Abstract
AIM Vaccinations have reduced illnesses and mortality rates globally, yet negative attitudes and uncertainty about them hinder their acceptability and efficacy. The study aims to document Greek parents' immunization perceptions and risk factors. METHODS Spanning 2014-2017, 447 parents (68% mothers) who participated in the Greek Health Examination Survey EMENO (National Survey of Morbidity and Risk Factors) completed an interview-delivered questionnaire. Attitudes were categorized into three groups: absolutely positive, positive, and negative. Absolutely positive attitudes included positive responses to all five statements in favor of vaccination and negative responses to the two statements against vaccination. Negative attitudes included positive responses to either one or both statements against vaccination and negative responses to all five statements in favor of vaccination.. All other participants were categorized as having a positive attitude. Skepticism towards vaccinations was classified into skeptical and non-skeptical groups based on responses to five statements implying uncertainty or skepticism. Participants were considered skeptical if they provided positive responses to at least three of these statements, and non-skeptical if they had none or up to two positive responses. The statistical analysis accounted for the study design whereas inverse probability weighting was used to adjust for non-response and multiple imputations were employed to impute missing values. The components of parental attitude and vaccine skepticism were identified using weighted multinomial logistic regression and logistic regression, respectively. RESULTS In total, 16.6% were classified as having absolutely positive attitudes towards vaccinations whereas 42.1% were skeptical of vaccines. Of all participants, 96.0% agreed that vaccinations are essential for their child's well-being and adhere to scientific recommendations. However, concerns were also mentioned, with 26.2% worrying about potential adverse effects, and 21.6% believing it is better to acquire immunity through illness rather than vaccination. Positive participants, compared to absolutely positive ones, were more likely to be of Greek origin (adjusted relative rate ratio (aRRR): 3.35; 95% CI: 1.53-7.30) and living in semi-urban areas (aRRR: 4.84; 95% CI: 1.77-13.29). Negative participants, in contrast, were more likely to have higher education (aRRR: 2.98; 95% CI: 1.05-8.44) but also to live in semi-urban areas (aRRR: 6.43; 95% CI: 1.69-24.56). Furthermore, parents of Greek origin had significantly higher odds of being skeptical towards vaccination (adjusted Odds Ratio (aOR): 2.86; 95% CI: 1.36-5.98), while married or cohabiting parents had lower odds of being skeptical compared to single parents (aOR: 0.60; 95% CI: 0.35-1.06). CONCLUSIONS While parents in this study recognize the importance of childhood immunizations, there is a widespread presence of negative attitudes and skepticism that can have a detrimental impact on vaccination rates.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Knowledge and trust are some of the contributing factors to vaccine acceptance(VA) and Vaccine hesitancy (VH) is one of the top threats to global health. A significant drop in childhood vaccination has been observed in recent years. One important reason that influences mothers' choice to either postpone or avoid children's vaccinations is knowledge and trust in childhood vaccines. This study aimed to assess mothers' knowledge and trust on vaccination of their children, and to examine the association between vaccination knowledge and selected socio-demographic factors. METHODS A cross-sectional survey was conducted from January 2022 to March 2022 to assess the knowledge and trust of mothers regarding childhood vaccination. Data was collected with self-administered questionnaires. Multivariable logistic regression analysis was employed to assess factors associated with childhood vaccine knowledge and trust. RESULTS Of the 2,126 Rwandan parents who participated in the study, the proportions with good knowledge of - and good trust in childhood vaccination were 95.5% and 91.4%, respectively. The popular sources of information about childhood vaccination were health care professionals (91.8%) and mass media (28.9%). Multinomial logistic regression analysis showed that good knowledge of - and trust in childhood vaccination were associated with the relationship with child(ren), education, occupation, and monthly income. The Multinomial logistic regression also revealed that the determinants of good knowledge of - and trust in childhood vaccination were; caregiver (p = 4.0 × 10-4, adjusted Odds Ratio (aOR); 1.7, 95%C.I; 1.3 - 2.3), no formal educational status (p = 3.3 × 10-2, aOR; 1.7, 95%C.I; 1.0 - 3.0), the unemployed occupational status (p = 2.4 × 10-2, aOR; 1.2, 95%C.I; 1.0 - 1.4), and persons on more than $401 per month (p = 2.0 × 10-4, aOR; 3.5, 95%C.I; 1.8 - 6.8). CONCLUSION The majority of parents in Rwanda had both good knowledge of-and good trust regarding childhood vaccination. Public health strategies to promote vaccination, education programmes as well as improved communication tools between health care professionals/traditional leaders/religious leaders and parents need to be considered to achieve favourable vaccination attitudes and practices for all parents in Rwanda.

Abstract
COVID-19 vaccination rates for children globally are relatively low. This study aimed to investigate parental vaccine hesitancy and parents' acceptance of a COVID-19 for their children for their children in the United States, China, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia.We analyzed data from an opt-in, internet-based cross-sectional study (n = 23,940). Parents were asked about their acceptance of a COVID-19 vaccine for their children, and if they would accept the vaccine with different risk and effectiveness profiles for themselves. Poisson regression was used to generate prevalence ratios (PR) of the relationship between vaccine acceptance for a child and vaccine profile, by country and waves and overall. Between August 2020 and June 2021, COVID-19 vaccine acceptance for children decreased in the United States (89% to 72%) and Taiwan (79% to 71%), increased in India (91% to 96%) and Malaysia (81% to 91%), and was stable in Indonesia (86%) and China (at 87%-90%). Vaccine risk and effectiveness profiles did not consistently affect parent's acceptance of a COVID-19 vaccine for their children. Instead, being not hesitant was a large driver of vaccine acceptance (PR: 1.24, 95% CI: 1.14, 1.36). Adolescent COVID-19 vaccination have already been established in many high and middle-income countries, but our study suggests that there is a movement of vaccine hesitancy which could impede the success of future pediatric and adolescent COVID-19 vaccination programs.

Abstract
Individuals with high health literacy, such as healthcare workers, are expected to appreciate vaccination benefits and ensure the vaccination of their children. The objective of this study was to examine the factors influencing nurses' decision to vaccinate their children against COVID-19. An online cross-sectional study was conducted in December 2020 (8th-28th), before COVID-19 vaccine availability in Cyprus, and employed an anonymous self-administered survey with questions related to socio-demographic characteristics, general vaccine knowledge, and COVID-19 vaccination. Three hundred five nurses with at least one minor child completed the online questionnaire. A small proportion of participants (15.2%) planned to get their children vaccinated against COVID-19. Interestingly, a higher level of vaccination knowledge score was linked with increased likelihood of vaccination intention (OR = 1.35, 95% CI:1.08-1.68), which remained statistically significant after adjusting for age and gender (OR = 1.33, 95% CI:1.06-1.66), socioeconomic (OR = 1.35, 95% CI:1.07-1.70), and demographic characteristics (OR = 1.38, 95% CI:1.07-1.77). Specific characteristics such as older age and being married/in cohabitation status were linked to higher odds of accepting the childhood vaccination against COVID-19. Acceptance of childhood vaccination against COVID-19 is linked with nurses' vaccination knowledge, therefore, public health authorities may focus on educational campaigns to promote childhood vaccination.

Abstract
Background Consumer perception of and satisfaction with vaccination services is a critical and commonly used indicator for evaluating the quality of services provided by concerned authorities. The present survey assessed maternal perceptions, hesitancy, satisfaction, and factors associated with childhood immunization services provided at the primary health centers (PHCs) of eastern Saudi Arabia. Methods The current analytical cross-sectional study included mothers of childhood vaccine beneficiaries attending PHCs in Hafr Al-Batin. We collected data related to mothers' perceptions, hesitancy, and satisfaction using a validated Arabic version of the data collection tool. Factors associated with low and high satisfaction with the immunization services were evaluated using logistic regression analysis. We performed Spearman correlation test to identify the correlation between the perception and satisfaction scores. Results Of the 675 participants, 87.4% were satisfied with the immunization services provided at the PHCs. The participants' satisfaction was significantly associated with the immunized child's age group (adjusted odds ratio [AOR] = 1.89, 95% CI = 1.39-2.89, p = 0.037) and occupation status (AOR = 1.42, 95% CI = 1.17-1.74, p = 0.024). Vaccine hesitancy was significantly associated with the mother's age group (AOR = 1.89, 95% CI of AR = 1.35-3.39, P = 0.003) and number of children (AOR = 1.42, 95% CI of AR = 1.17-1.74, P = 0.024), Additionally, we found a significant positive correlation (Spearman's rho = 0.207, p < 0.001) between perception and satisfaction scores. Conclusion We recommend targeted health education programs for mothers to improve their perceptions and the importance of all recommended childhood vaccines. Additionally, we suggest continuing maternal satisfaction assessments to enhance and maintain the quality of vaccination services.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to examine the factors influencing COVID-19 vaccine uptake among healthcare professionals (HCPs) and the general population in Cyprus. METHODS A web-based cross-sectional study was conducted (November 2021-January 2022), using a self-administered, anonymous questionnaire to collect information covering a wide range of potential determinants including sociodemographic and health-related characteristics, trust in the healthcare system, satisfaction with it, utilization of preventive healthcare services, COVID-19 vaccination information and general vaccination knowledge. RESULTS A total of 2582 participants completed the survey. Overall, 53.5% of participants representing the general population, and 70.0% of the HCPs received the COVID-19 vaccination. We found that as the age increases by 1 year among the general population, the odds of being vaccinated against COVID-19 increase by 1.02 units (95% 1.00, 1.03, p= 0.035). In addition, participants among the general population with increased trust in national healthcare authorities' guidelines (OR = 3.96, 95% CI: 3.41, 4.61), and increased vaccination knowledge scores (OR = 1.11, 95% CI: 1.05, 1.18) were significantly more likely to be vaccinated, while those who had underage children living in the household were significantly less likely to be vaccinated against COVID-19 (OR = 0.68, 95% CI: 0.50, 0.91). Furthermore, male HCPs (OR = 1.91, 95% CI: 1.01, 3.59), and those who reported increased trust in national healthcare authorities' guidelines (OR = 5.38, 95% CI: 3.65, 7.95) were significantly more likely to be vaccinated. CONCLUSION Public health policymakers can use national campaigns and long-term planning to build public trust in national healthcare authorities and raise awareness about the benefits of vaccination. Such strategies could pave the way for adequate vaccine uptake and prepare the public for unfavourable scenarios, such as future pandemics.
