Abstract
Introduction Psoriasis is a chronic, recurrent inflammatory skin condition that affects 1-3% of the global population. Increasing evidence suggests a higher prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS) among individuals with psoriasis. This study aims to investigate the prevalence of MetS in patients with psoriasis and compare the findings with existing literature. Methods This cross-sectional, hospital-based study included 311 patients with psoriasis. Data were retrospectively collected from hospital records. Results The study included 311 patients with psoriasis (144 females and 167 males), with a mean age of 41.6 years (range 18-87). The mean BMI was 27.13 ± 5.29 kg/m², and the average waist circumference was 93 cm. Mean fasting blood sugar levels were 100 mg/dL, mean high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol was 44 mg/dL, and mean triglycerides were 132 mg/dL. MetS was diagnosed in 60 patients (19.3%). Patients with MetS had significantly higher mean waist circumference, higher rates of hypertriglyceridemia, hyperglycemia, and hypertension, and lower mean HDL levels (p < 0.05). There was no significant association between MetS and psoriasis severity, disease duration, family history, smoking, or alcohol consumption habits. Conclusions In this study, the prevalence of MetS among patients with psoriasis was 19.3%. MetS prevalence was not linked to smoking status, alcohol consumption, family history of psoriasis, disease duration, or severity. It is crucial for dermatologists treating psoriasis patients to be aware of MetS, its components, and associated cardiovascular risks.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION A strong link has been established between psoriasis and lipid disturbances; however, no study has systematically examined their global epidemiology. METHODS We searched six databases from their inception up to October 1, 2023. Data analysis was conducted using Stata SE 15.1. We performed subgroup, meta-regression, and sensitivity analyses to assess the heterogeneity of the pooled studies. RESULTS Our review included 239 studies comprising 15,519,570 participants. The pooled prevalence rate of dyslipidemia among individuals with psoriasis was 38%. CONCLUSION Patients with severe psoriasis should undergo screening for lipid abnormalities. This can facilitate the early detection of lipid dysfunction and associated cardiovascular comorbidities.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Obesity is the risk factor for psoriasis. Therefore, we conducted a comprehensive review and meta-analysis to determine the prevalence of obesity in patients with psoriasis. METHODS We examined four databases from their inception to October 2023 and used the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale to assess the quality of observational studies. Data analysis was conducted by R language. Meta-regression, sensitivity and subgroup analyses were used to evaluate inter-study heterogeneity. Egger's test and funnel plots were used to evaluate publication bias. RESULTS The global prevalence of psoriasis and obesity comorbidity was 25% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.21-0.30). Furthermore, the co-morbidity rate was 18% (95% CI: 0.11-0.24) in children and adolescents, and 35% (95% CI: 0.30-0.39) in adults. The gender-specific prevalence rates were 23% (95% CI: 0.16-0.32) in men and 38% (95% CI: 0.20-0.61) in women. Africa had the highest prevalence (60%, 95% CI: 0.21-0.99), followed by Asia (40%, 95% CI: 0.28-0.51), while Europe and North America had similar prevalence rates at 34% (95% CI: 0.27-0.41) and 31% (95% CI: 0.27-0.38), respectively. Regarding psoriasis severity, obesity prevalence was higher in moderate psoriasis (36%, 95% CI: 0.20-0.64) and lower in mild psoriasis (27%, 95% CI: 0.16-0.46). The prevalence of obesity in the patients with severe psoriasis was 30% (95% CI: 0.20-0.45). CONCLUSION This study underscores the importance of identifying and treating obesity in patients with psoriasis to mitigate disease progression. However, more high-quality observational studies are required to elucidate their global prevalence and comorbid associations.

Abstract
The association between psoriasis and alcohol consumption has been inconsistent across various studies. However, to the best of our knowledge, no dose-response meta-analysis has been performed to date. This study aims to investigate the association between alcohol consumption and psoriasis. The search was performed on July 27, 2021, using Embase and MEDLINE. The restricted cubic spline analysis was used to perform a dose-response analysis. We identified 3,904 studies, of which 48 studies with 1,702,847 individuals across 24 countries were included. Alcohol consumption was positively associated with psoriasis (odds ratio [OR], 1.47; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.27-1.70). In addition, a significantly increased OR for psoriasis was observed in males (OR, 1.84; 95% CI, 1.13-3.01) but not in females (OR, 1.22; 95% CI, 0.97-1.54). Based on eight studies, including three cohort and five case-control studies, the analysis revealed that with each additional gram of daily alcohol intake, the OR for psoriasis increased by 4%. We found a positive association between alcohol consumption and psoriasis. The association is more prominent in the group drinking more than 45 g of alcohol per day (3.2 alcoholic drink equivalent).

Abstract
Background Psoriasis is a frequent form of chronic inflammation in dermatology that is unmistakably linked to the metabolic syndrome (MetS) and its elements. This study was to explore the current status and new developments in the global research, and the holistic landscape of this field more intuitively through bibliometric analysis of scientific output and activity. Methods Publications regarding psoriasis and MetS were searched and chosen from the database of the Web of Science Core Collection. Excel 2019, VOSviewer, and CiteSpace software were utilized to conduct bibliometric analysis. Results There were 1096 publications included. The scientific outputs in this field had increased from 2004 to 2022, and the expansion could continue in the following years. The United States contributed the most publications (241, 21.99%) and had the most citation frequency (13,489 times). The University of California System was the most productive affiliation. Girolomoni G., Armstrong A.W., Gisondi P. and Gelfand J.M. were key and influential researchers. Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology published the greatest number of articles (65 articles). By analyzing keyword frequency and clustering, we have identified the following areas of research interest and frontiers: prevalence, risk, association, gene expression, waist circumference, adipose tissue inflammation, vascular inflammation, cardiovascular disease, psoriatic arthritis, and fibrosis. Conclusion This bibliometric analysis elucidates research domain of psoriasis and MetS, portraying present hotspots and future emerging trends. This field has generated significant interest and displays potential for further growth. The United States has made distinguished contributions, and currently dominates this field.

Abstract
Background The prevalence of psoriasis is similar between men and women; however, evidence exists of sex- and gender-related differences in disease expression, impact, coping, and needs of patients with psoriasis. These differences are essential and should be considered in clinical practice and research. Objective To compile available evidence on sex- and gender-related differences in psoriasis, identify the most critical gaps in clinical practice and research, and use it to propose strategies for improved clinical practice. Methods Six European dermatologists selected the topics to consider according to their relevance in the dermatology setting with the support of methodologists. Evidence on sex- and gender-related differences was obtained by a scoping review based on search strategies in Medline and Cochrane Library from inception to October 2021 using the following terms: arthritis, psoriatic, psoriasis, gender, and sex. The panel discussed the results and proposed strategies by consensus. Results The scoping review identified broad themes: (1) clinical expression, (2) severity and patient-reported outcomes, (3) psychosocial impact, (4) access to treatments and propensity to treat, (5) comorbidities, and (6) treatment effect. The strategies are based on these broad themes. Limitations No risk of bias assessment was done due to the scoping nature of the review. Conclusion This review offers insights into gender differences in psoriasis, providing a foundation for improving clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Background and Aim Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a well-known noncommunicable disease that plays a significant role in emerging other chronic disorders and following complications. MetS is also involved in the pathophysiology of numerous dermatological diseases. We aim to evaluate the association of MetS with the most prevalent dermatological diseases. Methods A systematic search was carried out on PubMed, Science Direct, Web of Science, Cochrane, as well as the Google Scholar search engine. Only English case-control studies regarding MetS and any skin disease from the beginning of 2010 up to November 15, 2022, were selected. The study was conducted based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Results A total of 37 studies (13,830 participants) met the inclusion criteria. According to our result, patients with psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), vitiligo, androgenetic alopecia (AGA), and lichen planus (LP) have a higher chance of having MetS compared to the general population. Furthermore, people with seborrheic dermatitis (SED) and rosacea are more prone to insulin resistance, high blood pressure (BP), and higher blood lipids. After pooling data, the meta-analysis revealed a significant association between MetS and skin diseases (pooled odds ratio [OR]: 3.28, 95% confidence interval: 2.62-4.10). Concerning the type of disease, MetS has been correlated with AGA (OR: 11.86), HS (OR: 4.46), LP (OR: 3.79), and SED (OR: 2.45). Psoriasis also showed a significant association but with high heterogeneity (OR: 2.89). Moreover, skin diseases and MetS are strongly associated in Spain (OR: 5.25) and Thailand (OR: 11.86). Regarding the metaregression model, the effect size was reduced with increasing age (OR: 0.965), while the size increased with AGA (OR: 3.064). Conclusions MetS is closely associated with skin complications. Dermatologists and other multidisciplinary teams should be cautious while treating these patients to prevent severe complications resulting from MetS.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The metabolic syndrome (MS) is a leading cause of death worldwide. Several studies have found MS to be prevalent in various African regions. However, no specific estimates of MS prevalence in African populations exist. The aim of this study was to estimate the overall prevalence of MS in the African populations. METHODS A systematic review was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, Africa Index Medicus, and African Journal Online Scopus to find studies published up to the 15th of August 2022. Pooled prevalence was calculated based on six diagnostic methods. The pooled prevalence of MS was estimated using a random-effects model. Our risk of bias analysis was based on the Hoy et al. tool. A Heterogeneity (I2) assessment was performed, as well as an Egger test for publication bias. PROSPERO number CRD42021275176 was assigned to this study. RESULTS In total, 297 studies corresponding to 345 prevalence data from 29 African countries and involving 156 464 participants were included. The overall prevalence of MS in Africa was 32.4% (95% CI: 30.2-34.7) with significant heterogeneity (I2 = 98.9%; P<0.001). We obtained prevalence rates of 44.8% (95% CI: 24.8-65.7), 39.7% (95% CI: 31.7-48.1), 33.1% (95% CI: 28.5-37.8), 31.6% (95% CI: 27.8-35.6) and 29.3% (95% CI: 25.7-33) using the WHO, revised NCEP-ATP III, JIS, NCEP/ATP III and IDF definition criteria, respectively. The prevalence of MS was significantly higher in adults >18 years with 33.1% (95%CI: 30.8-35.5) compared to children <18 years with 13.3% (95%CI: 7.3-20.6) (P<0.001). MS prevalence was significantly higher in females with 36.9% (95%CI: 33.2-40.7) compared to males with 26.7% (95%CI: 23.1-30.5) (P<0.001). The prevalence of MS was highest among Type 2 diabetes patients with 66.9% (95%CI: 60.3-73.1), followed by patients with coronary artery disease with 55.2% (95%CI: 50.8-59.6) and cardiovascular diseases with 48.3% (95%CI: 33.5-63.3) (P<0.001). With 33.6% (95% CI: 28.3-39.1), the southern African region was the most affected, followed by upper-middle income economies with 35% (95% CI: 29.5-40.6). CONCLUSION This study, regardless of the definition used, reveals a high prevalence of MS in Africa, confirming the ongoing epidemiological transition in African countries. Early prevention and treatment strategies are urgently needed to reverse this trend.

Abstract
Patients with psoriasis are at an increased risk of metabolic syndrome (MetS); however, a systematic analysis of its global prevalence has not been performed to date. Here, we performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to assess the prevalence of MetS among patients with psoriasis. We searched five databases from inception through September 2021 and used the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) tools to assess observational study quality. Stata SE 15.1 was used to perform the data analysis. Subgroup, meta-regression and sensitivity analyses were used to evaluate interstudy heterogeneity. Publication bias was evaluated using Egger's and Begg's linear tests. The global prevalence of MetS in patients with psoriasis was 32% (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.26-0.38). The prevalence in adults was 32% (95% CI, 0.29-0.36), while that in children and adolescents was 9% (95% CI, 0.00-0.18). Latin America had the highest prevalence of 47% (95% CI, 0.43-0.51), whereas North America had the lowest prevalence of 26% (95% CI, 0.16-0.37). Patients with psoriasis vulgaris (29%; 95% CI, 0.23-0.35) or severe psoriasis (37%; 95% CI, 0.27-0.46) had a higher prevalence of MetS than those with other psoriasis types. These findings suggest that MetS should be appropriately recognized and managed in patients with psoriasis. More population-based prospective observational studies are required to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the coexistence of MetS in patients with psoriasis.

Abstract
Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is associated with psoriasis, but it remains unclear whether risk of psoriasis remains in patients whose MetS diagnosis changes. To assess the relationship between risk of psoriasis and changes in MetS components. We obtained data from the National Health Insurance Service of Korea and divided the participants into four groups: individuals without MetS (control); individuals with MetS in 2009, but without MetS in 2012 (pre-MetS); individuals without MetS in 2009, but with newly diagnosed MetS in 2012 (post-MetS); and individuals with MetS during the 2009-2012, period (continuous-MetS). We calculated the risk of psoriasis for each group. Risk of psoriasis was similar in the control and pre-MetS groups but was significantly higher in the post-MetS group (hazard ratio [HR], 1.08; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.04-1.12) and in the continuous-MetS group (HR, 1.11; 95% CI, 1.07-1.15) than in the control group. Among MetS components, waist circumference showed the strongest association with psoriasis, followed by high-density lipoprotein and triglyceride levels. Risk of psoriasis was higher in patients with continuous- or post-MetS than in those with pre-MetS (regardless of prior MetS status).

Abstract
BACKGROUND Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease that is not limited to the skin. Recently, numerous studies have shown a positive association between metabolic syndrome and psoriasis. OBJECTIVE The current study aimed to examine the association of metabolic syndrome with psoriasis in an Afghan population. METHODS This was a case- control study including 114 patients with psoriasis and 114 controls aged ≥18 years admitted to the dermatology department of Maiwand Teaching Hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan. Height, weight, blood pressure, and waist circumference were measured in all subjects. Blood glucose, triglyceride, cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels were tested following overnight fasting. The modified National Cholesterol Education Program - Adult Treatment Panel III criteria were used for the diagnosis of metabolic syndrome. RESULTS In total, 51.8% of the cases and 44.7% of the controls were male. The average age of participants was 33.4±13.1 years in the case group and 41.1±15.4 years in the control group. The average duration of disease for psoriasis was 4.2 years with 5.6 years SD. The average PASI was 10.8 with 5.1 SD. More than half of the cases (62.3%) had moderate to severe psoriasis and 37.7% had mild psoriasis. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome was higher among patients with psoriasis compared to controls (36.8% vs 21.1%) with OR of 2.18 (p=0.009). In addition, overweight/obesity was more prevalent among cases compared to controls (65.8% vs 41.2%) with OR of 2.74 (p<0.001), whereas the waist circumference was not significantly different between the two groups. Furthermore, the mean levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, and fasting blood glucose were also higher among patients with psoriasis compared to controls. CONCLUSION The results of the study confirm the association between psoriasis and metabolic syndrome. Hence, screening psoriatic patients for metabolic syndrome should be considered.

Objectives
In this systematic literature review and meta-analysis, we aimed to investigate the impact of cigarette smoking on the prevalence and incidence of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (PsA).
Method
We performed a systematic literature review using the MEDLINE, EMBASE and Cochrane Central Register databases. The literature included publications from January 1980 to July 2019. The studies that provided clear information on the number of patients with ever smoking data were included in the meta-analysis.
Results
The systematic literature review identified 52 and 24 articles for the prevalence of smoking in psoriasis and PsA, respectively. Of these, 16 articles on psoriasis and three and four (general population and psoriasis, respectively) articles on PsA met the criteria and were included in the meta-analysis. The prevalence of ever smoking was increased in psoriasis compared with the general population (OR: 1.84; 95% CI: 1.4, 2.3). For PsA the prevalence of ever smoking was reduced in psoriasis patients (OR: 0.70; 95% CI: 0.60, 0.81), but not changed compared with the general population (OR: 1.10; 95% CI: 0.92, 1.32).
Conclusion
This meta-analysis showed that ever smoking increases the risk of psoriasis in the general population, but may reduce the risk of PsA in psoriasis patients. The latter may be also due to the collider effect. Whether smoking cessation neutralizes the risk of developing psoriasis requires a well-defined smoking data collection for the past history and this is currently unavailable in the literature.

Abstract
Metabolic diseases concurrent with psoriasis may considerably affect the intensity of its symptoms and therapy efficacy. Cyclosporine A (CsA) is one of the medicines used in conventional therapy of psoriasis. The aim of the study was to determine whether Diabetes 2 and metabolic syndromes influence the efficacy of the CsA therapy in psoriatic patients. The sample group was composed of 32 patients with diagnosed moderate to severe forms of psoriasis vulgaris. The group was divided into subgroups, with regard to concurrently occurring Diabetes 2 and metabolic syndromes. The subgroups were composed of as follows: with diabetes-7 patients, without diabetes-25, with metabolic syndrome-15, without concurrent metabolic syndrome-17, with a metabolic syndrome without diabetes-8 and with both a metabolic syndrome and diabetes-7 patients. The efficacy of therapy was evaluated in each subgroup on the basis of the following scales: PASI, BSA, DLQI on the day of therapy commencing, after 42 and 84 days of the CsA therapy. The statistical analysis was performed with the use of STATISICA 12 (Cracow, Poland; p < .05). The following tests were used: The ANOVA Friedeman test, the posthoc test for ANOVA Friedeman test, the Mann-Whitney U test. We observed clinical improvement measured with PASI BSA scales in each subgroup. The patients themselves also reported improved comfort in their lives, which is confirmed by the lower score in the DLQI scale after 42 and 84 days of the pharmacotherapy. Differences in the values of each scale in a given subgroup turned to be statistically significant. The biggest differences occur after the first 42 days of therapy and they last in the later period of observations. We did not determine any statistically significant differences as a response to treatment in the subgroups subject to comparison. Diabetes and a metabolic syndrome concurrent with psoriasis vulgaris do not affect the efficacy of CsA therapy, which indicates no necessity to modify the standard dosage of the medicine and therapy regime.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Psoriasis course involves increased secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines, among others, a beta transforming growth factor (TGFβs) and its receptors. Cyclosporine A (CsA), an immunosuppressive medicine with the molecular mechanism of operation connected with the properties of cell cycle suppression, is often used in the treatment of severe forms of psoriasis. The efficacy of therapy is assessed based on the disease clinical progression indexes - Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI), body surface area (BSA), and Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI). The aim of the study was the evaluation of the efficacy of the CsA treatment of patients with psoriasis vulgaris, based on the clinical parameters and an assessment of the expression profiles of TGFβs and TGFβRs, depending on the concurrent diabetes and metabolic syndrome. METHODS The group under study composed of 32 patients (15 with the metabolic syndrome, seven with diabetes) treated with CsA for 84 days. The molecular analysis included extraction of RNA, assessment of TGβF1-3, TGFβRI-III gene expression with the use of the RTqPCR method. The clinical assessment of the effects of this pharmacotherapy involved evaluation of the parameters: PASI, BSA, DLQI before therapy commencement, on the 42nd and 84th days of therapy. RESULTS A statistically significant change in the transcription activity of TGFβ1 in patients with and without diabetes (P = 0.018) and patients with and without metabolic syndrome (P = 0.023) was shown that on the 84th day of therapy. CONCLUSIONS TGFb1 may be claimed as the supplementary molecular marker to evaluate the efficacy of CsA therapy. It seems that systemic diseases have an effect on the efficacy of the applied pharmacotherapy and the course of psoriasis.

Abstract
There is ongoing scientific interest regarding comorbidities associated with the metabolic syndrome (MeTS). MeTS comprises a combination of parameters that predispose individuals to the development of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD). Three or more of the following criteria are necessary: fasting glucose > 110 mg/dl (5.6 mmol/l), hypertriglyceridemia > 150 mg/dl (1.7 mmol/l), HDL levels < 40 mg/dl (men)/< 50 mg/dl (women), blood pressure > 130/85 mmHg, waist circumference (values for Mediterranean populations > 94 cm (men)/> 89 cm (women). In this review we attempted to summarize relevant data by searching dermatological literature regarding associations between various skin conditions and MeTS. A multitude of studies was retrieved and a further goal of the present article is to present plausible mechanistic connections. The severity of skin conditions like psoriasis has been linked with MeTS. Parameters of MeTS like insulin resistance are present in patients with early onset androgenic alopecia, hidradenitis suppurativa acne and rosacea. Since MeTS can lead to CVD and type 2 diabetes early detection of patients would be very important. Also therapeutic intervention on MeTS could lead to improvement on the severity of skin conditions. This reciprocal relationship between skin diseases and MeTS in our opinion holds great interest for further investigation.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Similarly to psoriasis in adults, recent research has linked psoriasis to several comorbidities in children. The aim of this study was therefore to describe comorbidities associated with pediatric psoriasis, to investigate their relationship with psoriasis characteristics and severity, and to perform a review of the literature. METHODS A cross-sectional study was performed on a sample of Moroccan children with psoriasis, in 2014-2016. RESULTS A total of 64 pediatric psoriasis patients had metabolic comorbidities in association with psoriasis; 20 children had non-metabolic comorbidities; and 76 children had no comorbidity. The metabolic comorbidities were as follows: abdominal obesity, 40% (n = 64); overweight, 12.5% (n = 20); metabolic syndrome, 3.7% (n = 6); and dyslipidemia, 3.1% (n = 5); the non-metabolic comorbidities were atopy, 4.3% (n = 7); epilepsy, 3.1% (n = 5); celiac disease, 1.8% (n = 3); vitiligo, 1.8% (n = 3); alopecia ariata, 0.6% (n = 1); and valvular cardiopathy, 0.6% (n = 1). No cases of diabetes mellitus, obesity, or high blood pressure were recorded. Significant factors associated with metabolic comorbidity were extended psoriasis vulgaris >10% (P = 0.01; OR, 2.19), severe psoriasis especially pustular and erythroderma (P = 0.018; OR, 2), nail involvement (P = 0.016; OR, 1.5), face involvement (P = 0.01; OR, 1,59), resistance to topical treatment (P = 0.003; OR, 2.5) and alteration of quality of life (P = 0.02; OR, 1,7). There was no significant risk factor associated with non-metabolic comorbidity. CONCLUSIONS Given the frequent association of pediatric psoriasis with many disorders, these comorbidities should be investigated and identified so that they can be taken into account in the management of psoriasis in order to avoid treatment failure. Regular follow up should be carried out in patients at risk of metabolic comorbidity.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory disease related to the metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, and other comorbidities. However, so far there has been no specific research concerning systemic abnormalities in psoriatic patients. OBJECTIVE A retrospective study was conducted focusing on the detailed systemic abnormalities in psoriatic patients. METHODS Psoriatic inpatients data was collected from July 2009 to September 2015. The inclusion criteria were first-time hospitalization and without administration of systemic drug therapy or exposure to phototherapy for psoriasis for at least 1 month. Detailed systemic indexes were mainly evaluated. RESULTS The abnormality rates of blood routine examination, urine examination, blood biochemical examination and chest X-ray of 43 psoriatic patients were significantly higher than those of 44 non-psoriasis controls, and psoriasis patients significantly had higher absolute values of leukocytes and neutrophils, and significantly lower values of lymphocytes. Compared with psoriasis vulgaris, erythrodermic psoriasis had significantly higher abnormality rates of blood biochemical examination and serum electrolyte analysis. Erythrodermic psoriasis had significantly higher absolute values of blood leukocytes, neutrophils, and lower serum calcium compared with those of psoriasis vulgaris. The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio of controls was significantly lower than that of psoriatic patients, and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio of erythrodermic psoriasis was significantly higher in comparison with psoriasis vulgaris. CONCLUSION This study is the first report in relation to a detailed assessment of systemic abnormalities in psoriatic patients prior to onset of systemic treatment. The systemic condition of psoriatic patients should be observed by clinicians before systemic therapy.
