Abstract
OBJECTIVE The COVID-19 pandemic affected individuals in different contexts (e.g. long-term care facilities, schools, communities), including psychiatric hospitals. Thus, the objective of this systematic review, duly registered and approved on PROSPERO (CRD42023427835), is to assess the frequency of positive COVID-19 cases among patients hospitalized in psychiatric hospitals. METHODS A total of 4,922 articles were identified in the database searches, and 17 studies conducted in psychiatric hospitals from different regions of the world were selected. RESULTS The frequency of positive COVID-19 cases among patients hospitalized in psychiatric hospitals ranged from 1.8% to 98.8%. Out of a total of 19,573 patients hospitalized in psychiatric hospitals, the pooled mean frequency of positive COVID-19 cases was 11.9%. The majority of patients presented COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. cough, fever and others). The COVID-19 diagnosis was primarily conducted through RT-PCR testing in 88.9% of the studies. CONCLUSION In conclusion, there is discrepancy in the methodology of the studies assessing the frequency of positive COVID-19 cases in psychiatric hospitals. However, this review allowed us to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the population hospitalized in psychiatric hospitals.

Abstract
(1) Background and Objectives: There were two distinct coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreaks in 2020 and 2022 at a long-term mental health facility (LTMHF) in Gyeonggi Province, Korea. We aimed to compare the two outbreaks and identify differences in epidemiological and clinical outcomes due to changes in epidemic timing and management methods. (2) Materials and Methods: The structural, operational, and case-specific LTMHF data of COVID-19-confirmed patients during these outbreaks in 2020 and 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. (3) Results: Forty individuals (37 residents) in 2020 and thirty-nine (32 residents) in 2022 were confirmed to have COVID-19, and ten were infected twice. Facility isolation was implemented as an infection control measure, and one COVID-19-related death occurred in 2020. All residents and staff were vaccinated at least twice in 2022; moreover, in 2022, 38 patients (97.4%) received a third vaccination less than months before infection. The average Ct value of the cases in 2022 was significantly higher than that in 2020; however, vaccine-breakthrough (V-BT) and reinfection after vaccination rates were similar. (4) Conclusions: COVID-19 vaccination could help lower the viral load of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which was inversely correlated with Ct values, and ventilation system improvements in health facilities might reduce transmissibility.

Abstract
COVID-19 has emerged as a pandemic leading to a global public health crisis of unprecedented morbidity. A comprehensive insight into the imaging of COVID-19 has enabled early diagnosis, stratification of disease severity, and identification of potential sequelae. The evolution of COVID-19 can be divided into early infectious, pulmonary, and hyperinflammatory phases. Clinical features, imaging features, and management are different among the three phases. In the early stage, peripheral ground-glass opacities are predominant CT findings, and therapy directly targeting SARS-CoV-2 is effective. In the later stage, organizing pneumonia or diffuse alveolar damage pattern are predominant CT findings and anti-inflammatory therapies are more beneficial. The risk of severe disease or hospitalization is lower in breakthrough or Omicron variant infection compared with nonimmunized or Delta variant infections. The protection rates of the fourth dose of mRNA vaccination were 34% and 67% against overall infection and hospitalizations for severe illness, respectively. After acute COVID-19 pneumonia, most residual CT abnormalities gradually decreased in extent, but they may remain as linear or multifocal reticular or cystic lesions. Advanced insights into the pathophysiologic and imaging features of COVID-19 along with vaccine benefits have improved patient care, but emerging knowledge of post-COVID-19 condition, or long COVID, also presents radiology with new challenges.

Abstract
IntroductionDespite vaccine development, the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing due to immunity-escaping variants of concern (VOCs). Estimations of vaccine-induced protective immunity against VOCs are essential for setting proper COVID-19 vaccination policy.MethodsWe performed plaque-reduction neutralizing tests (PRNTs) using sera from healthcare workers (HCWs) collected from baseline to six months after COVID-19 vaccination and from convalescent COVID-19 patients. The 20.2% of the mean PRNT titer of convalescent sera was used as 50% protective value, and the percentage of HCWs with protective immunity for each week (percent-week) was compared among vaccination groups. A correlation equation was deduced between a PRNT 50% neutralizing dose (ND50) against wild type (WT) SARS-CoV-2 and that of the Delta variant.ResultsWe conducted PRNTs on 1,287 serum samples from 297 HCWs (99 HCWs who received homologous ChAdOx1 vaccination (ChAd), 99 from HCWs who received homologous BNT162b2 (BNT), and 99 from HCWs who received heterologous ChAd followed by BNT (ChAd-BNT)). Using 365 serum samples from 116 convalescent COVID-19 patients, PRNT ND50 of 118.25 was derived as 50% protective value. The 6-month cumulative percentage of HCWs with protective immunity against WT SARS-CoV-2 was highest in the BNT group (2297.0 percent-week), followed by the ChAd-BNT (1576.8) and ChAd (1403.0) groups. In the inter-group comparison, protective percentage of the BNT group (median 96.0%, IQR 91.2–99.2%) was comparable to the ChAd-BNT group (median 85.4%, IQR 15.7–100%; P =0.117) and significantly higher than the ChAd group (median 60.1%, IQR 20.0–87.1%; P <0.001). When Delta PRNT was estimated using the correlation equation, protective immunity at the 6-month waning point was markedly decreased (28.3% for ChAd group, 52.5% for BNT, and 66.7% for ChAd-BNT).ConclusionDecreased vaccine-induced protective immunity at the 6-month waning point and lesser response against the Delta variant may explain the Delta-dominated outbreak of late 2021. Follow-up studies for newly-emerging VOCs would also be needed.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The clinical features of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients in the COVID-19 vaccination era need to be clarified because breakthrough infection after vaccination is not uncommon. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed hospitalized COVID-19 patients during a delta variant-dominant period 6 months after the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout. The clinical characteristics and risk factors for severe progression were assessed and subclassified according to vaccination status. RESULTS A total of 438 COVID-19 patients were included; the numbers of patients in the unvaccinated, partially vaccinated and fully vaccinated groups were 188 (42.9%), 117 (26.7%) and 133 (30.4%), respectively. The vaccinated group was older, less symptomatic and had a higher Charlson comorbidity index at presentation. The proportions of patients who experienced severe progression in the unvaccinated and fully vaccinated groups were 20.3% (31/153) and 10.8% (13/120), respectively. Older age, diabetes mellitus, solid cancer, elevated levels of lactate dehydrogenase and chest X-ray abnormalities were associated with severe progression, and the vaccination at least once was the only protective factor for severe progression. Chest X-ray abnormalities at presentation were the only predictor for severe progression among fully vaccinated patients. CONCLUSION In the hospitalized setting, vaccinated and unvaccinated COVID-19 patients showed different clinical features and risk of oxygen demand despite a relatively high proportion of patients in the two groups. Vaccination needs to be assessed as an initial checkpoint, and chest X-ray may be helpful for predicting severe progression in vaccinated patients.

Abstract
Objective: With the global epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19),
vaccination rates are increasing globally. This study evaluated the relevant
clinical manifestations of vaccinated COVID-19 patients. Methods: We searched
carefully in 11 databases such as PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Cochrane Library, Web
of Science, Ovid, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Wan Fang
Data, Sinomed, VIP Database, and Reading Showing Database up to 26 March 2022.
To search for articles that have described the characteristics of vaccinated
patients including epidemiological and clinical symptoms. Statistical analysis
of the extracted data using STATA 14.0. Results: A total of 58 articles and
263,708 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 patients were included. Most of the
patients in the vaccinated group had more asymptomatic infection and fewer
severe illnesses. There were significant differences in ethnicity, and strain
infected with COVID-19, and comorbidities (hyperlipidemia, diabetes, obesity,
kidney disease, immunocompromised, cardiovascular disease, and tumor) and
symptoms (fever, cough, gastrointestinal symptoms, neurological symptoms, and
dysgeusia/anosmia) between vaccinated group and unvaccinated group. Oxygen
support, use of steroid, days in hospital, hospital treatment, ICU treatment,
death, and poor prognosis were also significantly different. Conclusion:
Compared with the vaccinated group, patients in the unvaccinated group had a
more severe clinical manifestations. Vaccines are also protective for infected
people.
