Abstract
OBJECTIVE The mini Social cognition & Emotional Assessment (mini-SEA) is a social cognition battery which assesses theory of mind and emotion recognition. Currently, no psychometrically validated measure of social cognition with adapted normative data exists for the middle-aged and elderly French-Quebec population. This project aims to determine the known-group discriminant validity of a cultural and linguistic adaptation of the mini-SEA between cognitively healthy people, those with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or living with Alzheimer's Disease (AD). This study also aims to examine the stability of mini-SEA's performance over a 3-4-month time period, as well as to produce normative data for French-Quebec people aged 50 years. Normative data are derived for the full and an abbreviated version of the Faux Pas subtest. METHOD The sample included 211 French-speaking participants from Quebec (Canada) aged 50 to 89 years. Mini-SEA's performance between a sub-sample of cognitively healthy people (n = 20), those with MCI (n = 20) or with AD (n = 20) was compared. A sub-sample of cognitively healthy people (n = 30) performed the task twice to estimate test-retest reliability. Socio-demographic variables' effects on scores were examined to produce normative data in the form of regression equations or percentile ranks. RESULTS Significant differences emerged between cognitively healthy people and those with MCI or AD. Moreover, scores were relatively stable over a period of 3 to 4 months. Finally, for the normative data, age, gender, and education were associated with performance on the mini-SEA or its subtests. CONCLUSIONS This study improves and standardizes social cognition's assessment among French-Quebec individuals, which will help characterize their cognitive profile.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To generate normative data for the Verbal Fluency Test (VFT) and the Boston Naming Test (BNT) in the Costa Rican population. METHOD The sample consisted of 563 healthy older people (aged 59-90 years). Polynomial multiple regression analyses were run to evaluate the effects of the age, sex, and education variables on VFT and BNT scores. RESULTS The results showed a significant linear effect of education on the four-letter VF scores and an effect of sex on the letter P score, with females performing better than males. The explained variance ranged from 20.9% to 28.3%. A linear effect of age and education was also found for the four semantic VF scores, with scores decreasing with increasing age and lower education. The sex variable was significant for all semantic categories, with females performing better than males except in the animal category. The explained variance ranged from 21.7% to 30.9%. In the BNT, a linear effect of education was found, so that the more education, the better the score. In addition, a sex effect was also found, with males having higher scores than females. The predictors of the model explained 9.6% of the variance. CONCLUSIONS This is the first study that generates normative data for the VF and BNT in the Costa Rican population over 59 years of age based on demographic variables. The use of these normative data will help clinicians in Costa Rica to better understand language functioning in the elderly, allowing for better classification and diagnosis in the future.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To quantify the evolution, impact, and importance of normative data (ND) calculation by identifying trends in the research literature and what approaches need improvement. METHODS A PRISMA-guideline systematic review was performed on literature from 2000 to 2022 in PubMed, Pub-Psych, and Web of Science. Inclusion criteria included scientific articles about ND in neuropsychological tests with clear data analysis, published in any country, and written in English or Spanish. Cross-sectional and longitudinal studies were included. Bibliometric analysis was used to examine the growth, productivity, journal dispersion, and impact of the topic. VOSViewer compared keyword co-occurrence networks between 1952-1999 and 2000-2022. RESULTS Four hundred twelve articles met inclusion and exclusion criteria. The most studied predictors were age, education, and sex. There were a greater number of studies/projects focusing on adults than children. The Verbal Fluency Test (12.7%) was the most studied test, and the most frequently used variable selection strategy was linear regression (49.5%). Regression-based approaches were widely used, whereas the traditional approach was still used. ND were presented mostly in percentiles (44.2%). Bibliometrics showed exponential growth in publications. Three journals (2.41%) were in the Core Zone. VOSViewer results showed small nodes, long distances, and four ND-related topics from 1952 to 1999, and there were larger nodes with short connections from 2000 to 2022, indicating topic spread. CONCLUSIONS Future studies should be conducted on children's ND, and alternative statistical methods should be used over the widely used regression approaches to address limitations and support growth of the field.

Abstract
Professional challenges have been documented in broad surveys of neuropsychologists. While previous surveyors have included pediatric neuropsychologists, few, if any, have specifically examined practices among those who primarily work in pediatric inpatient rehabilitation settings. Therefore, the aim of this study was to survey neuropsychologists in this setting. Thirty neuropsychologists from the U.S. and one from Canada that work in inpatient pediatric rehabilitation participated in an online survey. Most respondents (83.3%) billed for their inpatient time. Sixty-four percent indicated that payor type (private vs. public) affected services a moderate amount to a lot; this was primarily due to payor's influence on length of stay. Most providers had productivity expectations (66.7%). Among those that had productivity expectations, three-quarters used "hours billed;" 37.5% were solely or additionally tracked by relative value units (RVUs). The majority of respondents conducted some type of clinical data collection, usually for research purposes. With respect to professional identity, most respondents indicated positivity about their role. The top challenges endorsed were related to workload/ability to meet the patients' needs and billing/productivity. Issues related to billing and payor may influence aspects of pediatric inpatient rehabilitation neuropsychological care. Managing challenges related to billing and the time demands associated with providing inpatient services were top concerns for many respondents. Most sites surveyed were involved in data collection, usually for research purposes; increased data collection efforts are needed to aid with program development and evaluation and to demonstrate the added value of neuropsychological services from a patient care perspective.
