Investigation of templated and supported polyaniline adsorbent materials

Diverse poly(aniline) (PANI) were synthesized in water, acid catalyzed solution with various acids (CH₃COOH, HCl, or H₂SO₄) and/or a chitosan support to afford nanoparticle PANI (in water), bulk-PANI (in aqueous acids), and a chitosan-PANI composite.
