Abstract
Backgrounds/Objectives: Modern technology and educational activities, such as antenatal classes (ACs), increase patient informedness in medicine and improve collaboration between physicians and patients. The present study aimed to evaluate and compare the impact of maternal health literacy (HL) on delivery outcomes between nulliparous and multiparous women who attended antenatal classes. Methods: This prospective study recruited 281 pregnant women who regularly attended ACs, but only 188 who gave birth at our academic tertiary hospital were included in the final analysis. Socio-demographic characteristics, peripartum data (cervical dilatation at the time of admission to the hospital, duration of labor, and mode of delivery), and obstetric interventions (cesarean section (C/S) rate and rate of instrumental vaginal birth and episiotomy) were recorded, and the level of HL was assessed using the European Health Literacy Survey Questionnaire (HLS-EU-Q16). HL levels did not significantly affect peripartum and postpartum outcomes. Results: The study results showed that HL levels did not impact labor duration and newborn Apgar scores (p > 0.05). Patient education levels and employment status affected the peripartum duration of labor (p = 0.048 and p = 0.001, respectively). There were no differences in the HL total score and subscale scores (p > 0.05) between nulliparous and multiparous patients, and the rate of primary C/S was similar in both groups. Conclusions: HL levels did not impact delivery (peripartum) outcomes in pregnant women who attended antenatal classes. However, the primary C/S rate was similar between the nulliparous and multiparous groups, which may indicate that antenatal education services can correct the negative impact of low HL levels on the primary C/S rate.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Health literacy (HL) about healthy cognitive aging is essential in preventing cognitive decline and promoting cognitive well-being. It is important that one such HL module should be scientifically designed, delivered in a technically sound manner to the audience, and specific to the context. The present study thus aimed at developing and validating educational multimedia about cognitive health. METHODS The study followed a methodological framework and was carried out across three phases, that is, identification of themes, development and validation of educational script and design, and validation of educational multimedia. The module was scripted based on the Integrated HL framework and the recommendations made during the modified nominal group technique among the research team. Seven speech-language pathologists (SLPs), with expertise in the field of cognitive sciences, and 15 representatives of the general public validated the module using the Educational Content Validation Instrument in Health and the Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool for Audiovisual Materials questionnaire. RESULTS The scientific content of the educational script received satisfactory agreements among the experts (content validity index [CVI]: 0.93) and representatives of the general public (CVI: 0.86). The technical aspects of the educational multimedia were rated to have high understandability (experts: 92.8%; representatives of general public: 98.8%) and actionability (experts and representatives of general public 100%). CONCLUSION Overall, the developed educational multimedia scored optimally with respect to the objective, structure, relevance of the content, actionability and understandability of the multimedia. The developed module holds the potential to be used at community and national level health educational programs or awareness campaigns to enhance public knowledge and beliefs pertaining to cognitive health. PATIENT OR PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION SLPs with expertise in the field of cognitive science and representatives from the general public were included to validate and obtain feedback on the developed educational multimedia.

Abstract
PROBLEM Research so far has evaluated the effect of antenatal classes, but few studies have investigated its usefulness from the perspective of mothers after birth. BACKGROUND Antenatal classes evolved from pain management to a mother-centred approach, including birth plans and parenting education. Evaluating the perception of the usefulness of these classes is important to meet mother's needs. However, so far, research on the mothers' perception of the usefulness of these classes is sparse, particularly when measured after childbirth. Given that antenatal classes are considered as adult education, it is necessary to carry out this evaluation after mothers have had an opportunity to apply some of the competences they acquired during the antenatal classes during their childbirth. AIM This study investigated mothers' satisfaction and perceived usefulness of antenatal classes provided within a university hospital in Switzerland, as assessed in the postpartum period. METHODS Primiparous mothers who gave birth at a Swiss university hospital from January 2018 to September 2020 were contacted. Those who had attended the hospital's antenatal classes were invited to complete a questionnaire consisting of a quantitative and qualitative part about usefulness and satisfaction about antenatal classes. Quantitative data were analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Qualitative data were analysed using thematic analysis. FINDINGS Among the 259 mothers who answered, 61% (n = 158) were globally satisfied with the antenatal classes and 56.2% (n = 145) found the sessions useful in general. However, looking at the utility score of each theme, none of them achieved a score of usefulness above 44%. The timing of some of these sessions was questioned. Some mothers regretted the lack of accurate information, especially on labour complications and postnatal care. DISCUSSION Antenatal classes were valued for their peer support. However, in their salutogenic vision of empowerment, they did not address the complications of childbirth, even though this was what some mothers needed. Furthermore, these classes could also be more oriented towards the postpartum period, as requested by some mothers. CONCLUSION Revising antenatal classes to fit mothers' needs could lead to greater satisfaction and thus a better impact on the well-being of mothers and their families.

Abstract
BACKGROUND If the purpose of maternal education is for women to take control of their own health and that of their family in the process, it is essential to have a simple instrument that allows them to self-assess, globally, how prepared they are to face future childbirth and maternity. As there is nothing similar in our area, the objective of this study was to design a complete, specific measurement questionnaire, with good metric quality and in digital format, for the assessment of perinatal psychosocial needs. METHODS A cross-sectional study was carried out, to evaluate the psychometric properties of a digital measurement questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed in 4 steps following the recommendations of the International Test Commission. The participants were 263 pregnant women who were recruited in primary health care appointments in the Basque Healthcare Service (Osakidetza); they completed the newly created questionnaire and all the test selected as gold standard. Their mean age was 33.55 (SD = 4.73). The analysis of the psychometric characteristics was based on mixed expert judgment procedures (focus group of healthcare professionals, item assessment questionnaire and interviews with users) and quantitative procedures (EFA, CFA, association with the gold standard and classification agreement index, ordinal alpha and McDonald's omega). RESULTS The final version of the questionnaire was made up of 55 items that evaluate 8 aspects related to perinatal psychosocial well-being (anxious-depressive symptoms, pregnancy acceptance, partner support, coping, internal locus of control, childbirth self-efficacy, perception of childbirth as a medicalized event, and fear of childbirth). Various tests were made of the validity and reliability of the scores, providing metric guarantees for their use in our context. CONCLUSIONS The use of this complete, quick-to-use tool with good psychometric properties will allow pregnant women to take stock of their situation, assess whether they have the necessary resources in the psychological and social sphere, and work together with midwives and other health professionals in the areas that are lacking.

Abstract
Background Gestational diabetes is the most common medical complication in pregnancy, and the psychosocial health of women suffering from this condition affects their adherence to treatment and self-efficacy. However, since it is not possible to design interventions dealing with all of these needs, the aim of this study was to prioritize the psychosocial supportive needs of women with gestational diabetes. Materials and Methods This was a modified Delphi design study involving 22 experts who were selected using purposive and snowball sampling methods. The study was conducted between April 2021 and June 2021. First, the psychosocial needs of diabetic pregnant women were extracted through a qualitative study involving interviews with multidisciplinary specialists and diabetic pregnant mothers (22 participants) and a systematic review of reputable scientific databases. Throughout the two Delphi stages, the questionnaire was classified, quantified, and analyzed. Results Based on the results of this study, the following are the top priorities when addressing the psychosocial needs of mothers with gestational diabetes: paying attention to and identifying the mother's worries and anxiety, husband and family support for diabetic pregnant women, the inclusion of specialized nutrition counseling services in mothers' treatment plan, timely education of mothers about diabetes and its complications, and proper nutrition for diabetic mothers. Conclusions The priorities of the supportive needs obtained in this study can be used to design interventions aimed at promoting psychosocial health, reducing stress and anxiety, and improving medication adherence in women with gestational diabetes.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Despite the fact that the Global Strategy for Women's, Children's and Adolescents' Health (2016-2030) recognises the special importance of care for women during the postpartum period, thus highlighting the need to identify and measure any condition that may affect the welfare of pregnant women in any way, this is one of the most neglected stages in the health system. Given the absence in our area of global, efficient instruments, the objective of this study was to design a complete, specific measurement tool with good metric qualities in digital format for the evaluation of self-reported health and well-being during the puerperium, to conform to what was proposed by the ICHOM. METHODS A cross-sectional study was carried out to evaluate the psychometric characteristics of a digital measurement tool. The development of the tool was carried out in 4 steps, following the recommendations of the International Test Commission. It was tested on 280 puerperas attending primary healthcare appointments in the Basque Healthcare System (Osakidetza), and they did the newly created survey, answering all the questions that had been selected as the gold standard. The average age of the women was 34.93 (SD = 4.80). The analysis of the psychometric characteristics was based on mixed procedures of expert judgment (a focus group of healthcare professionals, an item evaluation questionnaire and interviews with users) and quantitative evaluations (EFA, CFA, and correlation with gold standard, ordinal alpha and McDonald's omega). RESULTS The final version of the tool comprised 99 items that evaluate functional state, incontinence, sexuality, breastfeeding, adaptation to the role of mother and mental health, and all of these questions can be used globally or partially. It was found that the scores were valid and reliable, which gives metric guarantees for using the tool in our area. CONCLUSIONS The use of this comprehensive concise tool with good psychometric properties will allow women to take stock of their situation, assess if they have the necessary resources, in psychological and social terms, and work together with midwives and other healthcare professionals on the most deficient areas.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Pregnancy-related mortality in the United States is the greatest among all high-income countries, and Georgia has one of the highest maternal mortality rates-almost twice the national rate. Furthermore, inequities exist in rates of pregnancy-related deaths. In Georgia, non-Hispanic Black women are nearly 3 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than non-Hispanic White women. Unlike health equity, a clear definition of maternal health equity is lacking, overall and in Georgia specifically, but is needed to reach consensus and align stakeholders for action. Therefore, we used a modified Delphi method to define maternal health equity in Georgia and to determine research priorities based on gaps in understanding of maternal health in Georgia. METHODS Thirteen expert members of the Georgia Maternal Health Research for Action Steering Committee (GMHRA-SC) participated in an iterative, consensus-driven, modified Delphi study comprised of 3 rounds of anonymous surveys. In round 1 (web-based survey), experts generated open-ended concepts of maternal health equity and listed research priorities. In rounds 2 (web-based meeting) and 3 (web-based survey), the definition and research priorities suggested during round 1 were categorized into concepts for ranking based on relevance, importance, and feasibility. Final concepts were subjected to a conventional content analysis to identify general themes. RESULTS The consensus definition of maternal health equity created after undergoing the Delphi method is: maternal health equity is the ultimate goal and ongoing process of ensuring optimal perinatal experiences and outcomes for everyone as the result of practices and policies free of interpersonal or structural bias that tackle current and historical injustices, including social, structural, and political determinants of health impacting the perinatal period and life course. This definition highlights addressing the current and historical injustices manifested in the social determinants of health, and the structural and political structures that impact the perinatal experience. CONCLUSION The maternal health equity definition and identified research priorities will guide the GMHRA-SC and the broader maternal health community for research, practice, and advocacy in Georgia.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Over the past 50 years, the content and structure of antenatal education classes have varied to reflect social norms of the time, the setting and context in which they have been held and who has facilitated them. In recent times, antenatal and parenting education classes have become a smorgasbord of information, offering a range of diverse content. Where and how parents-to-be may access formal antenatal and parenting education classes are also varied. Even before the lockdown challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, many antenatal and parenting education classes had become available and accessible online. While the flexibility and accessibility of this option are apparent, scant research to date has reported on parents' experiences of undertaking online antenatal education. OBJECTIVES The objectives of this study were to explore new parents' experiences of engaging in online antenatal education, and to discover how consumers of online antenatal education perceive it should be designed and delivered. DESIGN/METHODS A mixed-methods design was used for this study, which was conducted with 294 past enrolees in a range of online antenatal and early parenting education programmes delivered by one private provider in Australia. The past enrolees were invited to participate in the study by email, wherein a link to an online information sheet and survey containing closed- and open-ended questions was provided. The responses to the open-ended questions that are reported in this article were analysed using a thematic approach that involved coding, sub-categorizing and then categorizing the data. RESULTS A total of 108 participants provided qualitative data about the delivery and design of online antenatal education and information. The data were captured in three themes: video control and content, accessibility and pre-/intra-programme support. CONCLUSIONS The results of this study provide important insights for the development of online antenatal education programmes and courses that will be of interest to antenatal educators, maternity services and maternity care policy developers. Specifically, millennial parents want trustworthy and accurate antenatal education that is delivered in a framework that aligns with and builds on adult-learning principles. The diversity of families and of expectant parents' learning styles is also important to recognize in antenatal education curricula.

Abstract
BACKGROUND A frame of reference is needed to increase the comparability of vocational rehabilitation assessment instruments and the interpretation of their results. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is a relevant framework, and when linking rules are used, items from existing assessment instruments can be linked to the appropriate categories as described in the ICF. OBJECTIVE To develop an adapted linking methodology in which experts are involved by means of the application of consensus methods and to transfer this result in a step-by-step set of guidelines, supporting researchers and professionals, linking complex instruments to the ICF. METHODS The main researcher developed the initial linking of the Integration von Menschen mit Behinderungen in die Arbeitswelt (IMBA) to the ICF by rigorously applying the refined ICF linking rules. To validate this linking, the Delphi and nominal group technique was integrated through different steps, and experts were involved in the process. The method section describes the linking process chronologically with focuses on the used approach, the involvement of experts, and the processing of the output. RESULTS The results are presented in a 7-step set of guidelines describing the chronological process from the initial to the validated linking. These guidelines describe the core elements in the application of the linking rules and consensus methods in a manual for researchers who are interested in linking complex instruments to the ICF by involving experts. CONCLUSIONS The Delphi and nominal group technique can be successfully integrated in the linking process, making it possible to involve experts in linking complex instruments to the ICF. A homogeneous composition of the expert panel in terms of knowledge, a heterogeneous composition in terms of setting, a rigorous and repeated application of the linking rules, and structured processing of the output are essential to achieve a valid linking.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION EHealth can help health service users take a more active role in decision-making and help health professionals guide the patient in this process. A digital tool has been designed to support maternal education (ME), and it is organised into four areas: (1) information, (2) communication, (3) health self-management and (4) clinical data. The main objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the EMAeHealth digital tool, and assess its usability and acceptability under routine conditions. METHODS AND ANALYSIS Hybrid implementation-effectiveness design: (1) A cluster randomised, prospective, longitudinal, multicentre clinical trial to evaluate the effectiveness of EMAeHealth in (A) improving health-related quality of life (primary outcome), (B) improving self-efficacy for labour and childbirth and self-efficacy in breast feeding and (C) reducing the number of visits to the obstetric emergency services and health centre in situations of 'non-pathological pregnancy', 'false labour pains' and 'non-pathological puerperium'. The EMAeHealth intervention plus usual care will be compared with receiving only usual care, which includes traditional ME. N=1080 participants, 540 for each study arm. Two measurements will be made throughout the pregnancy and three in the first 16 weeks post partum. (2) A mixed-method study to evaluate the usability and acceptability of the tool, barriers and facilitators for its use, and implementation in our health system: focus groups (women, professionals and agents involved) and a quantitative analysis of implementation indicators. ANALYSIS It will be carried out by intention to treat, using mixed models taking into account the hierarchical structure of the data and per protocol to evaluate the effectiveness of the express use of the digital tool. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION Clinical Research Ethics Committee of Euskadi, Spain, (Ref: PI2020044) approved this study. The results will be actively disseminated through manuscript publications and conference presentations. TRIAL REGISTRATION NUMBER NCT04937049.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Antenatal education aims to prepare expectant parents for pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. Studies have reported antenatal education teaching breathing and relaxation methods for pain relief, termed psychoprophylaxis, is associated with reduction in caesarean section rates compared with general birth and parenting classes. Given the rising rates of caesarean section, we aimed to determine whether there was a difference in mode of birth in women based on the type of antenatal education attended. MATERIALS AND METHODS A cross-sectional antenatal survey of nulliparous women ≥28 weeks gestation with a singleton pregnancy was conducted in two maternity hospitals in Sydney, Australia in 2018. Women were asked what type of antenatal education they attended and sent a follow-up survey post-birth. Hospital birth data were also obtained. Education was classified into four groups: psychoprophylaxis, birth and parenting, other, or none. RESULTS Five hundred and five women with birth data were included. A higher proportion of women who attended psychoprophylaxis education had a vaginal birth (instrumental/spontaneous) (79%) compared with women who attended birth and parenting, other or no education (69%, 67%, 60%, respectively P = 0.045). After adjusting for maternal characteristics, birth and hospital factors, the association was attenuated (odds ratio 2.03; 95% CI 0.93-4.43). CONCLUSIONS Women who attended psychoprophylaxis couple-based education had a trend toward higher rates of vaginal birth. Randomised trials comparing different types of antenatal education are required to determine whether psychoprophylaxis education can reduce caesarean section rates and improve other birth outcomes.

Abstract
Although a number of international diet and lifestyle guidelines during pregnancy (DLGP) exist in the literature, contextualization to low- and middle-income settings is less common. The aim of this study was to present the Lebanese DLGP and to describe the process followed for their development. A mixed-method approach was used including a review and synthesis of existing international DLGP and a consensus building nominal group technique (NGT) with a multidisciplinary group of experts (n = 11). During the meeting, participants identified the themes of the guidelines, formulated the wording of each themes' guideline and translated the guidelines to the Arabic language. Consensus was defined as an agreement of 80%. Reviewing the literature, a list of 17 main topics were found to be common themes for the DLGP. For the Lebanese DLGP, participants in the NGT meeting selected seven themes from this list: gestational weight gain, diet diversity, hydration, food safety, harmful foods, physical activity and breastfeeding. In addition, the group formulated three themes based on merging/modifying existing themes: supplementation, alcohol and smoking and religious fasting. Two context-specific new themes emerged: wellbeing and nutrition resilience. For each of the identified themes, the group agreed upon the wording of its guidelines and description. This study is the first from the Eastern Mediterranean Region to develop through consensus building, context and culture-specific dietary and lifestyle guidelines for pregnant women. Putting maternal nutrition at the heart of tackling malnutrition and its detrimental health outcomes is a core investment for a better maternal and child health.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to clarify the current status and issues of community collaboration in heart failure (HF) using a nationwide questionnaire survey. METHODS AND RESULTS We conducted a survey among hospital cardiologists and general practitioners (GPs) using a web-based questionnaire developed with the Delphi method, to assess the quality of community collaboration in HF. We received responses from 46 of the 47 prefectures in Japan, including from 281 hospital cardiologists and 145 GPs. The survey included the following characteristics and issues regarding community collaboration. (1) Hospital cardiologists prioritized medical intervention for preventing HF hospitalization and death whereas GPs prioritized supporting the daily living of patients and their families. (2) Hospital cardiologists have not provided information that meets the needs of GPs, and few regions have a community-based system that allows for the sharing of information about patients with HF. (3) In the transition to home care, there are few opportunities for direct communication between hospitals and community staff, and consultation systems are not well developed. CONCLUSIONS The current study clarified the real-world status and issues of community collaboration for HF in Japan, especially the differences in priorities for HF management between hospital cardiologists and GPs. Our data will contribute to the future direction and promotion of community collaboration in HF management.

Abstract
Other than being a physiological process, pregnancy is a condition characterized by major adaptations of maternal endocrine and metabolic homeostasis that are necessary to accommodate the fetoplacental unit. Unfortunately, all these systemic, cellular, and molecular changes in maternal physiology also make the mother and the fetus more prone to adverse outcomes, including numerous alterations arising from viral infections. Common infections during pregnancy that have long been recognized as congenitally and perinatally transmissible to newborns include toxoplasmosis, rubella, cytomegalovirus, and herpes simplex viruses (originally coined as ToRCH infections). In addition, enterovirus, parvovirus B19, hepatitis virus, varicella-zoster virus, human immunodeficiency virus, Zika and Dengue virus, and, more recently, coronavirus infections including Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome (MERS) and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) infections (especially the novel SARS-CoV-2 responsible for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic), constitute relevant targets for current research on maternal-fetal interactions in viral infections during pregnancy. Appropriate maternal education from preconception to the early postnatal period is crucial to promote healthy pregnancies in general and to prevent and/or reduce the impact of viral infections in particular. Specifically, an adequate lifestyle based on proper nutrition plans and feeding interventions, whenever possible, might be crucial to reduce the risk of virus-related gestational diseases and accompanying complications in later life. Here we aim to provide an overview of the emerging literature addressing the impact of nutrition in the context of potentially harmful viral infections during pregnancy.

Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine whether childbirth education conducted over 3 or more sessions is more effective than courses conducted over 1 or 2 sessions. This was a secondary analysis of 2853 participants in a longitudinal study of women recruited during their first pregnancy. Data on childbirth education attendance were collected during the 1-month postpartum interview. The Kruskal-Wallis test for ranks was used for univariate analysis by the number of class sessions, and logistic regression was used to compare no education with any childbirth education, single-session, 2-session, and 3-or-more-session courses. Primary outcomes included induction of labor, cesarean delivery, use of pain medication, and shared decision-making. Attending 3 or more education sessions was associated with a decreased risk of planned cesarean delivery and increased shared decision-making. Attending any childbirth education was associated with lower odds of using pain medication in labor, reduced odds of planned cesarean delivery, and increased shared decision-making. Childbirth education was not associated with induction of labor. Childbirth education can be provided over 3 or more sessions. This finding can be used to develop evidence-based childbirth education programs.

Abstract
Healthy lifestyle habits spanning from preconception to postpartum are considered as a major safeguard for achieving successful pregnancies and for the prevention of gestational diseases. Among preconception priorities established by the World Health Organization (WHO) are healthy diet and nutrition, weight management, physical activity, planned pregnancy and physical, mental and psychosocial health. Most studies covering the topic of healthy pregnancies focus on maternal diet because obesity increases the risks for adverse perinatal outcomes, including gestational diabetes mellitus, large for gestational age newborns, or preeclampsia. Thus, foods rich in vegetables, essential and polyunsaturated fats and fibre-rich carbohydrates should be promoted especially in overweight, obese or diabetic women. An adequate intake of micronutrients (e.g. iron, calcium, folate, vitamin D and carotenoids) is also crucial to support pregnancy and breastfeeding. Moderate physical activity throughout pregnancy improves muscle tone and function, besides decreasing the risk of preeclampsia, gestational diabesity (i.e. diabetes associated with obesity) and postpartum overweight. Intervention studies claim that an average of 30 min of exercise/day contributes to long-term benefits for maternal overall health and wellbeing. Other factors such as microbiome modulation, behavioural strategies (e.g. smoking cessation, anxiety/stress reduction and sleep quality), maternal genetics and age, social class and education might also influence the maternal quality of life. These factors contribute to ensure a healthy pregnancy, or at least to reduce the risk of adverse maternal and foetal outcomes during pregnancy and later in life.

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the research priorities of clinical nurses to
develop a research program at a health care services system that includes three
hospitals. A Delphi survey was emailed to all clinical nurses in two rounds. The
Delphi method was used to collect data from the nurses in regards to their
priority research themes, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and
comparative statistics. A total of 933 clinical nurses returned the first round
of the Delphi survey and 543 nurses answered the second round. Clinical nurses
identified 89 potential research themes. Patient safety and ethical challenges
were the two highest ranked research priorities. The 40 highest ranked priority
research themes were closely associated with issues concerning patient care and
ethics. However, the nurses also gave high ratings to issues relating to the
work environment, questions about technology implementation, and patient
involvement in clinical care decisions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There is an unquestionable need to adapt health care to the needs of each woman, to foster her self-confidence and provide her with the autonomy to manage her own maternity. This involves empowering her to choose and face her model of childbirth and childcare responsibly. The range of self-management health needs tests offered by the scientific community at this stage of life is practically non-existent. In this project, we intend to develop and evaluate the validity, reliability and ease of use of two self-administered analysis instruments for: 1.- Needs of women preparing for childbirth and 2.- Identification of alarm symptoms in the puerperium. METHODS This is a descriptive study of the clinimetric characteristics and usability of two developed self-applied digital instruments for measuring needs in childbirth and postpartum based on the recommendations made in the consensus-based standards for the selection of health measurement instruments (COSMIN) and by the International Test Commission (ITC). The study consists of two phases: 1 - Evaluation of the clinimetric properties of the two instruments, which were developed and then altered, based on their comprehensibility and global usability estimated from a pilot study and 2 - Pre-implementation study. DISCUSSION The final product will be two valid, reliable, usable instruments for self-assessment of health needs that are highly acceptable to young couples and the professionals who serve them. They will be a valuable resource for meeting the needs of the population more efficiently and guiding decision-making, and they will contribute to the greater sustainability of the health system.

Abstract
Prenatal care, understood as routine care provided during pregnancy, should be based on basic pillars, such as taking into account the sociocultural context in which such care is offered, ensuring that the service is appropriate, accessible and of high quality, and also with care personalized. According to World Health Organization, the minimum number of recommended visits during pregnancy should be eight, with the different professionals involved in the process, in addition to preparing for childbirth or maternal education. Since the pandemic erupted due to SARS-CoV-2, many of the usual social health services have had to adapt to provide safety and prevent infection, a priority in vulnerable groups where pregnant women are found. Professionals have had to adapt to telematics care, thus attending consultations to reduce the mobility of pregnant women to health centers, thus avoiding unnecessary risks. Therefore, all this situation has opened a virtual field of work that, although previously carried out in different areas, now more than ever acquires special relevance and for which professional training is necessary, as a complement to face-to-face appointments.

Abstract
Short, longer and programmatic rural attachments have developed in a number of medical programmes around the world. However, there is limited literature on the development of the underpinning learning outcomes to guide these attachments. Rural populations are commonly under-served and the specific needs and challenges of rural health care need to be emphasised, as well as encouraging future practice in these areas. Our aim was to produce common rural-specific learning outcomes, aligned with a rationalisation of existing guiding principles and objectives, for our medical student regional-rural programmes. This was achieved through a Delphi technique involving the relevant clinical teachers and supervisors. Forty-nine consenting participants collectively provided 72 learning outcomes which were synthesised down to 16. A consensus process was used to anonymously rate and then rank to reach consensus for the top four learning outcomes. The learning outcomes were placed within the theoretical framework of a 'pedagogy of place' based on rurality and triangulated with rural learning outcomes from an Australian study. The four final outcomes were resolved around two areas of 'place': geographical and developmental. The co-design approach enabled those involved in providing the rural exposure education to generate appropriate learning outcomes.
