Abstract
BACKGROUND: Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive under 5-year-old due to chronic malnutrition causing the children become too short for their age. The contribution of this research is to prevent and reduce stunting through Stunting Early Detection training.
AIM: The objective of the current research is to develop a model for mother empowerment in preventing and intervention stunting in children through stunting early detection training.
METHODS: Phase I is the development of a mother empowerment model in the prevention and intervention of stunting in children using a survey with a cross sectional design. Phase II is the implementation of the model using Quasi Experimental Nonrandomized Prepost Control Group Design.
RESULTS: The results of the study obtained that mothers who had good characteristics increased their knowledge 0.423 (p = 0.000). Mothers who have good knowledge increase their mother commitment 0.230 (p = 0.004), mothers who have a good commitment reduce stunting in children 0.448 (p = 0.000), mothers who have good knowledge increase family support 0.236 (p = 0.040), and good family support reduces stunting 0.257 (p = 0.011).
CONCLUSION: A new finding is the formation of a Mother Empowerment Model in the Prevention and Intervention of Stunting through Stunting Early Detection Training where mother commitment is the most influential factor.

Food insecurity arises the likelihood of hospitalization in patients with COVID-19. Sci Rep 2021; 11:20072. Abstract
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Corona pandemic as a public health emergency. This pandemic affects the main pillars of food security. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between food insecurity and the probability of hospitalization and the length of the recovery period after getting COVID-19. The cross-sectional study was performed through the census on COVID-19 patients diagnosed in Fasa, Iran. Informed consent, demographic, and food security questionnaire were completed over the phone. Then, all patients were followed up until recovery. Data were analyzed using SPSS26 and Chi-square test, t-test, and logistic regression (P < 0.05). In this study, 219 COVID-19 patients [100 (54.7%) male and 119 (54.3%) female] with a mean age of 40.05 ± 15.54 years old were examined. Possibility of hospitalization and the length of the recovery period of more than one month was significantly longer in the food-insecure group (P = 0.001) and (P = 0.37), respectively, but the mean length of hospital stay in the two groups was not significantly different (P = 0.76). After adjusting for all confounding variables, people with food insecurity were 3.9 times more likely to be hospitalized than those with food security. Overall, we observed that food-insecure people were significantly more likely to be hospitalized than the secure group.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES One of the existential questions during adolescence is about the ambiguity in spiritual realms. Adolescents at this age not only have the spiritual, psychological, and unique needs, but also have spiritual needs that help them to relax and solve problems. Therefore, this qualitative study aimed to understand the concept of spiritual self-care in Iranian adolescents in 2019. METHODS This qualitative study with content analysis approach was conducted on 14 adolescents with the age range of 14-20 years, who had been selected by purposeful sampling method. Data were collected by semi-structured interviews which were carried out between 4 March 2019 and 20 August 2019. RESULTS The interviews were transcribed immediately after the recording, and then were analyzed using direct content analysis. A total of 252 primary codes related to the adolescents' spiritual self-care were extracted from the analysis, which determined 4 main aspects of spiritual self-care (spiritual belief, spiritual experience, social-religious activities, and spiritual growth). CONCLUSIONS The findings of this study showed that, spiritual self-care is a form of self-care by which a person uses his or her spiritual beliefs, teachings, and experiences as a source of control over stress and crises, and will be able to cope with problems.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Playing games for children is an instinct needed for ensuring happiness, it is a language for communication and self-expression, and a way to learn new things. Therefore, the present study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of child-parent relationship therapy (CPRT) on the social skills of preschool children. METHODS An experimental study with a pretest-posttest design was conducted on 60 preschool children in Kordkuy City, Golestan Province, Iran in 2017 by using a simple random sampling method in both the experimental and control groups. Routine preschool education was performed in the control group and in the experimentalgroup it was done based on play therapy protocol in 10 sessions for 45-60 min. The social skills questionnaire authored by Gresham and Elliott was used as a data gathering tool. The data were analyzed by SPSS 16. FINDINGS An analysis of variance (ANOVA) test showed a significant difference between the scores of the experimental and control groups, which suggests that the CPRT model, a short-term plan of parental play therapy, can improve social skills in preschool children (p = 0/001). CONCLUSION Regarding the effectiveness of the CPRT, it is recommended that this method be used is an interactive-educational way in preschool centers of Iran.

Abstract
Objectives The purpose of this research was to compare the effect of self-care education in disasters with two student-centered and family-centered approaches to self-care in students of the Red Crescent Societies in the city of Lenjan in 2017. Methods One hundred and fifty individuals were selected by random sampling from 270 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The questionnaire was approved by the opinion of supervisors and other experts. The present research is a quasi-experimental study. The covariance analysis was used to determine the difference between the two groups in the experimental and control groups and the effect of educational intervention. All of the above steps were performed using the SPSS 23 statistical program. Results The results indicate that there is a significant difference between the two groups in self-care through the student-centered approach. The mean of the self-care group with a family-centered approach (21.72) was more than the mean of the control group in this variable (16.61). Moreover, the mean of the self-care group's education with family-centered approaches (42.61) was more than the mean of self-care education h in a disaster with a student-centered approach (31.23). Conclusion According to the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between self-care education with two student-centered and family-based approaches to self-care in students, and a family-centered approach has better outcomes.

Abstract
Objective Different studies have reported contradictory results regarding the relationship between iron deficiency anemia (IDA) and febrile seizure (FS). The present study was conducted to determine the effect of IDA on FS in children. Patients and methods This case-control study was conducted among 52 children with FS (the case group) and 18 children with afebrile seizures and 51 children with fever without seizures in the age range of 6 months to 5 years admitted to the pediatric ward of Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ilam from March 2016 to January 2017. Patients were selected using the convenience sampling method. Red blood cell (RBC) count as well as measurement of hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (Hct), ferritin, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) levels were performed in all patients. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS16 software. Results A total of 34.6% in the FS group, 66.7% in the afebrile seizure group and 41.2% in the fever without seizure group suffered from IDA, which was not statistically significant between the three groups. Hb, Hct and RBC levels were higher in the case group and MCV, MCH, MCHC levels in the case group were lower than those in the control group. The odds ratio (OR) for FS compared to the febrile group was 0.756 [95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.34-1.68; p = 0.493] and that for FS compared to seizure was 0.265 (95% CI = 0.085-0.823; p = 0.022). Conclusions This study showed that IDA may have protective effects on the onset of FS, and based on the results, IDA is more common in children with afebrile seizures. Further and more comprehensive studies are recommended.

Abstract
Introduction Tonsillectomy is one of the most common pediatric surgeries in the world and pain control following tonsillectomy is very important. Objective The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of acupressure on the amount of pain following tonsillectomy in children. Method One hundred and forty-four children aged 5-12 years old were assigned into one of three groups: interventions, control and placebo. In the intervention group, acupressure was applied at three acupoints and in the placebo group, sham acupressure was applied. In the control group routine care only was applied. Results There was a significant difference between an average of changes in pain score before and after the intervention during the 3 time periods after the tonsillectomy operation in the acupressure group (p = 0.002). Conclusion The results showed that acupressure had a positive effect on pain reduction after tonsillectomy in children in the intervention group.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Tonsillectomy is one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures among children around the world and management of post tonsillectomy complications are very important. OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of acupuncture on the amount of pain, nausea and vomiting after tonsillectomy in children. METHODS In this study, two researchers searched individually for qualified articles on the effects of acupuncture on post-tonsillectomy pain, nausea and vomiting using PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Google scholar and Ovid databases by September 2018. RESULTS After critically appraising the searched studies, 12 studies were selected and entered into a systematic review. Among the studies, various acupuncture methods were used. CONCLUSION This systematic review shows that acupuncture as a complementary method can prevent and reduce the severity of complications surrounding tonsillectomy.

Abstract
Whereas adolescence is one of the most emotional periods in every person life so having social skills and increasing awareness cause persons have beneficial and effective relationships with other people and avoid socially absurd behavior. On the other hand, with the reduction of social behavior student's communicational and the social aspects of growth will be improved: physical, psychological, mental and social. Hence, the aim of this study was to look at the relationship between students' social skills at the second level of high school with their teachers in Aligoudarz Province, Iran. The present study is a descriptive quantitative study of the correlation type. Statistical samples included 200 boy and girl students in the second level of high school in Aligoudarz Province which were selected in a multistage random manner. Data collection included a three-part questionnaire which included demographic information, social skills and a researcher-created questionnaire about parents' disorders which was supplemented by students and analyzed by statistical descriptive and inferential and SPSS 16 software. The findings of this study showed that there relation between students' social skills and relationships with their teachers, hence by increasing students' social skill training it can avoid disorder and help in their health education.
