Abstract
A 5-year-old intact male mixed-breed cat weighing 4.5 kg was referred to our hospital with a left testicular mass. CT revealed mild heterogeneous contrast enhancement and calcification in the testicular mass. A well-defined, contrast-enhancing, multiloculated mass with fluid-filled areas was extended from the testicular mass in the scrotum to the caudal aspect of the left kidney. The abdominal mass extended to the right crus of the diaphragm, and the gastrointestinal tract was compressed dorsally. Histopathology was consistent with teratoma. Characteristic CT findings in a feline testicular teratoma may include calcification and cystic areas.

Abstract
Teratoma is a rare tumour in fish consisting of tissues from more than one germ layer, that may be located in either the gonads or extragonadal sites. Teratomas in many fish species remain poorly understood. In this work, we performed the first histological examinations of extragonadal teratomas in Poecilia wingei and also examined the influence of a large teratoma on male sexual activity. The studied teratomas shared general organizational features, but they also had variations in both external and internal features. In teratomas, the most common and highly differentiated tissues were striated muscle and nervous tissue. Despite the tumour, the male P. wingei exhibited normal mating behaviour and retained the ability for successful copulation. The structural features of extragonadal teratomas in guppy fish indicate a possible connection between these tumours and a failure of conserved processes operating in the embryonic germline.

Abstract
Background Teratomas are rare types of germ cell neoplasms composed of various differentiated or undifferentiated tissues. Case Description A 25-week-old female control FVB /n mouse in a 4-week toxicity study presented abdominal distension and poor body condition. It was euthanized, and the necropsy examination revealed a large mass connected to the tip of the right uterine horn, occupying the entire abdominal cavity. Microscopically, this mass showed areas of epidermal differentiation, with laminated keratin and sebaceous glands, differentiation into respiratory and digestive epithelium, cartilage, bone, and extensive areas of differentiation into the nervous tissue, being classified as an ovarian teratoma. Conclusion As far as authors know, the occurrence of ovarian teratomas in the FVB/n mouse strain has never been previously described.

Abstract
Background Extragonadal teratoma in the head and neck region is unusual in veterinary medicine. So far, only one case of oropharyngeal teratoma has been reported in a cat. Case description In this report, a 5-month-old kitten was brought to the clinic with the complaint of difficulty breathing, food intake, and oropharyngeal mass. In clinical examination, there was a large mass, protruding from the localization included left buccal mucosa, soft palate, and extending into the oropharynx but no cranial extension was observed in CT scans. The mass was completely resected. Macroscopically, the mass measured 4.5 × 6.5 cm2 and contained solid and cystic areas associated with soft and hard tissue components. Findings/treatment and outcome Histopathology revealed an extragonadal solid-cystic (grade 0) oropharyngeal mature teratoma containing structures from endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm. After an 8-month follow-up control period, no signs of recurrence were observed. Conclusion The case was deemed worthy of being presented with its clinical, radiological, and pathological findings, and complete resection was curative for mature teratoma.
