Abstract
Children with autism from underserved communities face complex system-, provider-, and family-level barriers to accessing timely diagnosis and early intervention. The current study evaluated the preliminary effects and feasibility of a new program (ECHO Autism LINKS) that integrated pediatric primary care provider (PCP) training with family navigation (FN) to bridge the gaps between screening, referral, and service access. Three cohorts of PCPs (n = 42) participated in the program, which consisted of 60-minute sessions delivered by Zoom twice per month for 12 months. Each session included didactics, case-based learning, and collaborative discussion with participants and an interdisciplinary team of experts. Family navigators were members of the expert team and provided FN services to families referred by PCP participants. Program attendance and engagement were strong, with 40 cases presented and 258 families referred for FN services, most of whom (83%) needed help accessing and connecting with services, and 13% required ongoing support due to complex needs. PCPs demonstrated significant improvements in self-efficacy in providing best-practice care for children with autism, reported high satisfaction, and observed improved knowledge and practice as a result of the program. The results of this initial pilot provide support for the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy of the ECHO Autism LINKS program. The model holds promise in addressing complex barriers to healthcare access by providing both PCPs and families with the knowledge and support they need. Future research is needed to evaluate the efficacy and effectiveness of the program in improving child and family outcomes.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Research on effectively navigating older adults into primary care is urgently needed. Community-clinic linkage models (CCLMs) aim to improve population health by linking the health and community sectors in order to improve patients' access to healthcare and, ultimately, population health. However, research on community-based points of entry linking adults with untreated medical needs into the healthcare sector is nascent. CCLMs implemented for the general adult population are not necessarily accessible to older adults. Given the recency of the CCLM literature and the seeming rarity of CCLM interventions designed for older adults, it is appropriate to employ scoping review methodology in order to generate a comprehensive review of the available information on this topic. This protocol will inform a scoping review that reviews characteristics of community-based programmes that link older adults with the healthcare sector. METHODS AND ANALYSIS The present protocol was developed as per JBI Evidence Synthesis best practice guidance and reporting items for the development of scoping review protocols. The proposed scoping review will follow Levac and colleagues' update to Arksey and O'Malley's scoping review methodology. Healthcare access at the system and individual levels will be operationalised in data extraction and analysis in accordance with Levesque and colleagues' Conceptual Framework of Access to Health. The protocol complies with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for scoping reviews. Beginning in August 2023 or later, citation databases (AgeLine (Ebsco); CINAHL Complete; MEDLINE (PubMed); Scopus Advanced (Elsevier); Social Services Abstracts (ProQuest); Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate)) and grey literature (Google; American Public Health Association Annual Meeting Conference Proceedings; SIREN Evidence & Resource Library) will be searched. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION The authors plan to disseminate their findings in conference proceedings and publication in a peer-reviewed journal and deposit extracted data in the Figshare depository. Abstract
INTRODUCTION The transition from paediatric to adult healthcare comes with risk and vulnerability for young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders and their carers. Deficits in health, social and disability systems and the fragmentation of services exacerbate problems during the transition period, leaving young people and their carers feeling disconnected with existing services. With advances in healthcare, the number of young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders requiring transition services is increasing. This scoping review aims to summarise the strategies and tools that help ease the transition to adult services for young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders. METHODS AND ANALYSIS Systematic searches of MEDLINE, EMBASE and PsychInfo on the OVID platform were performed on 28/05/2022. Studies that describe tools or strategies designed to ease the transition from child-centred to adult-orientated healthcare for young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders will be included. Two authors will independently review titles, abstracts and full-text articles against the inclusion criteria to determine eligibility. Data will be extracted and synthesised using descriptive stats and thematic analysis. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews guidelines will be followed. CONCLUSION This scoping review will synthesise the published literature describing strategies and tools to improve the transition of young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders to adult services. The findings of the review may inform areas of future research to improve care for all involved in the transition process. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION This review will include published data; as such, ethics approval is not required. We will publish our findings in an open-access, peer-reviewed journal and summarise the results for dissemination to the wider community of clinicians, allied healthcare professionals, teaching professionals, policymakers, non-governmental organisations, impacted youth and parents.

Abstract
Patient navigation (PN) represents a branch of service delivery traditionally aimed at coordinating disjointed care services for patients with particular health conditions (e.g., cancer, HIV, diabetes). Over time, this approach has been extended to various social and health contexts, including most recently to children with neurodisability and their families. In this context, PN involves the provision of information, advice, education, and emotional support, coordination of services both within and across sectors, and the work is guided by person- and family-centred principles of practice. This manuscript documents the proceedings of the BC Summit on Navigation for Children and Youth with Neurodevelopmental Differences, Disabilities, and Special Needs, which took place on January 18 and 19, 2021 and was developed in collaboration with a Provincial Advisory Group. Our Summit brought together over 120 individuals, including researchers, government personnel, service providers, educators, healthcare workers, and family advocates. As part of the event, attendees learned from families with lived experience navigating the British Columbian (BC) service system, from BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute investigators, and from exemplar providers who deliver navigation services in various contexts (e.g., locally, regionally, and provincially). Attendees also participated in various engagement opportunities, and collaboratively identified directions for developing a future community of navigation and related services in BC.
