Abstract
Breast cancer treatment can lead to psychological distress, including depression, anxiety, and stress. We systematically investigated the effect of physical exercise on these factors in women surviving breast cancer (WSBC). Eight databases were searched to identify eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Data extraction and bias risk analysis were conducted using standardized tools, with meta-analysis performed using RevMan® software. Out of 3529 documents initially identified, 15 RCTs were included, comprising 2756 WSBC (1284 in intervention groups and 1472 in control groups), with 2082 participants in depression analyses, 513 in anxiety analyses, and 161 in stress analyses. Meta-analyses showed that physical exercise promoted significant reduction in depression and anxiety. Subgroup analyses showed greater reduction in anxiety when aerobic and resistance exercise were combined. Only two studies investigated stress, with less robust data suggesting improvement when combining aerobic and resistance interventions. Future RCTs with standardized intervention protocols are needed to confirm these findings.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is one of the most common symptoms associated with cancer and its treatment. Different types of exercise have demonstrated beneficial effects on CRF. Previous evidence syntheses provided promising but inconclusive results when focusing on the effects of resistance training. OBJECTIVES To evaluate the effects of resistance training on CRF in people with cancer and, specifically, to compare the effects of resistance training with no training on CRF at: different periods of treatment in relation to anticancer therapy (before, during, or after anticancer therapy); different periods of assessment (up to 12 weeks after the intervention, between more than 12 weeks and less than six months after the intervention, or six months or longer after the intervention). Moreover, we wanted to compare the effects of resistance training with no training on quality of life (QoL), adverse events, depression, and anxiety. SEARCH METHODS We performed an extensive literature search in eight databases including CENTRAL, Medline, and Embase in October 2023. We searched trial registries for ongoing studies, and we integrated results from update searches of previously published Cochrane reviews. SELECTION CRITERIA We included randomised controlled trials (RCTs) that compared resistance training with no training in adults with any type of cancer who received resistance training initiated before, during, or after anticancer therapy. Eligible RCTs needed to evaluate CRF or QoL. Resistance training had to be structured, last for at least five sessions, and include face-to-face instruction. We excluded studies that randomised fewer than 20 participants per group. DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS We used standard Cochrane methodology. For analyses, we pooled short-term, medium-term, and long-term effects (i.e. up to 12 weeks, between more than 12 weeks and less than six months, and six months or longer, after the intervention). We assessed risk of bias and certainty of the evidence using Cochrane's risk of bias tool (RoB 1), and the GRADE approach, respectively. MAIN RESULTS We included 21 RCTs with a total of 2221 participants, with diverse types of cancer, who received resistance training initiated during (14 studies), or after (7 studies) anticancer therapy. None of the studies investigated the effects of resistance training initiated before anticancer therapy. Here, we present the results on CRF, QoL, and adverse events. Results on depression and anxiety are reported in the full review. Resistance training during anticancer therapy Resistance training probably has a beneficial effect compared with no training on short-term CRF (mean difference (MD) on Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy - Fatigue scale (FACIT-Fatigue) 3.90, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.30 to 6.51; scale from 0 to 52, higher values mean better outcome, minimal important difference (MID) 3; 12 RCTs, 1120 participants; moderate-certainty evidence). The evidence is very uncertain about the effect of resistance training compared with no training on medium-term CRF (MD on Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory -8.33, 95% CI -18.34 to 1.68; scale from 20 to 100, higher values mean worse outcome, MID 11.5; 1 RCT, 47 participants; very low-certainty evidence). The evidence is very uncertain about the effect of resistance training compared with no training on long-term CRF (MD on FACIT-Fatigue -0.70, 95% CI -4.16 to 2.76; 1 RCT, 133 participants; very low-certainty evidence). Resistance training may have a small beneficial effect compared with no training on short-term QoL (MD on EORTC QoL Questionnaire C30 - global health (QLQ-C30) 4.93, 95% CI 2.01 to 7.85; scale from 0 to 100, higher values mean better outcome, MID 10; 12 RCTs, 1117 participants; low-certainty evidence). The evidence is very uncertain about the effect of resistance training compared with no training on medium-term QoL (MD on QLQ-C30 6.48, 95% CI -4.64 to 17.60; 1 RCT, 42 participants; very low-certainty evidence). The evidence is very uncertain about the effect of resistance training compared with no training on long-term QoL (MD on Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy - Anemia (FACT-An) 0.50, 95% CI -8.46 to 9.46; scale from 0 to 188; higher values mean better outcome, MID 7; 1 RCT, 133 participants; very low-certainty evidence). Only two RCTs (116 participants) reported data on adverse events for both the resistance training and the control arm. The evidence is very uncertain about the effect of resistance training compared with no training on the occurrence of adverse events (very low-certainty evidence). Resistance training after anticancer therapy The evidence is very uncertain about the effect of resistance training compared with no training on short-term CRF (MD on Chalder Fatigue Scale -0.27, 95% CI -2.11 to 1.57; scale from 0 to 33, higher values mean worse outcome, MID 2.3; 3 RCTs, 174 participants; very low-certainty evidence). Resistance training may have a small beneficial effect or no effect compared with no training on short-term QoL (MD on QLQ-C30 3.87, 95% CI -1.22 to 8.97; 4 RCTs, 243 participants; low-certainty evidence). None of the studies reported data on medium-, or long-term effects on CRF or QoL. Only three RCTs (238 participants) reported data on adverse events for both the resistance training and the control arm. The evidence is very uncertain about the effect of resistance training compared with no training on the occurrence of adverse events (very low-certainty evidence). AUTHORS' CONCLUSIONS Our review demonstrates beneficial effects of resistance training during anticancer therapy compared with no training on short-term CRF and QoL for people with cancer. Resistance training after anticancer therapy may also have a small beneficial effect on short-term QoL. Data on medium-, and long-term effects are sparse. In order to facilitate evidence syntheses beyond a narrative report of the data, investigators of resistance training programmes should report adverse events more consistently and completely for all study arms, including control groups.

Abstract
PURPOSE Resistance training mitigates side effects during and after cancer treatment. To provide a new approach for precisely and safely assessing and prescribing the intensity of resistance training in supportive cancer care, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the load-velocity relationship during the row exercise in women survivors of breast cancer. METHODS Twenty women survivors of breast cancer who had undergone surgery and had completed core breast cancer treatment within the previous 10 years completed an incremental loading test until the one repetition maximum (1RM) in the row exercise. The velocity was measured during the concentric phase of each repetition with a linear velocity transducer, and their relationship with the relative load was analyzed by linear and polynomial regression models. RESULTS A strong relationship was observed between movement velocity and relative load for all measured velocity variables using linear and polynomial regression models (R2 > 0.90; SEE < 6.00%1RM). The mean velocity and mean propulsive velocity of 1RM was 0.40 ± 0.03 m·s-1, whereas the peak velocity at 1RM was 0.64 ± 0.07 m·s1. CONCLUSION In women survivors of breast cancer, monitoring movement velocity during the row exercise can facilitate precise assessment and prescription of resistance training intensity in supportive cancer care.

Abstract
The primary objective of this study was to assess the influence of exercise interventions on cancer-related fatigue (CRF), specifically in breast cancer patients, with the ultimate goal of establishing an optimal exercise prescription for breast cancer patients. A comprehensive search was undertaken across multiple databases, including Embase, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Scopus, covering data published up to 1 September 2023. A meta-analysis was conducted to calculate the standardized mean difference (SMD) along with its corresponding 95% confidence interval (CI), thereby quantifying the effectiveness of exercise in alleviating CRF in the breast cancer patient population. Twenty-six studies met the inclusion criteria. Aerobic exercise (SMD, -0.17, p = 0.02), resistance exercise (SMD, -0.37, p = 0.0009), and combined exercise (SMD, -0.53, p < 0.0001) significantly improved CRF in breast cancer patients. In addition, exercise intervention conducted ≥3 times per week (SMD, -0.47, p = 0.0001) for >60 min per session (SMD, -0.63, p < 0.0001) and ≥180 min per week (SMD, -0.79, p < 0.0001) had greater effects on improving CRF in breast cancer patients, especially middle-aged patients (SMD, -0.42, p < 0.0001). Exercise is an effective approach to improving CRF in breast cancer patients. When devising an exercise program, the primary consideration should be the incorporation of combined exercise as the principal intervention. This entails ensuring that participants engage in the program at least three times weekly, with each session lasting for more than 60 min. The ultimate aim is to achieve a total weekly exercise duration of 180 min by progressively increasing the frequency of exercise sessions.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare and rank the effectiveness of four primary categories of exercise modalities (aerobic, resistance, mind-body, and combined exercise [CE]) in improving the Quality of life (QoL) of women with breast cancer in a network meta-analysis (NMA). METHODS Articles published in English and indexed in the PubMed (MEDLINE), EBSCO, Web of Science, SPORTDiscus, The Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, PsycINFO, EMBASE, and CINAHL Plus databases were identified from inception to 12 October 2023. Studies that met the eligibility criteria were assessed for risk of bias. A frequentist NMA was conducted to appraise the efficacy of different exercise types. RESULTS This study included 56 studies with 3904 participants. Aerobic, mind-body, and combined exercises effectively improved QoL compared to controls. The surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA) indicated that CE best improved patients' QoL (SUCRA = 96.7%). Analysis of the secondary outcomes suggests that exercise reduced patients' depression (standardized mean difference [SMD] = -0.38, 95% confidence interval [CI] = -0.70 to -0.06, p < 0.001; I2 = 79%) and anxiety (SMD = -0.50, 95% CI = -0.69 to -0.31, p < 0.001; I2 = 27.4%) but did not affect self-esteem. CONCLUSION All exercise types but resistance were effective in improving the QoL of women with breast cancer, CE (the combination of aerobic and resistance exercise) had the highest likelihood of being optimal for improving QoL.

Abstract
PURPOSE Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is unrelenting. As neither rest nor sleep ameliorates cognitive, emotional, and physical symptoms, quality of life is diminished. This study examines resistance training (RT) effectiveness on CRF in cancer survivors. The secondary aims were to identify the dose-response relationship of RT frequency, intensity, and volume on CRF in different cancer survivor populations. MATERIALS AND METHODS Systematic searches via numerous databases for RCTs were performed in June 2022. Patient-reported outcome measures (PROM), were analysed, pre-to-post intervention, using a random-effects model. The Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scale informed methodological quality assessment. RESULTS Eight studies were included (cancer survivors: breast (BCS) = 5; endometrial (ECS) = 1; prostate (PCS) = 2). Overall, RT interventions ≥ 6 weeks elicited large significant reductions in CRF for FACIT-F (SMD = 0.932, p = <0.001) and moderate significant reductions in CRF for PFS-R (SMD = -0.622, p = 0.004). CONCLUSION Main findings indicate that RT ameliorates CRF, especially in BCS; however, individualised approaches should be advocated. Supervised training elicited the greatest positive outcomes, thus should be a pivotal part of the cancer rehabilitation pathway. Future studies should be adequately powered, undertake discrete analyses of different cancer types, and investigate chronic RT effects.

Abstract
Many individuals do not participate in resistance exercise, with perceived lack of time being a key barrier. Minimal dose strategies, which generally reduce weekly exercise volumes to less than recommended guidelines, might improve muscle strength with minimal time investment. However, minimal dose strategies and their effects on muscle strength are still unclear. Here our aims are to define and characterize minimal dose resistance exercise strategies and summarize their effects on muscle strength in individuals who are not currently engaged in resistance exercise. The minimal dose strategies overviewed were: "Weekend Warrior," single-set resistance exercise, resistance exercise "snacking," practicing the strength test, and eccentric minimal doses. "Weekend Warrior," which minimizes training frequency, is resistance exercise performed in one weekly session. Single-set resistance exercise, which minimizes set number and session duration, is one set of multiple exercises performed multiple times per week. "Snacks," which minimize exercise number and session duration, are brief bouts (few minutes) of resistance exercise performed once or more daily. Practicing the strength test, which minimizes repetition number and session duration, is one maximal repetition performed in one or more sets, multiple days per week. Eccentric minimal doses, which eliminate or minimize concentric phase muscle actions, are low weekly volumes of submaximal or maximal eccentric-only repetitions. All approaches increase muscle strength, and some approaches improve other outcomes of health and fitness. "Weekend Warrior" and single-set resistance exercise are the approaches most strongly supported by current research, while snacking and eccentric minimal doses are emerging concepts with promising results. Public health programs can promote small volumes of resistance exercise as being better for muscle strength than no resistance exercise at all.

Abstract
PURPOSE Physical activity can provide analgesic benefit but its effect on cancer-related pain is unclear. This review synthesised and appraised the evidence for the effect of physical activity on pain in people living with or beyond cancer. METHODS A systematic search of Ovid Medline and Embase was performed to identify randomised controlled trials (RCTs), randomised cross-over studies (RXTs), and prospective observational studies that examined physical activity and pain outcomes in adults living with or beyond cancer. Meta-analyses were performed to generate effect estimates. Risk of bias was assessed, and the GRADE system was used to assess evidence quality. RESULTS One hundred twenty-one studies (n = 13,806), including 102 RCTs, 6 RXTs, and 13 observational studies, met the criteria for inclusion. Meta-analyses of RCTs identified a decrease in pain intensity (n = 3734; standardised mean difference (SMD) - 0.30; 95% confidence interval (CI) - 0.45, - 0.15) and bodily pain (n = 1170; SMD 0.28; 95% CI 0.01, 0.56) but not pain interference (n = 207; SMD - 0.13, 95% CI - 0.42, 0.15) following physical activity interventions. Individual studies also identified a reduction in pain sensitivity but not analgesic use, although meta-analysis was not possible for these outcomes. High heterogeneity between studies, low certainty in some effect estimates, and possible publication bias meant that evidence quality was graded as very low to low. CONCLUSION Physical activity may decrease pain in people living with and beyond cancer; however, high heterogeneity limits the ability to generalise this finding to all people with cancer or to specific types of cancer-related pain.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Breast cancer (BC) and its treatment affect women's tissue architecture and physiology, which leads to impaired muscle strength and joint dysfunction, affecting quality of life (QOL). Most evidence has focused on exercises; however, due to the complexity and heterogeneity of patients' rehabilitation needs, further research is required to investigate more adjunctive methods to help optimal rehabilitation according to patients' needs, preferences, and effective interventions. METHODS This study aimed to determine the effect of Kinesiotaping (KT) combined with resistive exercise on muscle strength and QOL in breast cancer survivors (BCS). Forty premenopausal BCS treated with chemotherapy postmastectomy participated in this study. Their age ranged from 40 to 55 years, and their body mass index (BMI) was 25-29.9 kg/m2. They were randomly distributed into two equal groups. The control group received resistive exercise two times/week for 12 weeks, while the study group received resistive exercise and KT applied to the lower limbs. Hip, knee, and ankle muscle strength were measured using a hand-held dynamometer, and QOL was evaluated using 36-Item Short Form (SF-36) before and after treatment. RESULTS Both groups showed a significant increase (p = 0.0001) in the strength of hip flexors, knee extensors, flexors, ankle plantar flexors, and dorsiflexors, as well as SF-36 score after treatment. However, the study group showed a more significant increase in strength of hip flexors (p = 0.005), knee extensors (p = 0.01) and flexors (p = 0.02), ankle plantar flexors (p = 0.01), and dorsiflexors (p = 0.01), as well as SF-36 score (p = 0.006) than the control group. CONCLUSIONS KT plus resistive exercise is more effective than exercise alone for improving muscle strength and QOL in BCS. So, the KT can be recommended as a non-invasive, adjunctive method added to the protocol therapy for BCS to help better outcomes during the rehabilitation period.

Abstract
PURPOSE This study's primary aim was to investigate whether including a mental health component to healthy lifestyle interventions are associated with greater effects on quality of life (QoL) for post-treatment cancer survivors than addressing physical activity and/or nutrition alone. METHODS PsycINFO, Scopus, Medline, CINAHL, and Google Scholar were searched to identify randomised control trials of healthy lifestyle interventions for post-treatment cancer survivors, with a usual care or waitlist control, and measured QoL. Meta-analyses quantified the effects of interventions vs controls at post-treatment on total QoL, physical, emotional, and social well-being. Subgroup analyses compared interventions with vs without a mental health component, modes of delivery, and duration. The quality of the included studies was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias 2. RESULTS Eighty-eight papers evaluating 110 interventions were included: 66 effect sizes were extracted for meta-analysis, and 22 papers were narratively synthesised. The pooled effect size demonstrated a small, significant effect of healthy lifestyle interventions in comparison to control for all QoL outcomes (total g = 0.32, p >.001; physical g = 0.19, p = 0.05; emotional g = 0.20, p >.001; social g = 0.18, p = 0.01). There was no significant difference between interventions with vs without a mental health component. Face-to-face delivered interventions were associated with greater total QoL and physical well-being compared to other modalities. Interventions delivered ≤12 weeks were associated with greater physical well-being than those delivered ≥13 weeks. Overall, studies had substantial levels of heterogeneity and 55.9% demonstrated high risk of bias. CONCLUSIONS Participating in a healthy lifestyle intervention following cancer treatment improves QoL. Few trials addressed mental health or evaluated online or telephone modalities; future research should develop and evaluate interventions that utilise these features. IMPLICATIONS FOR CANCER SURVIVORS Brief healthy lifestyle interventions can be recommended for cancer survivors, particularly those interested in improving physical well-being.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The positive influence of most types of exercise has been reported repeatedly, but what the most effective exercise approaches are for improving health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in people with cancer remains unknown. The aim of this systematic review and network meta-analysis was to synthesize the evidence from intervention studies to assess the effects of different types of exercise on HRQoL during and after cancer treatment. METHODS MEDLINE, SPORTDiscus, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Scopus were searched for randomized controlled trials aimed at testing the effects of exercise interventions meant to improve HRQoL in people with cancer. Separate analyses were conducted for HRQoL as measured by general and cancer-specific questionnaires. We also evaluated whether the effects of exercise were different during and after cancer treatment in both the physical and mental HRQoL domains. RESULTS In total, 93 studies involving 7435 people with cancer were included. Network effect size estimates comparing exercise intervention vs. usual care were significant for combined exercise (0.35, 95% confidence interval (95%CI): 0.14-0.56) for HRQoL as measured by general questionnaires, and for combined (0.31, 95%CI: 0.13-0.48), mind-body exercise (0.54, 95%CI: 0.18-0.89), and walking (0.39, 95%CI: 0.04-0.74) for HRQoL as measured by cancer-specific questionnaires. CONCLUSION Exercise programs combining aerobic and resistance training can be recommended to improve HRQoL during and after cancer treatment. The scarcity and heterogeneity of these studies prevents us from making recommendations about other exercise modalities due to insufficient evidence.

Abstract
PURPOSE This study assessed the effects of 12-week supervised resistance training combined with home-based physical activity on physical fitness, cancer-related fatigue, depressive symptoms, health-related quality of life (HRQoL), and life satisfaction in female breast cancer survivors. METHODS A parallel-group, outcome assessor-blinded, randomized controlled trial included 60 female breast cancer survivors who had completed their core treatments within the previous 10 years. Through computer-generated simple randomization, participants were assigned to resistance training (RTG; two sessions/week for 12 weeks plus instructions to undertake ≥ 10,000 steps/d) or control (CG; ≥ 10,000 steps/d only). Outcomes were evaluated at baseline and week 12. Muscular strength was assessed with electromechanical dynamometry. A standardized full-body muscular strength score was the primary outcome. Secondary outcomes included cardiorespiratory fitness, shoulder mobility, cancer-related fatigue, depressive symptoms, HRQoL, and life satisfaction. RESULTS Thirty-two participants were assigned to RTG (29 achieved ≥ 75% attendance) and 28 to CG (all completed the trial). Intention-to-treat analyses revealed that the standardized full-body muscular strength score increased significantly in the RTG compared to the CG (0.718; 95% CI 0.361-1.074, P < 0.001, Cohen's d = 1.04). This increase was consistent for the standardized scores of upper-body (0.727; 95% CI 0.294-1.160, P = 0.001, d = 0.87) and lower-body (0.709; 95% CI 0.324-1.094, P = 0.001, d = 0.96) strength. There was no effect on cardiorespiratory fitness, shoulder flexion, cancer-related fatigue, depressive symptoms, HRQoL, or life satisfaction. The sensitivity analyses confirmed these results. CONCLUSION and implication for cancer survivors. In female breast cancer survivors who had completed their core treatments within the past 10 years, adding two weekly sessions of supervised resistance training to a prescription of home-based physical activity for 12 weeks produced a large increase in upper-, lower-, and full-body muscular strength, while other fitness components and patient-reported outcomes did not improve. Abstract
Background Caregivers of cancer patients experience excessive emotional and financial stress. Objective To determine the quality of life (QOL) of caregivers of cancer patients and factors affecting it in caregivers attending the OPD of a governmental tertiary care cancer center in the sub-Himalayan region. Methods A cross-sectional observational study was used. A pre-validated caregiver quality of life (CQOL) questionnaire was completed by consenting caregivers of 96 outpatient attendees. Results The mean total QOL scores were higher in attendants of subjects who did not undergo surgery versus those who underwent surgery (p-value: 0.04) and in those who received 0-5 versus >5 chemotherapy cycles (p-value: 0.015). On subdomain analyses, the burden was significantly greater in caregivers of patients who did not undergo surgery (p-value: 0.02) and had a higher Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) scale (p-value: 0.03). Disruptiveness was significantly higher in married individuals (p-value: 0.01) and those aged between 36 and 60 years (p-value: 0.003). Positive adaptation was worse in caregivers with another family member suffering from chronic illness (p-value: 0.041) and in professional and skilled workers (p-value: 0.03). The greater financial burden was experienced by caregivers belonging to lower socioeconomic status (p-value: 0.03). On putting these factors in the regression model, the non-specific domain of 0-5 cycles had poor CQOL, i.e., higher scores. The burden score was more in ECOG stages 3 and 4 in comparison with stages 1 and 2. Married individuals had significant disruption. Individuals aged between 36 and 60 years perceived more disruption in their lives. A more financial impact was observed on the lower middle and lower class compared to the upper and upper middle class. Conclusion Caregivers of cancer patients experience significant stress and burden. Counseling and social and financial support to caregivers may help improve CQOL.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Effects of exercise in patients with breast cancer have been thoroughly investigated. The aim was to explore differences in effects regarding type, delivery mode and extensiveness (e.g. intensity; volume) of the interventions. METHODS We searched for randomised controlled trials including patients with breast cancer receiving systemic treatment, exercise-based interventions, and measures on patient reported- and objectively measured outcomes. RESULTS Exercise showed significant and moderate effects on the primary outcomes quality of life and physical function, Standardised Mean Difference: 0.52 (95 % CI 0.38-0.65) and 0.52 (95 % CI 0.38-0.66), respectively. Type of exercise had little influence on the effects, however combined aerobic- and resistance exercise seemed superior for increasing physical function, compared to aerobic or resistance exercise. Supervised interventions were superior to partly and unsupervised. Extensiveness of the intervention only influenced physical function. CONCLUSIONS Supervised interventions, more than type or extensiveness of interventions, seem to increase effects.

Abstract
Background: The aim of this study was to verify the reproducibility of a resistance training protocol in the bench press (BP) exercise, based on traditional recommendations, analysing the effect of the muscle fatigue of each set and of the whole exercise protocol. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, thirty male physical education students were divided into three groups according to their relative strength ratio (RSR), and they performed a 1RM BP test (T1). In the second session (T2), which was one week after T1, the participants performed a BP exercise protocol of three sets with the maximum number of repetitions (MNR) possible to muscle failure, using a relative load corresponding to 70% 1RM determined through the mean propulsive velocity (MPV) obtained from the individual load−velocity relationship, with 2 min rests between sets. Two weeks later, a third session (T3) identical to the second session (T2) was performed. The MPV of each repetition of each set and the blood lactate level after each set were calculated, and mechanical fatigue was quantified through the velocity loss percentage of the set (% loss MPV) and in a pre-post exercise test with an individual load that could be lifted at ~1 m·s−1 of MPV. Results: The number of repetitions performed in each set was significantly different (MNR for the total group of participants: set 1 = 12.50 ± 2.19 repetitions, set 2 = 6.06 ± 1.98 repetitions and set 3 = 4.20 ± 1.99 repetitions), showing high variation coefficients in each of the sets and between groups according to RSR. There were significant differences also in MPVrep Best (set 1 = 0.62 ± 0.10 m·s−1, set 2 = 0.42 ± 0.07 m·s−1, set 3 = 0.36 ± 0.10 m·s−1), which significantly reduced the % loss MPV of all sets (set 1 = 77.4%, set 2 = 64%, set 3 = 54.2%). The lactate levels increased significantly (p < 0.05) (set 1 = 4.9 mmo·L−1, set 2 = 6 mmo·L−1, set 3 = 6.5 mmo·L−1), and MPV loss at 1 m·s−1 after performing the three sets was 36% in T2 and 34% in T3, with acceptable intrasubject variability (MPV at 1 m·s−1 pre-exercise: SEM ≤ 0.09 m·s−1, CV = 9.8%; MPV at 1 m·s−1 post-exercise: SEM ≤ 0.07 m·s−1, CV = 11.7%). Conclusions: These exercise propositions are difficult to reproduce and apply. Moreover, the number of repetitions performed in each set was significantly different, which makes it difficult to define and control the intensity of the exercise. Lastly, the fatigue generated in each set could have an individual response depending on the capacity of each subject to recover from the preceding maximum effort.
