Abstract
PROBLEM Practitioners and researchers frequently rely on the Family Resilience Assessment Scale (FRAS) to assess family resilience, and previous research reported varying reliability statistics for the measurements with the scale. The present study aims to generalize the reliability of the FRAS based on Cronbach's alpha coefficients reported in the selected studies. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA We selected relevant research on various databases, including Web of Science, PubMed, ProQuest, Scopus, YÖK Thesis Center, DergiPark, and TR Index. SAMPLE Satisfying our inclusion criteria, fifty-five studies were included in the present study. RESULTS We calculated the reliability generalization coefficients for the FRAS total score to be 0.951 (95% CI [0.942, 0.958]) and 0.949 for Family Communication and Problem Solving, 0.792 for Utilizing Social and Economic Resources, 0.861 for Maintaining a Positive Outlook, 0.635 for Family Connectedness, 0.873 for Family Spirituality, and 0.702 for Ability to Make Meaning of Adversity. CONCLUSIONS In a nutshell, our findings secure substantial insights into the reliability of the FRAS and its subscales for prospective researchers and practitioners. In this study, generalized Cronbach's alpha values imply average, good, and acceptable reliability for the FRAS subscales and total score, except for Family Connectedness. IMPLICATIONS The distinct contribution of our research may be to reemphasize the significance of avoiding reliability induction and to raise awareness among prospective researchers of evaluating the reliability of any measurement they would obtain.

Abstract
This work studies the epidemiology of hip fracture in Egypt. While the incidence of hip fracture in Egypt matches that of the Mediterranean region, there was geographic variation in osteoporotic hip fracture incidence between the north and south of Egypt. PURPOSE To assess the incidence of hip fracture in Egypt, with special emphasis on the geographic and demographic variation among the Egyptian population. METHODS The incidence of hip fractures treated in two Egyptian FLS centers was calculated for the period of February 2022-February 2023. Demographic information was recorded for every patient on the national register. All patients completed a baseline questionnaire, had clinical evaluation, fracture risk, falls, and sarcopenia risk assessment. A DXA scan was carried out for every patient. RESULTS The annual incidence of low-energy hip fracture in individuals aged 40 years or more in Egypt in 2022-2023 was 123.34 per 100,000 in women and 55.19 per 100,000 in men. The incidence of hip fractures was higher in south Egypt (113.62) versus north Egypt (64.8). This was consistent for both genders. Bone mineral density was significantly (p < 0.01) lower in south Egypt at both the spine, distal forearm, as well as hip trochanters, whereas there was no significant difference between both locations in terms of the total hip and neck of the femur. Yet, falls risk, sarcopenia, as well as functional disability rates were significantly (p < 0.001) higher in the north. CONCLUSION In Egypt, the hip fracture incidence was higher in the south compared to the north. Several modifiable factors contribute to fragility fracture risk independent of BMD, creating complex interrelationships between BMD, risk factors, and fracture risk.

Abstract
Family resilience is a construct based on interactive processes occurring in the family, enabling the family to effectively overcome everyday stressors, as well as developmental and unpredictable crises. By observing how the family deals with difficulties using family resilience processes, we are able to support both parents and protect children against the harmful effects of unfavourable conditions. The aim of our research was to carry out the procedure of adaptation to the Polish language and culture of the Walsh Family Resilience Questionnaire. In this study, 930 Poles participated (72.5% women), aged from 18 to 63 (M = 26.94, SD = 9.8). They filled in the questionnaire online. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the model with three factors: belief system, organisational processes, and communication processes. The model indicators were found to be well suited to the data: χ2/df = 1.12, RMSEA = 0.01, CFI = 0.99, TLI = 0.99, SRMR = 0.04. The reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) of the scales was also satisfactory (0.94 for the belief systems, 0.86 for the organisational processes, and 0.94 for the communication processes). Tool validation with FRAS-PL scales showed convergence. We named the Polish version of the WFRQ Questionnaire Kwestionariusz Prężności Rodzinnej Walsh (WFRQ-PL) and found it to be a good tool for assessing the processes of family resilience in our country.

Abstract
Graphene-based materials (GBMs) are extremely promising and their increasing number urges scientists to conduct more and more toxicity studies. However, case-by-case approaches are rarely the best options in the earliest phases of industrial processes. Grouping can show great assets in this context: it is defined as the process of gathering substances into a common group. Oxidative stress being a major mechanism of nanotoxicity, an important grouping criterion is the surface reactivity, for which a relevant assessment is the FRAS (ferric reducing ability of the serum) assay. However, the application of the FRAS to GBMs is questioned due to their hydrophobicity. In this study, we explored the relevance and feasibility of the FRAS for grouping, working on 22 GBMs and 2 carbon blacks. We concluded that with few adjustments, the FRAS method appeared perfectly adapted to these materials and allowed a classification as "reactive" or "non-reactive" in agreement with results of ROS production for 84% of our GBMs. While not self-sufficient for toxicity assessment, the FRAS presents interesting qualities: it is fast, cheap, and simple. Therefore, we recommend studying GBMs using the FRAS as a step of a grouping process, a complement to other assays or as an early screening tool.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES As plasma and salivary total antioxidant capacity (TAC) is mainly contributed by uric acid (UA), the present study measures non-urate TAC (Nu-TAC). The aim of the study was to correlate plasma native TAC, Nu-TAC and UA with their salivary analogues, and compare the UA contribution in both body fluids using two different methods. METHODS The study involved 55 middle-aged and older subjects (66.7 ± 4.5 years). TAC was determined simultaneously with two methods (ferric reducing ability of plasma - FRAP, 2.2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl - DPPH and countertypes for saliva - FRAS and DPPHS test), with and without UA (native TAC and Nu-TAC, respectively). Plasma UA and salivary UA (SUA) were assessed. RESULTS Subjects with increased FRAP, DPPH and UA had higher FRAS, DPPHS and SUA, respectively (P < 0.05). Plasma Nu-TAC indices did not correlate with salivary Nu-TAC. The contribution of UA to the plasma and salivary DPPH tests was similar: 75.7 ± 10.3% and 75.2 ± 14.0%, respectively. However, the contribution of UA to FRAS was higher than that for FRAP (71.6 ± 13.9% vs. 64.0 ± 8.1%; P < 0.001). DISCUSSION Our findings suggest that saliva is a good predictor for native plasma TAC but not for Nu-TAC. UA level is comparably dominant in saliva and in plasma according to DPPH, but lower in plasma according to FRAP.
