Abstract
Purpose To analyze and compare clinical research trends and hot topics in allergic rhinitis (AR) and asthma and provide valuable theoretical data and references for future research. Methods Clinical studies focusing on AR or asthma published from 2013 to 2023 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. Eligible articles were screened and analyzed using bibliometrics from multiple indicators. Results A total of 261 eligible articles on AR and 991 qualified articles on asthma were screened. The following bibliometric analyses identified the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology as the most influential publication on AR and asthma and proved the significant contributions of Harvard University in clinical studies on AR and asthma. The analyses also revealed that the top ten prolific authors for AR were from China, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany, whereas the top ten productive authors for asthma were mainly from the USA. Collaborations among countries for AR were relatively concentrated in the Occident, whereas international cooperation on asthma was mainly achieved by the Occident and certain Eastern countries. Conclusions This study compared and analyzed the current status and evolution of AR and asthma-related clinical research using bibliometric analysis. Additionally, the study comprehensively summarized the impactful authors, institutions, and countries, and revealed the replacement and evolution of hotspots.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to investigate the global research status, hot topics, and prospects in the field of sinonasal inverted papilloma (SNIP) through bibliometric analysis. Methods The literature on SNIP was retrieved and downloaded from the Web of Science Core Collection from 2002 to 2021. The bibliometric and visualisation networks of SNIP were constructed using VOSviewer 1.6.18, CiteSpace 6.1. R2, and a bibliometric online analysis platform. Results A total of 560 original articles about SNIP research were included, involving 2,457 authors from 610 institutions in 45 countries. The number of SNIP publications showed an overall rising trend, with an average annual output of 28 articles and almost 3 times as many articles published in 2020 as in 2002. The analysis of keyword burst detection indicated that EGFR mutation, malignant transformation and infection are emerging research hotspots. Moreover, EGFR mutation, KRAS mutation, malignant tumour, metallothionein 2a gene, pre-operative diagnosis, HPV-negative tumour, and expression were among the 11 key clusters of co-cited references. Conclusions This study provided a comprehensive, systematic, and objective analysis and visualised knowledge map of SNIP over the past 2 decades. In particular, current hotspots and prospective trends in the field of SNIP have been identified. These results highlight the future direction of SNIP research for rhinologists.

Abstract
Bibliometric analysis is helpful to determine the most influential studies in a specific field. A large number of publications in anaphylaxis have been published. However, no bibliometric analysis of anaphylaxis was conducted based on our known. The aim of this study is to identify the top 100 most cited articles in anaphylaxis and analyze their bibliometric characteristics. We searched in the Web of Science core database on November 20, 2021. Articles were listed in descending order by their total citations. Hence the top 100 most cited articles in anaphylaxis were identified and analyzed. Bibliometric indicators included: year of publication, total number of citations and average citations per year (ACY), journal of publication and impact factor (IF), countries, institutes, and authors, which were analyzed by Biblioshiny. Co-occurrence was used to visualize the classification and hotspots. The top 100 most cited articles were published between 1991 and 2017. The largest number of articles was published in a single interval in 2006-2008. Total citations of the 100 articles were between 155 and 1241 and were positively correlated with the number of articles published in each 3-year interval. The top100 articles were published in 34 different journals. The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology published the most (n = 41). The corresponding authors of the top100 articles were from 13 different countries, mostly in North America and Europe. Statistical analysis revealed a positive correlation between total number of citations and ACY (r = 0.670, p < 0.01) and between total number of citations and IF (r = 0.219, p < 0.05), whereas a negative correlation between ACY and length of time since publication (r = - 0.697, p < 0.01). The research focuses were classified into three clusters: (1) the epidemiology and management. (2) the risk factor and treatment. (3) the assessment and diagnosis. COVID-19 vaccines, drug allergy and management were the recent major topics. This bibliometric analysis reveals the progress and hotspots of research in anaphylaxis, which may lay a foundation for further research.

Abstract
Background Allergic skin disorders constitute a variety of inflammatory skin disorders with increasing incidence. Bibliometric studies involve a statistical analysis of academic literature to assess the current research trend and identify knowledge gaps. There is a dearth of such studies concerning allergic skin disorders. Aim To perform a bibliometric analysis of global research concerning allergic skin disorders from 2001 to 2020. Materials and Methods We obtained all data from the Web of Science using the keywords "atopic dermatitis," "contact dermatitis," "skin allergy," "urticaria," "food allergy," and "drug allergy." Only articles in English language were included. Subsequent analysis revealed the total number of publications, top journals, institutions, and countries, thus highlighting the overall research trend. Results Overall 76,764 articles were published on allergic skin disorders from 2001 to 2020 (original articles > review articles). The United States of America (USA) contributed maximum publications (26.1%) followed by Germany (9.6%), Japan (8.2%), and England (8.1%). The Allergy is the most preferred journal for publishing skin allergy research. Most research concentrated on atopic dermatitis, pathomechanisms of allergic disorders, and their primary prevention. Conclusion This study evaluates the current landscape of skin allergy research. There has been a consistent increase in the number of publications concerning allergic skin disorders over the years. However, majority of the research publications are from developed countries. Hence, skin allergy-related research publication should be increased for diverse and enriched literary evidences.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES/HYPOTHESIS To identify the most influential publications in laryngology since 2000. STUDY DESIGN Modified Delphi process. METHODS Samples of laryngologists drawn from editors of leading journals, organization officers, and thought leaders were invited to participate in a modified Delphi identification of influential laryngology papers. Influential was defined as follows: yielding meaningful practice changes, catalyzing further work as a foundation for an important topic, altering traditional views, or demonstrating durability over time. Quality and validity were not among the selection criteria. Each participant nominated 5 to 10 papers in Round 1. These nominations, augmented with papers from bibliometric analysis, were narrowed further in Round 2 as participants identified their top 20. The 40 papers with the most Round 2 votes were discussed by video conference and then subjected to Round 3 voting, with each participant again selecting their top 20 most influential papers. Final results were collated by the number of Round 3 votes. RESULTS Sixteen of 18 invited laryngologists participated overall (all 16 in Rounds 1 and 3; 14 in Round 2). Twenty-one papers were identified as most influential. One paper appeared on all 16 Round 3 lists; three papers with eight (50%) votes each were lasted to make the list. Eleven of these 21 focused on voice; three each related to cancer, airway, and swallowing; and one encompassed all of these clinical areas. CONCLUSIONS This list of 21 influential laryngology papers serves to focus further research, provides perspective on recent advances within the field, and is an educational resource for trainees and practicing physicians. Abstract
Objective To analyze the change over the 25 years period in the number of publications on allergic rhinitis from Turkey, and to compare the data of the four major relevant specialties. Methods A search was conducted over 25-years between1994 and 2019 using the keywords "allergic rhinitis" and "Turkey" in PubMed®, and "allerji", "alerji" and "rinit" in TRDizin®. The articles were grouped by specialty; namely, "Otorhinolaryngology (ORL)," "Pediatrics," adult "Pulmonary disease" and adult "Allergy/immunology," based on the affiliation of the first author. The total number of publications in each specialty group within the 25-year period were compared using a significance test for a difference in two proportions within the statistical assessment. Results The 25-year results revealed 624 and 213 publications in the PubMed® and the TRDizin® databases, respectively. When the number of publications in a specific field in both databases was examined, the highest number of publications were identified in the ORL group, followed by the Pediatrics group. The number of publications in the ORL group was statistically higher than those in the "Pulmonary diseases" and "Allergy/immunology" groups in both the PubMed® and the TRDizin® databases (p=0.0001). Conclusion The analysis of the number of 25-year allergic rhinitis publications from Turkey revealed that the academic interest of otolaryngologists in allergic rhinitis was unaffected, despite the challenges experienced in practice, with an increasing number of publications noted. When the number of 25-year publications was examined, ORL recorded the highest number of publications among all specialties.
