Abstract
B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphomas (BCNHLs) are a category of B-cell cancers that show heterogeneity. These blood disorders are derived from different levels of B-cell maturity. Among NHL cases, ∼80-90 % are derived from B-cells. Recent studies have demonstrated that noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) contribute to almost all parts of mechanisms and are essential in tumorigenesis, including B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphomas. The study of ncRNA dysregulations in B-cell lymphoma unravels important mysteries in lymphoma's molecular etiology. It seems also necessary for discovering novel trials as well as investigating the potential of ncRNAs as markers for their diagnosis and prognosis. In the current study, we summarize the role of ncRNAs involving miRNAs, long noncoding RNAs, as well as circular RNAs in the development or progression of BCNHLs.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The therapeutic method for many malignant and non-malignant diseases is hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), but it is not always fully successful in all patients. Indeed, HSCT can be influenced by a variety of factors. Here we reviewed the effect of microRNAs (miRs) on HSCT-related outcomes, like survival, infections, relapse, engraftment, and so on, systematically. METHOD WOS, Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, and ProQuest databases were searched. The PRISMA guideline was performed, and 24 studies were included through quality assessment. Classified data extraction was done based on the type of disease. RESULTS The systematic review identified 47 miRs effective on HSCT. The role of miRs as tumor suppressors or oncogenes is reported in acute myeloblastic and lymphoblastic leukemia patients undergoing HSCT due to their effects on overall or event-free survival. Additionally, relapse after HSCT in multiple myeloma is correlated with miRs expression. Also, recovery from post-autologous HSCT cytopenia or platelet and neutrophil engraftment can be influenced by miRs. We highlighted here reports on specific miRs. CONCLUSION We reported prognostic miRs for in-depth clinical management of the HSCT process and its outcomes. Also, miRs are introduced for the prevention of HSCT-related complications, and future studies are suggested to evaluate personalized medicine's utilization of miRs in therapeutic methods like HSCT in neoplasia.

Abstract
Introduction AHSCT is the treatment of choice for newly diagnosed patients with transplant-eligible multiple myeloma (MM). However, considerable variability in response to autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT) results in only 50% of patients achieving complete response (CR) after AHSCT, which is directly associated with improved progression-free and overall survival (OS). In this study, we aimed to investigate the potential predictive role of selected serum miRNAs in MM patients who underwent AHSCT. Patients and methods Serum expression level of 6 miRNAs: miR-221-3p, miR-15b-5p, miR-223-3p, miR-320c, miR-361-3p, and miR-150-5p was evaluated in 51 patients who underwent AHSCT. Blood samples were collected at two time points: before conditioning chemotherapy (T1) and fourteen days after transplant (+14) (T2). Results All selected miRNAs significantly changed their expression level across the procedure- two were up-regulated after AHSCT: hsa-miR-320c (FC 1.42, p<0.0001) and hsa-miR-361-3p (FC 1.35, p=0.0168); four were down-regulated: hsa-miR-15b-5p (FC 0.53, p<0.0001), hsa-miR-221-3p (FC 0.78, p=0.0004), hsa-miR-223-3p (FC 0.74, p=0.0015) and hsa-miR-150-5p (FC 0.75, p=0.0080). Notably, before AHSCT, hsa-miR-223-3p was down-regulated in International Staging System (ISS) III patients (FC=0.76, p=0.0155), and hsa-miR-320c was up-regulated (FC=1.27, p=0.0470). These differences became non-significant after AHSCT. Eight (15.69%) patients achieved CR before AHSCT and 17 patients (33.33%) at +100 days after AHSCT. In multivariate logistic regression analysis, achievement of CR after induction and hsa-miR-223-3p at T1 were independent predictors of CR after AHSCT. In multivariate Cox regression analysis, hsa-miR-223-3p at T1 expression level was associated with prolonged OS (HR 0.06, 95%CI: 0.00 - 0.99, p=0.0488). Conclusion Serum expression of has-miR-223-3p is a predictor of CR and prolonged OS in MM patients undergoing AHSCT.

Abstract
Hematologic malignancies are a group of neoplastic conditions that can develop from any stage of the hematopoiesis cascade. Small non-coding microRNAs (miRNAs) play a crucial role in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. Mounting evidence highlights the role of miRNAs in malignant hematopoiesis via the regulation of oncogenes and tumor suppressors involved in proliferation, differentiation, and cell death. In this review, we provide current knowledge about dysregulated miRNA expression in the pathogenesis of hematological malignancies. We summarize data about the clinical utility of aberrant miRNA expression profiles in hematologic cancer patients and their associations with diagnosis, prognosis, and the monitoring of treatment response. Moreover, we will discuss the emerging role of miRNAs in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), and severe post-HSCT complications, such as graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). The therapeutical potential of the miRNA-based approach in hemato-oncology will be outlined, including studies with specific antagomiRs, mimetics, and circular RNAs (circRNAs). Since hematologic malignancies represent a full spectrum of disorders with different treatment paradigms and prognoses, the potential use of miRNAs as novel diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers might lead to improvements, resulting in a more accurate diagnosis and better patient outcomes.

Abstract
Intramuscular fat (IMF) is the main determinant of the economic value of domestic animal meat, and has a vital impact on the sensory quality characteristics, while the content of IMF is mainly determined by the size and number of intramuscular adipocytes. In recent years, due to the development of sequencing technology and omics technology, a large number of non-coding RNAs have been identified in intramuscular adipocytes. Non-coding RNAs are a kind of RNA regulatory factors with biological functions but without translation function, which mainly include microRNAs (miRNAs), long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs). These non-coding RNAs regulate the key genes of intramuscular adipocyte growth and development at post-transcriptional level through a variety of regulatory mechanisms, and affect the number and size of intramuscular adipocytes, thus affecting the content of IMF. Here, the review summarizes the candidate non-coding RNAs (miRNAs, lncRNAs, circRNAs) and genes involved in the regulation of intramuscular adipocytes, the related regulation mechanism and signaling pathways, in order to provide reference for further clarifying the molecular regulation mechanism of non-coding RNAs on intramuscular adipocytes in domestic animals.

Abstract
Sinusoidal endothelial cells are the predominant vascular surface of the bone marrow and constitute the functional hematopoietic niche where hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells receive cues for self-renewal, survival, and differentiation. In the bone marrow hematopoietic niche, the oxygen tension is usually very low, and this condition affects stem and progenitor cell proliferation and differentiation and other important functions of this region. Here, we have investigated in vitro the response of endothelial cells to a marked decrease in O2 partial pressure to understand how the basal gene expression of some relevant biological factors (i.e., chemokines and interleukins) that are fundamental for the intercellular communication could change in anoxic conditions. Interestingly, mRNA levels of CXCL3, CXCL5, and IL-34 genes are upregulated after anoxia exposure but become downmodulated by sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) overexpression. Indeed, the expression levels of some other genes (such as Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF)) that were not significantly affected by 8 h anoxia exposure become upregulated in the presence of SIRT6. Therefore, SIRT6 mediates also the endothelial cellular response through the modulation of selected genes in an extreme hypoxic condition.

Abstract
Sirtuins are involved in the fate of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), including their metabolism, stress response, differentiation, migration, and apoptosis. The aim of this study was to explore SIRT1-7 expression during HSC mobilization. The study included 50 patients with lymphoproliferative disorders (39 multiple myeloma, 11 lymphoma). Samples were taken before mobilization (day 0) and on the day of first apheresis (day A). The sirtuin expression was evaluated by the Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) method. A significant increase of the SIRT1, SIRT2, SIRT3, SIRT5, SIRT6, and SIRT7 levels measured at day A as compared to baseline was observed. The study revealed a positive correlation between SIRT5, SIRT6, and SIRT7 expression and the CD34+ peak value in peripheral blood and the number of CD34+ cells collected on day A. Patients from the SIRT7 “high expressors” group collected more CD34+ cells on day A than “low expressors”. Upregulated expressions of SIRT3 and SIRT7 on the day of first apheresis were observed in patients in complete remission status (CR) as compared to the non-CR group. Our results suggest that the investigated sirtuins may influence the HSC migration and hematopoietic landscape during mobilization. SIRT5, SIRT6, and SIRT7 may be associated with the efficacy of HSC mobilization.

Abstract
Simple Summary Lymphoproliferative disorders comprise a heterogeneous group of hematological malignancies characterized by abnormal lymphocyte proliferation. Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation plays a very important role in the treatment of lymphoproliferative diseases. The key element in this process is the effective mobilization of hematopoietic cells from the marrow niche to the peripheral blood. Mobilization of HSC is regulated by many factors, out of which miRNAs present in the hematopoietic niche via targeting cytokines, and signaling pathways may play an important regulatory role. This study investigated the expression of selected miRNAs in patients with multiple myeloma, Hodgkin’s lymphomas, and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas undergoing mobilization procedures. The aim of the study was to evaluate the expression of hsa-miR-15a-5p, hsa-miR-16-5p, hsa-miR-34a-5p, hsa-miR-126-3p, hsa-miR-146a-5p, hsa-miR-155-5p, and hsa-miR-223-3p during the mobilization procedure, and to assess their role in mobilization efficacy. The level of miRNAs was tested at two time points before the initiation of mobilization and on the day of the first apheresis. Our results suggest that the investigated miRNAs, especially hsa-miR-146a-5p, may influence the efficacy of HSC mobilization. Abstract microRNAs play an important role in the regulation of gene expression, cell fate, hematopoiesis, and may influence the efficacy of CD34+ cell mobilization. The present study examines the role of hsa-miR-15a-5p, hsa-miR-16-5p, hsa-miR-34a-5p, hsa-miR-126-3p, hsa-miR-146a-5p, hsa-miR-155-5p, and hsa-miR-223-3p in the course of hematopoietic stem cell mobilization. The numbers of CD34+ cells collected in patients with hematological malignancies (39 multiple myelomas, 11 lymphomas) were determined during mobilization for an autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The miRNA level was evaluated by RT-PCR. Compared to baseline, a significant decline in hsa-miR-15a-5p, hsa-miR-16-5p, hsa-miR-126-3p, hsa-miR-146a-5p, and hsa-miR-155-5p was observed on the day of the first apheresis (day A). An increase was observed only in the expression of hsa-miR-34a-5p. On day A, a negative correlation was found between hsa-miR-15a-5p and hsa-miR-146a-5p levels and the number of CD34+ cells in peripheral blood. A negative correlation was observed between hsa-miR-146a-5p and the number of collected CD34+ cells after the first apheresis. Good mobilizers, defined according to GITMO criteria, demonstrated a lower hsa-miR-146a-5p level on day A than poor mobilizers. Patients from the hsa-miR-146a-5p “low expressors” collected more CD34+ cells than “high expressors”. Our results suggest that the investigated miRNAs, especially hsa-miR-146a-5p, may influence the efficacy of HSC mobilization.

Abstract
Multiple myeloma (MM) is a hematologic malignancy characterized by aberrant expansion of monoclonal plasma cells with high mortality and severe complications due to the lack of early diagnosis and timely treatment. Circulating miRNAs have shown potential in the diagnosis of MM with inconsistent results, which remains to be fully assessed. Here we updated a meta-analysis with relative studies and essays published in English before Jan 31, 2021. After steps of screening, 32 studies from 11 articles that included a total of 627 MM patients and 314 healthy controls were collected. All data were analyzed by REVMAN 5.3 and Stata MP 16, and the quality of included literatures was estimated by Diagnostic Accuracy Study 2 (QUADAS-2). The pooled area under the curve (AUC) shown in summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC) analyses of circulating miRNAs was 0.87 (95%CI, 0.81–0.89), and the sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio (PLR), negative likelihood ratio (NLR), and diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) were 0.79, 0.86, 5, 0.27, 22, respectively. Meta-regression and subgroup analysis exhibited that “miRNA cluster”, patient “detailed stage or Ig isotype” accounted for a considerable proportion of heterogeneity, revealing the importance of study design and patient inclusion in diagnostic trials; thus standardized recommendations were proposed for further studies. In addition, the performance of the circulating miRNAs included in MM prognosis and treatment response prediction was summarized, indicating that they could serve as valuable biomarkers, which would expand their clinical application greatly.

Abstract
Liver diseases, despite the organ’s high regenerative capacity, are caused by several environmental factors and persistent injuries. Their optimal treatment is a liver transplantation. However, this option is limited by donor shortages and immune response issues. Therefore, many researchers have been interested in identifying the therapeutic potential in treating irreversible liver damage based on stem cells and developing suitable therapeutic agents. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which are representative multipotent stem cells, are known to be highly potential stem cell therapy compared to other stem cells in the clinical trial worldwide. MSCs have therapeutic potentials for several hepatic diseases such as anti-fibrosis, proliferation of hepatocytes injured, anti-inflammation, autophagic mechanism, and inactivation of hepatic stellate cells. There are much data regarding clinical treatments, however, the data for examining the efficacy of stem cell treatment and the correlation between the stem cell engraftment and the efficacy in liver diseases is limited due to the lack of monitoring system for treatment effectiveness. Therefore, this paper introduces the characteristics of microRNAs (miRNAs) and liver disease-specific miRNA profiles, and the possibility of a biomarker that miRNA can monitor stem cell treatment efficacy by comparing miRNAs changed in liver diseases following stem cell treatment. Additionally, we also discuss the miRNA profiling in liver diseases when treated with stem cell therapy and suggest the candidate miRNAs that can be used as a biomarker that can monitor treatment efficacy in liver diseases based on MSCs therapy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND/AIMS Hirschsprung's disease (HSCR) is the most common digestive disease caused by disorders of neural crest development. Despite the known involvement of miR-140-5p in many human diseases, its biological role in Hirschsprung's disease (HSCR) remains undefined. In this study, we sought to reveal the roles of miR-140-5p in the pathogenesis of HSCR. METHODS Quantitative real-time PCR and western blotting were used to measure the relative expression levels of miRNAs, mRNAs, and proteins in stenotic and dilated sections of the colon of 32 HSCR patients. Targets and proteins were evaluated by western blotting, and Transwell, CCK-8, and flow cytometry assays were adopted to detect the functional effects of miR-140-5p on SH-SY5Y cells. RESULTS miR-140-5p was significantly downregulated in HSCR tissue samples with increased expression of EGR2, and knockdown of miR-140-5p inhibited cell migration and proliferation and promoted apoptosis in SH-SY5Y cell lines. EGR2 expression was inversely correlated with that of miR-140-5p in cell lines. CONCLUSIONS miR-140-5p may influence the pathogenesis of HSCR by targeting EGR2.
