Abstract
BACKGROUND Although patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) must cope with psychological distress and isolation during an extended transplant hospitalization, psychosocial interventions to address these unmet needs are lacking. Virtual reality offers an innovative modality to deliver a patient-centered psychosocial intervention to address psychosocial needs of patients undergoing HSCT. However, there are currently no supportive care interventions leveraging virtual reality in patients undergoing HSCT. OBJECTIVE To describe the methods of a randomized clinical trial (RCT) to assess the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of a self-administered, virtual reality-delivered psychosocial intervention (BMT-VR) to improve psychological distress and quality of life (QOL) for patients hospitalized for HSCT. METHODS This study entails a single-center RCT of BMT-VR compared to usual transplant care in 80 patients hospitalized for HSCT. Adult patients with hematologic malignancies hospitalized for autologous or allogeneic HSCT are eligible. BMT-VR includes psychoeducation about the HSCT process, psychosocial skill building to promote effective coping and acceptance, and self-care and positive psychology skills to promote post-HSCT recovery. The primary aim is to assess the feasibility defined a priori as ≥60% of eligible patients enrolling in the study, and of those enrolled and randomized to the BMT-VR, ≥ 60% completing 4/6 BMT-VR modules. Secondary objectives include assessing the preliminary effects on psychological distress and QOL. DISCUSSION This is the first RCT of a virtual reality-delivered psychosocial intervention for the HSCT population. If deemed feasible, a future larger multi-site clinical trial can evaluate the efficacy of BMT-VR on outcomes for patients hospitalized for HSCT.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Despite advances in cancer research and treatment, the burden of cancer is not evenly distributed. People experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage have higher rates of cancer, later stage at diagnoses, and are dying of cancers that are preventable and screen-detectable. However, less is known about barriers to accessing cancer treatment. METHODS We conducted a scoping review of studies examining barriers to accessing cancer treatment for populations experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage in high-income countries, searched across four biomedical databases. Studies published in English between 2008 and 2021 in high-income countries, as defined by the World Bank, and reporting on barriers to cancer treatment were included. RESULTS A total of 20 studies were identified. Most (n = 16) reported data from the United States, and the remaining included publications were from Canada (n = 1), Ireland (n = 1), United Kingdom (n = 1), and a scoping review (n = 1). The majority of studies (n = 9) focused on barriers to breast cancer treatment. The most common barriers included: inadequate insurance and financial constraints (n = 16); unstable housing (n = 5); geographical distribution of services and transportation challenges (n = 4); limited resources for social care needs (n = 7); communication challenges (n = 9); system disintegration (n = 5); implicit bias (n = 4); advanced diagnosis and comorbidities (n = 8); psychosocial dimensions and contexts (n = 6); and limited social support networks (n = 3). The compounding effect of multiple barriers exacerbated poor access to cancer treatment, with relevance across many social locations. CONCLUSION This review highlights barriers to cancer treatment across multiple levels, and underscores the importance of identifying patients at risk for socioeconomic disadvantage to improve access to treatment and cancer outcomes. Findings provide an understanding of barriers that can inform future, equity-oriented policy, practice, and service innovation.

Abstract
Patients' satisfaction with their interaction with the healthcare providers has been found to correlate with adherence to therapeutic plans and better health outcomes. Healthcare providers are experiencing barriers when communicating with specific population subgroups, such as people with low health literacy, low education, and older age. Enhancing the communication skills of the healthcare providers working with older adults could facilitate their interaction with the patients. This study presents the validation of the Self-efficacy-12 (SE-12) in Greek. This is an instrument measuring healthcare providers' self-efficacy of communication skills used during their interaction with older patients. A sample of 230 healthcare providers working with older adults participated in the study. The scale showed good psychometric properties (S-CVI=.97, Cronbach a = .95, ICC = .81). A medium to high correlation was found with the generalized self-efficacy questionnaire. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) yielded two factors ("Self-efficacy in communication skills and strategies" and "Self-efficacy of successful interaction") with good psychometric properties. The SE-12-GR is a brief, valid, and reliable tool for assessing self-efficacy of communication skills and it could be integrated as part of the health literacy tools for healthcare providers working with older people in Greece.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the validity evidence of the Brazilian version of the Cancer Behavior Inventory - Brief Version. METHOD Methodological study, conducted between November and December 2021, with 140 patients undergoing hospital cancer treatment in João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil. Psychometric analyses were performed in the adapted version, using exploratory factor analysis and correlation with correlated constructs. RESULTS A two-factor and 10-item model was evidenced. The cumulative variance explained about 61% the shared variance of the items. Satisfactory values were observed for the factors in the analyses of composite reliability (0.89 and 0.91, respectively), internal consistency (0.86 and 0.91, respectively) and ORION (0.89 and 0.85, respectively). The expected correlations of self-efficacy with quality of life (convergent) and with anxiety and depression (divergent) were evident. CONCLUSION The Brazilian version of the instrument showed evidence of validity, being considered reliable to assess the self-efficacy of patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND More than half the long-term survivors of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation develop chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), a debilitating inflammatory syndrome. Supportive interventions to assist survivors in coping with chronic GVHD are critically needed. PATIENTS AND METHODS We conducted a pilot randomized clinical trial of a multidisciplinary group intervention (Horizons Program; n=39) versus minimally enhanced usual care (n=41) for patients with moderate or severe chronic GVHD. Horizons participants received 8 weekly sessions about GVHD and coping co-led by a transplant clinician and a behavioral health expert via a secure videoconferencing platform. Participants completed the following surveys before randomization, at 10 weeks, and at 18 weeks: Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Bone Marrow Transplant Scale (FACT-BMT) for quality of life (QoL), Lee Symptom Scale for symptom burden, and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale-Depression Symptoms (HADS) for mood. The primary endpoint was feasibility (≥50% enrollment, ≥80% attendance in half the sessions for the Horizons arm only, and ≥80% retention). We also explored preliminary efficacy of the Horizons intervention on changes in patient-reported outcomes with linear mixed effects models and estimates of effect size at 10 weeks. RESULTS We enrolled and registered 80 (67.2%) of 119 eligible patients (mean age, 62 years; 48.8% female). Of the participants in the Horizons Program, 84.6% attended at least half the sessions. Of registered participants, 91.3% completed assessment follow-ups (Horizons, 35/39 [89.7%]; minimally enhanced usual care, 38/41 [92.7%]). Horizons participants reported improvements in QoL (b = 2.24; d=0.53), anxiety symptoms (b = -0.10; d=0.34), and depression symptoms (b = -0.71; d=0.44) compared with participants who received minimally enhanced usual care. CONCLUSIONS Participation in a multidisciplinary group intervention study was feasible for patients with chronic GVHD, with promising signals for improving QoL and mood. A full-scale efficacy trial is needed to confirm effects on patient-reported outcomes.

Abstract
This review analyzed the effects of an exercise program on psychoemotional and quality-of-life (QoL) factors in adult patients with cancer and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) or bone marrow transplantation (BMT). Studies were identified from the PubMed and Web of Science databases (from inception to 24 August 2022), according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) checklist. The methodological quality of the included studies was assessed with the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scale, based in turn on the Delphi list. A total of 20 randomized controlled studies were included with 1219 participants. The main result of this systematic review is that exercise program interventions produce improvements on psychoemotional and QoL factors in adult patients with cancer and HSCT or BMT. Moreover, exercise programs may have a beneficial effect on health, maintaining or increasing the patient's QoL. Further, it has a positive effect on the prevention and control of transplant complications in combination with medical treatment.

Abstract
Among patients with suspected early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), we sought to evaluate the association of patient-clinician communication (PCC) with patient-centered outcomes (PCOs). We conducted a multicenter, prospective cohort study examining PCOs at five time points, up to 12-months post-treatment. We used generalized estimating equation (GEE) models adjusted for sociodemographic and clinical variables to examine the relationship between PCC (dichotomized as high- or low-quality) and decisional conflict, treatment self-efficacy, and anxiety. The cohort included 165 patients who were 62% male with a mean age of 70.7 ± SD 8.1 years. Adjusted GEE analysis including 810 observations revealed high-quality PCC was associated with no decisional conflict (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] = 0.14, 95% CI = 0.07 to 0.27) and higher self-efficacy (β = -0.26, 95% CI = -0.37 to -0.14). High-quality PCC was not associated with moderately severe anxiety (aOR = 0.68, 95% CI = 0.41 to 1.09), though was associated with decreased anxiety scores (β = -3.91, 95% CI = -6.48 to -1.35). Among individuals with suspected early-stage NSCLC, high-quality PCC is associated with less decisional conflict and higher self-efficacy; the relationship with anxiety is unclear. Clinicians should prioritize enhanced treatment-related communication at critical and vulnerable periods in the cancer care trajectory to improve PCOs.

self-regulation in a rehabilitation context. Data sources Pubmed, Embase, PsycInfo, and CINAHL were searched. Review methods Articles were included if they were published between January 2015 and August
2020 and reported on empirical studies (trials and observational studies)
using a measure of self-regulation or a related concept, in an adult
rehabilitation population. Main content was analysed by linking all items of
the selected measures to one or more of the six sub-themes of
self-regulation: (1) insight into physical and cognitive impairments, (2)
insight into the consequences of the impairments, (3) insight into
abilities, (4) to be able to communicate limitations, (5) trust in body and
functioning, and (6) make use of abilities. Results Two reviewers independently screened 7808 abstracts, resulting in the
inclusion of 236 articles. In these articles, 80 different measures were
used to assess self-regulation or related concept. Nineteen of these
measures met the inclusion criteria and were included for the content
analyses. Nine of these were self-efficacy measures. No measures covered
four or more of the six sub-themes of self-regulation. The three sub-themes
on gaining insights were covered less compared to the sub-domains ‘trust’
and ‘make use of abilities’. Conclusions Many measures on self-regulation exist None of these measures cover all six
sub-themes of self-regulation considered important to measure
self-regulation as a rehabilitation outcome.

Abstract
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES To discover the current state of self-management practices and levels of self-efficacy among adults with cancer under treatment in Jeddah City, Saudi Arabia, and to identify their associated factors. BACKGROUND The prevalence of cancer and cancer treatment-related problems is increasing in Saudi Arabia. However, effective cancer care programmes are not provided in this country. DESIGN Cross-sectional correlational study. METHODS This study was conducted with a convenience sample of 130 adults with cancer under treatment from May 2020-August 2020 at the largest tertiary care hospital providing cancer care in the western region, Saudi Arabia. The study methods were compliant with the STROBE checklist. Data were collected by Self-Care Inventory, Strategies Used by People to Promote Health, and sociodemographic and clinical surveys. Descriptive statistics and stepwise linear regression analysis were performed. RESULTS The total score for self-management practices was 84.38 (SD = 13.66) and self-efficacy, as a strong associated factor of self-management, earned a total score of 104.24 (SD = 15.87). Stepwise regression analysis identified self-efficacy, age and education level as important associated variables, explaining 57.6% of the total variance in self-management practices. Significant effects of age, gender, marital status and duration of cancer on patients' self-efficacy were also found. CONCLUSIONS The levels of self-management practices and self-efficacy to manage cancer treatment-related problems demonstrated by patients with cancer in this study were rated as a medium. Self-efficacy, age and education level were the significant factors associated with self-management practices of patients in Saudi Arabia. Age, gender, marital status and duration of cancer were identified as associated factors of self-efficacy. RELEVANCE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE Enhancing patient's adherence to self-management practices and increase patient's self-efficacy through adopting educational intervention programmes, considering patient's sociodemographic and disease-related characteristics, and continuous patient education must be taken into consideration in the cancer management plan.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study explored the mediating role of dyadic coping between self-efficacy, psychological distress and marital quality among young and middle-aged couples facing lymphoma. METHODS A total of 243 couples in which the patients were lymphoma were recruited to complete Dyadic Coping Inventory, Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Scale for both. And Strategies Used by People to Promote Health, Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form for patients; General Self-Efficacy Scale and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale for spouses. We used the statistical programs SPSS 20.0 and SPSS Amos 20.0 for data analysis. RESULTS There were significant correlations between patient-spouse's dyadic coping and marriage quality scores. The patients' dyadic coping scores were significantly associated with their self-efficacy, fear of cancer recurrence scores, marriage quality, their spouse's self-efficacy, and marriage quality. The spouses' dyadic coping scores were significantly associated with their self-efficacy, anxiety, and marriage quality. The actor-partner interdependence mediation model analysis mediator effect of dyadic coping in the relationship between self-efficacy, psychological distress, and marriage quality had a good fit, with χ2 /df = 17.106, p = 0.194; root mean square error of approximation = 0.036; GFI = 0.992; CN = 243. CONCLUSIONS For both patient and spouses, dyadic coping mediated impact of self-efficacy on marriage quality of themselves and their spouses, and individuals' dyadic coping mediated impact their psychological distress on marriage quality of themselves and spouses. The study highlighted the need for couple-based interventions and including strategies combined with individual and dyadic therapy for both partners.

Abstract
PURPOSE To validate the Cancer Behavior Inventory version 3.0 - Korean (CBI 3.0 - K), a holistic measure of self-efficacy for coping with cancer by including spiritual coping subscale. METHOD Psychometric properties of the CBI 3.0 - K were evaluated among 453 cancer patients. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to examine structural validity. Internal consistency was measured with Cronbach's alpha. For convergent validity, correlations with the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Gastric Gastric Cancer Subscale (GaCS), the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Spiritual Well-Being (FACT-Sp) subscale and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire (EORTC QLQ-C30) Global Health Status/QoL subscale were analyzed. RESULTS The CBI 3.0 - K supported the original 7 factor structure of the CBI Version 3.0 with relocation of one item which reflected self-efficacy for coping utilizing personal resources. High levels of internal consistencies were demonstrated. Convergent validity was established with moderate to strong correlations with the GaCS, the HADS, the FACIT-Sp, and the EORTC QLQ-C30 subscales, and moderate correlation with the MSPSS. Known group validity with the Using Spiritual Coping subscale was demonstrated. CONCLUSIONS The CBI 3.0 - K will facilitate comprehensive assessment of patients' self-efficacy for coping by including spiritual coping subscale. Assessment on responsiveness of the CBI 3.0 - K to interventions designed to enhance coping is strongly recommended.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In a recent trial, a 6-session intervention (BMT-CARE) integrating medical information with cognitive-behavioral strategies improved quality of life (QOL), mood, coping skills, and self-efficacy for family/friend caregivers of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT) recipients. This study examined whether improvements in coping and self-efficacy mediated the intervention effects on QOL and mood. METHODS From December 2017 to April 2019, 100 caregivers of HCT recipients were enrolled into a randomized clinical trial of BMT-CARE versus usual care. Caregivers completed self-report measures of QOL (CareGiver Oncology Quality of Life questionnaire), depression and anxiety symptoms (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale), coping skills (Measure of Current Status), and self-efficacy (Cancer Self-Efficacy Scale-Transplant) at enrollment (before HCT) and 60 days after HCT. Causal mediation regression models were used to examine whether changes in coping and self-efficacy mediated intervention effects on QOL as well as depression and anxiety symptoms. RESULTS Improvements in 60-day QOL in patients assigned to BMT-CARE were partially mediated by improved coping and self-efficacy (indirect effect, 6.93; SE, 1.85; 95% CI, 3.71-11.05). Similarly, reductions in 60-day depression and anxiety symptoms were partially mediated by improved coping and self-efficacy (indirect effect for depression, -1.19; SE, 0.42; 95% CI, -2.23 to -0.53; indirect effect for anxiety, -1.46; SE, 0.55; 95% CI, -2.52 to -0.43). Combined improvements in coping and self-efficacy accounted for 67%, 80%, and 39% of the total intervention effects on QOL and depression and anxiety symptoms, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Coping and self-efficacy are essential components of a brief psychosocial intervention that improves QOL and mood for caregivers of HCT recipients during the acute recovery period. LAY SUMMARY A 6-session program (BMT-CARE) focused on providing medical information, caregiving skills, and self-care and coping strategies has been previously reported to improve the quality of life and mood of caregivers of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation recipients in comparison with caregivers who receive care as usual. Using statistical models, this study suggests that learning coping skills and improving self-efficacy are the most essential components of this program that likely lead to better quality of life and mood for caregivers.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Self-management is an important strategy for cancer survivors. Evaluating self-management is essential for planning nursing interventions that promote self-management and for measuring the contribution of nursing to health outcomes. Many patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) have been designed and used to assess self-management in cancer survivors. However, it is unclear which PROM has the best reliability and validity. Therefore, the goal is to systematically review the psychometric properties of existing self-management PROMs and determine which PROM is best for cancer survivors. METHODS AND ANALYSIS This systematic review will be conducted according to the COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement INstruments (COSMIN) guidelines for systematic reviews of PROMs. Ten electronic literature databases (PubMed, EMBASE and so on) and two websites for PROMs will be searched from inception to 1 March 2020. Studies testing the psychometric properties of PROMs assessing self-management for cancer survivors, published in either English or Chinese, will be included. Two independent reviewers determined the eligibility of the studies and will independently extract the data. Risk of bias will be assessed using the COSMIN risk-of-bias checklist, and the quality of the results will be assessed using specific COSMIN quality criteria. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION It is not necessary to obtain ethical approval for this systematic review protocol. The results will be published in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at a relevant conference. PROSPERO REGISTRATION NUMBER CRD42020149120.

Abstract
Following a diet rich in whole grains, vegetables, fruit, and beans may reduce cancer incidence and mortality. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Coping with Cancer in the Kitchen (CCK), an 8 week in-person program offering education, culinary demonstrations and food tasting, and psychosocial group support, compared to receiving CCK printed materials by mail on knowledge, confidence, and skills in implementing a plant-based diet. A total of 54 adult cancer survivors were randomly assigned to intervention (n = 26) and control groups (n = 27) with assessments at baseline, 9, and 15 weeks via self-administered survey. The response rate was 91% at 9 weeks and 58% at 15 weeks. The majority of our study participants were female breast cancer survivors (58%) who had overweight or obesity (65%). Compared with the control, there were significant (p < 0.05) increases in intervention participants’ knowledge about a plant-based diet at weeks 9 and 15, reductions in perceived barriers to eating more fruits and vegetables at week 9, and enhanced confidence and skills in preparing a plant-based diet at week 15. There was a significant reduction in processed meat intake but changes in other food groups and psychosocial measures were modest. Participation in CCK in person increased knowledge, skills, and confidence and reduced barriers to adopting a plant-based diet. Positive trends in intake of plant-based foods and quality of life warrant further investigation in larger-scale studies and diverse populations.

Abstract
Background In early-stage Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) patients, little is known about how to measure patient participation in Shared-Decision Making (SDM). We examined the psychometric properties and clinical acceptability of the Decision Self-Efficacy scale (DSE) in a cohort of patients undergoing to Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR) or Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) to capture patient involvement in treatment decisions. Methods In the context of a prospective longitudinal study (Life after Lung Cancer-LiLAC) involving 244 patients with early-stage NSCLC, 158 (64.7%) patients completed the DSE either on paper or electronically online prior to treatment with SABR or VATS pulmonary resection. DSE psychometric properties were examined using: principal components analysis of item properties and internal structure, and internal construct validity; we also performed a sensitivity analysis according to Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Performance Status (ECOG PS), gender, age and treatment received (VATS or SABR) difference. Results Exploratory factor analysis using polychoric correlations substantiated that the 11 item DSE is one scale accounting for 81% of the variance. We calculated a value of 0.96 for Cronbach’s alpha for the total DSE score. DSE scores did not differ by gender (p = 0.37), between the two treatment groups (p = 0.09) and between younger and older patients (p = 0.4). However, patients with an ECOG PS > 1 have a DSE mean of 73.8 (SD 26) compared to patients with a PS 0–1 who have a DSE mean of 85.8 (SD 20.3 p = 0.002). Conclusion Findings provide preliminary evidence for the reliability and validity of the DSE questionnaire in this population. However, future studies are warranted to identify the most appropriate SDM tool for clinical practice in the lung cancer treatment field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Caregivers of patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT) experience an immense caregiving burden before, during, and after HCT. METHODS We conducted an unblinded, randomized trial of a psychosocial intervention (BMT-CARE) for caregivers of patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic HCT at Massachusetts General Hospital. Caregivers were randomly assigned to BMT-CARE or usual care. BMT-CARE was tailored to the HCT trajectory and integrated treatment-related education and self-care with cognitive-behavioral skills to promote coping. Caregivers assigned to BMT-CARE met with a trained interventionist (a psychologist or a social worker) in person, via telephone, or via videoconferencing for 6 sessions starting before HCT and continuing up to day +60 after HCT. The primary endpoint was feasibility, which was defined as at least 60% of eligible caregivers enrolling and completing 50% or more of the intervention sessions. We assesed caregiver quality of life (QOL; Caregiver Oncology Quality of Life Questionnaire), caregiving burden (Caregiver Reaction Assessment), psychological distress (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale), self-efficacy (Cancer Self-Efficacy Scale-Transplant), and coping (Measures of Current Status) at baseline and 30 and 60 days after HCT. We used mixed linear effect models to assess the effect of BMT-CARE on outcomes longitudinally. RESULTS We enrolled 72.5% of eligible caregivers (100 of 138), and 80% attended 50% or more of the intervention sessions. Caregivers randomized to BMT-CARE reported improved QOL (B = 6.11; 95% CI, 3.50-8.71; P < .001), reduced caregiving burden (B = -6.02; 95% CI, -8.49 to -3.55; P < .001), lower anxiety (B = -2.18; 95% CI, -3.07 to -1.28; P < .001) and depression symptoms (B = -1.23; 95% CI, -1.92 to -0.54; P < .001), and improved self-efficacy (B = 7.22; 95% CI, 2.40-12.03; P = .003) and coping skills (B = 4.83; 95% CI, 3.04-6.94; P < .001) in comparison with the usual-care group. CONCLUSIONS A brief multimodal psychosocial intervention tailored for caregivers of HCT recipients is feasible and may improve QOL, mood, coping, and self-efficacy while reducing the caregiving burden during the acute HCT period.

Abstract
Background: Fatigue is a common and distressing cancer symptom that negatively affects the quality of life. Many scales have been developed to assess cancer-related fatigue. The properties of the scales vary in terms of dimensionality, reliability, validity, length and method of administration. Insufficient of psychometric properties may affect the accuracy of scales findings, that may lead result obtained questionable. The main objective of this review was to conduct a quality assessment of the psychometric properties of cancer-related fatigue scales to identify appropriate scales that could be used in research and clinical practice. Method: A systematic search was carried out to identify validated scales that measure cancer-related fatigue. Five databases were searched: CINAHL, MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO, Cochrane Library. This review was conducted following the PRISMA and Terwee et al.'s quality assessment guidelines to evaluate the psychometric properties of the studies. Result: Seventy-one different studies published between 1970 and 2018 met the inclusion criteria. Twenty-five scales were identified. Of these, eighteen were multidimensional and seven were uni-dimensional, containing between 4 and 72 items. Reliability and/or validity information was missing for many scales. Four scales met the quality assessment criteria and were reported as the most appropriate for measuring fatigue in cancer patients. Conclusion: Further psychometric testing is required for other scales. Developing a universally-defined tool kit for the assessment of cancer-related fatigue may help clarify the concept of fatigue and promote a systematic approach to fatigue measurement.
