Abstract
The research on work-life balance (WLB) published in journals with a Scopus index between 2011 and 2022 is carefully examined in this work. Our research attempts to clarify the evolution and trends in WLB research and the importance of publications that Scopus indexes. After analyzing 2717 research articles, we found that WLB publications have a significant annual growth rate of 14.71 %, which suggests that the trend continues to grow. Significant changes are seen, with 1888 papers produced between 2017 and 2022 highlighting a notable increase in interest in the field. With 1608 papers, social sciences account for the majority of WLB research. With 54 publications, Griffith University (Australia) is the most affiliated institution. With 30 papers, the "Economic and Social Research Council of the United Kingdom" became the primary source of financing. The most prolific author, with nine publications, is Lingard H. At the same time, co-citation analysis reveals 168 co-cited authors. The United States (USA), the United Kingdom (U.K.), and Australia (A.U.) are the top three producing nations. A thematic analysis reveals ten major WLB themes, from work stress to difficulties with human resource management. This study provides crucial insights for policymakers and leaders to address work-life balance issues effectively. Using tools like Gephi or CiteSpace, we could deepen our understanding through advanced analysis methods such as page rank and network visualization.

Abstract
Globally, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the health, social, and economic systems, triggering lasting damage and exposing the complexity of the problem beyond just being a health emergency. This crisis has highlighted the need for a comprehensive and collaborative strategy to successfully counter infectious diseases and other global challenges. With the COVID-19 pandemic pushing One Health to the forefront of global health and sustainable development agendas, this concept has emerged as a potential approach for addressing these challenges. In the context of COVID-19, this study investigates global knowledge about One Health by examining its state, significant contributions, and future directions. It seeks to offer an integrated framework of insights guiding the development of well-informed decisions. A comprehensive search using the Scopus database was conducted, employing specific terms related to One Health and COVID-19. VOSviewer 1.6.19 software was used to generate network visualization maps. Countries' research output was adjusted based on their gross domestic product (GDP) and population size. The study identified a total of 527 publications. The United States led with 134 documents (25.4%), but India topped the adjusted ranking. One Health journal stood as the most common outlet for disseminating knowledge (49 documents; 9.3%), while Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States emerged as the most prolific institution (13 documents; 2.5%). Key topics were related to the virus transmission mechanisms, climate change impacts, antimicrobial resistance, ecosystem health, preparedness, collaboration, community engagement, and developing of efficient surveillance systems. The study emphasizes how critical it is to capitalize on the present momentum of COVID-19 to advance One Health concepts. Integrating social and environmental sciences, and a variety of professions for better interaction and collaboration is crucial. Additionally, increased funding for developing countries, and legislative empowerment are vital to advance One Health and boost disease prevention.

Abstract
Conventional fault detection methods in photovoltaic systems face limitations when dealing with emerging monitoring systems that produce vast amounts of high-dimensional data across various domains. Accordingly, great interest appears within the international scientific community for the application of artificial intelligence methods, which are seen as a highly promising solution for effectively managing large datasets for detecting faults. In this review, more than 620 papers published since 2010 on artificial intelligence methods for detecting faults in photovoltaic systems are analyzed. To extract major research trends, in particular to detect most promising algorithms and approaches overcoming excessive time calculations, a conventional bibliographic survey would have been extremely difficult to complete. That is why this study proposes to carry out a review with an innovative approach based on a statistical method named Bibliometric and a Expert qualitative content analysis. This methodology consists of three stages. First, a collection of data from databases is carried out with all precautions to achieve a large, robust, high-quality database. Second, multiple bibliometric indicators are chosen based on the objectives to be achieved and analyzed to assess their real impact, such as the quantity and nature of publications, collaborative connections among organizations, researchers, and countries or most cited articles. Finally, the Expert qualitative content analysis carried out by experts identifies the current and emerging research topics that have the greatest impact on fault detection in photovoltaic systems using artificial intelligence.

Abstract
New COVID-19 ventilation guidelines have resulted in higher energy consumption to maintain indoor air quality (IAQ), and energy efficiency has become a secondary concern. Despite the significance of the studies conducted on COVID-19 ventilation requirements, a comprehensive investigation of the associated energy challenges has not been discussed. This study aims to present a critical systematic review of the Coronavirus viral spreading risk mitigation through ventilation systems (VS) and its relation to energy use. COVID-19 heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)-related countermeasures proposed by industry professionals have been reviewed and their influence on operating VS and energy consumption have also been discussed. A critical review analysis was then conducted on publications from 2020 to 2022. Four research questions (RQs) have been selected for this review concerning i) maturity of the existing literature, ii) building types and occupancy profile, iii) ventilation types and effective control strategies and iv) challenges and related causes. The results reveal that employing HVAC auxiliary equipment is mostly effective and increased fresh air supply is the most significant challenge associated with increased energy consumption due to maintaining IAQ. Future studies should focus on novel approaches toward solving the apparently conflicting objectives of minimizing energy consumption and maximizing IAQ. Also, effective ventilation control strategies should be assessed in various buildings with different occupancy densities. The implications of this study can be useful for future development of this topic not only to enhance the energy efficiency of the VS but also to enable more resiliency and health in buildings.

Abstract
Objective Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) develops rapidly in technology and applications. Nowadays EIT is used in multiple clinical and experimental scenarios including pulmonary, brain, and tissue monitoring, etc. The present study explores the research trends and hotspots on EIT extrapulmonary application research by bibliometrics analysis. Approach Publications on EIT extrapulmonary applications between 1987 and 2021 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. For precise screening, search strategy "electrical impedance tomography" plus "hemodynamic" or "brain" or "nerve" or "cancer" or "venous" or "vessel" or "tumor" or "veterinary" or "tissue" or "cell" or "wearable" or "application" and excluding "lung", "ventilation" "respiratory", "pulmonary", "algorithm", "current", "voltage" or "electrode" were used. CiteSpace and VOSviewer were used to analyze the publication features, collaboration, keywords co-occurrence, and co-cited reference. Main results A total of 506 articles were finally identified. The global publication numbers on extrapulmonary applications gradually increased yearly in the past 30 years. The US, UK, and China contributed most three publications concerning EIT extrapulmonary applications. "tissues", "conductivity", "model" were research hotspots, and "cutaneous melanoma", "microstructure", "diagnosis" were recent topics (Portions of this research have previously been presented in poster form). Significance Overall, EIT extrapulmonary applications bibliometrics analysis provides a unique insight into research focus, current trends, and future directions.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic management has led to a significant change in orthopedic surgical activity. During the pandemic, femur fractures in patients over 65 years of age have maintained a constant incidence. Our study will focus on this fragile population, analyzing the incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection during hospital stays and the clinical and radiographic orthopedic outcomes. We also evaluated the va\riation of COVID-19 infection after health professionals' vaccinations, and the influence of inter-hospital transfers caused by logistical and organizational aspects of the pandemic. Material and Methods: This is a descriptive and prospective study from 13 October 2020 to 15 March 2021. Participants were patients over 65 years of age with diagnoses of proximal femoral fractures with r surgical treatments indicated. We compared the SARS-CoV-2 infected patients during the stay with non-infected cases. A second evaluation was carried out dividing the patients into those who underwent inter-hospital transfers and a group without transfers. We subdivided the study period into two, according to the percentage of healthcare workers vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2. The reported clinical variables included the Parker and Palmer Score, the Nottingham Hip Fracture Score, the Harris Hip Score, mortality, the Rush Score, and evaluation of reduction in radio-lucent lines in prosthetic implants. Results: Ninety-three patients were studied. The whole positive COVID cohort (11.83%) was hospitalized during the period when less than 80% of health workers were vaccinated (p = 0.02). The COVID cohort and the patients transferred before surgery had longer stays in the Emergency Room (p = 0.019; p = 0.00007) and longer lengths of stay compared to the other patients (p = 0.00001; p = 0.001). Mortality was higher both in the infected group and in the patients who underwent a transfer before the surgical procedure (18.18% vs. 1.22 %; p = 0.003. 25% vs. 6.85%; p = 0.02). In terms of orthopedic outcomes measured through the third month of follow-up, we found worse score results in functional and radiographic outcomes in the COVID positive cohort and in the transferred patients' cohort. Conclusions: The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on patients treated for proximal femur fracture was statistically significant. Patients with Coronavirus during hospitalization obtained poor short-term radiographic and functional results and increased peri-operative mortality. The incidence of intra-hospital infection was high during the period in which health professionals were not yet covered by the anti-COVID vaccination cycle. Patients who were transferred between two hospitals due to pandemic-related management issues also achieved reduced outcomes compared to non-transferred cases, with increased mortality.

Abstract
Stem cell therapy is a promising treatment for knee osteoarthritis, but few bibliometric studies have been performed on the subject. Bibliometric analysis is helpful for identifying the most influential studies in a specific field and can evaluate the global research trends in stem cell therapy for knee osteoarthritis. The Web of Science Core Collection was searched for publications from 2001 to 2021. Publication performance was analyzed using several bibliometric parameters, including VOSviewer, to identify the research landscape of trends in topics, and CiteSpace was investigated to identify the keywords that have the strongest citation bursts. From 2001 to 2021, in total, 1,345 publications explored the research on stem cells in knee osteoarthritis. The United States contributed the largest number of publications and at the top list of international collaborations. Tokyo Medical and Dental University ranked first among institutions in the overall number of articles and citations. The journal of Osteoarthritis and Cartilage had the largest number of publications. Sekiya Ichiro was the most cited author, with 32 articles. The keywords with the most frequent occurrence were “osteoarthritis,” “mesenchymal stem cells,” and “cartilage,” in descending order of frequency. “fibroblast growth factor” and “extracellular vesicle” were the first and last searched theme terms, respectively. The number of publications on stem cells for knee osteoarthritis stays growing. Cartilage repair and paracrine function are current research hotspots for the stem cell therapy mechanism. Stem cell therapy has gradually advanced from basic research to the clinical application stage.

Abstract
The literature on the COVID-19 landscape has rapidly expanded in the pandemic period. The current study undertakes a bibliometric analysis of research in the topic of the clinical and laboratory characteristics of pediatric COVID-19 cases. Our aim is to perform a comprehensive bibliometric review of current research trends and patterns of this research domain. Publications retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection and VOSviewer were used for analysis and network visualization. We analyzed geographical distribution and temporal trends, collaboration and citation patterns of authors, institutions, and countries, and core research themes from co-occurrence of keywords and terms. The analysis showed that contributions in the research field were from 302 publications, 1104 institutions, 62 countries, and 172 journals. Many publications were authored by American and Chinese authors, and many were published in the Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal, Pediatric Pulmonology, and Frontiers in Pediatrics. The top cited and co-cited journals were the New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, JAMA, Lancet Infectious Diseases, and BMJ. The network visualization maps of keywords and terms offered a global overview of the clinical and laboratory characteristics of pediatric COVID-19 patients. The bibliometric profile of the researched domain, based on analyzing a large collection of publications/data, could (i) enrich the researchers and non-researchers understanding of the field existing patterns and trends, and (ii) be useful in clinical practice (diagnostic and management) and public health policy.

Abstract
The pigeon circovirus (PiCV), first described in the literature in the early 1990s, is considered one of the most important infectious agents affecting pigeon health. Thirty years after its discovery, the current review has employed bibliometric strategies to map the entire accessible PiCV-related research corpus with the aim of understanding its present research landscape, particularly in consideration of its historical context. Subsequently, developments, current knowledge, and important updates were provided. Additionally, this review also provides a textual analysis examining the relationship between PiCV and the young pigeon disease syndrome (YPDS), as described and propagated in the literature. Our examination revealed that usages of the term ‘YPDS’ in the literature are characterizations that are diverse in range, and neither standard nor equivalent. Guided by our understanding of the PiCV research corpus, a conceptualization of PiCV diseases was also presented in this review. Proposed definitions and diagnostic criteria for PiCV subclinical infection (PiCV-SI) and PiCV systemic disease (PiCV-SD) were also provided. Lastly, knowledge gaps and open research questions relevant to future PiCV-related studies were identified and discussed.

Abstract
Background Worldwide, concerns rise on how COVID-19 pandemic impacted heavily on women, even on those belonging to the scientific community. The Italian scientific production regarding the COVID-19 throughout the first months of the health emergency could help to understand the heft of female researchers in this unique period. Objectives This study aims to investigate the gender gap in the scientific production on COVID-19 in Italy during the first months of the pandemic. Methods A systematic search of the literature was conducted and, for each included study, first and last author's gender, type of study, number of co-authors, type of affiliation, journal's Impact Factor (IF) and specialization were extracted. Descriptive and univariate analyses were performed. Results 22.2% of the articles were signed by a woman as first author, 18.1% as last authors. Female authorship was less frequent than male authorship regardless of the type of study, number of co-authors, type of affiliation and field of specialization. Conclusion This analysis reveal a low prevalence of studies with a female first or last author and suggests that the low share of female authors publishing on COVID-19 during the considered timespan is a transversal issue throughout the Italian medical field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND COVID-19 spread quickly around the world shortly after the first outbreaks of the new coronavirus disease at the end of December 2019, affecting all populations, including pregnant women. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between different publications on COVID-19 in pregnancy and their authors through citation networks, as well as to identify the research areas and to determine the publication that has been the most highly cited. METHODS The search for publications was carried out through the Web of Science database using terms such as "pregnancy," "SARS-CoV-2," "pregnant," and "COVID-19" for the period between January and December 2020. Citation Network Explorer software was used for publication analysis and VOSviewer software was used to construct the figures. This approach enabled an in-depth network analysis to visualize the connections between the related elements and explain their network structure. RESULTS A total of 1330 publications and 5531 citation networks were identified in the search, with July being the month with the largest number of publications, and the United States, China, and England as the countries with the greatest number of publications. The most cited publication was "Clinical characteristics and intrauterine vertical transmission potential of COVID-19 infection in nine pregnant women: a retrospective review of medical records" by Chen and colleagues, which was published in March 2020. Six groups identified as being close in the citation network reflect multidisciplinary research, including clinical characteristics and outcomes in pregnancy, vertical transmission, delivery mode, and psychological impacts of the pandemic on pregnant women. CONCLUSIONS Thousands of articles on COVID-19 have been published in several journals since the disease first emerged. Identifying relevant publications and obtaining a global view of the main papers published on COVID-19 and pregnancy can lead to a better understanding of the topic. With the accumulation of scientific knowledge, we now know that the clinical features of COVID-19 during pregnancy are generally similar to those of infected nonpregnant women. There is a small increase in frequency of preterm birth and cesarean birth, related to severe maternal illness. Vaccination for all pregnant women is recommended. Several agents are being evaluated for the treatment of COVID-19, but with minimal or no information on safety in pregnancy. These results could form the basis for further research. Future bibliometric and scientometric studies on COVID-19 should provide updated information to analyze other relevant indicators in this field.

Abstract
Objective This study explores the emerging trends and hot topics concerning applications on electrical impedance tomography (EIT) in clinical lung monitoring. Methods Publications on EIT applications in clinical lung monitoring in 2001–2021 were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). The search strategy was “electrical impedance tomography” and “lung.” CiteSpace, a VOS viewer was used to study the citation characteristics, cooperation, and keyword co-occurrence. Moreover, co-cited reference clustering, structural variation analysis (SVA), and future research trends were presented. Results Six hundred and thirty-six publications were included for the final analysis. The global annual publications on clinical lung monitoring gradually increased in the last two decades. Germany contributes 32.2% of total global publications. University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (84 publications, cited frequency 2,205), Physiological Measurement (105 publications, cited frequency 2,056), and Inéz Frerichs (116 articles, cited frequency 3,609) were the institution, journal, and author with the largest number of article citations in the research field. “Electrical impedance tomography” (occurrences, 304), “mechanical ventilation” (occurrences, 99), and “acute respiratory distress syndrome” (occurrences, 67) were the top most three frequent keywords, “noninvasive monitoring” (Avg, pub, year: 2008.17), and “extracorporeal membrane oxygenation” (Avg, pub, year: 2019.60) were the earliest and latest keywords. The keywords “electrical impedance tomography” (strength 7.88) and co-cited reference “Frerichs I, 2017, THORAX” (strength 47.45) had the highest burst value. “Driving pressure,” “respiratory failure,” and “titration” are the three keywords still maintaining a high brush value until now. The largest and smallest cluster of the co-cited references are “obstructive lung diseases” (#0, size: 97) and “lung perfusion” (#20, size: 5). Co-cited reference “Frerichs I, 2017, THORAX” (modularity change rate: 98.49) has the highest structural variability. Categories with most and least interdisciplinary crossing are “ENGINEERING” and “CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE.” Conclusions EIT is a valuable technology for clinical lung monitoring, gradually converting from imaging techniques to the clinic. Research hot spots may continue monitoring techniques, the ventilation distribution of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and respiratory therapy strategies. More diversified lung function monitoring studies, such as lung perfusion and interdisciplinary crossing, are potentially emerging research trends.
