of 2 min. Furthermore, an intelligent detection platform was designed to enhance the practical application of the detection method. This platform combined the portability and visuality of a traditional test strip with the color recognition capability of a smartphone, allowing for the visualization and quantitative detection of BPO in a convenient and user-friendly manner. The detection platform was successfully applied to the analysis of BPO in real flour samples with satisfactory recoveries (99.79%-103.94%), suggesting a promising strategy for the rapid and on-site detection of BPO in food samples.

Abstract
tert-Butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) is a novel synthetic antioxidant with a higher safety profile and antioxidant effect that is more excellent than other synthetic antioxidants and is internationally recognized as one of the best food antioxidants. However, its excessive use in food can have unfavorable effects on the human body. Thus, it is critical to establish a rapid method for the detection of TBHQ in food samples. In this study, a cobalt-based metal-organic framework (Co-MOF) was fabricated by a one-pot hydrothermal method and embedded in multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to construct an economical and sensitive electrochemical sensor for TBHQ. The results showed that this sensor possessed a wide linear range (0.004-20 μM and 20-300 μM), a low limit of detection (LOD = 2.5 nM, S/N = 3) as well as an ultra-high sensitivity (43.19 μA μM-1 cm-2). Moreover, the sensor also has superior selectivity, repeatability, reproducibility and anti-interference ability and can be successfully applied for the detection of TBHQ in samples of instant noodles and potato chips.

Abstract
In this study, we synthesized two haptens similar in structure to nitrofen (NIT), and screened out five monoclonal antibodies with the ability to recognize NIT and bifenox (BIF) by competitive ELISA, with the lowest IC50 values of 0.87 ng mL-1 and 0.86 ng mL-1, respectively. The antibody 5G7 was selected to be combined with colloidal gold to establish a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay strip. This method was shown to qualitatively and quantitatively detect the residues of NIT and BIF in fruit samples. The visual limits of detection for qualitative detection were 5 μg kg-1 and 10 μg kg-1 for NIT and BIF, respectively. The calculated limits of detection for quantitative detection were 0.75 μg kg-1, 1.77 μg kg-1 and 2.55 μg kg-1 respectively, for nitrofen in orange, apple and grapes, and 3.54 μg kg-1, 4.96 μg kg-1 and 5.26 μg kg-1, respectively, for bifenox. Thus the strip assay could be used for rapid analysis of fruit samples.

Abstract
Chlordimeform (CDM) is a broad-spectrum and highly effective insecticide and acaricide used to control pests in agriculture. We produced two monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against CDM and developed an immunochromatographic assay to screen CDM in cucumbers and tomatoes. MAb 4A3 had high sensitivity with a 50% inhibitory concentration of 0.287 ng mL-1. The assay had a cut-off value of 25 μg kg-1 and a visual limit of detection (vLOD) of 1 μg kg-1 in cucumbers and a cut off value of 50 μg kg-1 and a vLOD of 2.5 μg kg-1 in tomatoes. The calculated limit of detection (cLOD) in cucumbers and tomatoes was 0.115 μg kg-1 and 0.215 μg kg-1, respectively. The recovery rates were 97.9% to 106.9% for cucumbers and 97.8% to 107.4% for tomatoes, consistent with the results obtained from indirect competitive ELISA. Our findings showed that the immunochromatographic assay is an efficient and accurate method for CDM detection in cucumbers and tomatoes.

Abstract
The synthetic antibiotics fluoroquinolones are popular due to their good antibacterial performance and low price, but the risk to human health caused by their residues has attracted great attention. In this study, an ultra-sensitive mAb, 4D7, was prepared with an IC50 of 0.027 ng mL-1 to norfloxacin (NOR) and cross-reactivity of 19.7-47.7% to lomefloxacin (LOM), pefloxacin (PEF), ofloxacin (OFL), enrofloxacin (ENR), ciprofloxacin (CIP), and danofloxacin (DAN). Based on mAb 4D7 and Eu-fluorescent microspheres, a rapid and sensitive immunochromatographic strip was developed for the detection of fluoroquinolone residues in fish and milk. The detection ranges (IC20-IC80) of the strip for the detection of NOR, PEF, LOM, OFL, ENR, CIP and DAN were 0.19-1.1 μg kg-1, 0.39-2.1 μg kg-1, 0.5-2.6 μg kg-1, 0.43-3.3 μg kg-1, 0.61-3.5 μg kg-1, 0.69-5.5 μg kg-1, 0.52-3.4 μg kg-1 in fish, and 0.027-0.19 μg kg-1, 0.049-0.34 μg kg-1, 0.069-0.39 μg kg-1, 0.06-0.41 μg kg-1, 0.089-0.65 μg kg-1, 0.12-0.81 μg kg-1, 0.091-0.52 μg kg-1 in milk, respectively. The recovery rates in spiked sample tests were 88.6-113.6% with a coefficient of variation less than 8.4%. Thus the newly-developed strip was sensitive and reliable for rapid on-site detection of fluoroquinolone residues in fish and milk.

Development of a broad-specific immunochromatographic assay for the screening of diclofenac and its analogs in health tea and health beverages. FOOD BIOSCI 2022. Abstract
A mAb-based lateral flow immunochromatographic strip for the detection of anthranilic diamides in vegetables and fruits was developed. The strip provided cut-off values of 2.5, 5, 10, and 10 ng g−1 for CHL, CYA, CYC, and TEA, respectively.
