Abstract
The 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(2,6-difluoro-3-sulfophenyl)porphyrin (TDFPPS4) was reported as a potential photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy. The capacity of the photosensitizers to be carried in the human bloodstream is predominantly determined by its extension of binding, binding location, and binding mechanism to human serum albumin (HSA), influencing its biodistribution and ultimately its photodynamic therapy efficacy in vivo. Thus, the present work reports a biophysical characterization on the interaction between the anionic porphyrin TDFPPS4 and HSA by UV-visible absorption, circular dichroism, steady-state, time-resolved, and synchronous fluorescence techniques under physiological conditions, combined with molecular docking calculations and molecular dynamics simulations. The interaction HSA:TDFPPS4 is spontaneous (ΔG° < 0), strong, and enthalpically driven (ΔH° = -70.1 ± 3.3 kJ mol-1) into subdomain IIA (site I). Curiously, despite the porphyrin binding into an internal pocket, about 50 % of TDFPPS4 structure is still accessible to the solvent, making aggregation in the bloodstream possible. In silico calculations were reinforced by spectroscopic data indicating porphyrin aggregation between bound and unbound porphyrins. This results in an adverse scenario for anionic porphyrins to achieve their therapeutical potential as photosensitizers and control of effective dosages. Finally, a trend of anionic porphyrins to have a combination of quenching mechanisms (static and dynamic) was noticed.

Abstract
Sudan III is a coloring agent used in chemical industries and food additives. This article uses spectroscopic and molecular docking methods to investigate the interaction of Sudan III with bovine serum albumin (BSA) under a physiological condition. Spectroscopic analysis of the emission quenching revealed that the quenching mechanism of BSA by Sudan III was static. The binding sites and constants of Sudan III-BSA complex were observed to be from 0.72 and 6.41 × 102 L·mol-1 to 0.69 and 5.83 × 102 L·mol-1 at 298 and 310 K, respectively. The enthalpy change (ΔH) and entropy change (ΔS) revealed that van der Waals forces and hydrogen bonds stabilized the Sudan III-BSA complex. Energy transfer from tryptophan to Sudan III occurred by a fluorescence resonance energy transfer mechanism, and the r distance (3.32 nm) had been determined. The results of UV-Vis absorption, synchronous, three-dimensional fluorescence, and circular dichroism spectra showed that Sudan III induced conformational changes of BSA. Molecular docking studies revealed that Sudan III situated within subdomain IIA of BSA. A study on the interaction between Sudan III and BSA was of fundamental importance for providing more information about the potential toxicological effect of chemicals at the molecular level.

Abstract
The flow-injection chemiluminescence (FI-CL) behavior of a gold nanocluster (Au NC)-enhanced rhodamine B-KMnO4 system was studied under alkaline conditions for the first time. In the present study, the as-prepared bovine serum albumin-stabilized Au NCs showed excellent stability and reproducibility. The addition of trace levels of fluvoxamine maleate (Flu) led to an obvious decline in CL intensity in the rhodamine B-KMnO4 -Au NCs system, which could be used for quantitative detection of Flu. Under optimized conditions, the proposed CL system exhibited a favorable analytical performance for Flu determination in the range 2 to 100 μg ml-1 . The detection limit for Flu measurement was 0.021 μg ml-1 . Moreover, this newly developed system revealed outstanding selectivity for Flu detection when compared with a multitude of other species, such as the usual ions, uric acid and a section of hydroxy compounds. Additionally, CL spectra, UV-visible spectroscopes and fluorescence spectra were measured in order to determine the possible reaction mechanism. This approach could be used to detect Flu in human urine and human serum samples with the desired recoveries and could have promising application under physiological conditions.

Abstract
The present study deals with first attempt to introduce safranin O as the fluorophore for peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence system. The reaction of bis-(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl) oxalate (TCPO) with H2O2 catalyzed by silver nanoparticles can transfer energy to safranin O via the formation of dioxetanedione intermediate and emits orange-red light. The relationship between CL intensity and the concentration of TCPO, fluorophore, hydrogen peroxide and nanocatalyst was investigated. The Ag nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical reduction method and characterized using scanning electron microscopy, particle size analyzer and UV-spectroscopy. Moreover, the system was applied successfully to detect a drug, 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) in pharmaceuticals. Under optimum conditions, a linear working range for 6-MP concentrations from 5.5 × 10(-7) to 5.5 × 10(-5)mol L(-1) (r>0.9831, n=6) was obtained with a detection limit of 1.6 × 10(-7)mol L(-1). The relative standard deviation for 6 repetitive determinations was less than 3.8% and recoveries of 98% and 103% were obtained.

The enthalpy change (ΔH) and entropy change (ΔS) revealed that van der Waals forces and hydrogen bonds stabilized the pyrene-BSA complex. Energy transfer from tryptophan to pyrene occurred by a FRET (fluorescence resonance energy transfer) mechanism, and the distance (r=2.72 nm) had been determined. The results of synchronous, three-dimensional fluorescence, and circular dichroism spectra showed that the pyrene induced conformational changes of BSA.
