Abstract
BACKGROUND Young adults are a diverse group with diverse cares, choices and preferences in accessing and using Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services, they should be at the center of the development of new managed models and solutions for the delivery of SRH services. The purpose of the study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to determine the knowledge and attitudes of young adults about SRH and the barriers for accessing services, and to evaluate the attitudes and needs of young adults to receive SRH services. METHODS In this study, the questions of the scale were developed through literature review, focus group interview with 8 people and expert evaluation were made, and a pre-test application was also carried out. Exploratory factor analysis and reliability testing were performed with a sample of 458 young adults. The re-test reliability was performed with 220 participants who were reached one month after the first measurement. Principal component analysis was used to establish the construct validity. The reliability of the scale was assessed using the Cronbach's alpha value. RESULTS A 23-item scale has been developed to identify and evaluate young adults' thoughts, attitudes, and perceived barriers for accessing services regarding SRH. In the exploratory factor analysis conducted to examine the construct validity of SRHSSS, a four-factor structure was obtained that explained 89.45% of the total variance. The factor loadings of the scale items were found to vary between 0.78-0.97. At the same time, the Cronbach's alpha value of the scale is 0.90, indicates a good internal consistency. CONCLUSIONS SRHSSS is a scale with sufficient validity and reliability to determine young adults' SRH Service Seeking.

Abstract
AIM This study investigated the resilience of nurses, the factors that contribute to resilience, and its relationship with perceptions of social support and job satisfaction. BACKGROUND Resilience plays an important role in how nurses cope with work-related stressors. METHODS A descriptive study was conducted with 242 nurses working at three public hospitals in Turkey. Data were collected using a descriptive data form, the Resilience Scale for Adults (RSA), the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) and the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale (MJSS). RESULTS Nurses' mean scores on the RSA, MSPSS, and MJSS were 99.80 ± 4.43, 66.66 ± 13.30, and 3.31 ± 0.72, respectively. Statistically significant relationships were detected between resilience and five factors: age, gender, mother's educational level, work experience and working hours (p < 0.05). A statistically significant positive correlation was also observed between MJSS score and both total RSA and family support subscale scores (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION The resilience, perceived social support, and job satisfaction of participating nurses were moderate. Significant factors in their resilience were age, gender, mother's educational level, work experience, working hours, perceived social support and job satisfaction. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING MANAGEMENT Nurse managers can use the results to plan interventions that improve resilience among nurses.

Abstract
This study was conducted as pre-test and post-test experimental design with the control group in order to identify the effect of psychoeducation on anger management and problem solving skills of the patients with post-traumatic stress disorder. This study was carried out in Gülhane Military Medical Academy, the department of Military Psychology and Battle Psychiatry between May 2012 and May 2013. The study sample included 22 control and 22 intervention group patients with PTSD who admitted to participate in the study and who were asked to receive the drug treatment by staying in the clinic. Psychoeducation was only performed on the intervention group. In the collection of research data, “Sociodemographical Information Form”, “Trait-Trait Anger Expression Inventory”, “Problem Solving Inventory” and “The Impact of Event Scale” were used. Data were assessed by Repeated Measures Variance Analysis via SPSS (15.0). Problem solving skills of the patients who had high-school and up to the level of high-school education were identified to be more insufficient than the ones having undergraduate and graduate educations. Before receiving psychoeducation, it was identified that the levels of trait anger of the patients were high, and that they perceived themselves as mild insufficient individuals in problem solving skills. It was identified that trait anger increased the anger control and problem-solving skills while it decreased inward and outward anger levels in the intervention group of psychoeducation. As a consequence, it has been recommended that the continuity of psychoeducations the psychiatry nurses applied have been provide in psychiatry clinic.Disclosure of interestThe authors have not supplied their declaration of competing interest.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The objectives of educational instruction on the rational use of medication are to teach students about frequent pharmaceutical applications, dosage calculations, observation of adverse side effects and patient training. A simulation project was used in nursing education/medical staff education to effectively gain knowledge and skills. OBJECTIVES In this study, our first aim was to investigate the effect of using a simulated patient as a teaching method on the performance of students in medication administration. Our second aim was to explore the students' views on the simulated patient teaching method in terms of the skills acquired in administering medication. DESIGN The study was designed and carried out as a quasi-experimental investigation in Turkey between September 2011 and December 2011. PARTICIPANTS The participants in the study were senior nursing students at a nursing school in Turkey. The data from eighty-five nursing students were obtained both at pretest and posttest. The views of all eighty-two students regarding a course on the rational use of medications were taken into consideration. Simulated patients were used throughout the entire course. SETTING An objectively constructed evaluation form (OCEF) was administered both at pretest and posttest to obtain participant feedback on a course on the rational use of medication. Descriptive statistics and a paired sample t-test were used in the data analyses. RESULT The mean pre-test score on the evaluation form was 24.02 ± 16.06, whereas the mean post-test score was 54.28 ± 14.54. Therefore, there was a statistically significant difference between the mean pre- and post-test scores (p<0.01; t=14.35). CONCLUSION The use of a simulated patient in a course on the rational use of medication proved effective. Furthermore, the students gave positive feedback regarding the use of the simulated patient as a teaching method.

Abstract
AIM The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of progressive muscle relaxation training on sleep quality and fatigue in Turkish women with breast cancer undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy. BACKGROUND Sleep problems and fatigue are highly prevalent in patients with breast cancer. Progressive muscle relaxation training is a promising approach in ameliorating the sleep quality and reducing the fatigue associated with cancer and its treatment. DESIGN A prospective, repeated measures, quasi-experimental design with control group. METHODS The study sampling consisted of 27 individuals (14 individuals formed the progressive muscle relaxation group, 13 individuals formed the control group) who met the criteria for inclusion in the study. Progressive muscle relaxation training was given to the progressive muscle relaxation group, but not to the control group. The effect of the progressive muscle relaxation training was measured at different stages of the treatment. A data collection form, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Piper Fatigue Scale were used to collect the data for this study. RESULTS The progressive muscle relaxation group experienced a greater increase in improved sleep quality and a greater decrease in fatigue than the control group. CONCLUSIONS The findings indicated that progressive muscle relaxation training would improve sleep quality and fatigue in patients with breast cancer undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy. RELEVANCE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE Progressive muscle relaxation training given by a nurse can improve sleep quality and fatigue in patients with breast cancer. It is important to start relaxation training just before chemotherapy to decrease the frequency and severity of sleep problems and symptoms such as fatigue during chemotherapy.
