Abstract
This study revealed a new inhibitor of Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII), a crucial factor in cardiovascular disease and hypertension. The study focuses on the bioactivity compounds that combine adamantane/1,3,4-oxadiazole, potentially inhibiting CaMKIIδ. Various adamantyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives were synthesized and tested for their efficiency against CaMKIIδ kinase, with 6f being the most potent with an IC50 value of 14.4 μM. Docking studies were carried out to determine the binding processes of these chemicals within the kinase’s active region. These discoveries are an important step toward the development of novel treatments for cardiovascular illnesses and hypertension, with the potential for more precise and efficient therapeutic interventions in the future.

Abstract
AbstractSynthesis of new Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) complexes of two azo ligands; 1-(phenyldiazenyl) naphthalene-2-ol (sudan orange R, HL1), and sodium 2-hydroxy-5-[(E)-(4-nitrophenyl) diazenyl]benzoate (alizarin yellow GG, HL2) have been reported. Stoichiometries of 1:2 and 1:3 (M:L) of the synthesized complexes were approved by total-reflection X-ray fluorescence technique (TXRF) and by elemental analyses. The geometry of complexes (octahedral and square planar) was typified by various spectroscopic, thermal, and magnetic techniques. The ESR spectroscopy showed that Cu(II) complexes are of different isotropic and rhombic symmetries with the existence of Cu–Cu ions interaction. TGA, DTA, and DSC analyses supported the multi-stage thermal decomposition mechanisms, where the thermal breakdown is ended by the formation of metal oxide in most cases. Moreover, chemical reactivity modeling using the density functional theory (DFT) method with the B3LYP/6–31 basis set, showed that metal complexes are more biologically active than their precursor ligands. The calculated lipophilicity character for metal complexes is in the range of 33.8–37.5 eV. Docking results revealed high scoring energy for [Fe(HL2)3].H2O complex and moderate inhibition strength of [Cu(L1)2].H2O complex versus 1bqb, 3t88, and 4esw proteins. Ultimately, the extent of biological effectiveness was endorsed experimentally against four microbial strains. The results are guidelines for toxicological investigations.

Abstract
Four new complexes derived from adamantly containing hydrazone (APH) ligand with Cu(II) (1), Co(II) (2), Ni(II) (3) and Zn(II) (4), have been synthesized and characterized using different physicochemical methods. The structure of the ligand APH and its copper complex 1 have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction direct methods, which reveal that complex 1 has distorted square-pyramidal geometry. Complexes 1–4 are screened against seven human cancer cell lines namely, breast cancer cell lines (MCF7, T47D, MDA-MB-231), prostate cancer cell lines (PC3, DU145) and the colorectal cancer cell line Coco-2, for their antiproliferative activities. Complex 1 has shown a promising anticancer activity compared to the other ones. The structural and spectroscopic analysis of APH and its complexes are confirmed by DFT calculations.

Abstract
The mixed-ligand copper(II) iminodiacetates [Cu(ida)(2-mim)(H2O)2]·H2O (1), [Cu(ida)(2-mim)2]·2H2O (2), [Cu(ida)(2-mim)(H2O)]n·4.5nH2O (3), and [Cu2(ida)2(2-mim)2]n·nH2O (4) (H2ida = iminodiacetic acid, 2-mim = 2-methylimidazole) were obtained from neutral or alkaline solutions at different temperatures. The novel complex 4 contains very small holes with diameters of 2.9 Å, which can adsorb O2 selectively and reversibly between 1.89 to 29.90 bars, compared with the different gases of N2, H2, CO2, and CH4. This complex is stable up to 150 °C based on thermal analyses and XRD patterns. The four complexes show catalytic activities that facilitate the conversion of cyclohexane to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone with hydrogen peroxide in a solution. The total conversion is 31% for 4.

Abstract
For the first time, orthogonally substituted azole-carboxylate adamantane ligands were synthesized and used for preparation of coordination polymers. The angle-shaped ligands were prepared by the reaction of 1-adamantanecarboxylic acid and azoles (1H-1,2,4-triazole, 3-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole, 3,5-dimethyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole, 1H-tetrazole, 5-methyl-1H-tetrazole) in concentrated sulfuric acid. Variation of the solvent and substituents in azole rings allowed to prepare both 1D and 2D copper(II) and nickel(II) coordination polymers, [Cu2(trzadc)4(H2O)0.7]∙DMF∙0.3H2O, [Cu(trzadc)2(MeOH)]∙MeOH, [Ni(trzadc)2(MeOH)2] and [Cu2(mtrzadc)3(MeOH)]+NO3– (trzadc-3-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-adamantane-1-carboxylic acid; mtrzadc-3-(3-methyl-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-adamantane-1-carboxylic acid) which were structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex [Cu(trzadc)2(MeOH)]∙MeOH was shown to act as a catalyst in the Chan-Evans-Lam arylation reaction.
