Abstract
Abstract
Background
There is a controversy about correlation between voltage and thickness in the atrial myocardium and their evolution from paroxysmal to persistent atrial fibrillation (AF).
Purpose
This is an observational study to compare voltage and thickness of different areas on the left atrium in paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation.
Methods
Twenty-one patients underwent atrial fibrillation ablation. Points with electrical information from an electroanatiomical map in sinus rhythym were acquiered during the ablation procedure covering the whole atrial surface. CT was acquired in all patients before the procedure and endo- and epicardium from the atrium was segmented for the atrial thickness calculation. All the points from the electromecanical map were projected on the thickness map to have both information on the same location. 3D atrium was segmented in 5 areas for the analysis: Lateral, Anterior, Septal, Inferior-Posterior and Superior-Posterior (Figure 1). Voltage and thickness values among different areas and between AF type were compared.
Results
11 paroxysmal and 10 persistent AF patients were analyzed acquiring 452±207 points per patient and 1897±750 points per area. There was no linear correlation between voltage and thickness comparing all the patients nor among different areas nor between AF type (R<0.2 in all cases).
Regarding paroxysmal AF patients, septum showed significatly lower voltage compared with the other segments, posterior, lateral, anterior and roof (1.3±1.4, 2±1.8, 2±1.6, 1.7±1.5, 2±1.6, P<0.001). Posterior segment showed the highest voltage. The thickness analysis showed the septum segment as thinner segment and lateral as thicker segment (1.3±1.5,1.7±0.8, P<0.001) (Figure 2).
Regarding persisten AF patients: septum showed significatly lower voltage compared with the other segments, posterior, lateral, anterior and roof who shows higher voltage (1±0.8*, 1.5±1.2, 1.9±1.7, 1.5±1.4, 2±1.6) (Figure 2). The thickness analysis showed the anterior segment as thinner segment and lateral as the thickest segment (1.6±0.8, 1.9±0.9 (P<0.001), different like on paroxysmal AF population.
Comparing voltage and thicknes between paroxysmal and persistent AF, all the segments on persistent population showed lower voltage values, with significant differences on septal, posterior and anterior walls (1±0.8 vs 1.3±1.4, 1.5±1.2 vs 2±1.8, 1.5±1.4 vs 1.7±1.5, P<0.001). On the other hand, all segments on persistent population showed statisticaly signignificant thicker myocardium in camparison with paroxysmal population (Figure 2).
Conclusions
According to our findings, there is no linear correlation between voltage and thickness. Persistent AF atria show thicker walls but with lower voltages in comparison with paroxysmal AF atria.

Abstract
Exposure to adverse childhood experiences or early life stress experiences (ELSs) increase the risk of non-adaptive behaviors and psychopathology in adulthood. Environmental enrichment (EE) has been proposed to minimize these effects. The vast number of methodological variations in animal studies underscores the lack of systematicity in the studies and the need for a detailed understanding of how enrichment interacts with other variables. Here we evaluate the effects of environmental enrichment in male and female Wistar rats exposed to adverse early life experiences (prenatal, postnatal, and combined) on emotional (elevated plus maze), social (social interaction chamber), memory (Morris water maze) and flexibility tasks. Our results—collected from PND 51 to 64—confirmed: 1) the positive effect of environmental enrichment (PND 28–49) on anxiety-like behaviors in animals submitted to ELSs. These effects depended on type of experience and type of enrichment: foraging enrichment reduced anxiety-like behaviors in animals with prenatal and postnatal stress but increased them in animals without ELSs. This effect was sex-dependent: females showed lower anxiety compared to males. Our data also indicated that females exposed to prenatal and postnatal stress had lower anxious responses than males in the same conditions; 2) no differences were found for social interactions; 3) concerning memory, there was a significant interaction between the three factors: A significant interaction for males with prenatal stress was observed for foraging enrichment, while physical enrichment was positive for males with postnatal stress; d) regarding cognitive flexibility, a positive effect of EE was found in animals exposed to adverse ELSs: animals with combined stress and exposed to physical enrichment showed a higher index of cognitive flexibility than those not exposed to enrichment. Yet, within animals with no EE, those exposed to combined stress showed lower flexibility than those exposed to both prenatal stress and no stress. On the other hand, animals with prenatal stress and exposed to foraging-type enrichment showed lower cognitive flexibility than those with no EE. The prenatal stress-inducing conditions used here 5) did not induced fetal or maternal problems and 6) did not induced changes in the volume of the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus.

Abstract
BackgroundThe heterogeneity and complexity of the chronic autoimmune diseases systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and systemic sclerosis (SSc) necessitate comprehensive person-centred management, including non-pharmacological approaches. Recommendations for non-pharmacological management are currently lacking.ObjectivesTo perform a systematic literature review to inform the EULAR task force for recommendations/points to consider for the non-pharmacological management of adult patients with SLE and SSc. Among research questions formulated by the task force, we aimed at identifying (i) non-pharmacological interventions that have been evaluated and (ii) their target health domains or organ systems.MethodsWe searched the Medline, Embase, Web of Science Core Collection and CINAHL for articles published between January 2000 and June 2021. From the initial search (n=15,803), 2 researchers independently performed the article selection. Conflicts were discussed until consensus with 2 additional researchers. Subsequent data extraction from the selected articles was performed by 4 researchers, with an overarching guidance by 2 additional researchers. Risk of bias assessment was performed according to Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklists.ResultsA total of 111 articles for SLE and 75 for SSc were selected for analysis.Non-pharmacological interventions identified for SLE included physical exercise (n=34), psychological support (n=21), dietary therapy and nutrition (n=15), patient education and self-management (n=14), photoprotection (n=5), medication adherence interventions (n=5), complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) e.g., Chinese medicine (n=5), multidisciplinary care (n=4), and phototherapy/laser modalities (n=4).Interventions identified for SSc included physical exercise e.g., hand, oral and general exercise (n=21), phototherapy/laser modalities or shockwave therapy (n=15), patient education and self-management (n=10), CAM (n=8), hand-bathing e.g., in paraffin (n=5), manual therapy e.g., osteopathic manipulative treatment (n=5), dietary therapy and nutrition (n=5), oral hygiene (n=2), hyperbaric oxygen or ozone therapy (n=2) and multidisciplinary care (n=2).Target health domains and organ systems identified within SLE included (in descending order) (i) disease activity, (ii) health-related quality of life (HRQoL), (iii) depression/anxiety, (iv) fatigue, (v) organ damage, (vi) inflammatory markers, (vii) psychological stress, (viii) pain, (ix) body composition/anthropometry, and (x) aerobic capacity.Intervention targets in SSc included (i) functional impairment e.g., hand mobility, (ii) skin sclerosis including microstomia, (iii) HRQoL, (iv) pain, (v) circulation e.g., Raynaud’s phenomena and telangiectasias, (vi) skin ulcers, (vii) oral hygiene, (viii) fatigue, (ix) digestion, and (x) depression/anxiety.ConclusionPhysical exercise was a frequently researched non-pharmacological intervention within both SLE and SSc. While psychological support and dietary therapy/nutrition were frequently investigated in SLE, phototherapy modalities were common in SSc. Patient education and self-management was advocated in both SLE and SSc literature. HRQoL was a frequent target domain in both diseases; while disease activity and psychosocial domains emerged as important targets in SLE, functional impairment and skin-related aspects constituted predominant targets in SSc. Efficacy of interventions varied considerably across studies. Abstract
BackgroundPatients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) experience impaired health-related quality of life (HRQoL), pain, fatigue and functional disability. The effect of pharmacotherapy on these aspects has been inconclusive in literature. In light of this, investigation of the impact of lifestyle facets is needed to support complementary non-pharmacological interventions such as weight control strategies and tobacco smoking cessation.ObjectivesTo evaluate associations of obesity and tobacco smoking with SLE patients’ HRQoL, pain, fatigue and functional disability.MethodsPatients from the Linköping University Hospital with an SLE diagnosis according to the 1982 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and/or the 2012 Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC) criteria (n=325) were included in the present cross-sectional analysis of data captured at visits between January 2008 and September 2021. Among consecutive visits, the first visit with complete demographic, clinical and patient-reported data was selected for the present analysis.Body mass index (BMI) categories were based on the World Health Organization classification: underweight (BMI <18.5 kg/m2), normal weight (18.5≤ BMI <25 kg/m2), pre-obesity (25≤ BMI <30 kg/m2) and obesity (BMI ≥30 kg/m2). Smoking status was self-reported and categorised into never, prior and current smoking.HRQoL was self-reported using the 3-level EuroQoL 5-Dimension (EQ-5D-3L) index scores. Visual analogue scales (VAS; 0–100) were used to self-report fatigue, pain and well-being within the preceding 7 days. Functional disability was evaluated using the Swedish version of the Health Assessment Questionnaires Disability Index (HAQ-DI). Disease activity was evaluated using the clinical (c)SLEDAI-2K (serology excluded).Comparisons of continuous data between different BMI and smoking categories were performed using the Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test. Multivariable linear regression analysis was employed to assess independence and priority of contributors to HRQoL and functional impairment.ResultsCompared with normal weight, obese individuals reported lower EQ-5D-3L index score [0.73 (0.36–0.80) versus 0.78 (0.68–0.85); P=0.014], as well as higher VAS fatigue [50.0 (27.0–72.5) versus 32.0 (6.5–59.5); P=0.008], VAS pain [40.0 (11.0–67.0) versus 20.5 (5.3–46.5); P=0.011] and HAQ scores [0.63 (0.13–1.13) versus 0.13 (0.0–0.63); P<0.001]. Similarly, ongoing smokers reported higher VAS fatigue [56.0 (28.0–78.0) versus 32.0 (8.0–58.0); P=0.001], VAS pain [45.0 (18.0–62.0) versus 18.0 (5.0–39.8); P=0.001] and HAQ scores [0.63 (0.13–1.13) versus 0.13 (0.0–0.63); P=0.001] compared with individuals who were never exposed to regular tobacco smoking. There were no differences across groups regarding cSLEDAI-2K scores.In multivariable linear regression models, obesity and current tobacco smoking were independently associated with lower EQ-5D-3L index scores (β=-0.12; P=0.021 and β=-0.11; P=0.029, respectively), and higher VAS fatigue (β=12.8; P=0.007 and β=17.5; P<0.001), VAS pain (β=12.1; P=0.004 and β=15.5; P<0.001), VAS well-being (β=9.6; P=0.028 and β=9.8; P=0.035) and HAQ scores (β=0.30; P=0.001 and β=0.27; P=0.007), but not with cSLEDAI-2K (β=-0.73; P=0.189 and β=0.34; P=0.572).ConclusionIn a Swedish SLE population, obesity and ongoing tobacco smoking were independently associated with worse outcomes - compared with normal weight and individuals who never smoked, respectively - regarding HRQoL, fatigue, pain and functional disability but were not associated with clinical disease activity.Disclosure of InterestsNone declared

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To assess stability and degradation over time, of methadone alone, and mixed with lidocaine and ketamine, using various diluents and storage conditions. MATERIALS AND METHODS Solutions of methadone diluted in 0.9% NaCl, and methadone-lidocaine-ketamine diluted in 0.9% NaCl or Hartmann's solution, and stored at room temperature with exposure to light, or refrigerated at 4°C and protected from light, were maintained over 10 days. Chemical stability was determined using liquid chromatography immediately after preparation and following 4, 24, 48, 96 and 240 hours of storage. Physical stability of the solutions was evaluated by visual examination and absorbance of ultraviolet/visible light. A linear model assessed the impact of different diluent solutions and storage conditions on drug degradation over time. RESULTS There was no evidence of physicochemical incompatibility for any solution. Methadone concentration, when diluted alone or in methadone-lidocaine-ketamine with Hartmann's solution at 4°C, did not decline over time. Ketamine and lidocaine decreased to a similar extent over time, regardless of the diluent used or storage method, while methadone in methadone-lidocaine-ketamine diluted with 0.9% NaCl or with Hartmann's solution at room temperature exposed to light, also declined over time; however, all three methadone-lidocaine-ketamine components retained acceptable stability (<10% degradation) for at least 48 hours following preparation, irrespective of diluent or storage conditions. CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE Regardless of the diluent or storage method, methadone-lidocaine-ketamine solutions degrade over time, but this only becomes clinically significant after 48 hours. Solutions of 1 mg/ml methadone in 0.9% NaCl are stable for at least 10 days under storage conditions likely to be encountered in general practice.

Abstract
Dust polarization observations are a powerful, practical tool to probe the geometry (and to some extent, the strength) of magnetic fields in starforming regions. In particular, Planck polarization data have revealed the importance of magnetic fields on large scales in molecular clouds. However, due to insufficient resolution, Planck observations are unable to constrain the B-field geometry on prestellar and protostellar scales. The high angular resolution of 11.7 arcsec provided by NIKA2-Pol 1.15 mm polarimetric imaging, corresponding to 0.02 pc at the distance of the Orion molecular cloud (OMC), makes it possible to advance our understanding of the B-field morphology in star-forming filaments and dense cores (IRAM 30m large program B-FUN). The commissioning of the NIKA2-Pol instrument has led to several challenging issues, in particular, the instrumental polarization or intensity-to-polarization “leakage” effect. In the present paper, we illustrate how this effect can be corrected for, leading to reliable exploitable data in a structured, extended source such as OMC-1. We present a statistical comparison between NIKA2-Pol and SCUBA2-Pol2 results in the OMC-1 region. We also present tentative evidence of local pinching of the B-field lines near Orion-KL, in the form of a new small-scale hourglass pattern, in addition to the larger-scale hourglass already seen by other instruments such as Pol2.

Abstract
We describe the preliminary on-sky results of the KIDs Interferometer Spectrum Survey (KISS), a spectral imager with a 1 deg field of view (FoV). The instrument operates in the range 120–180 GHz from the 2.25m Q-U-I JOint TEnerife telescope in Teide Observatory (Tenerife, Canary Islands), at 2 395m altitude above sea level. Spectra at low resolution, up to 1.45 GHz, are obtained using a fast (3.72 Hz mechanical frequency) Fourier transform spectrometer, coupled to a continuous dilution cryostat with a stabilized temperature of 170mK that hosts two 316-pixel arrays of lumped-element kinetic inductance detectors. KISS generates more than 3 000 spectra per second during observations and represents a pathfinder to demonstrate the potential for spectral mapping with large FoV.We give an overall description of the spectral mapping paradigm and we present recent results from observations, in this paper.

Abstract
We present a multi-probe analysis of the well-known galaxy cluster CL J1226.9+3332 as a proof of concept for multi-wavelength studies within the framework of the NIKA2 Sunyaev-Zel’dovich Large Program (LPSZ). CL J1226.9+3332 is a massive and high redshift (z = 0.888) cluster that has already been observed at several wavelengths. A joint analysis of the thermal SZ (tSZ) effect at millimeter wavelength with the NIKA2 camera and in X-ray with the XMM-Newton satellite permits the reconstruction of the cluster’s thermodynamical properties and mass assuming hydrostatic equilibrium. We test the robustness of our mass estimates against different definitions of the data analysis transfer function. Using convergence maps reconstructed from the data of the CLASH program we obtain estimates of the lensing mass, which we compare to the estimated hydrostatic mass. This allows us to measure the hydrostatic-to-lensing mass bias and the associated systematic effects related to the NIKA2 measurement. We obtain M500HSE = (7:65 ± 1:03) × 1014M⊙ and M500lens = (7:35 ± 0:65) × 1014M⊙, which implies a HSE-to-lensing bias consistent with 0 within 20%.

Abstract
New observations of the edge-on galaxy NGC 891, at 1.15 and 2mm obtained with the IRAM 30-m telescope and the NIKA2 camera, within the framework of the IMEGIN (Interpreting the Millimetre Emission of Galaxies with IRAM and NIKA2) Large Program, are presented in this work. By using multiwavelength maps (from the mid-IR to the cm wavelengths) we perform SED fitting in order to extract the physical properties of the galaxy on both global and local (~kpc) scales. For the interpretation of the observations we make use of a state-of-the-art SED fitting code, HerBIE (HiERarchical Bayesian Inference for dust Emission). The observations indicate a galaxy morphology, at mm wavelengths, similar to that of the cold dust emission traced by submm observations and to that of the molecular gas. The contribution of the radio emission at the NIKA2 bands is very small (negligible at 1.15 mm and ~ 10% at 2 mm) while it dominates the total energy budget at longer wavelengths (beyond 5 mm). On local scales, the distribution of the free-free emission resembles that of the dust thermal emission while the distribution of the synchrotron emission shows a deficiency along the major axis of the disc of the galaxy.

Abstract
The NIKA2 Guaranteed-Time SZ Large Program (LPSZ) is dedicated to the high-angular resolution SZ mapping of a representative sample of 45 SZ-selected galaxy clusters drawn from the catalogues of the Planck satellite, or of the Atacama Cosmology Telescope. The LPSZ sample spans a mass range from 3 to 11 × 1014M⊙ and a redshift range from 0:5 to 0:9, extending to higher redshift and lower mass the previous samples dedicated to the cluster mass calibration and universal properties estimation. The main goals of the LPSZ are the measurement of the average radial profile of the ICM pressure up to R500 by combining NIKA2 with Planck or ACT data, and the estimation of the scaling law between the SZ observable and the mass using NIKA2, XMM-Newton and Planck/ACT data. Furthermore, combining LPSZ data with existing or forthcoming public data in lensing, optical/NIR or radio domains, we will build a consistent picture of the cluster physics and further gain knowledge on the mass estimate as a function of the cluster morphology and dynamical state.
We give an overview of the LPSZ, present recent results and discuss the future implication for cosmology with galaxy clusters.

Abstract
As the possible progenitors of passive galaxies at z=2-3, dusty starforming galaxies (DSFGs) at z>4 provide a unique perspective to study the formation, assembly, and early quenching of massive galaxies in the early Universe. The extreme obscuration in optical-IR makes (sub)mm spectral scans the most universal and unbiased way to confirm/exclude the high-z nature of candidate dusty star-forming galaxies. We present here the status of the NIKA2 Cosmological Legacy Survey (N2CLS), which is the deepest wide-area singledish survey in the millimeter searching for high-z DSFGs. We also introduce a joint-analysis method to effciently search for the spectroscopic redshift of high-z DSFGs with noisy spectra and photometric data and present its success in identifying the redshift of DSFGs found in NIKA2 science verification data.

Abstract
In the past decade filaments have been recognised as a major structural element of the interstellar medium, the densest of these filaments hosting the formation of most stars. In some star-forming molecular clouds converging networks of filaments, also known as hub filament systems, can be found. These hubs are believed to be preferentially associated to massive star formation. As of today, there are no metrics that allow the systematic quantification of a filament network convergence. Here, we used the IRAM 30m NIKA2 observations of the Galactic plane from the GASTON large programme to systematically identify filaments and produce a filament convergence parameter map. We use such a map to show that: i. hub filaments represent a small fraction of the global filament population; ii. hubs host, in proportion, more massive and more luminous compact sources that non-hubs; iii. hub-hosting clumps are more evolved that non-hubs; iv. no discontinuities are observed in the properties of compact sources as a function of convergence parameter. We propose that the rapid global collapse of clumps is responsible for (re)organising filament networks into hubs and, in parallel, enhancing the mass growth of compact sources.

Abstract
PSZ2 G091.83+26.11 is a massive galaxy cluster with M500 = 7:43 × 1014M⊙ at z = 0:822. This object exhibits a complex morphology with a clear bimodality observed in X-rays. However, it was detected and analysed in the Planck sample as a single, spherical cluster following a universal profile [1]. This model can lead to miscalculations of thermodynamical quantities, like the pressure profile. As future multiwavelength cluster experiments will detect more and more objects at higher redshifts (where we expect the fraction of merging objects to be higher), it is crucial to quantify this systematic effect. In this work, we use high-resolution observations of PSZ2 G091.83+26.11 by the NIKA2 camera to integrate the morphological characteristics of the cluster in our modelling. This is achieved by fitting a two-halo model to the SZ image and then by reconstruction of the resulting projected pressure profile. We then compare these results with the spherical assumption.

Abstract
High-mass stars (m* ≳ 8 M⊙) play a crucial role in the evolution of galaxies, and so it is imperative that we understand how they are formed. We have used the New IRAM KIDs Array 2 (NIKA2) camera on the Institut de Radio Astronomie Millimétrique (IRAM) 30-m telescope to conduct high-sensitivity continuum mapping of ~ 2 deg2 of the Galactic plane (GP) as part of the Galactic Star Formation with NIKA2 (GASTON) large program. We have identified a total of 1467 clumps within our deep 1.15 mm continuum maps and, by using overlapping continuum, molecular line, and maser parallax data, we have determined their distances and physical properties. By placing them upon an approximate evolutionary sequence based upon 8 μm Spitzer imaging, we find evidence that the most massive dense clumps accrete material from their surrounding environment during their early evolution, before dispersing as star formation advances, supporting clump-fed models of high-mass star formation.

Abstract
Using the NIKA2 dual band millimeter camera installed on the IRAM30m telescope, we have mapped a relatively large field (~ 70 arcmin2) in the direction of the star GJ526 to investigate the nature of the sources found with the MAMBO camera at 1.2 mm ten years earlier. We have found that they must be dust-obscured galaxies (SMGs) in the background beyond the star. The new NIKA2 map at 1.15 mm reveals additional sources and, in fact, an overdensity of SMGs predominantly distributed along a filament-like structure in projection on the sky across the whole observed field. We speculate this might be a cosmic filament at high redshift as revealed in cosmological hydrodynamical simulations. Measurement of spectroscopic redshifts of the SMGs in the candidate filament is required now for a definitive confirmation of the nature of the structure.

Abstract
The quest for primordial gravitational waves enclosed in the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) polarization B-modes signal motivates the development of a new generation of high sensitive experiments (e.g. CMBS4, LiteBIRD), thus allowing to probe the inflationary epoch in the early Universe. However, this will be only possible by ensuring a high control of the instrumental systematic effects and an accurate absolute calibration of the polarization angle.
The Crab nebula is known to be a polarization calibrator on the sky for CMB experiments. Already used for the Planck satellite it exhibits a high polarized signal at microwave wavelengths. In this work we present Crab polarization observations obtained, in the 260 GHz frequency band, with the NIKA2 instrument. Furthermore, we discuss the accuracy needed on such a measurement to improve the constraints on the absolute angle calibration for CMB experiments.

Abstract
Starting from the clusters included in the NIKA sample and in the NIKA2 Sunyaev-Zel’dovich Large Program (LPSZ) we have selected a sample of six common objects with the Cluster Lensing And Supernova survey with Hubble (CLASH) lensing data. For the LPSZ clusters we have at our disposal both high-angular resolution observations of the thermal SZ with NIKA and NIKA2 and X-ray observations with XMM-Newton from which hydrostatic mass estimates can be derived. In addition, the CLASH dataset includes lensing convergence maps that can be converted into lensing estimates of the total mass of the cluster. One-dimensional mass profiles are used to derive integrated mass estimates accounting for systematic effects (data processing, modeling, etc.). Two-dimensional analysis of the maps can reveal substructures in the cluster and, therefore, inform us about the dynamical state of each system. Moreover, we are able to study the hydrostatic mass to lensing mass bias, across different morphology and a range of redshift clusters to give more insight on the hydrostatic mass bias. The analysis presented in this proceeding follows the study discussed in [20].

Abstract
We present preliminary results from an on-going program that aims at mapping the intracluster medium (ICM) temperature of high redshift galaxy clusters from the MaDCoWS sample using a joint analysis of shallow X-ray data obtained by Chandra and high angular resolution Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (SZ) observations realized with the NIKA2 and MUSTANG-2 cameras. We also present preliminary results from an on-going Open Time program within the NIKA2 collaboration that aims at mapping the ICM temperature of a galaxy cluster at z = 0.45 from the resolved detection of the relativistic corrections to the SZ spectrum. These studies demonstrate how high angular resolution SZ observations will play a major role in the coming decade to push the investigation of ICM dynamics and non-gravitational processes to high redshift before the next generation X-ray observatories come into play.

Abstract
Interstellar dust plays an important role in the formation of molecular gas and the heating and cooling of the interstellar medium. The spatial distribution of the mm-wavelength dust emission from galaxies is largely unexplored. The NIKA2 Guaranteed Time Project IMEGIN (Interpreting the Millimeter Emission of Galaxies with IRAM and NIKA2) has recently mapped the mm emission in the grand design spiral galaxy NGC6946. By subtracting the contributions from the free-free, synchrotron, and CO line emission, we map the distribution of the pure dust emission at 1:15mm and 2mm. Separating the arm/interarm regions, we find a dominant 2mm emission from interarms indicating the significant role of the general interstellar radiation field in heating the cold dust. Finally, we present maps of the dust mass, temperature, and emissivity index using the Bayesian MCMC modeling of the spectral energy distribution in NGC6946.

Abstract
The impact of age and biological sex on outcome in moderate/severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) has been documented in large cohort studies, with advanced age and male sex linked to worse long-term outcomes. However, the association between age/biological sex and high-frequency continuous multi-modal monitoring (MMM) cerebral physiology is unclear, with only sparing reference made in guidelines and major literature in moderate/severe TBI. In this narrative review, we summarize some of the largest studies associating various high-frequency MMM parameters with age and biological sex in moderate/severe TBI. To start, we present this by highlighting the representative available literature on high-frequency data from Intracranial Pressure (ICP), Cerebral Perfusion Pressure (CPP), Extracellular Brain Tissue Oxygenation (PbtO2), Regional Cerebral Oxygen Saturations (rSO2), Cerebral Blood Flow (CBF), Cerebral Blood Flow Velocity (CBFV), Cerebrovascular Reactivity (CVR), Cerebral Compensatory Reserve, common Cerebral Microdialysis (CMD) Analytes and their correlation to age and sex in moderate/severe TBI cohorts. Then we present current knowledge gaps in the literature, discuss biological implications of age and sex on cerebrovascular monitoring in TBI and some future avenues for bedside research into the cerebrovascular physiome after TBI.

Abstract
Introduction The Coronavirus pandemic has originated unprecedented sanitary control measures that have conditioned people’s lifestyles and habits. Little is known about the impact of such measures, especially the most restrictive, on recent and growing phenomena such as exercise addiction, use of enhancement drugs, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). Objectives The objective was to investigate the above-mentioned phenomena during COVID-19 pandemic and how they relate. Methods The sample consisted of 3161 participants (65% women), from Portugal (11%), Italy (41%), Spain (16%), the UK (12%), Lithuania (12%), Japan (6%), and Hungary (4%). Mean age was 35.05 (SD = 12.10). Participants responded online to the Exercise Addiction Inventory (EAI), the Appearance Anxiety Inventory (AAI), and questions about use of enhancement drugs. Results 4.3% of the participants scored above the cut-off point of the EAI, with higher values registered in the UK and Spain. Exercise addiction was higher among men. Appearance anxiety and body satisfaction problems were found in participants of all participating countries, with 15.2% scoring over the cut-off point for BDD. Higher numbers of those at risk of BDD were found in Italy, Japan, and Portugal. About 29% reported the use of fitness supplements to make them look better, with 6.4% starting a new use during the lockdown. Change in supplements use and exercise are predicted by EAI scores. Change in mental health is predicted by AAI scores. Conclusions This study helps to shed light on how COVID-19 lookdown induced behavioral changes and how they affect physical and mental health-related aspects in different countries.

Introduction
The United Kingdom and Spain run government-funded social and health care services, free for the user at the point of delivery. Acute Geriatric Units (AGU) carrying out Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments improve the clinical outcomes of older patients. Little is known about the similarities and differences between countries, and how these may impact on clinical outcomes.
Methods
Prospective observational study of consecutive patients admitted to AGU of 2 hospitals in the UK and 4 hospitals in Spain between the 1st to the 30th of October 2019 and from the 1st to the 29th of February 2020. We followed up the patients for a 90 day period.
Conclusions
Frailty, multimorbidity and polypharmacy were prevalent in both cohorts. English patients were younger, with shorter hospital stay, mortality and use of antipsychotic medication but higher readmission rates. Involvement from Allied health care professionals was higher in UK hospitals.

Abstract
Background:Despite improvements in medical care that have contributed to prolonged life expectancy for people living with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) over the past decades, they still suffer from substantial diminutions of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) compared with the general population and with other chronic diseases.Some studies have demonstrated that conventional synthetic and biological disease-modifying agents contribute to improvements in SLE patients’ HRQoL, and responders to treatment have been shown to report greater improvements than non-responders. Although these observations are clinically relevant, improvement following a therapeutic intervention does not necessarily signify that the individual has achieved a satisfactory health state perception. In rheumatoid arthritis, significant pain and severe fatigue persist in a substantial proportion of patients who achieve a good clinical response to treatment or remission. This paradoxical observation has not been thoroughly explored in SLE.Objectives:To determine the prevalence of adverse HRQoL outcomes in patients with SLE who achieved an adequate clinical response after a 52-week long period on standard therapy plus belimumab or placebo, within the frame of two phase III clinical trials. We further aimed to compare frequencies of adverse HRQoL outcomes across different age categories and ethnic groups, and sought to identify contributing factors.Methods:We included patients who met the primary endpoint of the BLISS-52 (NCT00424476) and BLISS-76 (NCT00410384) trials (N=760/1684), i.e. attainment of the SLE Responder Index 4 at week 52. Accordingly, evaluation of adverse HRQoL outcomes was based on patient reports at week 52 from treatment initiation, using the Medical Outcomes Study Short Form 36 (SF-36) health survey and the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy Fatigue (FACIT-Fatigue) scale. Adverse HRQoL outcomes were defined as (i) SF-36 scale scores ≤ the 5th percentile derived from age- and sex-matched US population-based norms from the SF-36 health survey user manual; and (ii) FACIT-Fatigue scores <30.Pearson’s chi-square or Fisher’s exact tests were used to investigate associations between dichotomous variables. Comparisons of continuous data between SLE patients and age- and sex-matched norms were performed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Multivariable logistic regression models were created in order to assess independence and priority of potential factors associated with adverse HRQoL outcomes.Results:We found clinically important diminutions of HRQoL in SLE patients compared with matched norms and high frequencies of adverse HRQoL outcomes, the highest in SF-36 general health (29.1%), followed by FACIT-Fatigue (25.8%) and SF-36 physical functioning (25.4%). Overall, frequencies were higher with increasing age. Black/African American and White/Caucasian patients reported higher frequencies than Asians and Indigenous Americans, while Hispanics experienced adverse HRQoL less frequently than non-Hispanics. Increasing organ damage was associated with adverse physical but not mental HRQoL outcomes; disease activity showed no impact. In multivariable logistic regression analysis, addition of belimumab to standard therapy was associated with lower frequencies of adverse SF-36 physical functioning (OR: 0.59; 95% CI: 0.39–0.91; P=0.016) and FACIT-F (OR: 0.53; 95% CI: 0.34–0.81; P=0.004).Conclusion:Substantial proportions of SLE patients reported adverse HRQoL outcomes despite adequate clinical response to treatment, especially in physical aspects. Particularly high proportions were seen within Black/African American and White/Caucasian patients. Add-on belimumab may be protective against adverse physical functioning and severe fatigue. Background/Introduction: Virtual Reality (VR) for surgical and interventional planning in the treatment of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is an emerging field that has the potential to improve planning. Particularly in very complex cases, VR permits enhanced visualisation and more intuitive interaction of volumetric images, compared to traditional flat-screen visualisation tools. Blood flow is severely affected by CHD and, thus, visualisation of blood flow allows direct observation of the cardiac maladaptions for surgical planning. However, blood flow is fundamentally 3D information, and viewing and interacting with it using conventional 2D displays is suboptimal.
Purpose
To demonstrate feasibility of blood flow visualisation in VR using pressure and velocity obtained from a computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulation of the right ventricle in a patient with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) as a proof of concept.
Methods
We extend an existing VR volume rendering application to include CFD rendering functionality using the Visualization Toolkit (VTK), an established visualisation library widely used in clinical software for visualising medical imaging data. Our prototype displays the mesh outline of the segmented heart, a slicing plane showing blood pressure on the plane within the heart, and streamlines of blood flow from a spherical source region. Existing user tools were extended to enable interactive positioning, rotation and scaling of the pressure plane and streamline origin, ensuring continuity between volume rendering and CFD interaction and, thus, ease of use. We evaluated if rendering and interaction times were low enough to ensure a comfortable, interactive VR experience. Our performance benchmark is a previous study showing VR is acceptable to clinical users when rendering speed is at least 90 fps.
Results
CFD simulations were successfully rendered, viewed and manipulated in VR, as shown in the Figure. Evaluating performance, we found that visualisation of the mesh and streamlines was at an acceptably high and stable frame rate, over 150fps. User interactions of moving, rotating or scaling the mesh or streamlines origin did not significantly reduce this frame rate. However, rendering the pressure slicing plane reduced frame rate by an unacceptable degree, to less than 10fps.
Conclusion
Visualisation of and interaction with CFD simulation data was successfully integrated into an existing VR application. This aids in surgery and intervention planning for defects heavily relying on blood flow simulation, and lays a foundation for a platform for clinicians to test interventions in VR. Pressure plane rendering performance will require significant optimisation, potentially addressed by updating the pressure plane data separately from the main, VR rendering.

Background/Introduction:
In echocardiography (echo), image orientation is determined by the position and direction of the transducer during examination, unlike cardiovascular imaging modalities such as CT or MRI. As a result, when echo images are first shown their display orientation has no external anatomical landmarks, thus the user has to identify anatomical landmarks in the regions of interest to understand the orientation.
Purpose
To display an anatomical model of a standard heart, automatically aligned to an acquired patient’s 3D echo image - assisting image interpretation by quickly orienting the viewer.
Methods
47 echo datasets from 13 pediatric patients with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) were annotated by manually indicating the cardiac axes in both ES and ED volumes. We chose a view akin to the standard four chamber view in healthy hearts as the reference view, showing the AV valves, the right atrium, the left atrium and the hypoplastic ventricle. We then trained a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) to predict the rotation required for re-orientation to the reference view. Three data strategies were explored: 1) using 3D images to estimate orientation, 2) using three orthogonal slices only (2.5D approach) and 3) using the central slice only (2D approach). Three different algorithms were investigated: 1) an orientation classifier, 2) an orientation regressor with mean absolute angle error, and 3) an orientation regressor with geodesic loss. The data was split into training, validation and test sets with a 8:1:1 ratio. The training data was augmented by applying random rotations in the range [−10◦, +10◦] and updating labels accordingly. The model with smallest validation error was applied in tandem with the VR visualisation of the echo volumes.
Results
Experimental results suggest that a 2.5D CNN classifying discrete integer angles performs best in re-orienting volumetric images to the reference view, with a mean absolute angle error on the test set of 9.0 deg (test set error ranges from 10.8 to 25.9 deg. for other algorithms). An HLHS volumetric data (left) is automatically aligned with the cardiac model (right) using our trained network when loaded in VR as shown in Figure 1. The volume and the model are both cropped at the referencing plane.
Conclusion
A deep learning network to align 3D echo images to a reference view was successfully trained and then integrated into VR to reorient echo volumes to match a standard anatomical view. This work demonstrates the potential of combining artificial intelligence and VR in medical imaging, although further user study is expected to evaluate its clinical impact.

Abstract
A critical path to solving the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, without further socioeconomic impact, is to stop its spread. For this to happen, pre- or asymptomatic individuals infected with the virus need to be detected and isolated opportunely. Unfortunately, there are no current ubiquitous (i.e., ultra-sensitive, cheap, and widely available) rapid testing tools capable of early detection of SARS-CoV-2 infections. In this article, we introduce an accurate, portable, and low-cost medical device and bio-nanosensing electrode dubbed SenSARS and its experimental validation. SenSARS' device measures the electrochemical impedance spectra of a disposable bio-modified screen-printed carbon-based working electrode (SPCE) to the changes in the concentration of SARS-CoV-2 antigen molecules ("S" spike proteins) contained within a sub-microliter fluid sample deposited on its surface. SenSARS offers real-time diagnostics and viral load tracking capabilities. Positive and negative control tests were performed in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) at different concentrations (between 1 and 50 fg/mL) of SARS-CoV-2(S), Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) glycoprotein gp350, and Influenza H1N1 M1 recombinant viral proteins. We demonstrate that SenSARS is easy to use, with a portable and lightweight (< 200 g) instrument and disposable test electrodes (<U.S. [Formula: see text]5), capable of fast diagnosis (~10 min), with high analytical sensitivity (low limits of detection, LOD = 1.065 fg/mL, and quantitation, LOQ = 3.6 fg/mL) and selectivity to SARS-CoV-2(S) antigens, even in the presence of structural proteins from the other pathogens tested. SenSARS provides a potential path to pervasive rapid diagnostics of SARS-CoV-2 in clinical, point-of-care, and home-care settings, and to breaking the transmission chain of this virus. Medical device compliance testing of SenSARS to EIC-60601 technical standards is underway.

Abstract
AbstractLittle–Parks effect names the oscillations in the superconducting critical temperature as a function of the magnetic field. This effect is related to the geometry of the sample. In this work, we show that this effect can be enhanced and manipulated by the inclusion of magnetic nanostructures with perpendicular magnetization. These magnetic nanodots generate stray fields with enough strength to produce superconducting vortex–antivortex pairs. So that, the L–P effect deviation from the usual geometrical constrictions is due to the interplay between local magnetic stray fields and superconducting vortices. Moreover, we compare our results with a low-stray field sample (i.e. with the dots in magnetic vortex state) showing how the enhancement of the L–P effect can be explained by an increment of the effective size of the nanodots.

Abstract
Background:Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) experience a considerably impaired health-related quality of life (HRQoL) compared with the general population. Previous literature has implied an association between high body mass index (BMI) and HRQoL diminutions. However, data are scarce and further exploration in large study populations and, importantly, with regard to the clinical significance of this association is needed.Objectives:The aim of this study was to determine whether overweight and/or obesity were associated with impaired physical and/or mental HRQoL aspects in the SLE population of two large clinical trials.Methods:We utilised pooled baseline data from the BLISS-52 (NCT00424476) and BLISS-76 (NCT00410384) clinical trials of belimumab (N=1684). Access to data was granted by GlaxoSmithKline. The patients were stratified into four groups based on their body mass index (BMI), according to WHO guidelines. We conducted comparisons between non-overweight versus overweight, and non-obese versus obese SLE patients. HRQoL was self-reported using the Medical Outcomes Study (MOS) short form 36 (SF-36) health survey, the functional assessment of chronic illness therapy (FACIT)-Fatigue scale and the three-level EuroQol- 5 Dimension (EQ-5D) questionnaire. We explored whether the differences in scores were clinically meaningful using previously determined thresholds for minimal clinically important differences (MCIDs). The non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test was used for comparisons between different BMI groups. Linear regression analysis was next applied to test independence in multivariable models, adjusting for age, sex, ethnicity, disease duration, disease activity, organ damage and standard of care treatment.Results:Forty-four per cent (44%) of the patients had a BMI score over the normal range, and 18% were obese. The overweight group performed worse than the non-overweight with regard to FACIT-Fatigue scores (mean ± standard deviation: 27.7 ± 12.1 vs 32.0 ± 11.3; P<0.001), EQ-5D score (0.70 ± 0.19 vs 0.76 ± 0.18; P<0.001) and all SF-36 subscales and component summaries. The differences were greater than the MCIDs for physical component summary (PCS) scores (36.9 ± 9.3 vs 40.8 ± 9.6; P<0.001), physical functioning (53.3 ± 25.1 vs 63.6 ± 25-1; P<0.001), role physical (48.0 ± 27.1 vs 55.6 ± 26.9; P<0.001), bodily pain (43.8 ± 22.4 vs 52.5 ± 25.1; P<0.001), vitality (39.6 ± 21.7 vs 46.6 ± 21.3; P<0.001), and social functioning scores (55.8 ± 25.2 vs 62.6 ± 25.2; P<0.001). Likewise, obese patients reported worse FACIT-Fatigue scores (25.7 ± 11.9 vs 31.1 ± 11.6; P<0.001), EQ-5D scores (0.68 ± 0.20 vs 0.75 ± 0.18; P<0.001) and clinically important diminutions of HRQoL in all SF-36 items, except for the mental component summary (MCS), role emotional and mental health.In multivariable linear regression analysis, the overweight and obese group showed worse PCS scores (standardised coefficient: β=-0.09; P<0.001 and β=-0.13; P<0.001, respectively) and FACIT-Fatigue scores (β=-0.11; P<0.001 and β=-0.10; P<0.001, respectively), and overweight patients had significantly impaired MCS scores (β=-0.05; P=0.039), irrespective of other factors. High disease activity and organ damage were associated with impaired HRQoL in all aspects, while Asian patients reported better PCS scores (and β=0.29; P=0.007) and FACIT-Fatigue scores (β=0.33; P=0.002).Conclusion:BMI above normal was highly associated with HRQoL impairment, especially in physical aspects. Abstract
Background:In patients with lupus nephritis (LN), clinical response to treatment and renal histopathology have been shown to be discordant. No clinical or laboratory markers have to date been shown to reliably portend renal prognosis, in particular renal function impairment.Objectives:To investigate whether per-protocol repeat renal biopsies are predictive of LN relapses and long-term impairment of renal function.Methods:Forty-two patients with an incident biopsy-proven active proliferative (class III/IV ± V) LN from the LN database of the Université catholique de Louvain were included in the present retrospective study. Per-protocol repeat kidney biopsies were performed in all patients after a median time of 24.3 (IQR: 21.3–26.2) months. The NIH activity index (AI) and chronicity index (CI) scores were assessed in both baseline and repeat biopsies. We defined acute glomerular lesions as cellular proliferation, fibrinoid necrosis or karyorrhexis, cellular crescents, hyaline thrombi or wire loops, and leucocyte infiltration, and chronic glomerular lesions as glomerular sclerosis and fibrous crescents, in alignment with the NIH activity and chronicity indices. Similarly, we defined acute tubulointerstitial lesions as mononuclear cell infiltration and chronic tubulointerstitial lesions as interstitial fibrosis and tubular atrophy.Results:Despite a moderate correlation between urinary protein/creatinine (U-P/C) ratios and AI scores at repeat biopsy (r=0.48; P=0.001), ten patients (23.8%) with U-P/C ratios <1.0 g/g still had a high degree of histological activity (AI score >3). High AI scores in repeat (but not baseline) kidney biopsies were associated with an increased probability and/or shorter time to renal relapse (N=11) following the repeat biopsy (HR: 1.2; 95% CI: 1.1–1.3; P=0.007), independently of proteinuria levels. This association remained significant for the NIH activity index items within the glomerular but not the tubulointerstitial compartment of the kidney biopsies. High NIH CI scores in repeat (but not baseline) kidney biopsies were associated with a sustained increase in serum creatinine levels corresponding to ≥120% of the baseline value (HR: 1.8; 95% CI: 1.1–2.9; P=0.016) through a median follow-up time of 131.5 (IQR: 73.8–178.2) months, being the case also for acute and chronic tubulointerstitial lesions in repeat but not baseline kidney biopsies.Conclusion:Our results highlight the usefulness of per-protocol repeat biopsies as an integral part of the treatment evaluation, also in patients who have shown adequate clinical response. Abstract
BACKGROUND SPLIT was founded in 1995 in order to collect comprehensive prospective data on pediatric liver transplantation, including waiting list data, transplant, and early and late outcomes. Since 2011, data collection of the current registry has been refined to focus on prospective data and outcomes only after transplant to serve as a foundation for the future development of targeted clinical studies. OBJECTIVE To report the outcomes of the SPLIT registry from 2011 to 2018. METHODS This is a multicenter, cross-sectional analysis characterizing patients transplanted and enrolled in the SPLIT registry between 2011 and 2018. All patients, <18 years of age, received a first liver-only, a combined liver-kidney, or a combined liver-pancreas transplant during this study period. RESULTS A total of 1911 recipients from 39 participating centers in North America were registered. Indications included biliary atresia (38.5%), metabolic disease (19.1%), tumors (11.7%), and fulminant liver failure (11.5%). Greater than 50% of recipients were transplanted as either Status 1A/1B or with a MELD/PELD exception score. Incompatible transplants were performed in 4.1%. Kaplan-Meier estimates of 1-year patient and graft survival were 97.3% and 96.6%. First 30 days of surgical complications included reoperation (31.7%), hepatic artery thrombosis (6.3%), and portal vein thrombosis (3.2%). In the first 90 days, biliary tract complications were reported in 13.6%. Acute cellular rejection during first year was 34.7%. At 1 and 2 years of follow-up, 39.2% and 50.6% had normal liver tests on monotherapy (tacrolimus or sirolimus). Further surgical, survival, allograft function, and complications are detailed.

Abstract
Understanding where and when the mass of stars is determined is one of the fundamental, mostly unsolved, questions in astronomy. Here, we present the first results of GASTON, the Galactic Star Formation with NIKA2 large programme on the IRAM 30m telescope, that aims to identify new populations of low-brightness sources to tackle the question of stellar mass determination across all masses. In this paper, we focus on the high-mass star formation part of the project, for which we map a ~ 2 deg2 region of the Galactic plane around l = 24° in both 1.2 mm and 2.0 mm continuum. Half-way through the project, we reach a sensitivity of 3.7 mJy/beam at 1.2mm. Even though larger than our target sensitivity of 2 mJy, the current sensitivity already allows the identification of a new population of cold, compact sources that remained undetected in any (sub-)mm Galactic plane survey so far. In fact, about 25% of the ~ 1600 compact sources identified in the 1.2mm GASTON image are new detections. We present a preliminary analysis of the physical properties of the GASTON sources as a function of their evolutionary stage, arguing for a potential evolution of the mass distribution of these sources with time.

Abstract
Clusters of galaxies are used to map the large-scale structures in the universe and as probe of universe evolution. They can be observed through the Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (SZ) effect. In this respect the spectro-imaging at low resolution frequency is an important tool, today, for the study of cluster of galaxies. We have developed KISS (KIDs Interferometer Spectrum Survey), a spectrometric imager dedicated to the secondary anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). The multi-frequency approach permits to improve the component separation with respect to predecessor experiments. In this paper, firstly, we provide a description of the scientific context and the state of the art of SZ observations. Secondly, we describe the KISS instrument. Finally, we show preliminary results of the ongoing commissioning campaign.

Abstract
The main limiting factor of cosmological analyses based on thermal Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (SZ) cluster statistics comes from the bias and systematic uncertainties that affect the estimates of the mass of galaxy clusters. High-angular resolution SZ observations at high redshift are needed to study a potential redshift or morphology dependence of both the mean pressure profile and of the mass-observable scaling relation used in SZ cosmological analyses. The NIKA2 camera is a new generation continuum instrument installed at the IRAM 30-m telescope. With a large field of view, a high angular resolution and a high-sensitivity, the NIKA2 camera has unique SZ mapping capabilities. In this paper, we present the NIKA2 SZ large program, aiming at observing a large sample of clusters at redshifts between 0.5 and 0.9, and the characterization of the first cluster oberved with NIKA2.

Abstract
We present the results of the analysis of the very massive cluster MOO J1142+1527 at a redshift z = 1.2 based on high angular resolution NIKA2 Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (SZ) andChandraX-ray data. This multi-wavelength analysis enables us to estimate the shape of the temperature profile with unprecedented precision at this redshift and to obtain a map of the gas entropy distribution averaged along the line of sight. The comparison between the cluster morphological properties observed in the NIKA2 andChandramaps together with the analysis of the entropy map allows us to conclude that MOOJ1142+1527 is an on-going merger hosting a cool-core at the position of the X-ray peak. This work demonstrates how the addition of spatially-resolved SZ observations to low signal-to-noise X-ray data can bring valuable insights on the intracluster medium thermodynamic properties atz>1.

Abstract
The NIKA2 polarization channel at 260 GHz (1.15 mm) has been proposed primarily to observe galactic star-forming regions and probe the critical scales between 0.01-0.05 pc at which magnetic field lines may channel the matter of interstellar filaments into growing dense cores. The NIKA2 polarime-ter consists of a room temperature continuously rotating multi-mesh HWP and a cold polarizer that separates the two orthogonal polarizations onto two 260 GHz KIDs arrays. We describe in this paper the preliminary results obtained during the most recent commissioning campaign performed in December 2018. We concentrate here on the analysis of the extended sources, while the observation of compact sources is presented in a companion paper [12]. We present preliminary NIKA2 polarization maps of the Crab nebula. We find that the integrated polarization intensity flux measured by NIKA2 is consistent with expectations. In terms of polarization angle, we are still limited by systematic uncertainties that will be further investigated in the forthcoming commissioning campaigns.

Abstract
Clarifying the role of magnetic fields in the star formation process is crucial. Observations have already shown that magnetic fields play an important role in the early stages of star formation. The high spatial resolution (∼0.01 to 0.05 pc) provided by NIKA2-Pol 1.2 mm imaging polarimetry of nearby clouds will help us clarify the geometry of the B-field within dense cores and molecular filaments as part of the IRAM 30m large program B-FUN. There are numerous challenging issues in the validation of NIKA2-Pol such as the calibration of instrumental polarization. The commissioning phase of NIKA2-Pol is underway and is helping us characterize the intensity-to-polarization “leakage” pattern of the instrument. We present a preliminary analysis of the leakage pattern and its dependence with elevation. We also present the current leakage correction made possible by the NIKA2 pipeline in polarization mode based on the NIKA2-Pol commissioning data taken in December 2018. Based on reduced Stokes I, Q, U data we find that the leakage pattern of NIKA2-Pol depends on elevation and is sensitive to the focus of the telescope.

Abstract
Continuous cerebrovascular reactivity assessment in traumatic brain injury (TBI) has been limited by the need for invasive monitoring of either cerebral physiology or arterial blood pressure (ABP). This restricts the application of continuous measures to the acute phase of care, typically in the intensive care unit. It remains unknown if ongoing impairment of cerebrovascular reactivity occurs in the subacute and long-term phase, and if it drives ongoing morbidity in TBI. We describe an entirely non-invasive method for continuous assessment of cerebrovascular reactivity. We describe the technique for entirely non-invasive continuous assessment of cerebrovascular reactivity utilizing near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and robotic transcranial Doppler (rTCD) technology, with details provided for NIRS. Recent advances in continuous high-frequency non-invasive ABP measurement, combined with NIRS or rTCD, can be employed to derive continuous and entirely non-invasive cerebrovascular reactivity metrics. Such non-invasive measures can be obtained during any aspect of patient care post-TBI, and even during outpatient follow-up, avoiding classical intermittent techniques and costly neuroimaging based metrics obtained only at specialized centers. This combination of technology and signal analytic techniques creates avenues for future investigation of the long-term consequences of cerebrovascular reactivity, integrating high-frequency non-invasive cerebral physiology, neuroimaging, proteomics and clinical phenotype at various stages post-injury.

Abstract
The new NIKA2 camera at the IRAM 30m radiotelescope was used to observe three known debris disks in order to constrain the SED of their dust emission in the millimeter wavelength domain. We have found that the spectral index between the two NIKA2 bands (1mm and 2mm) is consistent with the Rayleigh-Jeans regime (λ-2), unlike the steeper spectra (λ-3) measured in the submillimeter-wavelength domain for two of the three disks - around the stars Vega and HD107146. We provide a succesful proof of concept to model this spectral inversion in using two populations of dust grains, those smaller and those larger than a grain radius a0 of 0.5mm. This is obtained in breaking the slope of the size distribution and the functional form of the absorption coefficient of the standard model. The third disk - around the star HR8799 - does not exhibit this spectral inversion but is also the youngest.

Abstract
The steps taken to tailor to NIKA2 observations the Scanamorphos algorithm (initially developed to subtract low-frequency noise from Herschel on-the-fly observations) are described, focussing on the consequences of the different instrument architecture and observation strategy. The method, making the most extensive use of the redundancy built in the multi-scan coverage with large arrays of a given region of the sky, is applicable to extended sources, while the pipeline is so far optimized for compact sources. An example of application is given. A related tool to build consistent broadband SEDs from 60 microns to 2 mm, combining Herschel and NIKA2 data, has also been developed. Its main task is to process the data least affected by low-frequency noise and coverage limitations (i.e. the Herschel data) through the same transfer function as the NIKA2 data, simulating the same scan geometry and applying the same noise and atmospheric signal as extracted from the 1mm and 2mm data.

Background/Introduction
Virtual Reality (VR) has recently gained great interest for examining 3D images from congenital heart disease (CHD) patients. Currently, 3D printed models of the heart may be used for particularly complex cases. These have been found to be intuitive and to positively impact clinical decision-making. Although positively received, such printed models must be segmented from the image data, generally only CT/MR may be used, the prints are static, and models do not allow for cropping / slicing or easy manipulation. Our VR system is designed to address these issues, as well as providing a simple interface compared to standard software. Building such a VR system, one with intuitive interaction which is clinically useful, requires studying user acceptance and requirements.
Purpose: We evaluate the usability of our VR system
can a prototype VR system be easily learned and used by clinicians unfamiliar with VR.
Method
We tested a VR system which can display 3D echo images and enables the user to interact with them, for instance by translating, rotating and cropping. Our system is tested on a transoesophageal echocardiogram from a patient with aortic valve disease. 13 clinicians evaluated the system including 5 imaging cardiologists, 5 physiologists, 2 surgeons and an interventionist, with their clinical experience ranging from trainee to more than 5 years’ of experience. None had used VR regularly in the past. After a brief training session, they were asked to place three anatomical landmarks and identify a particular cardiac view. They then completed a questionnaire on system ease of learning and image manipulation.
Results: Results are shown in the figure below. Learning to use the system was perceived as easy for all but one participant, who rated it as ‘Somewhat difficult’. However, once trained, all users found the system easy to use. Participants found the interaction, where objects in the scene are picked up using the controller and then track the controller’s motion in a 1:1 way, to be particularly easy to learn and use.
Conclusion
Our VR system was accepted by the vast majority of clinicians, both for ease of learning and use. Intuitiveness and the ability to interact with images in a natural way were highlighted as most useful - suggesting that such a system could become accepted for routine clinical use in the future.

Abstract
We present here the polarization system of the NIKA camera and give a summary of the main results obtained and performed studies on Orion and the Crab nebula. The polarization system was equipped with a room temperature continuously rotating multi-mesh half wave plate and a grid polarizer facing the NIKA cryostat window. NIKA even though less sensitive than NIKA2 had polarization capability in both 1 and 2 millimiter bands. NIKA polarization observations demonstrated the ability of such a technology in detecting the polarization of different targets, compact and extended sources like the Crab nebula and Orion Molecular Cloud region OMC-1. These measurements together with the developed techniques to deal with systematics, opened the way to the current observations of NIKA2 in polarization that will provide important advances in the studies of galactic and extra-galactic emission and magnetic fields.

Background/Introduction
Cardiac measurements are clinically important and are invariably required in any clinical imaging software. The advent of Virtual Reality (VR) imaging systems is introducing intuitive and natural ways of visualising and interrogating echo images in a 3D environment. The 3D nature of the VR experience requires purpose-designed measurement tools, which may benefit from better depth perception and easier localisation of 3D landmarks.
Purpose
Comparison of the accuracy of our VR 3D linear measurement system to commercial clinical imaging software, using both multi-plane reformatting (MPR) and volume rendered views.
Method
Each virtual reality measurement was made by selecting two points in 3D, directly in the volume rendering. The participants could edit the measurements until satisfied with their accuracy. 5 expert clinicians carried out 26 measurements each - 6 measurements on a calibration phantom, and 5 anatomically meaningful measurements (for example: aortic valve, left atrium, left ventricle) on 4 datasets. The same measurements were made by all participants using our VR system (volume rendering), Philips" QLAB (MPR) and Tomtec (volume rendering). The frame number and view (for example: long axis) were consistent for each measurement across the 3 packages used.
Results
Preliminary results are shown in the figure below. MPR measurements made on Philips’ QLAB are used as a reference, as this is the most commonly used software for this purpose at our institution. We compare measurements made in Tomtec and VR, both using volume rendering, using Bland-Altman plots. Each measurement data point is the mean of all participants measurements for each dataset/measurement combination. The mean of the measurement differences for the VR system is closer to zero, compared to Tomtec. However, the variation of these differences is larger for the VR system than for Tomtec.
Conclusion
Our preliminary results suggest that the accuracy of line measurements made using volume rendering within a VR system is comparable to measurements made using approved software packages for volume rendering displayed on a 2D screen. This shows promise for more complex interrogation methods.

Abstract
Clusters of galaxies, the largest bound objects in the Universe, constitute a cosmological probe of choice, which is sensitive to both dark matter and dark energy. Within this framework, the Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (SZ) effect has opened a new window for the detection of clusters of galaxies and for the characterization of their physical properties such as mass, pressure and temperature. NIKA, a KID-based dual band camera installed at the IRAM 30-m telescope, was particularly well adapted in terms of frequency, angular resolution, field-of-view and sensitivity, for the mapping of the thermal and kinetic SZ effect in high-redshift clusters. In this paper, we present the NIKA cluster sample and a review of the main results obtained via the measurement of the SZ effect on those clusters: reconstruction of the cluster radial pressure profile, mass, temperature and velocity.

Abstract
High-resolution mapping of the hot gas in galaxy clusters is a key tool for cluster-based cosmological analyses. Taking advantage of the NIKA2 millimeter camera operated at the IRAM 30-m telescope, the NIKA2 SZ Large Program seeks to get a high-resolution follow-up of 45 galaxy clusters covering a wide mass range at high redshift in order to re-calibrate some of the tools needed for the cosmological exploitation of SZ surveys. We present the second cluster analysis of this program, targeting one of the faintest sources of the sample in order to tackle the difficulties in data reduction for such faint, low-SNR clusters. In this study, the main challenge is the precise estimation of the contamination by sub-millimetric point sources, which greatly affects the tSZ map of the cluster. We account for this contamination by performing a joint fit of the SZ signal and of the flux density of the compact sources. A prior knowledge of these fluxes is given by the adjustment of the SED of each source using data from both NIKA2 and the Herschel satellite. The first results are very promising and demonstrate the possibility to estimate thermodynamic properties with NIKA2, even in a compact cluster heavily contaminated by point sources.
