Abstract
Introduction Hydatid disease of the male breast has not been documented in literature to date. Case report We present a case of a 46-year old male patient who presented with a painful breast lump for 1 year. On imaging, it was suspicious for hydatid disease of the breast and was successfully diagnosed preoperatively on fine-needle aspiration cytology and histopathology as hydatid disease of the breast. Discussion Incidence of hydatid disease of the breast contributes to a minute number of total cases of hydatid disease. Male breast hydatid disease was unknown prior to this report. We did find similarities in the imaging features of our case and the ones described for female breasts. On ultrasonography, we found it analogous to the 'water-lily' sign which has been described in hepatic hydatic cysts. Conclusion Keeping hydatid disease as a differential in the setting of a suspicious breast mass even in a male patient proved to be rewarding as it negated the need for further cross-sectional imaging and a definitive diagnosis could be sought based on the fine-needle aspiration cytology and histopathological findings.

Abstract
A hydatid cyst is a parasitic infestation most frequently caused by the larval tapeworm known as Echinococcus granulosus. Breast hydatidosis is a very uncommon condition that may be the main site or one of its components in cases of extensive hydatidosis. We discussed a 28-year-old female patient who had been experiencing left breast pain for a year prior to her presentation.

Abstract
Hydatid disease commonly affects liver and lungs. The rare breast involvement is usually a part of generalized hydatid disease. Primary breast hydatidosis is exceptionally rare even in endemic area. A case of isolated primary hydatid disease of the breast is reported in an elderly Indian women presenting with a painless breast lump. On clinical and imaging evaluation, the lump masqueraded a breast tumor. Fine needle aspiration cytology and core needle biopsy of the mass were inconclusive for the tumor. Complete excision of the mass was performed, which upon histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of hydatid cyst. We reviewed the relevant literature with a brief discussion on management challenges. Hydatid cyst should always constitute a differential while evaluating a breast lump especially in endemic area.

Abstract
We report a case of 59-year-old woman with a painful left breast mass, compatible with types II-III hydatid cyst. Lesion was evaluated with mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging modalities. Magnetic resonance imaging had important diagnostic role with demonstrating characteristic features of the lesion and had capability of showing complications. Surgery also confirmed the diagnosis of a hydatid cyst.

Abstract
We report a rare case of a 30-year-old breastfeeding woman who presented to our surgical outpatient department with complaints of a gradually enlarging lump in her left breast for the last 2 months. She also complained of difficulty in breastfeeding for 1 week. On examination, the right breast was normal but there was a 4 cm × 4 cm retroareolar soft lump in her left breast. Examination of the bilateral axilla was normal. A provisional diagnosis of galactocele was made and the patient was subjected to ultrasonic mammography and fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). Ultrasonic mammography of the left breast showed a heterogeneous, hypoechoic lesion with thick septations and internal echoes suggestive of a complex cystic lesion, leading to a differential diagnosis of either hydatid cyst or breast abscess. On FNAC, the aspirate was not milky and cytological examination was performed, which revealed hydatid scolices, hooklets, foamy macrophages and granular debris, leading to the final diagnosis of hydatid cyst of the breast. The patient was investigated further but there were no cysts at any other site. Chemotherapy with albendazole was started and surgery was performed after 1 month. Histopathology further confirmed the diagnosis. Owing to the rarity of presentation, this case is being reported here.

Abstract
Primary hydatid disease of breast is a rare entity and is caused by the larval stage of Echinococcus granulosus. The disease is more commonly seen in sheep-rearing populations and imaging plays a pivotal role in its diagnosis. Several imaging signs have been described in relation to hydatid cysts. However, the "scroll sign," due to the infolding of the endocyst, has rarely been encountered, with only one similar case in literature, in which the imaging findings were inconclusive. We present a case of primary hydatid disease of breast in a young Asian woman, with the sonographic scroll sign.

Abstract
Hydatid cyst of the breast is endemic in some areas like sheep-raising countries. The location of the disease is mostly in the liver and lungs. We presents a case of 66-year-old female with hydatid cyst of the breast diagnosed pre-operatively by core needle biopsy. Complete radiology workup are also provided which includes mammography, ultrasound, and computed tomography images. Hydatid cyst of the breast is extremely rare even in endemic areas, its only accounts for 0.27% of all cases. Only few reports are published in the literatures about breast hydatid cyst and majority of cases have been diagnosed post-operatively with no complete radiology workup.

Abstract
Echinococcus granulosis is known as the cause of hydatid cyst disease. It is often seen in many regions of the world, and can cause serious health problems. This parasite can invade tissues in all parts of the body and produce hydatid cysts, although it has been mainly observed in the liver and the lungs. Breast hydatid cysts are encountered rarely. After physical examination, radiological and serological tests are performed on patients with breast hydatid disease. These examinations are helpful for an early diagnosis, but they are insufficient to make a definitive diagnosis, which can only be made according to the results of histopathological examinations. We had a primary diagnosis of either fibroadenoma or malignancy in the breast during the preoperative period of the present case. A precise diagnosis could only be made by histopathological examinations in the postoperative period.

Abstract
Breast involvement of the hydatid cyst is very rare, and it accounts for 0.27% of all cases. Cases reported in the literature are generally about various cystic and calcified forms, but the solid form of hydatid cyst in the breast is quite rare. It is difficult to differentiate the breast's malignant and benign lesions from this form of hydatid cyst by imaging methods. Therefore, we aimed to present the mammographical and sonographic findings of a 50-year-old woman patient consulted to our mammography unit of whom we determined a Breast Imaging-Reporting and Data System class 4 solid lesion in the right breast and come out as hydatid cyst pathologically.
