Abstract
A total of 300 research participants-200 consecutive patients diagnosed with dyslipidemia (100 statin (+), treated for at least five years, and 100 statin (-)) and 100 healthy controls-were included in this observational study. The aim of the study was to deliver insights into the relationship between the long-term use of statins for dyslipidemia and gallstone disease (GSD), as well as insights into the background particularities of the gut microbiota. All study participants underwent clinical examination, laboratory workups, stool microbiology/stool 16S r RNA, next-generation sequencing, and abdominal ultrasound/CT exams. Results: The research participants presented with similarities related to age, gender, and location. Patients displayed comparable heredity for GSs, metabolic issues, and related co-morbidities. Gut dysbiosis (DB) was present in 54% of the statin (-) patients vs. 35% of the statin (+) patients (p = 0.0070). GSs were present in 14% of patients in the statin (-) group vs. 5% of patients in the statin (+) group (p = 0.0304). Severe dysbiosis, with a significant reduction in biodiversity, an increase in LPS (+) bacteria, and a notable decrease in mucin-degrading bacteria, mucosa-protective bacteria, and butyrate-producing bacteria were observed in the statin (-) group. Strong positive correlations between GSD and diabetes/impaired glucose tolerance (r = 0.3368, p = 0.0006), obesity (r = 0.3923, p < 0.0001), nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (r = 0.3219, p = 0.0011), and DB (r = 0.7343, p < 0.0001), as well as significant negative correlations between GSD and alcohol use (r = -0.2305, p = 0.0211), were observed. The multiple regression equation demonstrated that only DB (95% CI: 0.3163 to 0.5670; p < 0.0001) and obesity (95% CI: 0.01431 to 0.2578; p = 0.0289) were independent risk factors predicting GSD in the group of patients treated with statins. Conclusion: The long-term use of statins in dyslipidemic patients was associated with a low risk of developing GSs. The gut microbiota associated with a long-term use of statins in dyslipidemic patients was characterized by a low risk of developing an imbalance of various functional bacteria and alterations in the metabolic microbiota. DB and obesity were found to be independent risk factors predicting GSD in statin (+) patients.

Abstract
Background Exposure to a mixture of environmental chemicals may cause gallstone, but the evidence remains equivocal. The current study aims to investigate the association between phthalate metabolites and gallstones, and to explore their mediators. Methods Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2017-2018 on U.S. adults (≥20 years) were analyzed to explore the association between phthalate metabolites and gallstones by employed survey-weighted logistic regression, restricted cubic spline (RCS), weighted quantile sum (WQS) regression, and Bayesian kernel machine regression (BKMR). Mediation analyses examined the role of oxidative stress markers, inflammatory markers, metabolic syndrome, body composition, diabetes, and insulin. Results The current study included 1,384 participants, representing 200.6 million U.S. adults. Our results indicated a significant association between phthalate metabolites, particularly high molecular weight metabolites such as Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 1,2-Cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid diisononyl ester (DINCH), and gallstones. Furthermore, mediation analyses indicated that phthalate metabolites may play a role in the development of gallstones by influencing insulin secretion. Subgroup analyses did not reveal significant interaction. Conclusion The association between exposure to phthalates and the occurrence of gallstones, potentially mediated by hyperinsulinemia from a nationally representative epidemiological perspective. These insights contribute to a better understanding of the potential health implications of plasticizers, emphasizing the need for proactive management measures.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The prevalence and risk factors of cholelithiasis in individuals with severe or profound intellectual and motor disabilities (SPIMD) are poorly characterised. Thus, we aimed to investigate the prevalence and risk determinants of cholelithiasis in a cohort with SPIMD under medical care in a residential facility. METHODS We categorised 84 patients in a residential hospital for persons with SPIMD into groups: those with (Group CL) and without (Group N) cholelithiasis. Gallstones were detected via computed tomography, ultrasonography or both. We evaluated gastrostomy status, nutritional and respiratory support, constipation, and bladder and kidney stones. Data were significantly analysed using univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses. RESULTS The prevalence rate of cholelithiasis in our SPIMD cohort was 27%. There were no significant differences in sex, age, weight, height, or Gross Motor Function Classification System between the two groups. However, more patients received enteral nutrition (39.13% vs. 6.56%; P = 0.000751) and were on ventilator support (56.52% vs. 19.67%; P = 0.00249) in Group CL than in Group N. Enteral nutrition [odds ratio (OR) 10.4, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.98-54.7] and ventilator support (OR 20.0, 95% CI 1.99-201.0) were identified as independent risk factors for the prevalence of cholelithiasis in patients with SPIMD. CONCLUSIONS Patients with SPIMD demonstrated an increased prevalence of cholelithiasis, with a notable association between nutritional tonic use and respiratory support. Therefore, to emphasise the need for proactive screening, it is crucial to devise diagnostic and therapeutic strategies specific to patients with SPIMD. Further investigation is essential to validate our findings and explore causative factors.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Gallstones are common lesions that often require surgical intervention. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the treatment of choice for symptomatic gallstones. Preoperatively, the anatomical morphology of the cystic duct (CD), needs to be accurately recognized, especially when anatomical variations occur in the CD, which is otherwise prone to bile duct injury. However, at present, there is no optimal classification system for CD morphology applicable in clinical practice, and the relationship between anatomical variations in CDs and gallstones remains to be explored. AIM To create a more comprehensive clinically applicable classification of the morphology of CD and to explore the correlations between anatomic variants of CD and gallstones. METHODS A total of 300 patients were retrospectively enrolled from October 2021 to January 2022. The patients were divided into two groups: The gallstone group and the nongallstone group. Relevant clinical data and anatomical data of the CD based on magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) were collected and analyzed to propose a morphological classification system of the CD and to explore its relationship with gallstones. Multivariate analysis was performed using logistic regression analyses to identify the independent risk factors using variables that were significant in the univariate analysis. RESULTS Of the 300 patients enrolled in this study, 200 (66.7%) had gallstones. The mean age was 48.10 ± 13.30 years, 142 (47.3%) were male, and 158 (52.7%) were female. A total of 55.7% of the patients had a body mass index (BMI) ≥ 24 kg/m2. Based on the MRCP, the CD anatomical typology is divided into four types: Type I: Linear, type II: n-shaped, type III: S-shaped, and type IV: W-shaped. Univariate analysis revealed differences between the gallstone and nongallstone groups in relation to sex, BMI, cholesterol, triglycerides, morphology of CD, site of CD insertion into the extrahepatic bile duct, length of CD, and angle between the common hepatic duct and CD. According to the multivariate analysis, female, BMI (≥ 24 kg/m2), and CD morphology [n-shaped: Odds ratio (OR) = 10.97, 95% confidence interval (95%CI): 5.22-23.07, P < 0.001; S-shaped: OR = 4.43, 95%CI: 1.64-11.95, P = 0.003; W-shaped: OR = 7.74, 95%CI: 1.88-31.78, P = 0.005] were significantly associated with gallstones. CONCLUSION The present study details the morphological variation in the CD and confirms that CD tortuosity is an independent risk factor for gallstones.

Abstract
Background and Aims Cholelithiasis etiology intricately involves lipid metabolism. We sought to investigate the plausible causal link between genetically proxied lipid-lowering medications-specifically HMGCR inhibitors, PCSK9 inhibitors, and NPC1L1 inhibitors-and cholelithiasis risk. Methods Our study utilized two genetic instruments for exposure to lipid-lowering drugs. These instruments encompassed genetic variants linked to low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol within or in proximity to drug target genes, along with loci governing gene expression traits of these targets. Effect estimates were derived through Inverse-variance-weighted MR (IVW-MR) and summary-data-based MR (SMR) methods. Results Higher HMGCR-mediated LDL cholesterol levels (IVW-MR, OR = 2.15, 95% CI = 1.58-2.94; P = 0.000) and increased HMGCR expression (SMR, OR = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.04-1.37; P = 0.014) are linked to elevated cholelithiasis risk, suggesting potential benefits of HMGCR inhibition. In contrast, higher PCSK9-mediated LDL cholesterol levels (IVW-MR, OR = 0.72, 95% CI = 0.56-0.94; P = 0.015) and increased PCSK9 expression (SMR, OR = 0.90, 95% CI = 0.82-0.99; P = 0.035) both correlate with lower cholelithiasis risk, indicating that PCSK9 inhibition may elevate this risk. Nevertheless, no substantial link emerged between NPC1L1-mediated LDL cholesterol or NPC1L1 expression and cholelithiasis in both IVW-MR and SMR analyses. Conclusion This MR investigation affirms the causal link between the utilization of HMGCR inhibitors and a diminished risk of cholelithiasis. Additionally, it indicates a causal link between PCSK9 inhibitors use and increased cholelithiasis risk. However, no significant correlation was found between NPC1L1 inhibitors use and cholelithiasis risk.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Metabolic (dysfunction) associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) and gallstone disease are entities that share similar risk factors. Numerous publications confirm their elevated frequency, but few studies have considered their prevalence and possible association. AIMS To determine the prevalence of MAFLD in patients with gallstone disease and the usefulness of liver biopsy for diagnosing the liver disease. MATERIALS AND METHODS A prospective study was conducted on patients that underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy, in whom liver biopsy was performed. VARIABLES ANALYZED Anthropometric characteristics, biochemical profile, conventional ultrasound, risk factors, and histopathologic study of the liver biopsy. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS Descriptive statistics were carried out for the quantitative variables and the Student's t test and multivariate analysis through binary logistic regression were employed for the continuous variables, utilizing IBM-SPSS, 25.0 (Windows) software. RESULTS A total of 136 patients were classified into 2 groups: 40 (29.41%) with normal liver and 96 (70.59%) with MAFLD. Of the 136 patients, 71 patients (52.21%) corresponded to hepatic steatosis, 21 (15.44%) to steatohepatitis, and 4 (2.94%) to cirrhosis. Perisinusoidal inflammation was found in 39 cases (28.68%) and fibrosis was found in 10 (7.35%). The risk factors for both groups were age, diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity. Glucose, triglyceride, and aminotransferase levels were significantly higher in the MAFLD group and conventional ultrasound demonstrated moderate concordance for its detection. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS The results confirmed the elevated frequency of MAFLD associated with gallstone disease, justifying liver biopsy during cholecystectomy for diagnosing MAFLD.

Abstract
Gallbladder disease is one of the most common gastrointestinal tract diseases. In obstructive jaundice, there is a reduction in bile flow out of the liver secondary to the blocked bile or pancreatic duct, which leads to excess bile and its products accumulating in the blood. One of these products is lipoprotein X (LpX); its presence is associated with a lipoprotein pattern characterized by an increased concentration of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol. Few published articles have reported the association between obstructive jaundice and hyperlipidemia. This report describes a unique case of a Saudi female patient diagnosed with obstructive jaundice, presenting with extreme hypercholesterolemia, which was reduced significantly 1 week after endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Correct recognition and investigation of the lipid profile are important for differentiating LpX-mediated hypercholesterolemia caused by obstructive jaundice from other causes of elevated LDL concentrations. Differentiation may affect the patient's therapeutic management.

Abstract
BACKGROUND TikTok was an important channel for consumers to access and adopt health information. But the quality of health content in TikTok remains underinvestigated. OBJECTIVE Our study aimed to identify upload sources, contents, and feature information of gallstone disease videos on TikTok and further evaluated the factors related to video quality. METHODS We investigated the first 100 gallstone-related videos on TikTok and analyzed these videos' upload sources, content, and characteristics. The quality of videos was evaluated using quantitative scoring tools such as DISCERN instrument, the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, and Global Quality Scores (GQS). Moreover, the correlation between video quality and video characteristics, including duration, likes, comments, and shares, was further investigated. RESULTS According to video sources, 81% of the videos were posted by doctors. Furthermore, disease knowledge was the most dominant video content, accounting for 56% of all the videos. The mean DISCERN, JAMA, and GQS scores of all 100 videos are 39.61 (SD 11.36), 2.00 (SD 0.40), and 2.76 (SD 0.95), respectively. According to DISCERN and GQS, gallstone-related videos' quality score on TikTok is not high, mainly at fair (43/100, 43%,) and moderate (46/100, 46%). The total DISCERN scores of doctors were significantly higher than that of individuals and news agencies, surgery techniques were significantly higher than lifestyle and news, and disease knowledge was significantly higher than news, respectively. DISCERN scores and video duration were positively correlated. Negative correlations were found between DISCERN scores and likes and shares of videos. In GQS analysis, no significant differences were found between groups based on different sources or different contents. JAMA was excluded in the video quality and correlation analysis due to a lack of discrimination and inability to evaluate the video quality accurately. CONCLUSIONS Although the videos of gallstones on TikTok are mainly provided by doctors and contain disease knowledge, they are of low quality. We found a positive correlation between video duration and video quality. High-quality videos received low attention, and popular videos were of low quality. Medical information on TikTok is currently not rigorous enough to guide patients to make accurate judgments. TikTok was not an appropriate source of knowledge to educate patients due to the low quality and reliability of the information.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Obesity has been identified as an independent risk factor for cholelithiasis. As a treatment for obesity, bariatric surgery may increase the incidence of cholelithiasis. The risk factors for cholelithiasis after bariatric surgery remain uncertain. The purpose of this study was to explore the risk factors for postoperative cholelithiasis after weight-loss surgery and propose suggestions for clinical decision making. METHODS Four databases, PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science and Cochrane, were systematically searched for all reports about cholelithiasis after bariatric surgery, and literature screening was performed following prespecified inclusion criteria. The included studies were all evaluated for quality according to the NOS scale. Data extraction was followed by analysis using Reviewer Manager 5.4 and StataSE 15. RESULTS A total of 19 articles were included in this meta-analysis, and all studies were of high quality. A total of 20,553 patients were included in this study. Sex [OR = 0.62, 95% CI (0.55, 0.71), P < 0.00001] and race [OR = 1.62, 95% CI (1.19, 2.19), P = 0.002] were risk factors for cholelithiasis after bariatric surgery. Surgical procedure, preoperative BMI, weight-loss ratio, smoking, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and dyslipidemia were neither protective nor risk factors for cholelithiasis after bariatric surgery. CONCLUSION Caucasian race and female sex are risk factors for developing cholelithiasis after bariatric surgery; surgical procedure, BMI, weight loss ratio, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, and smoking are not risk factors for cholelithiasis after bariatric surgery.

Abstract
Background There is a heavy burden of gallstone disease on the world’s population. The incidence and severity of symptomatic cholelithiasis increase with age. There is often a delay in presentation, leading to complicated disease, diagnostic delay, and increased morbidity. There is a paucity of studies on the presentation and management of cholelithiasis in elderly persons from the western part of India. This study aimed to observe the spectrum of presentation and management of symptomatic cholelithiasis in senior citizens. Objectives The primary objective of this study was to describe the presentation, diagnosis and intraoperative findings of symptomatic gallstone disease (GSD) in patients aged over 60 years. The secondary objectives of this study were to find the association of GSD with age, sex, and comorbidities, including diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and thyroid disorders. Methods All patients above the age of 60 years presenting to the surgical outpatient and emergency departments from January 2020 to July 2021 with symptomatic GSD were included. Details of history, physical examination, blood investigations, and imaging of the abdomen (ultrasonography and Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreaticography, when indicated) were recorded. Patients were managed as per the advice of the treating consultant. Details of management and outcomes, including hospital stay, mortality, and morbidity, were noted. The descriptive data were organised into tables and percentages. The significance of various data and relationships between various variables was analysed using the Pearson chi-square test, Fischer exact test and scatter plots. Results A total of 76 patients were evaluated in this study, of which 73.7% were female. The mean age was 70.8 ± 1.7 years. The majority of patients (63.2%) were admitted through the outpatient department (OPD). The most common presenting complaint was abdominal pain (96.1%). Clinical jaundice was noted in 9.2%. Complicated Gall Stone Disease (GSD) was found more commonly in the female population (57.1%). Complicated GSD was more commonly found in patients with diabetes (p=0.075) and hypothyroidism (p=0.057). No association of age with intraoperative complications was noted (p = 0.446). Conclusion Senior citizens can present with both complicated and uncomplicated GSD. GSD, in the presence of hypothyroidism or diabetes mellitus, presents in a much more complicated form. Early surgical intervention in form of laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be beneficial to the patient if diagnosed with symptomatic gallstones. Patients of this age group need not be over investigated if a benign pathology is suspected.

Abstract
BACKGROUND A few comparative studies have assessed the incidence of symptomatic cholelithiasis after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LRYGB). However, they have shown inconsistent results. The present study has been designed based on comparing LSG and LRYGB regarding the incidence of symptomatic cholelithiasis and determining factors related to symptomatic cholelithiasis development after these procedures. METHODS This retrospective cohort study was conducted on 1163 patients aged ≥ 18 years old who underwent LRYGB (n = 377) or LSG (n = 786) from July 2006 to November 2019. The participants had no previous history of gallstones. A Cox-proportional hazard regression was used to assess associations between the types of procedures and the risk of symptomatic cholelithiasis. The univariable and then multivariable analysis were used to reveal the predictors of symptomatic cholelithiasis. RESULTS The mean person-time follow-up was 34 months (95% CI: 32.2 to 36.1 months). The incidence of symptomatic cholelithiasis was 8.3% over the follow-up period. There was no significant association between the risk of symptomatic cholelithiasis development and the type of surgical procedure (HR: 1.35, 95% CI: 0.75 to 2.41). Females had a 2.3-fold higher risk of symptomatic cholelithiasis than males, according to the multivariable Cox regression (HR: 2.31, 95% CI: 1.23 to 4.33). In addition, there was an inverse association between the administration of UDCA and the incidence of symptomatic cholelithiasis (HR: 0.13, 95% CI: 0.01 to 0.99). Our findings indicated that age, baseline body mass index (BMI), percentage of weight loss (%WL) after three and six months following surgery, postoperative pregnancy, and obesity-related comorbidities did not predict the risk of symptomatic cholelithiasis. CONCLUSION The present study illustrates no significant differences between LRYGB and LSG regarding symptomatic cholelithiasis occurrence. Our findings indicate that administration of UDCA has a protective effect against symptomatic cholelithiasis while, female gender is the main predictor of symptomatic cholelithiasis.

Abstract
There are few studies on the changes of gut microbiota in patients with gallstones, especially in patients with asymptomatic gallstones, and there are some deficiencies in these studies, for instance, the effects of metabolic factors on gut microbiota are not considered. Here, we selected 30 asymptomatic gallstone patients from the survey population, and 30 controls according to the age and BMI index matching principle. The 16SrDNA technology was used to detect and compare the structural differences in the gut microbiota between the two groups. Compared with healthy controls, the abundance of gut microbiota in patients with gallstones increased significantly, while the microbiota diversity decreased. At the level of phylum, both groups were dominated by Firmicutes, Bacteroides, Proteobacteria, and Actinobacteria. At the genus level, there were 15 species with significant differences in abundance between the two groups. Further subgroup analysis found that only unclassified Lactobacillales showed differences in the intestines of gallstones patients with hypertension, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, or patients with elevated BMI (≧24). The structure of gut microbiota in patients with gallstones changed significantly, and this might be related to the occurrence of gallstones, rather than metabolic factors such as hypertension, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and obesity.

Abstract
Background: The incidence of gallstones in the Tibetan population is increasing rapidly. Previous studies indicated that genetic variation located in the cholesterol metabolism pathway may be associated with the incidence of gallstones. Methods: By recruiting 132 Tibetan gallstone patients and 52 normal Tibetan controls, we performed next-generation sequencing for 508 genes in the cholesterol metabolism pathway. Additionally, by integrating the sequence data of 41 normal Tibetan subjects in the public database, we finally obtained 93 normal Tibetan controls. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) calling were performed by using the GATK pipeline. The quality control criteria for SNPs were: missing rate <0.05; minor allele frequency (MAF) > 0.01; and p value >0.001 in the Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium (HWE) test. To eliminate the influence of population heterogeneity, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was carried out by using the smartpca software. Association analyses were performed by Plink software. Multiple tests were adjusted by the false discovery rate (FDR) method. Results: A total of 2,401 SNPs were obtained by analyzing 508 genes, and 2,011 SNPs left after quality control. After adjusting the eigen vectors, we found that 10 SNPs (SNV05997, rs80145081, rs80005560, rs79074685, rs748546375, rs201880593, rs142559357, rs750769471, rs869789 and rs4072341) were significantly associated with gallstone. Subsequently, by comparing the case group with our control group and the public database control group separately, we further found that the SNP rs869789 was consistently significantly associated with gallstone (p = 9.04 × 10–3 in cases vs. our controls and 5.73 × 10–3 in cases vs. public controls, respectively). Conclusion: By systematically analyzed SNPs in the cholesterol metabolism pathway, we identified one polymorphic locus rs869789 significantly associated with the pathogenesis of gallstone in the Tibetan population. This study will provide clue for further mechanism study of gallstone in the Tibetan population.

Abstract
Background To explore the association between hypertension and the risk of gallstone disease. Methods We collected the data about the subjects receiving physical examination. Gallstone disease was diagnosed by abdominal ultrasound. Multivariable logistic regression was used to study the association between blood pressure and the risk of gallstone disease. SPSS version 23.0 was used for statistical analysis, and two-tailed P < 0.05 was defined as statistically significant. Results A total of 318,403 people were included in the study and 171,276 (53.8%) of them were men and 147,127 (46.2%) were women. Among them, 27,463 (8.6%) were diagnosed with gallstone disease on ultrasound examination, with 12,452 (3.9%) cases of gallstones and 15,017 (4.7%) cases of cholecystectomy. Multivariable logistic regression showed that hypertension was significantly associated with the risk of gallstone disease (OR = 1.05; 95% CI: 1.02–1.10; P = 0.03) and gallstones (OR = 1.12; 95% CI: 1.06–1.19; P < 0.01) and the association between hypertension and gallstone disease was stronger in women than in men. However, hypertension was not significantly correlated with cholecystectomy (OR = 0.99; 95% CI: 0.95–1.04; P = 0.85). Additionally, results showed that with the severity of hypertension increased, the risk of gallstone disease was also marked elevated (P for trend < 0.001). Conclusions The gallstone disease was prevalent and hypertension is significantly associated with the gallstone disease risk with a significant dose–response association. This study showed that the association between hypertension and cholecystectomy was not statistically significant, maybe hypertension correlated with gallstones but not with symptomatic gallstone disease which would require cholecystectomy.

Abstract
FXR (Farnesoid X Receptor) is one of the nuclear receptors expressed in the liver performing a significant role in the maintenance of bile acid concentration. An imbalance of cholesterol and bile acid ratio due to any undefined reason could cause gallstone formation. Hence, this paper aims to screen phytochemicals that could maintain a requisite balance of cholesterol and bile acid by targeting FXR and thereby contributing to the dissolution of gallstone. Nineteen phytochemicals were selected and queried for Pa and Pi in the way2drug online server for hepatoprotective property, cholesterol synthesis and absorption inhibition property, and β-glucuronidase inhibiting activity. Cianidanol, neoandrographolide, cynarine, saponins, and tanins with satisfying stated properties were docked with the screened FXR (PDB ID- 1OSH) using HADDOCK server, followed by pharmacokinetics study utilizing SwissADME tool. Neoandrographolide fits best among the other selected literature-based phytochemicals with minor violation of 'Brenk's rule'. The violation was corrected with the removal of an alkene group in the provided ChemDraw space of SwissADME. This Dealkenylated compound was further docked with FXR. The promising response under the static condition of the Dealkenylated compound was analyzed for molecular dynamic simulation at physiological conditions for 100 ns. Dealkenylated Neoandrographolide (DN) exhibited hepatoprotective, cholesterol synthesis and absorption inhibition property, and β-glucuronidase inhibition activity with a superior binding score of -42.6+/-1.5 with FXR. The interaction of the FXR receptor and the DN showed exceptional stability at physiological conditions during MD simulation and fit for the ADME properties, therefore it could be a potent candidate to dissolve gallstones.Communicated by Ramaswamy H.
