Abstract
Introduction An increasing number of studies have demonstrated that immunotherapy may play a significant role in treating Atherosclerosis and has emerged as a promising therapy in this field. The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive perspective through bibliometric analysis and investigate the existing hotspots and frontiers. Methods This study searched records from Web of Science, PubMed, and Scopus from January 1, 1999, to May 27, 2023. By using bibliometric software CiteSpace (6.3.R1) and VOSviewer (1.6.19), co-occurrence analysis was used to count the frequency of co-occurrence of certain elements (e.g., countries, regions, institutions, etc.), cluster analysis was used to classify keywords, and burst analysis was used to identify research trends and hotspots. Results The results showed that the number of annual publications has grown in a fluctuating manner; the USA, China, and the Netherlands have the highest numbers of publications, and the top three institutions are located in the Netherlands, Sweden, and the USA. In addition, Nilsson J published the highest number of papers; Ridker PM and his article "Anti-inflammatory Therapy with Canakinumab for Atherosclerotic Disease" have played prominent roles. The top four Journals with the highest numbers of publications are "Arteriosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology", "Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine", "Circulation" and "Vaccine". In addition, keyword analysis indicates that inflammation, nanoparticles, adverse events associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors, T cells and tumor necrosis factor will be future research hotspots. Discussion This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of immunotherapy in atherosclerosis, offering insights that advance scientific understanding. It not only assists researchers in grasping the current hotspots in this field but also reveals potential directions for future investigation. Moreover, future studies can optimize immunotherapy strategies based on hotspot predictions to decelerate the progression of atherosclerosis.

Abstract
Cirrhosis is a chronic liver disease with severe consequences for a patient's health and survival. Exercise is an essential therapeutic strategy for both cirrhosis prevention and treatment. On the other hand, information regarding the present status of exercise-related research in cirrhosis is limited. Therefore, this study seeks to close the information gap in the scientific literature by using bibliometric techniques to analyze the trends, focal points, and cutting-edge research areas on exercise and cirrhosis. On September 22, 2023, research articles and reviews on exercise intervention for cirrhosis were obtained and downloaded from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). Subsequently, we employed CiteSpace (version 6.1.R6) to conduct bibliometric and knowledge graph analyses. 588 papers in 301 scholarly journals were written by 673 authors from 460 institutions spread over 63 countries and regions. The most productive nation among them is the United States. Not only is Zobair M. Younossi 1 of the most prolific writers, but he also receives the most co-citations. Most articles were published by the University of Michigan in the US, with the University of Alberta in Canada coming in second. Meanwhile, the WORLD JOURNAL OF GASTROENTEROLOGY has the most published articles, whereas HEPATOLOGY has the greatest number of co-citations. Apart from the theme words, the most frequently utilized keywords were "quality of life," "insulin resistance," and "mortality." Future research may concentrate on "obesity," "sarcopenia," and "Mediterranean diet," according to the analysis of keyword emergence. CiteSpace is used in this work to visually represent the topic of exercise intervention in cirrhosis, offering valuable information to researchers regarding the field's current status and possible future direction.

Abstract
Purpose Cough variant asthma (CVA) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by recurrent coughing, a prevalent cause of chronic cough in children and adults. As a unique form of asthma, researchers have recently become increasingly interested in developing effective diagnostic and treatment methods. Currently, there has been no bibliometric analysis in CVA. Therefore, this study aims to enrich this knowledge network by examining the current development status, research focal points, and emerging trends in this field. Methods Articles and reviews on CVA published between 1993 and 2022 were collected from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database. Relevant data from the reports were extracted, and collaborative network analysis was performed using CiteSpace and VOSviewer software. Results 772 articles were included in this study, indicating a significant increase since 2019. The countries with the highest output are China, Japan. The Journal of Asthma and Pulmonary Pharmacology Therapeutics emerged as the most prolific journals in this field. Keyword analysis revealed 22 clusters, highlighting airway inflammation, airway hyperresponsiveness, and eosinophil as the main focus and frontier of research on CVA. Conclusion From the visual analysis results, the research of CVA is still in the development stage, and there is no unified definition of pathogenesis, diagnostic criteria and treatment strategies. Therefore, researchers and teams should actively carry out cross-institutional and cross-regional cooperation, expand cooperation areas, and carry out high-quality clinical research in the future.

Abstract
Methods Related studies on PD and ferroptosis were searched in Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) from inception to 2023. VOSviewer, CiteSpace, RStudio, and Scimago Graphica were employed as bibliometric analysis tools to generate network maps about the collaborations between authors, countries, and institutions and to visualize the co-occurrence and trends of co-cited references and keywords. Results A total of 160 original articles and reviews related to PD and ferroptosis were retrieved, produced by from 958 authors from 162 institutions. Devos David was the most prolific author, with 9 articles. China and the University of Melbourne had leading positions in publication volume with 84 and 12 publications, respectively. Current hot topics focus on excavating potential new targets for treating PD based on ferroptosis by gaining insight into specific molecular mechanisms, including iron metabolism disorders, lipid peroxidation, and imbalanced antioxidant regulation. Clinical studies aimed at treating PD by targeting ferroptosis remain in their preliminary stages. Conclusion A continued increase was shown in the literature within the related field over the past decade. The current study suggested active collaborations among authors, countries, and institutions. Research into the pathogenesis and treatment of PD based on ferroptosis has remained a prominent topic in the field in recent years, indicating that ferroptosis-targeted therapy is a potential approach to halting the progression of PD.

Abstract
Background Dysphagia is a common complication of stroke that can result in serious consequences. In recent years, more and more papers on post-stroke dysphagia have been published in various journals. However, there is still a lack of bibliometric analysis of post-stroke dysphagia. This study visually analyzes the global research situation of post-stroke dysphagia from 2013 to 2022, aiming to explore the current research status, frontier trends, and research hotspots in this field. Methods Articles and reviews relevant to post-stroke dysphagia were obtained and retrieved from the Web of Science core collection database in the last 10 years (from 2013 to 2022). CiteSpace and Microsoft Excel 2019 were used for bibliographic analysis. Results A total of 1,447 articles were included in the analysis. The number of publications showed an overall upward trend, from 72 in 2013 to 262 in 2022. The most influential authors, institutions, journals, and countries were Hamdy S, University of London, Dysphagia, and the People's Republic of China. An analysis of keywords and the literature indicated that current studies in the field of post-stroke dysphagia focused on dysphagia and aspiration, dysphagia classification, dysphagia rehabilitation, and daily living. Conclusion This bibliometric analysis reveals the latest advancements and emerging trends in the field of post-stroke dysphagia, spanning the years 2013 to 2022. It highlights the paramount importance of conducting large-scale randomized controlled trials examining the efficacy of dysphagia screening protocols and non-invasive intervention techniques in improving the quality of life for these patients. Such research efforts hold significant academic implications for the development of evidence-based treatment strategies in this field.

Abstract
Non-motor symptoms are prevalent among individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) and seriously affect patient quality of life, even more so than motor symptoms. In the past decade, an increasing number of studies have investigated non-motor symptoms in PD. The present study aimed to comprehensively analyze the global literature, trends, and hotspots of research investigating non-motor symptoms in PD through bibliometric methods. Studies addressing non-motor symptoms in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), published between January 2013 and December 2022, were retrieved. Bibliometric methods, including the R package "Bibliometrix," VOS viewer, and CiteSpace software, were used to investigate and visualize parameters, including yearly publications, country/region, institution, and authors, to collate and quantify information. Analysis of keywords and co-cited references explored trends and hotspots. There was a significant increase in the number of publications addressing the non-motor symptoms of PD, with a total of 3,521 articles retrieved. The United States was ranked first in terms of publications (n = 763) and citations (n = 11,269), maintaining its leadership position among all countries. King's College London (United Kingdom) was the most active institution among all publications (n = 133) and K Ray Chaudhuri was the author with the most publications (n = 131). Parkinsonism & Related Disorders published the most articles, while Movement Disorders was the most cited journal. Reference explosions have shown that early diagnosis, biomarkers, novel magnetic resonance imaging techniques, and deep brain stimulation have become research "hotspots" in recent years. Keyword clustering revealed that alpha-synuclein is the largest cluster for PD. The keyword heatmap revealed that non-motor symptoms appeared most frequently (n = 1,104), followed by quality of life (n = 502), dementia (n = 403), and depression (n = 397). Results of the present study provide an objective, comprehensive, and systematic analysis of these publications, and identifies trends and "hot" developments in this field of research. This work will inform investigators worldwide to help them conduct further research and develop new therapies.

Abstract
Background Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), a cerebral small vessel disease affecting leptomeningeal and cortical small blood vessels, is a common cause of spontaneous lobar intracerebral hemorrhage and cognitive impairment, particularly in elderly patients. This study aims to investigate the field of CAA research from a scientometric perspective. Methods Publications related to CAA from January 1st, 1999 to September 29th, 2023 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. The scientometric software VOSviewer and CiteSpace were used to analyze and visualize the publication trends, countries/regions, institutions, authors, journals, cited references, and keywords of CAA. Results A total of 2,798 publications related to CAA from 73 countries/regions, led by the United States, were included. The number of publications showed an increasing trend over time. Massachusetts General Hospital was the most productive institution, and authors Greenberg and Charidimou published the most papers and were most frequently co-cited. Journal of Alzheimer's Disease was the most prolific journal in this field, and Neurology was the most co-cited journal. Apart from "cerebral amyloid angiopathy", the most frequently used keywords were "Alzheimer's disease", "amyloid beta", "intracerebral hemorrhage", and "dementia". The burst keywords in recent years included "cortical superficial siderosis" and "dysfunction". Conclusions This scientometric analysis provides a comprehensive overview of CAA research over the past 25 years, and offers important insights for future research directions and scientific decision-making in this field.

Abstract
BackgroundPostural instability is a debilitating cardinal symptom of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Its onset marks a pivotal milestone in PD when balance impairment results in disability in many activities of daily living. Early detection of postural instability by non-expensive tools that can be widely used in clinical practice is a key factor in the prevention of falls in widespread population and their negative consequences.ObjectiveThis study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a two-dimensional balance assessment to identify the decline in postural control associated with PD progression.MethodsThis study recruited 55 people with PD, of which 37 were men. Eleven participants were in stage I, twenty-three in stage II, and twenty-one in stage III. According to the Hoehn and Yahr (H&Y) rating scale, three clinical balance tests (Timed Up and Go test, Balance Evaluation Systems Test, and Push and Release test) were carried out in addition to a static stance test recorded by a two-dimensional movement analysis software. Based on kinematic variables generated by the software, a Postural Instability Index (PII) was created, allowing a comparison between its results and those obtained by clinical tests.ResultsThere were differences between sociodemographic variables directly related to PD evolution. Although all tests were correlated with H&Y stages, only the PII was able to differentiate the first three stages of disease evolution (H&Y I and II: p = 0.03; H&Y I and III: p = 0.00001; H&Y II and III: p = 0.02). Other clinical tests were able to differentiate only people in the moderate PD stage (H&Y III).ConclusionBased on the PII index, it was possible to differentiate the postural control decline among the first three stages of PD evolution. This study offers a promising possibility of a low-cost, early identification of subtle changes in postural control in people with PD in clinical practice.
