Abstract
Mangoes (Mangifera indica) are widely prized for their abundant nutritional content and variety of beneficial bioactive compounds and are popularly utilized in various foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics industries. However, it is important to note that certain proteins present in mango can trigger various allergic reactions, ranging from mild oral allergy syndrome to severe life-threatening anaphylaxis. The immunoglobulin E-mediated hypersensitivity of mango is mainly associated with three major allergenic proteins: Man i 1 (class IV chitinase), Man i 2 (pathogenesis-related-10 protein; Bet v 1-related protein), and Man i 4 (profilin). Food processing techniques can significantly affect the structure of mango allergens, reducing their potential to cause allergies. However, it is worth mentioning that complete elimination of mango allergen immunoreactivity has not been achieved. The protection of individuals sensitized to mango should be carefully managed through an avoidance diet, immediate medical care, and long-term oral immunotherapy. This review covers various aspects related to mango allergy, including prevalence, pathogenesis, symptoms, and diagnosis. Furthermore, the characterization of mango allergens and their potential cross-reactivity with other fruits, vegetables, plant pollen, and seeds were discussed. The review also highlights the effects of food processing on mango and emphasizes the available strategies for managing mango allergy.

Abstract
The growing emphasis on dietary health has facilitated the development of plant-based foods. Plant proteins have excellent functional attributes and health-enhancing effects and are also environmentally conscientious and animal-friendly protein sources on a global scale. The addition of plant proteins (including soy protein, pea protein, zein, nut protein, and gluten protein) to diverse cheese varieties and cheese analogs holds the promise of manufacturing symbiotic products that not only have reduced fat content but also exhibit improved protein diversity and overall quality. In this review, we summarized the utilization and importance of various plant proteins in the production of hybrid cheeses and cheese analogs. Meanwhile, classification and processing methods related to these cheese products were reviewed. Furthermore, the impact of different plant proteins on the microstructure, textural properties, physicochemical attributes, rheological behavior, functional aspects, microbiological aspects, and sensory characteristics of both hybrid cheeses and cheese analogs were discussed and compared. Our study explores the potential for the development of cheeses made from full/semi-plant protein ingredients with greater sustainability and health benefits. Additionally, it further emphasizes the substantial chances for scholars and developers to investigate the optimal processing methods and applications of plant proteins in cheeses, thereby improving the market penetration of plant protein hybrid cheeses and cheese analogs.

Abstract
Due to the scale of the phenomenon, food allergy constitute a significant health problem and significantly impair the quality of life of patients. Differential diagnostics, including skin tests, sIgE detection tests, basophil and mast cell activation tests as well as double-blind placebo-controlled food challenge tests, is the gold standard in the diagnosis of food allergy. Recently, increasing attention has been paid to the potential use of nasal provocation test in the diagnosis of food allergy. Allergen dose, protocol standardization, assessment of subjective complaints and objectivization of test results are important factors determining the applicability of provocation tests.

Abstract
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common chronic inflammatory skin disorder in childhood. Skin barrier impairment exposes infants to food allergens, potentially causing sensitization followed by IgE-mediated food allergy. We describe the case of an infant with severe AD in whom several sensitizations to foods are detected, with consequently difficult weaning, and a history of anaphylaxis to cashew nut. Foods for which skin tests were negative were introduced into the infant's diet. Then, when AD control was managed, oral food challenges (OFCs) for foods to which the patient was sensitized, with the exception of cashew nut, were performed. The simultaneous presence of sensitization toward multiple foods made it difficult to introduce them using classic OFC. Therefore, it was decided to perform the low-dose, gradual controlled OFC. This led to an introduction of sensitized foods into the infant's diet, with the exception of cashew nut, avoiding allergic reactions. Absolute recommendations on how, when, and where to perform OFCs with allergenic food to which the child with AD is sensitized are lacking so far. In our opinion, OFCs and the subsequent ntroduction of allergenic foods should be individualized, evaluating some factors such as their social and nutritional importance, the patient's age and clinical phenotype (including the history of anaphylaxis), and the sensitization profile. There is agreement on the fact that the dietary approach in children with moderate-severe AD should no longer include a strict elimination diet. We believe that an early, gradual controlled introduction of all allergenics to identify the amount of food tolerated in the absence of reactions, even if low dose, may improve patients' and families' quality of life. However, even if discussing a vast relevant literature, the limitation of our work is that we describe the management of a single patient. Extensive and high-quality research is needed in this field to improve the available evidence in the area.

Abstract
Hazelnut allergy is the most prevalent type of nut allergy in Europe, with symptoms that can range from mild, such as hives and itching, to severe, such as anaphylaxis, particularly in patients who are sensitized to highly stable allergens, such as storage proteins. Compared to other types of food allergies, allergies to tree nuts, including hazelnuts, tend to persist throughout life. Although symptoms can appear in early childhood, they often continue into adulthood, with a minority of cases improving during adolescence. Currently, there is no curative treatment available for hazelnut allergy, and patients must adhere to a restrictive diet and carry autoinjective epinephrine. However, oral allergen immunotherapy (AIT) is a promising treatment option. Patients can be categorized based on their risk for severe reactions using various clinical, in vivo, and in vitro tests, including component-resolved diagnosis and oral food challenge. This review aims to provide an overview of the current knowledge of the natural history of hazelnut allergy and new approaches for its diagnosis and management.
