Abstract
Andrographis echioides has been extensively utilized in traditional Indian folk medicines for several skin disorders and other biological actions such as diuretic, antimicrobial, anthelmintic, anti-ulcer, and hepatoprotective properties. Different crude extracts were extracted from A. echioides leaves using various solvents such as methanol and water. The prepared crude extracts were utilized to formulate different herbal ointments. Further, the prepared ointments were examined against wounds and bacterial pathogens. The wound healing ability of the prepared formulations was observed for F1, F2, and F3, to be (89.84%, 95.11%, and 95.75%) respectively. Moreover, wound healing capabilities were compared with standard Betadine which exhibits 98.12%, those results indicating that the prepared herbal ointment also has a promising wound healing ability. The F2 formulations outperform the other two formulations (F1 and F2) in terms of their antibacterial ability to combat Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae Bacillus subtilis, and Escherichia coli. Moreover, there are two compounds were successfully isolated and identified from methanolic extract, which are 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-chromene-3,5,7-triol and 3-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-2-propenoic acid. Meanwhile, the molecular docking investigation exposed high binding energy Staphylococcus aureus TyrRS (-8.9 kcal/mol), Isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase (-7.5 kcal/mol), Penicillin-binding protein 2a (-8.0 kcal/mol), S. aureus DNA Gyrase (-7.2 kcal/mol), GSK-3beta (Glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta) (-8.3 kcal/mol) and TGF - Beta Receptor Type 1 Kinase Domain (-8.7 kcal/mol) indicating high degree of interaction between Compound-1 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-chromene-3,5,7-triol (DHPDHC) and 7 clinically important skin infective pathogen Staphylococcus aureus proteins at the active sites. Additionally, the standard drug Povidone iodine, Sulphothiazole, and Nitrofurazone (<-8 kcal/mol), displayed low binding affinity on targeted proteins. A molecular dynamics simulation research with high free energy showed stable interaction between the ligand and protein. Which endorses the capabilities of A. echioides derived compounds as a potential wound healer and antibacterial therapeutic candidate for drug development in the future.

Abstract
Medicinal plants are a reservoir of biologically active compounds with therapeutic properties that over time have been reported and used by diverse groups of people for treatment of various diseases. This review covers 15 selected medicinal plants distributed in Myanmar, including Dalbergia cultrata, Eriosema chinense, Erythrina suberosa, Millettia pendula, Sesbania grandiflora, Tadehagi triquetrum, Andrographis echioides, Barleria cristata, Justicia gendarussa, Premna integrifolia, Vitex trifolia, Acacia pennata, Cassia auriculata, Croton oblongifolius and Glycomis pentaphylla. Investigation of the phytochemical constituents, biological and pharmacological activities of the selected medicinal plants is reported. This study aims at providing a collection of publications on the species of selected medicinal plants in Myanmar along with a critical review of the literature data. As a country, Myanmar appears to be a source of traditional drugs that have not yet been scientifically investigated. This review will be support for further investigations on the pharmacological activity of medicinal plant species in Myanmar.

Abstract
Fifty-five compounds were isolated from the fresh stems of Cissus assamica, including 14 benzenoids, 11 triterpenes, nine steroids, five tocopherols, five chlorophylls, four flavonoids, two benzoquinones, two tannins, and three other compounds. Their structures were constructed by 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and mass spectral data, and were also identified by a comparison of their spectral data with those reported in the literature. Among these isolates, 1,2-bis-(5--tocopheryl) ethane (51) was reported for the first time from natural sources. Some purified compounds were examined for their anti-inflammatory and anticancer bioactivities. The results indicated that betulinic acid (16) exhibited strong inhibition of superoxide anion generation with IC50 value of 0.2 ± 0.1 μM, while betulinic acid (16) and pheophytin-a (47) inhibited elastase release with IC50 value of 2.7 ± 0.3 and 5.3 ± 1.0 μM, respectively. In addition, betulinic acid (16) and epi-glut-5(6)-en-ol (18) exhibited potential cytotoxicity to non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NCI-H226) and colon cancer (HCT-116) cell lines with IC50 values in the range of 1.6 to 9.1 μM.

Abstract
Five new acyclic amides, clausenalansamides C-G (1-5), clausenaline G (6) and (±)-5-(4-methylphenyl)-γ-valerolactone (7) reported from the natural source for the first time, were characterized from the leaves of Clausena lansium. Their structures were established by spectroscopic and spectrometric methods, and the absolute configurations of new compounds 1-5 were determined by electronic circular dichroism and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Eighteen compounds were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity and only imperatorin (11) and wampetin (12) displayed significant inhibition of fMLP/CB-induced superoxide anion generation with IC50 values of 1.7 ± 0.3 and 6.8 ± 1.1 μM, respectively.

Abstract
Andrographis nallamalayana is being widely used as tribal medicine in the treatment of leucoderma and mouth ulcers. Chemical profiling of methanolic extract of the whole plant (PE), using GC-MS and LC-MS, revealed the presence of compounds viz. α-tocopherol, β-sitosterol, tetradecanoic acid, monostearin, flavones/flavanones and their glycosides, chromones, etc. Topical application of imiquimod on the dorsal portion of male BALB/C mice resulted in the development of psoriatic symptoms (erythema, scaling, thickening and folding) with a mean disease activity index (DAI) of >7.0. Topical treatment with 100-μL PE (~6.4%/12.8%) formulations, for 12-days, resulted in the alleviation of disease symptoms. Compared to water-based formulations, emu oil-based formulation, PE400EO was found more effective in reducing the mean DAI (>84%), keratinocyte count (>65%) (p < 0.01) and interleukin-22 (~70%) (p < 0.05). We report, for the first time, anti-psoriatic activity of A. nallamalayana having great potential in developing a potent phytomedicine against psoriasis.

Abstract
The present study reveals the efficiency of Andrographis echioides for green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The leaf aqueous extract of A. echioides was used for the synthesis of AgNPs and they were characterized by UV-visible, High Resonance Scanning Electron Microscope (HRSEM), Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis. The toxicity of AgNPs was evaluated by using MTT assay. Our present study showed that biosynthesized AgNPs inhibited proliferation of human breast adenocarcinoma cancer cell line (MCF-7) with 31.5 μg/mL at 24h incubation. Results suggest that AgNPs may exert its anticancer activity on MCF-7 cell line by suppressing its growth. The silver nanoparticles was studied against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. The highest antibacterial activity was found against Escherichia coli (28 mm) and Staphylococcus aureus (23 mm) respectively.
