Abstract
Endometriosis (EM) is one of the most common diseases among women of reproductive age. The etiology and pathogenesis of EM remain unclear and therefore there is a lack of effective treatment measures, which affects physical and mental health, as well as the quality of life of patients with EM. Angiogenesis has become a hotspot for research on the pathogenesis of EM; the role of angiogenesis‑related serological markers and anti‑angiogenic therapy in the diagnosis and treatment of EM is promising for early diagnosis and treatment of EM. Angiogenesis in EM is subject to complex regulation by hormones, immunity and associated cytokines. Therefore, novel targets for angiogenesis therapy are also being discovered and developed. The present review summarized the pathological mechanisms of angiogenesis and the value of relevant markers in pathogenesis and diagnosis of EM, along with the status of research on anti‑angiogenic drugs in the treatment of EM. The role of angiogenesis in EM provides an important reference for treatment and diagnosis, but there is no uniform non‑invasive diagnostic marker and proven strategy for anti‑angiogenesis.

Abstract
Endometriosis is a gynecological condition that significantly impacting women's daily lives. In recent years, the incidence of endometriosis has been rising yearly and is now an essential contributor to female infertility. Exosomes are extracellular vesicles (EVs) that carry long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) and shield lncRNA from the outside environment thanks to their vesicle-like structure. The role of exosome-derived lncRNAs in endometriosis is also receiving more study as high-throughput sequencing technology develops. Several lncRNAs with variable expression may be crucial to the emergence and growth of endometriosis. The early diagnosis of endometriosis will be considerably improved by further high specificity and sensitivity Exosome lncRNA screening. Exosomes assist lncRNAs in carrying out their roles, offering a new target for creating endometriosis-specific medications. In order to serve as a reference for clinical research on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment options of endometriosis, this paper covers the role of exosome lncRNAs in endometriosis and related molecular mechanisms.

Abstract
Despite the clinically recognized association between endometriosis and infertility, the mechanisms implicated in endometriosis-associated infertility are not fully understood. Endometriosis is a multifactorial and systemic disease that has pleiotropic direct and indirect effects on reproduction. A complex interaction between endometriosis subtype, pain, inflammation, altered pelvic anatomy, adhesions, disrupted ovarian reserve/function, and compromised endometrial receptivity as well as systemic effects of the disease define endometriosis-associated infertility. The population of infertile women with endometriosis is heterogeneous, and diverse patients' phenotypes can be observed in the clinical setting, thus making difficult to establish a precise diagnosis and a single mechanism of endometriosis related infertility. Moreover, clinical management of infertility associated with endometriosis can be challenging due to this heterogeneity. Innovative non-invasive diagnostic tools are on the horizon that may allow us to target the specific dysfunctional alteration in the reproduction process. Currently the treatment should be individualized according to the clinical situation and to the suspected level of impairment. Here we review the etiology of endometriosis related infertility as well as current treatment options, including the roles of surgery and assisted reproductive technologies.

Abstract
Chronic pain is a major public health problem and an economic burden worldwide. However, its underlying pathological mechanisms remain unclear. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small noncoding RNAs that post-transcriptionally regulate gene expression and serve key roles in physiological and pathological processes. This review aims to synthesize the human studies examining miRNA expression in the pathogenesis of chronic primary pain and chronic secondary pain. Additionally, to understand the potential pathophysiological impact of miRNAs in these conditions, an in silico analysis was performed to reveal the target genes and pathways involved in primary and secondary pain and their differential regulation in the different types of chronic pain. The findings, methodological issues and challenges of miRNA research in the pathophysiology of chronic pain are discussed. The available evidence suggests the potential role of miRNA in disease pathogenesis and possibly the pain process, eventually enabling this role to be exploited for pain monitoring and management.

Abstract
Background: While different studies have investigated the association of SNPs with female reproductive disorders, a limited number of studies have investigated the effect of microRNAs variants in endometriosis. In this study, we evaluated the prevalence and the association of three different miRNAs variants including, miR-27a rs895819, miR-124-1 rs531564, and miR-423 rs6505162 with endometriosis to help further elucidate the importance of these variants in female reproductive disorders. Methods: A total number of 440 women (220 cases and 220 controls) were included. DNA was extracted and genotyping of the SNPs was carried out by PCR. Results: The results showed that rs895819 and rs6505162 had a significant association with endometriosis under the dominant, recessive, co-dominant, and allelic model, but rs531564 was not linked to endometriosis. Our results also imply a protective effect on endometriosis severity for AG genotype and G allele in rs895819 (p < 0.001), and also for AA and AC genotypes in rs6505162 with severity in endometriosis (p < 0.001). Moreover, Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium, haplotype frequency, and linkage disequilibrium between SNPs were performed. Conclusion: miR-27a rs895819 and miR-423 rs6505162, but not miR-124-1 rs531564, are linked to endometriosis.

Abstract
Metastatic clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (m-ccRCC) is characterized by increased hypoxia-induced factor (HIF)-2α and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)-dependent angiogenesis through loss of function of the von Hippel-Lindau protein. VEGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (VEGFR-TKIs) are a cornerstone of m-ccRCC treatment, and new treatments targeting HIF-2α are currently under investigation. However, predictive biomarkers for these treatments are lacking. In this retrospective cohort study including 109 patients treated with VEGFR-targeted therapies as first-line treatment, we aimed to study the possible predictive function of microRNAs (miRNAs) targeting HIF-2α, VEGFR1 and VEGFR2. We selected miRNAs inversely correlated with HIF-2α, VEGFR1 and/or VEGFR2 expression and with predicted target sites in the respective genes and subsequently studied their impact on therapeutic outcomes. We identified four miRNAs (miR-34c-5p, miR-221-3p, miR-222-3p and miR-3529-3p) inversely correlated with VEGFR1 and/or VEGFR2 expression and associated with tumor shrinkage and progression-free survival (PFS) upon treatment with VEGFR-TKIs, highlighting the potential predictive value of these miRNAs. Moreover, we identified three miRNAs (miR-185-5p, miR-223-3p and miR-3529-3p) inversely correlated with HIF-2α expression and associated with tumor shrinkage and PFS upon treatment with VEGFR-TKIs. These three miRNAs can have a predictive value not only upon treatment with VEGFR-TKIs but possibly also upon treatment with the upcoming HIF-2α inhibitor belzutifan.

Abstract
Background Endometriosis is generally considered as a benign condition; however, there is a possibility for it to become cancerous. miR-125b is upregulated in both endometriotic tissues and serum samples of women with endometriosis but its potential targets in endometriosis are still not fully understood. Objective The role of miR-125b in the regulation of TP53 expression in endometriosis was tested with a bioinformatics approach. In addition, the expression of miR-125b and TP53 in both eutopic (Eu-p) and ectopic endometrium (Ec-p) in the endometrium tissues of women with endometriosis was compared to those in the normal endometrium tissues of controls (Normal). Materials and Methods In this case-control study, the Eu-p and Ec-p samples were collected from 20 women who underwent laparoscopic surgery, and the normal endometrium tissues were collected from 20 controls with no evidence of endometriosis. For bioinformatics approach, a protein-protein interaction network was constructed based on co-expressed potential targets of miR-125b. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction technique was used for the measurement of miR125b and TP53 expression. Results Our results showed that miR-125b was significantly overexpressed in Ec-p (p-value: 0.021). In addition, there was a significant TP53 under expression in both the Ec-p and Eu-p samples compared with the Normal tissues (p-value: 0.003). Conclusion The negative correlation between miR-125b and TP53 as well as a noticeable decreased expression of TP53 in both Ec-p and Eu-p samples may be interpreted as the roles of miR-125b/TP53 axis in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. In addition, these findings and bioinformatic analyses imply a possible role of miR-125b in cancer-like features of endometriosis.
