Abstract
INTRODUCTION This prospective, observational study investigated the impact of patient/anesthesiologist interactions and socioeconomic factors on administering intravenous analgesics and anxiolytics during elective Cesarean delivery under spinal anesthesia. The study explored the role of emotional experiences and psychosocial characteristics on intraoperative administration of intravenous adjuncts. METHODS The study included 502 patient/anesthesiologist dyads from two hospitals in Israel. Patients and anesthesiologists completed questionnaires assessing pain, anxiety, medication requests, and subjective experiences. Logistic regression models were used to analyze associations between variables and medication administration. RESULTS Out of 502 patients, 110 (21.9 %) received intravenous supplementation. Only 40.6 % of patients who requested analgesics received them, while anxiolytics were administered four times more often than analgesics. Patients with higher salaries and those speaking the same language as the anesthesiologist were less likely to receive supplementation. Anesthesiologists feeling more attached to or close to patients were more likely to administer medication, while those motivated to protect patients were less likely. CONCLUSION The study revealed a substantial gap between patient requests for analgesics and their administration, as well as an overreliance on anxiolysis compared to analgesia. Unconscious attitudes related to patient factors and subjective physician perceptions played a role in medication decisions. The findings emphasize the need for better pain assessment and management training, and awareness of implicit biases in healthcare settings. Future research should investigate optimal communication strategies and address unconscious attitudes to improve patient-centered care.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Induction of labor (IOL) is common with one in four labors being induced in the United States (US). IOL has been associated with lower birth satisfaction. Video education can address gaps in education and promote anticipatory guidance. Prior studies in obstetrics have focused on randomized designs in English-speaking patients, leaving opportunities to explore how these tools perform in a pragmatic fashion with diverse patient populations. Our objective was to evaluate the effects of a video education tool on patient satisfaction and knowledge of IOL experience in English and Spanish-speaking patients scheduled for IOL at a tertiary care hospital. METHODS This was a single site pragmatic implementation of a quality improvement measure at an academic hospital. A bilingual survey was developed to evaluate the impact of an educational video on birth satisfaction and knowledge of IOL procedures. The video is freely available in English and Spanish. Baseline postpartum surveys were collected from June to July 2021. The video was subsequently recommended by providers when scheduling IOLs. Post-intervention surveys were collected from September to November 2021 after an implementation period. Groups were compared using t-tests for satisfaction scores and chi-square analyses for categorical variables. RESULTS Thirty-two participants completed the baseline survey and 72 completed the post-implementation survey with response rates of 88.9% and 91.1%, respectively. There were no statistically significant changes between mean total satisfaction scores (26.9 vs 28.0 out of 40.0, p = 0.290). 61 participants were English speaking (58%) and 43 Spanish (42%). Thirty (42%) patients reported watching the video. Correct identification of amniotomy use improved in the post-intervention group (p = 0.002). No changes were seen in anticipated duration of labor nor in whether patients would choose to be induced again. CONCLUSIONS Recommendation of video education before scheduled IOL was associated with little improvement in knowledge about IOL, but no significant improvement in patient satisfaction. While video education has improved these measures in randomized trials, our study demonstrated that real-world implementation and patient uptake may be initially difficult. This study may help providers emphasize direct education and counseling and promote optimal implementation of innovative educational media.

Abstract
This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to explore the effectiveness of preoperative multimedia educational sessions on the levels of anxiety and satisfaction among women undergoing cesarean section (CS). The Scopus, PubMed, and Cochrane databases were searched without language limitations for eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from their inception up to October 15, 2023. A random-effect meta-analysis was conducted, and the quality of this meta-analysis was evaluated using the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation) approach. Seven RCTs (n = 1006 women) met the inclusion criteria. Preoperative multimedia sessions were found to significantly reduce anxiety levels (n = 6 RCTs, weighted mean difference: -3.10; 95 percent confidence intervals (CI): -4.48, -1.73; I2 = 44.24 percent, moderate certainty of evidence) compared to the control group. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups regarding women's satisfaction after surgery (n = 5 RCTs, risk ratio: 1.37; 95 percent CI: 0.76, 2.50; I2 = 98.26 percent, moderate certainty of evidence). Leave-one-out sensitivity analysis showed robustness of the outcomes. The findings of this meta-analysis suggest that providing multimedia educational programs before surgery could potentially have a beneficial effect on the levels of anxiety experienced by women undergoing CS. However, it is imperative to validate these results through larger samples and multi-centered RCTs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Preoperative anxiety affects 60 to 80% of patients who are candidates for surgery. Reducing preoperative anxiety can improve surgical outcomes, shorten hospital stays, and minimize disruptions in lifestyle. Having information affects people ability to identify important points and improve their understanding, and lack of information causes fear and anxiety, which negatively affects decision-making. Studies have shown that the intervention of education before cesarean section has a beneficial effect on women anxiety level. Providing information before surgery can reduce patients' anxiety. This study was conducted to determine the effect of information video before elective cesarean delivery on preoperative anxiety and post-operative satisfaction. METHODS The search for relevant studies was systematically conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, SID (Persian database), and Google Scholar (search engine) until July 4, 2023, in both English and Persian languages. The revised tool for assessing the risk of bias in randomized trials (RoB 2.0) and ROBIN-I were used to evaluate the risk of bias, and heterogeneity was assessed using I². In cases of high heterogeneity, a random effects model was used instead of a fixed effects model. Subgroup analysis was performed based on the duration of the video, and the type of intervention for the primary outcome. Sensitivity analysis was conducted based on the type of study. A random-effects meta-regression analysis was conducted to identify potential sources of high heterogeneity for preoperative anxiety. The certainty of the evidence was assessed using GRADE. RESULTS A total number of 557 articles were found in databases. Three hundred sixty-eight studies were screened based on their titles, abstracts, and full texts. Of these, 16 studies were assessed for eligibility, and 7 were excluded. Ultimately, nine papers were included. Meta-analysis results showed that the information video before elective cesarean delivery compared to control group may have little or no effect on preoperative anxiety, but the evidence is uncertain (SMD - 0.22, 95% CI -0.51 to 0.06, 9 trials, 1020 participants, I2 = 80%; very low-certainty evidence). Also, it probably increases the post-operative satisfaction (SMD 0.26, 95% CI 0.10 to 0.42, 5 trials, 618 participants, I2 = 0%; Moderate-certainty evidence). The random effect meta-regression analyses indicated a significant correlation between the mean age of the intervention group (β = 0.137, P < 0.001) and the mean age of the control group (β = 0.150, P = 0.0246) with effect size. CONCLUSION This study found that watching an informational video prior to elective cesarean delivery resulted in a decrease in preoperative anxiety. However, it is important to note that the reduction was not statistically significant, and there was a high level of inconsistency among the results. Nonetheless, the intervention did lead to an improvement in women's post-operative satisfaction. To determine the optimal time duration and content type of informational videos, further studies with more appropriate methodology are necessary.

Abstract
Background Recent studies have shown that preoperative education can positively impact postoperative recovery, improving postoperative pain management and patient satisfaction. Gaps in preoperative education regarding postoperative pain and opioid use may lead to increased patient anxiety and persistent postoperative opioid use. Objectives The objective of this narrative review was to identify, examine, and summarize the available evidence on the use and effectiveness of preoperative educational interventions with respect to postoperative outcomes. Method The current narrative review focused on studies that assessed the impact of preoperative educational interventions on postoperative pain, opioid use, and psychological outcomes. The search strategy used concept blocks including "preoperative" AND "patient education" AND "elective surgery," limited to the English language, humans, and adults, using the MEDLINE ALL database. Studies reporting on preoperative educational interventions that included postoperative outcomes were included. Studies reporting on enhanced recovery after surgery protocols were excluded. Results From a total of 761 retrieved articles, 721 were screened in full and 34 met criteria for inclusion. Of 12 studies that assessed the impact of preoperative educational interventions on postoperative pain, 5 reported a benefit for pain reduction. Eight studies examined postoperative opioid use, and all found a significant reduction in opioid consumption after preoperative education. Twenty-four studies reported on postoperative psychological outcomes, and 20 of these showed benefits of preoperative education, especially on postoperative anxiety. Conclusion Preoperative patient education interventions demonstrate promise for improving postoperative outcomes. Preoperative education programs should become a prerequisite and an available resource for all patients undergoing elective surgery.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine whether a community-informed, language-concordant postpartum video education campaign, developed with community input, improves patients' knowledge of warning signs for postpartum maternal mortality (infection, hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders, and postpartum depression) compared with routine discharge procedures. METHODS A single-center, investigator-blinded, parallel-group randomized controlled trial of postpartum individuals who delivered at a large, urban, tertiary care hospital. Eligible participants were enrolled and completed a baseline knowledge questionnaire. After delivery, they were randomized to routine discharge education (control) or routine education plus video education (intervention). After discharge education, patient knowledge was again assessed in both groups before participants left the hospital. The primary outcome was the percentage of participants who showed improvement in their knowledge, measured by the number of correct questionnaire responses after education compared with their baseline, assessed as a binary outcome. A sample size of 150 (75 per group) was planned to detect a 25% absolute increase in the frequency of the primary outcome. RESULTS From July to August 2022, 296 participants were screened and 200 were randomized (100 per group). Eighty-two percent of participants had college or graduate education, and 71.5% had commercial insurance. There was no significant difference in baseline characteristics. There was no statistically significant difference in the percentage of participants who improved their scores between the baseline and posteducation questionnaires (64.5% vs 50.0%, P =.09). However, the median posteducation questionnaire total score was significantly higher in the video education group (14 [interquartile range 12-15] vs 13 [interquartile range 12-14], P =.003). In addition, they more frequently reported that video education was "very helpful" (83.9% vs 72.5%, P =.23) and that they were "very satisfied" with their education (86.1% vs 75.5%, P =.29). CONCLUSION Enhanced postpartum education through a novel video did not result in a statistically significant difference in frequency of improved score on the posteducation questionnaires but was associated with increased satisfaction with care. Abstract
Video propaganda is reported effectively improving patients' understanding of operation. However, whether a video introducing patients' most concerns can reduce preoperative anxiety and promote recovery stays unsealed. In this study, we investigated the effects of complementary therapy of educational video during preoperative visit. The results showed that thirty-five (23.2%) parents in Group Control were diagnosed as anxiety according to SAS, and nineteen (12.3%) patients were diagnosed after video intervention. The APAIs anxiety score and APAIs information score in Group Video were lower than those in Group Control. Compared with Group Control, video visit helped to increase the first-attempt pass rate of the knowledge retention exam and solve the patient's most worried concerns, and decrease incidence of emergence agitation, total cost of hospitalization and length of hospital stay. Moreover, video visit improved satisfaction degrees of patients and their main family members. Briefly, our study demonstrated video visit can improve patients' knowledge of anesthesia and decrease their preoperative anxiety, which may represent an important complementary therapy to routine preoperative visits.

Abstract
Background The Obstetric Quality of Recovery-10 (ObsQoR-10) is a validated tool for assessing the quality of postpartum recovery. This study aimed to validate the French version of the ObsQoR-10 scale (ObsQoR-10-French). Methods After translating the ObsQoR-10 into French, we conducted a psychometric validation involving internal consistency, convergent validity, construct validity, reliability, responsiveness, scaling properties, acceptability, and feasibility. French women who underwent either a vaginal delivery (spontaneous or induced labour), or an emergency or elective Caesarean section (C-section) were prospectively included. They completed the ObsQoR-10-French before delivery and at 24 h (H24) and 48 h (H48) after delivery. Results Of the 500 women included, 431 (86%) completed the questionnaire at all three timepoints. A total of 352 women (82%) underwent vaginal delivery (with 228 [53%] experiencing spontaneous labour and 124 [29%] had labour induced), whereas 53 (12%) women underwent an emergency C-section and 26 (6%) an elective C-section. The ObsQoR-10-French demonstrated excellent internal consistency with a Cronbach's coefficient of 0.81, 95% confidence interval 0.78-0.84 at H24. The tool was correlated with an 11-item global health score (P<0.001). Of the list of hypotheses for evaluating the construct validity, 81% were confirmed (negative associations between ObsQoR-10-French and length of labour, hospital stay, the need for a C-section, and the emergency level of the C-section). The Cohen effect size at H24 was 0.58. The intra-class coefficient was 0.90, 95% confidence interval 0.86-0.93 at H24. Conclusion The ObsQoR-10-French is a valid and reliable psychometric questionnaire, capable of assessing the quality of postpartum recovery in French-speaking populations. Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aimed to conduct a systematic review and to evaluate the psychometric measurement properties of instruments for postpartum anxiety using the Consensus-Based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments guidelines to identify the best available patient-reported outcome measure. DATA SOURCES We searched 4 databases (CINAHL, Embase, PubMed, and Web of Science in July 2022) and included studies that evaluated at least 1 psychometric measurement property of a patient-reported outcome measurement instrument. The protocol was registered with the International Prospective Register for Systematic Reviews under identifier CRD42021260004 and followed the Consensus-Based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments guidelines for systematic reviews. STUDY ELIGIBILITY Studies eligible for inclusion were those that assessed the performance of a patient-reported outcome measure for screening for postpartum anxiety. We included studies in which the instruments were subjected to some form of psychometric property assessment in the postpartum maternal population, consisted of at least 2 questions, and were not subscales. METHODS This systematic review used the Consensus-Based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses guidelines to identify the best patient-reported outcome measurement instrument for examining postpartum anxiety. A risk of bias assessment was performed, and a modified GRADE approach was used to assess the level of evidence with recommendations being made for the overall quality of each instrument. RESULTS A total of 28 studies evaluating 13 instruments in 10,570 patients were included. Content validity was sufficient in 9 with 5 instruments receiving a class A recommendation (recommended for use). The Postpartum Specific Anxiety Scale, Postpartum Specific Anxiety Scale Research Short Form, Postpartum Specific Anxiety Scale Research Short Form Covid, Postpartum Specific Anxiety Scale-Persian, and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory demonstrated adequate content validity and sufficient internal consistency. Nine instruments received a recommendation of class B (further research required). No instrument received a class C recommendation (not recommended for use). CONCLUSION Five instruments received a class A recommendation, all with limitations, such as not being specific to the postpartum population, not assessing all domains, lacking generalizability, or evaluation of cross-cultural validity. There is currently no freely available instrument that assess all domains of postpartum anxiety. Future studies are needed to determine the optimum current instrument or to develop and validate a more specific measure for maternal postpartum anxiety.

Abstract
PURPOSE To evaluate the effects of virtual operating room tours on perioperative anxiety in adult patients. DESIGN This study was a systematic review of randomized controlled trials (RCTs). METHODS PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Web of Science, Proquest, Scopus, SinoMed, CNKI, and WanFang were systematically searched for English and Chinese RCTs published up to November 18, 2021, for studies on the effectiveness of virtual operating room tours in reducing perioperative anxiety in adult patients (>18 years of age). Primary and secondary outcomes were perioperative anxiety levels and understanding level of perioperative information and patient satisfaction, respectively. The data were synthesized using a qualitative method. FINDINGS Five studies were found eligible for inclusion; 3 studies showed a significant decrease in perioperative anxiety levels in patients of the virtual operating room tours group. Furthermore, the overall satisfaction, understanding of perioperative information, and preoperative preparedness were significantly enhanced respectively in 3 studies. CONCLUSIONS This study showed the effectiveness of virtual operating room tour on alleviating perioperative anxiety on adult patients. Furthermore, the satisfaction and understanding of perioperative information in intervention group improved owing to these tours. Future quantitative studies are needed to support these findings.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There is no consensus about the type of instrument with which to assess postoperative recovery or the time points when assessments are most appropriate. It is also unclear whether instruments measure the four dimensions of postoperative recovery, that is physical, psychological, social, and habitual recovery. This scoping review had three objectives: (1) to identify and describe instruments used in clinical trials to assess postoperative recovery; (2) to determine how, when, and the number of times postoperative recovery was measured; and (3) to explore whether the four dimensions of postoperative recovery are represented in the identified instruments. METHODS A literature search was conducted in CINAHL, MEDLINE, and Web of Science. The search terms were related to three search strands: postoperative recovery, instrument, and clinical trials. The limits were English language and publication January 2010 to November 2021. In total, 5015 studies were identified. RESULTS A total of 198 studies were included in the results. We identified 20 instruments measuring postoperative recovery. Different versions of Quality of Recovery represented 81.8% of the included instruments. Postoperative recovery was often assessed at one time point (47.2%) and most often on postoperative day 1 (81.5%). Thirteen instruments had items covering all four dimensions of postoperative recovery. CONCLUSIONS Assessing recovery is important to evaluate and improve perioperative care. We emphasise the importance of choosing the right instrument for the concept studied and, if postoperative recovery is of interest, of assessing more than once. Ideally, instruments should include all four dimensions to cover the whole recovery process.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cesarean delivery is one of the most common procedures performed in obstetrics, and although cesarean delivery is a blissful occasion, it is commonly associated with fear and anxiety for the new mother. OBJECTIVE We aimed to study the impact of watching a detailed, informative video on maternal anxiety levels, childbirth experience, and patient satisfaction in patients undergoing a primary cesarean delivery. STUDY DESIGN We performed a multicenter randomized control trial. Women scheduled to undergo a primary nonemergent cesarean delivery were recruited. All participants in the intervention group watched an informative video on recruitment. This 4-minute video described in detail the expected cesarean delivery process: preparations before entering the operation room, regional anesthesia administration, sterile covering, the surgical procedure itself, and recovery (including mobilization and lactation). Situation-specific anxiety was measured at recruitment, before exposure to the video (S1), at the day of the operation (S2), and at postpartum day 1 (S3) using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory score. In addition, participants answered a 10-item Childbirth Experience Questionnaire. A sample size of 63 per group was planned to achieve 80% power to detect a difference of 5 points in the primary outcome (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory score on the day of the operation). RESULTS Overall, 154 participants from 4 medical centers were randomized, and 132 participants were analyzed after completing all questionnaires, 64 participants in the video group and 68 participants in the control group. The groups did not differ in demographics and delivery characteristics and had similar baseline anxiety levels (S1). On operation day (S2, the primary outcome), significantly lower anxiety levels were reported in the video group than in the control group (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory scores, 41.3±9.5 vs 49.3±10.3; P<.001). Moreover, anxiety levels in postpartum day 1 (S3) remained significantly lower in the video group (P<.001). No difference between the groups in childbirth experience score or patient satisfaction was demonstrated. CONCLUSION A detailed informative video shown to patients before primary cesarean delivery decreased maternal anxiety levels before and after the procedure.

Abstract
Background Patients should be encouraged to mobilize with 24 h of caesarean section. However, the time of the first off-bed activity after surgery is usually 24 ~ 48 h in China. Due to the lack of knowledge of early off-bed activities, lack of attention to medical pain, and the absence of systematic evidence for the clinical transformation process. the aim of this study was showed that the application of evidence needs to be embedding in the real setting to construct the localization plan and achieve the effective result. Methods To establish evidence of the benefits of early postoperative off-bed activities on patients’ well-being based on a literature review. An interrupted time series analysis was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The first and third periods were both five months (from February 1st, 2019 to January 31st, 2020), with a two-month interrupted time (from July 1st, 2019 to August 31st, 2019). Results Eight clinical practices were retrieved from the literature and incorporated into the intervention. A total of 465 patients were included: 226 patients before and 239 patients after implementing the intervention. The average onset time of postoperative off-bed activities was significantly earlier after the intervention than before the intervention (20.01 vs. 31.89 h after the operation, P < 0.001). The 24-h off-bed rate increased from 30.94% before to 91.21% after the intervention (P < 0.001). The average pain score of patients decreased from 5.23 points before to 3.82 points after the intervention (P = 0.032). The average postoperative hospital stay was shortened from 5.06 days before to 3.51 days after the intervention (P < 0.001). In addition, the incidence rates of postoperative ileus (POI) and infection decreased from 5.38% and 2.65% before to 1.67% and 0.84% after the intervention, respectively (P < 0.001). Conclusions We established an evidence-based nursing intervention. Evaluation of the effect of evidence-based practices should be considered in the clinical setting and include preoperative health education, effective analgesia management, and safety management. Abstract
Purpose Perioperative cognitive dysfunction can be observed in all age groups of patients. Sometimes, this is more stressful to the patient than the actual surgical wound. Enhanced recovery after surgery pathways screen for patients at risk and lead to early post-surgical intervention. To prevent cognitive dysfunction, a prehabilitation approach might be useful. Methods This systematic literature review provides an overview on the current knowledge on prehabilitation for cognitive dysfunction for gynaecological patients by searching the National Library of Medicine (PubMed) in February 2020 to identify publications regarding presurgical cognitive training with three different search terms. Results 501 articles were identified and after screening for eligibility five were left for further analysis. Generally, cognitive function is split into several cognitive aspects like anxiety or memory, speed, attention, flexibility or problem-solving functions. Each of these aspects can/need to be trained to show an improvement after general anaesthesia. Training possibilities range from relaxation methods via music, one-on-one personal training sessions to electronically supported training units. Conclusion Prehabilitation of the cognitive function can be split in different cognitive domains. Each of these domains seem to be influenced by training. The training itself can be based on applications or known relaxation methods or even old-fashioned board games. The evidence is, however, still low and there is a need for further studies.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Perioperative anxiety is a major burden to patients undergoing surgeries with general anesthesia. OBJECTIVE This study investigated whether a virtual operating room tour (VORT) before surgery can be used to ameliorate perioperative anxiety. METHODS We employed a randomized parallel-group design with 2 study arms to compare VORT to the standard operation preparation procedure. The study included 84 patients. A validated inventory (state-trait operation anxiety-state) was used to assess perioperative state anxiety before (T1) and after (T2) surgery. In addition, trait operation anxiety was evaluated with an additional validated inventory (state-trait operation anxiety-trait). Moreover, user ratings on the usefulness of VORT were assessed with an evaluation questionnaire. Study arms were compared for perioperative state anxiety with two-tailed independent samples t tests. Subjective ratings were correlated with STOA-Trait values to investigate possible associations between perioperative anxiety with perceived usefulness. RESULTS There were no significant differences in perioperative state anxiety between VORT and standard operation preparation procedures before and after the surgery. Nonetheless, patients' ratings of VORT overall were positive. The tour was perceived as useful and, therefore, showed acceptance for VR use. These ratings were unrelated to the degree of perioperative anxiety. CONCLUSIONS The subjective benefit of VORT could not be explained by a reduction of perioperative anxiety. Instead, VORT appears to serve the need for information and reduce uncertainty. In addition, VORT is perceived as beneficial regardless of the age of the patients. Considering this effect and the manageable organizational and financial effort toward implementation, the general use of VORT can be recommended. Educational Video on Pain Management and Subsequent Opioid Use After Cesarean Delivery: A Randomized Controlled Trial. Obstet Gynecol 2021; 138:253-259. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate whether viewing an educational video on pain management reduces opioid use after cesarean delivery. METHODS We conducted a randomized, controlled trial of women aged 18 years or older who underwent cesarean delivery at a tertiary care center. Eligible women were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to usual discharge pain medication instructions plus an educational video on pain management or to usual discharge pain medication instructions alone. All women received the same opioid prescription at discharge: Twenty 5-mg oxycodone tablets. Participants were contacted at 7 days and at 14 days after delivery to assess the number of oxycodone tablets used, adjunct medication (acetaminophen and ibuprofen) use, pain scores, and overall satisfaction of pain control. The primary outcome was the number of oxycodone tablets used from discharge through postpartum day 14. A sample size of 23 per group (n=46) was planned to detect a 25% difference in mean number of oxycodone tablets used between groups, as from 20 to 15. RESULTS From July 2019 through December 2019, 61 women were screened and 48 were enrolled-24 in each group. Women who viewed the educational video used significantly fewer opioid tablets from discharge through postpartum day 14 compared with women who received usual pain medication instructions (median 1.5, range 0-20 vs median 10, range 0-24, P<.001). Adjunct medication use, pain scores, and satisfaction with pain control did not differ significantly between groups. CONCLUSION Among women who underwent cesarean delivery, viewing an educational video on pain management reduced postdischarge opioid use. CLINICAL TRIAL REGISTRATION ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT03959969.
