Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of hip abductor fatigue on the kinematics and kinetics of the knee joint during walking in healthy people to provide a new approach for the prevention and treatment of knee-related injuries and diseases. Methods Twenty healthy participants, ten females, and ten males, with a mean age of 25.10 ± 1.2 years, were recruited. Isometric muscle strength testing equipment was used to measure the changes in muscle strength before and after fatigue, and the surface electromyography (SEMG) data during fatigue were recorded synchronously. The Vicon system and an AMTI© force platform were used to record the kinematic parameters and ground reaction force (GRF) of twenty participants walking at a self-selected speed before and after fatigue. Visual 3D software was used to calculate the angles and torques of the hip and knee joints. Results After fatigue, the muscle strength, median frequency (MF) and mean frequency (MNF) of participants decreased significantly (P < 0.001). The sagittal plane range of motion (ROM) of the knee (P < 0.0001) and hip joint (P < 0.01) on the fatigue side was significantly smaller than before fatigue. After fatigue, the first and second peaks of the external knee adduction moment (EKAM) in participants were greater than before fatigue (P < 0.0001), and the peak values of the knee abduction moment were also higher than those before fatigue (P < 0.05). On the horizontal plane, there is also a larger peak of internal moment during walking after fatigue (P < 0.01). Conclusion Hip abductor fatigue affects knee kinematics and kinetics during normal gait. Therefore, evaluating hip abductor strength and providing intensive training for patients with muscle weakness may be an important part of preventing knee-related injuries.

Abstract
The literature on affective determinants of physical activity (PA) is growing rapidly. The present paper aims to provide greater clarity regarding the definition and distinctions among the various affect-related constructs that have been examined in relation to PA. Affective constructs are organized according to the Affect and Health Behavior Framework (AHBF), including: (1) affective response (e.g., how one feels in response to PA behavior) to PA; (2) incidental affect (e.g., how one feels throughout the day, unrelated to the target behavior); (3) affect processing (e.g., affective associations, implicit attitudes, remembered affect, anticipated affective response, and affective judgments); and (4) affectively charged motivational states (e.g., intrinsic motivation, fear, and hedonic motivation). After defining each category of affective construct, we provide examples of relevant research showing how each construct may relate to PA behavior. We conclude each section with a discussion of future directions for research.

Abstract
Objective: The main purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the %HRR-%VO2R relationship and %HRR-VO2peak relationship are affected in patients with moderate or severe asthma and whether airway obstruction and aerobic capacity influence these relationships.Methods: A linear regression was calculated using the paired %VO2R-%HRR and %VO2peak-%HRR for 93 subjects with asthma. The mean slope and y-intercept were calculated and compared with the line of identity (y-intercept = 0, slope = 1) for all patients and subgroups for the following conditions: low and normal VO2peak and low and normal FEV1.Results: The slope and intercepts of %VO2R-%HRR were similar to the line of identity for all groups (p > 0.05), and the regressions between %HRR and %VO2peak did not coincide with the line of identity for all groups (p < 0.05). There were no associations between the intercepts of the %HRR-VO2peak and the %HRR-%VO2R relationship with the VO2peak (p > 0.05) or FEV1 (p > 0.05).Conclusions: This is the first study to confirm a constant equivalence between %HRR and %VO2R in outpatients with moderate or severe asthma. Our data also suggest that the relationship between %HRR and %VO2peak is unreliable. These results support the use of %HRR in relation to %VO2R to estimate exercise intensity in this population, independently of the pulmonary function and fitness level.

Abstract
Although several treatment options for panic disorder (PD) are available, the best intervention for each individual patient remains uncertain and the use of a more personalized therapeutic approach in PD is required. In clinical practice, clinicians combine general scientific information and personal experience in the decision-making process to choose a tailored treatment for each patient. In this sense, clinicians already use a somehow personalized medicine strategy. However, the influence of their interpretative personal models may lead to bias related to personal convictions, not sufficiently grounded on scientific evidence. Hence, an effort to give some advice based on the science of personalized medicine could have positive effects on clinicians' decisions. Based on a narrative review of meta-analyses, systematic reviews, and experimental studies, we proposed a first-step attempt of evidence-based personalized therapy for PD. We focused on some phenomenological profiles, encompassing symptoms during/outside panic attacks, related patterns of physiological functions, and some aspects of physical health, which might be worth considering when developing treatment plans for patients with PD. We considered respiratory, cardiac, vestibular, and derealization/depersonalization profiles, with related implications for treatment. Given the extensiveness of the topic, we considered only medications and some somatic interventions. Our proposal should be considered neither exhaustive nor conclusive, as it is meant as a very preliminary step toward a future, robust evidence-based personalized therapy for PD. Clearly much more work is needed to achieve this goal, and recent technological advances, such as wearable devices, big data platforms, and the application of machine learning techniques, may help obtain reliable findings. We believe that combining the efforts of different research groups in this work in progress can lead to largely shared conclusions in the near future.
