Abstract
In the cation of the title salt, C30H28NO2 +·CF3O3S-, the four tetra-hydro-furan rings adopt envelope conformations. In the crystal, pairs of cations are linked by dimeric C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming two R 2 2(6) ring motifs parallel to the (001) plane. The cations and anions are connected by further C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network structure. Hirshfeld surface analysis indicates that the most important contributions to the crystal packing are from H⋯H (47.6%), C⋯H/H⋯C (20.6%), O⋯H/H⋯O (18.0%) and F⋯H/H⋯F (9.9%) inter-actions.

Abstract
The title compound, C21H25NO3, crystallized as a racemic twin in the Sohnke space group P21. In the mol-ecular structure of the title compound, both enanti-omers show a highly similar conformation with the urethane function and the benzoyl group showing an almost perpendicular arrangement [the dihedral angle is 72.46 (8)° in the S-enanti-omer and 76.21 (8)° in the R-enanti-omer]. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules of both enanti-omers show infinite helical arrangements parallel to the b axis formed by weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the phenyl ring of the benzoyl group and the carbamate carbonyl group. In case of the R-enanti-omer, this helix is additionally stabilized by a bifurcated hydrogen bond between the carbonyl function of the benzoyl group towards both phenyl groups of the mol-ecule.

Abstract
In the title compound, C27H33NO5, a 3,3,6,6-tetra-methyl-tetra-hydro-acridine-1,8-dione ring system carries an ethyl acetate substituent on the acridine N atom and an o-hy-droxy-phenyl ring on the central methine C atom of the di-hydro-pyridine ring. The benzene ring is inclined to the acridine ring system at an angle of 80.45 (7)° and this conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond between the hy-droxy substituent on the benzene ring and one of the carbonyl groups of the acridinedione unit. The ester C=O oxygen atom is disordered over major and minor orientations in a 0.777 (9):0.223 (9) ratio and the terminal -CH3 unit of the ethyl side chain is disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.725 (5): 0.275 (5) ratio. In the crystal, C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds combine to link the mol-ecules into a three-dimensional network. van der Waals H⋯H contacts contribute the most to the Hirshfeld surface (66.9%) followed by O⋯H/H⋯O (22.1%) contacts associated with weak hydrogen bonds.

Abstract
The title compounds, C13H18O3Si (1) and C18H20O3Si (2), represent functional-izable di-hydro-furan-ylsilanes, which permit substitution by a variety of nucleophiles. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 display weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions (qu-anti-fied by Hirshfeld surface analysis), leading to a two-dimensional supra-molecular network for 1 and a one-dimensional supra-molecular network for 2. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 were refined both on the basis of the independent atom model (IAM) and the Hirshfeld atom refinement (HAR) approach, and the results are comparatively discussed.

Abstract
The title compounds, C24H22O6 (I) and C24H22O6 (II), each crystallize with half a mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit. The whole mol-ecule of compound (I) is generated by twofold rotation symmetry, the twofold axis bis-ecting the central benzene ring. The whole mol-ecule of compound (II) is generated by inversion symmetry, the central benzene ring being located on an inversion center. In (I), the outer benzene rings are inclined to each other by 59.96 (10)° and by 36.74 (9)° to the central benzene ring. The corresponding dihedral angles in (II) are 0.0 and 89.87 (12)°. In the crystal of (I), mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions, forming ribbons propagating along the [10] direction. In the crystal of (II), mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a supra-molecular framework. The Hirshfeld surface analyses indicate that for both compounds the H⋯H contacts are the most significant, followed by O⋯H/H⋯O and C⋯H/H⋯C contacts.

Abstract
The title di-epoxy-phenalene derivative, C17H18O6, comprises a fused cyclic system containing four five-membered rings (two di-hydro-furan and two tetra-hydro-furan) and one six-membered ring (cyclo-hexa-ne). The five-membered di-hydro-furan and tetra-hydro-furan rings adopt envelope conformations, and the six-membered cyclo-hexane ring adopts a distorted chair conformation. Two methyl carboxyl-ate groups occupy adjacent positions (2- and 3-) on a tetra-hydro-furan ring. In the crystal, two pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules to form inversion dimers, enclosing two R 2 2(6) ring motifs, that stack along the a-axis direction and are arranged in layers parallel to the bc plane.

Abstract
In the title compound, C16H9FO4, (I), the benzene ring is oriented at an acute angle of 59.03 (15)° relative to the coumarin plane (r.m.s deviation = 0.009 Å). This conformation of (I) is stabilized by an intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bond, which closes a five-membering ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules of (I) form infinite zigzag chains along the b-axis direction, linked by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Furthermore, the crystal structure is supported by π-π stacking inter-actions between neighbouring pyrone and benzene or coumarin rings [centroid-centroid distances in the range 3.5758 (18)-3.6115 (16) Å], as well as C=O⋯π inter-actions [O⋯centroid distances in the range 3.266 (3)-3.567 (3) Å]. The theoretical data for (I) obtained from quantum chemical calculations are in good agreement with the observed structure, although the calculated C-O-C-C torsion angle between the coumarin fragment and the benzene ring (73.7°) is somewhat larger than the experimental value [63.4 (4)°]. Hirshfeld surface analysis has been used to confirm and qu-antify the supra-molecular inter-actions.

Abstract
The new title 4-thia-zolidinone derivative, C16H21N3O3S, was obtained from the cyclization reaction of 4-methyl-3-thio-semicarbazone and dimethyl acetyl-enedi-carboxyl-ate (DMAD). The cyclo-hexyl-idene ring has an envelope conformation with the stereogenic centre C atom as the flap. Its mean plane makes a dihedral angle of 56.23 (9)° with the thia-zolidine ring mean plane. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating in the [001] direction. Within the chains there are offset π-π inter-actions between the thia-zolidine rings of inversion-related mol-ecules [centroid-centroid distance = 3.703 (1) Å]. The chains are linked by further C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming slabs parallel to the ac plane.

Abstract
In the title compound, the isatin (1H-indole-2,3-dione) moiety is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.026 Å). In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the ab plane, and enclosing (24) loops. In the title compound, C10H8BrNO2, the isatin (1H-indole-2,3-dione) moiety is nearly planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.026 Å). In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the ab plane, and enclosing R44(24) loops. There are a low percentage (19.3%) of intermolecular H⋯H contacts in the structure, as estimated by the analysis of Hirshfeld surfaces. This could be due to the presence of the Br atom, present in the bromoethylene group, which makes ca 18.7% Br⋯H contacts.

Abstract
The title compound, C30H28O2, was obtained during recrystallization of (±)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-propane-diol in 1-butanol, from an unexpected non-acid-catalyzed pinacol rearrangement followed by acetal formation of the newly formed aldehyde with the diol. The tri-substituted dioxolane ring has a twist conformation on the C-O bond opposite the methyl-substituted C atom. There is an intra-molecular C-H⋯π inter-action present involving one of the di-phenyl-ethyl rings and an H atom of the phenyl ring in position 4 of the dioxolane ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [001]. The chains are linked by a second C-H⋯π inter-action, forming sheets parallel to the bc plane.

Abstract
The title compound, C15H19NO4, is the a product of the esterification of the corresponding carbonic acid with methanol. The molecule comprises a fused tetracyclic system containing three five-membered rings (2-pyrrolidinone, tetrahydrofuran and dihydrofuran) and one seven-membered ring (azepane). The five-membered rings have the usual envelope conformations, with the quaternary C atom being the flap atom for the 2-pyrrolidinone ring, and the ether O atom being the common flap atom for the remaining rings. The seven-membered azepane ring adopts a chair conformation with the methine and middle methylene C atoms lying above and below the mean plane defined by the remaining five atoms. The carboxylate substituent is rotated by 77.56 (5)° with respect to the base plane of the tetrahydrofuran ring. In the crystal, the molecules are bound by weak C—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions into puckered layers parallel to (001).

Abstract
In the title compound, C22H18N2O4, the three fused rings of the pyrazolo-phthalazine moiety are coplanar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.027 Å). The cyclo-hexene ring fused to the pyrazolidine ring, so forming the indazolophthalazine unit, has a half-chair conformation. The benzene ring is almost normal to the mean plane of the pyrazolo-phthalazine moiety, with a dihedral angle of 87.21 (6)° between their planes. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming inversion dimers. The dimers are linked via C-H⋯π inter-actions, forming slabs parallel to (100). Between the slabs there are weak π-π inter-actions [shortest inter-centroid distance = 3.6664 (9) Å], leading to the formation of a three-dimensional structure.

Abstract
The title compounds were synthesized via an Arbuzov reaction between an α-bromoketone and isopropoxydiphenylphosphane. In the crystals of both compounds, molecules are linked via bifurcated C—H⋯(O,O) hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along [100] and along [010]. The title compounds, C20H16ClO2P, (I), and C18H21O2P, (II), were synthesized via an Arbuzov reaction between an α-bromoketone and isopropoxydiphenylphosphane. In the crystals of both compounds, molecules are linked via bifurcated C—H⋯(O,O) hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along [100] for (I) and along [010] for (II). The chains are linked via C—H⋯π interactions, leading to the formation of sheets lying parallel to (010) for (I) and (001) for (II). The absolute structure of compound (II) was determined by resonant scattering [Flack parameter = 0.088 (14)].

Abstract
The title compound consists of two planar halves. There is one half-molecule in the asymmetric unit, the whole molecule being generated by twofold rotation symmetry. The crystal structure has wide channels of 5–6 Å in diameter extending along the c-axis direction. The molecules are associated into a three-dimensional network supported by some weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯π interactions. The title compound, C34H38O8 (systematic name: 5,5′-diisopropyl-2,2′,3,3′-tetramethoxy-7,7′-dimethyl-2H,2′H-8,8′-bi[naphtho[1,8-bc]furan]-4,4′-diol), has been obtained from a gossypol solution in a mixture of dimethyl sulfate and methanol. The molecule is situated on a twofold rotation axis, so the asymmetric unit contains one half-molecule. In the molecule, the hydroxy groups are involved in intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, and the two naphthyl fragments are inclined each to other by 83.8 (1)°. In the crystal, weak C—H⋯O and C—H⋯π interactions consolidate the packing, which exhibits channels with an approximate diameter of 6 Å extending along the c-axis direction. These channels are filled with highly disordered solvent molecules, so their estimated scattering contribution was subtracted from the observed diffraction data using the SQUEEZE option in PLATON [Spek, A. L. (2015). Acta Cryst. C71, 9–18].
