Abstract
Purpose We report the ocular findings that patients experienced after receiving the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination in three different eye centers in Malaysia. Observations A total of four cases were reported. Three patients received the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, while the other received the Oxford AstraZeneca type. Ocular symptoms occurred after the first vaccine dose in two patients and after the second vaccine dose in the other two. Three out of four patients required active treatment for their vision complications postvaccination. The first patient had acute-onset retinal pigment epitheliitis within 3 h of vaccination and was treated conservatively. The second patient developed unilateral choroidal neovascularization 3 days after vaccination and required intravitreal antivascular endothelial growth factor injection. The third patient presented with bilateral acute multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy a week after vaccination and responded to intravenous methylprednisolone. The fourth patient presented with herpes zoster infection and unilateral anterior nongranulomatous uveitis 2 weeks after vaccination and was treated with oral acyclovir and topical corticosteroids. All patients reported some amount of visual recovery. Conclusions and importance Visual symptoms and various ocular adverse events can occur following COVID-19 vaccination, which warrants further investigation and urgent intervention if necessary. We would suggest patients receiving the COVID-19 vaccination be aware of possible ocular complications and report any symptoms, regardless of severity.

Abstract
PURPOSE To describe the clinical characteristics and multimodal imaging features of a distinctive subtype of active idiopathic multifocal choroiditis (iMFC) lesions with grey-yellow chorioretinal lesions surrounded by smaller satellite dots, a presentation referred to as "chrysanthemum lesions." METHODS Retrospective, observational, multicenter case series of eyes with active iMFC and chrysanthemum lesions. Multimodal imaging features were reviewed and presented. RESULTS Twenty-five eyes from 20 patients (12 women and 8 men), with a mean age of 35.8 ± 17.0 years (range, 7-78 years) were included. Chrysanthemum lesions were equally located in the macula (48.0%) or the mid/far periphery (52.0%). The number of lesions per eye varied from 1 (16.0%) to more than 20 (56.0%). On optical coherence tomography, chrysanthemum lesions showed typical features of iMFC, including subretinal hyperreflective material splitting the retinal pigment epithelium/Bruch membrane. Chrysanthemum lesions were hypoautofluorescent on fundus autofluorescence imaging, hyperfluorescent on fluorescein angiography, hypofluorescent on indocyanine green angiography, and associated with choriocapillaris flow signal deficit on optical coherence tomography angiography. CONCLUSION Active iMFC may present with findings resembling chrysanthemum lesions. The distinctive lesion morphology on ophthalmoscopic examination, the large number of lesions, and the high prevalence of exclusive midperipheral and far peripheral involvement may represent a distinctive phenotype of iMFC.

Abstract
A 21-year-old student with healed multifocal choroiditis involving the macula presented with difficulty in seeing distance and reading her college books. Based on microperimetr'y, the location of her preferred retinal locus and the position of new trained retinal locus (TRL) were identified. With multiple sessions of biofeedback training, her mean retinal sensitivity improved from 4.8 to 8.8 dl, distance vision from 3/60 to 6/36, and near vision from N32 to N8 in the right eye. At 6-month follow-up, her TRL position and visual acuity were found to be stable. This case report highlights that eccentric viewing training using microperimeter can significantly improve the efficiency of functional vision in patients with choroiditis.

Abstract
PURPOSE To assess the effect of corticosteroids (CS) on choroidal neovascularization (CNV) occurrence and recurrence of activity over 2 years in patients with punctate inner choroidopathy (PIC) or multifocal choroiditis (MFC). METHODS Retrospective longitudinal study. Previous use of CS was analyzed between group without CNV and group with CNV occurrence and recurrence. RESULTS Thirty-six patients were included. Patients with CNV were less likely to have received CS in the 6 months following PIC or MFC diagnosis (17% versus 65%, p-value = 0.01). Patients with CNV who had a recurrence of neovascular activity were less likely to have received a previous CS therapy (20% versus 78%; odds ratio = 0.08, p-value = 0.005). CONCLUSIONS This study suggests that patients with PIC and MFC should be treated by CS to prevent CNV development and decrease CNV recurrences.

Abstract
The diagnosis of OTB (Ocular tuberculosis) is usually difficult to make. Definitive diagnosis requires the identification of M. tuberculosis organisms in ocular tissues or fluids, but samples are often difficult to obtain, and biopsy may be hard to justify. We describe a 50-years-old Maghreb male, who presented a multifocal choroiditis associated with a choroidal tuberculoma on the left eye. Based on positive QuantiFERON-TB-Gold test and suggestive clinical and radiographic findings, a diagnosis of presumed ocular tuberculosis was made. Serial swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) and widefield fundus retinographies during subsequent follow-up visits demonstrated the characterization of the atypical tuberculosis presentation and allowed the assessment of response to antitubercular therapy and oral steroids.

Abstract
PURPOSE To report a case of multifocal chorioretinitis with serous macular detachment in diffuse unilateral subacute neuroretinitis (DUSN) and its diagnostic dilemma. DESIGN Case report. METHOD A 43-year-old woman presented with painless diminution of vision of right eye for 1 week. Dilated fundoscopy showed mild disc edema, multiple deep grey-white retinitis lesions in posterior pole with mild vitritis. Optical coherence tomography revealed serous macular detachment. Fundus fluorescein angiography was suggestive of active retinitis. Comprehensive workup was unremarkable. Six days later, a live subretinal worm was noticed in inferotemporal retina. A diagnosis of DUSN was made and treated with laser photocoagulation followed by antihelminthic therapy. One month later, patients vision improved and chorioretinal lesions also healed. CONCLUSION This report presents a unique scenario of serous macular detachment in DUSN in addition to commonly seen multifocal deep retinitis lesions. Prompt treatment with laser, antihelminthic agent can prevent irreversible vision loss.

Abstract
PURPOSE To describe longitudinal, anatomical, and functional alterations caused by inflammatory and neovascular lesions of idiopathic multifocal choroiditis/punctate inner choroidopathy using adaptive optics imaging and microperimetry. METHODS Longitudinal case study using multiple imaging modalities, including spectral-domain optical coherence tomography, fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography, optical coherence tomography angiography, flood illumination adaptive optics, and microperimetry. RESULTS A 21-year-old myopic Asian man presented with blurred vision in the right eye. Clinical examination was notable for an isolated hypopigmented, perifoveal lesion in each eye. Multimodal imaging showed inflammatory lesions in the outer retina, retina pigment epithelium, and inner choroid lesions of both eyes. The right eye additionally exhibited active Type-2 macular neovascularization with loss of cone mosaic regularity that was associated with reduced sensitivity on microperimetry. The clinical picture was consistent with multifocal choroiditis/punctate inner choroidopathy. The patient was treated with oral steroids and three injections of intravitreal bevacizumab in the right eye. After therapy, imaging showed reestablishment of the cone mosaic on flood illumination adaptive optics and improvement in sensitivity on microperimetry. CONCLUSION Adaptive optics imaging and microperimetry may detect biomarkers that help to characterize the nature and activity of multifocal choroiditis lesions and to help monitor response to therapy. With timely intervention, structural abnormalities in the outer retina and choroid can be treated, and anatomical improvements precede improvements in visual function.

Abstract
PURPOSE To report a case of BRAF/MEK inhibitor-associated multifocal choroiditis that recurred after medication re-exposure and resolved after discontinuing BRAF/MEK inhibition and administering local steroid therapy. CASE REPORT A 32-year-old woman with metastatic cutaneous melanoma on dabrafenib/trametinib presented with bilateral anterior uveitis and new bilateral multifocal chorioretinal scars. The anterior uveitis resolved after a course of topical steroids. She presented 18 months later with reactivation of bilateral multifocal choroiditis after starting encorafenib/binimetinib 1 month prior. The chorioretinal lesions appeared elevated with associated vitreous cell. Indocyanine angiography showed numerous foci of new choroiditis, more pronounced in the left eye. Encorafenib/binimetinib was discontinued and a subtenon triamcinolone injection was administered to the left eye. Her symptoms improved and the choroiditis resolved. CONCLUSION BRAF/MEK inhibitors may be associated with ocular toxicity manifesting as multifocal choroiditis. The increasing use of these agents and risk of visual impairment warrants early detection and management.

Abstract
The fundus photographs provided show deep yellowish lesions, multifocal exudative retinal detachments, and optic disc hyperemia in both eyes. Spectral domain optical coherence tomography scans shown demonstrate bilateral exudative retinal detachments involving the macula in the right eye. The exudative retinal detachment is characterized by the presence of subretinal fibrin and septa. The B-scan ultrasonography provided shows low- to medium-reflective choroidal thickening predominating around optic nerve head, in association with exudative retinal detachment in the right eye. All these findings are highly suggestive of acute Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease rather than multifocal choroiditis.

Abstract
PURPOSE A heatmap analysis of choroidal lesions in patients with punctate inner choroidopathy (PIC) or multifocal choroiditis (MFC) with or without uveitis was performed to determine if there were any distinguishing features among these uveitic entities. METHODS Retrospective review of medical records was conducted at the Byers Eye Institute, Stanford. Fundus photographs were masked and placed on a standardized template. Lesions were identified and heatmaps were generated in a standardized fashion. RESULTS 30 eyes were identified with PIC or MFC. Heatmap analysis revealed three distinct patterns of fundus lesions: posterior, peripheral, and combined. All patients with PIC had the posterior pattern. Patients with MFC had the peripheral or combined pattern, and all patients with MFC with uveitis had the combined pattern. CONCLUSION Three patterns of fundus lesions were identified in patients with PIC and MFC. PIC and MFC may represent two separate disease entities with distinct phenotypes of choroidal lesions.

Abstract
Purpose To evaluate the clinical course of idiopathic multifocal choroiditis (MFC) and punctate inner choroidopathy (PIC) and the efficacy and safety of treatment options during pregnancy. Methods Patients with MFC or PIC and a pregnancy in 2011–2019 from two academic centres were enrolled. For the most recent pregnancy, data on best‐corrected visual acuity (BCVA) before and after pregnancy, relapse rate in pregnancy and postpartum period and obstetric, maternal and neonatal outcomes were collected. Treatment regimens consisted of a wait‐and‐see regime and an immunosuppressive treatment regime with systemic corticosteroids and/or azathioprine, both combined with intravitreal antivascular endothelial growth factor injections when indicated. Results Sixteen women (26 affected eyes) were included. Median Snellen BCVA was 20/19 before pregnancy and 20/18 after delivery. In seven pregnancies a wait‐and‐see regime and in nine pregnancies an immunosuppressive treatment regime was carried out. Fourteen intravitreal anti‐VEGF injections were given in six pregnancies. The relapse rate during pregnancy was 44% and in the postpartum period 31%. Maternal/obstetrical and fetal complications occurred in 31% and 13% of the pregnancies, respectively. Fifteen healthy children were born and one pregnancy ended in a stillbirth in a patient with a complicated obstetrical history. One patient treated with azathioprine developed intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP). Conclusions Among women with MFC and PIC BCVA remained stable during pregnancy despite a relapse rate of 44% in pregnancy. No major maternal, obstetric and fetal complications occurred in pregnant patients treated with systemic corticosteroids, azathioprine or intravitreal anti‐VEGF injections, though one patient developed ICP while treated with azathioprine.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To use optical coherence tomography (OCT) to compare retinal biomarkers of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) secondary to multifocal choroiditis (MFC), myopic choroidal neovascularization (mCNV), and idiopathic choroidal neovascularization (ICNV) and to provide a basis for its clinical diagnosis and treatment. METHODS In this retrospective case study, patients admitted to the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University between January 2018 and January 2021 who were initially diagnosed with CNV secondary to MFC, mCNV, and ICNV were categorized into groups, by disease, for analysis. Spectral domain-OCT (SD-OCT) was used to describe and measure the morphological characteristics of CNV lesions in each group. The retinal biomarkers of CNV in MFC, mCNV, and ICNV were compared. RESULTS Sixty-eight patients (71 eyes) were included and all eyes were diagnosed with active type 2 CNV. The MFC group had higher refraction than the ICNV group (P2 < 0.05). The choroidal thickness (CT) and CNV diameter of the MFC group were significantly greater than those of the mCNV group (P1 < 0.05). The number of eyes with sub-retinal fluids (SRF) and a "pitchfork sign" was significantly greater in the MFC group than in the mCNV group (P1 < 0.05). There was a significant difference only in CT) values between the MFC and ICNV groups (P2 < 0.001), but not in the other observation indicators (P2 > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS OCT biomarkers, such as the diameter of the CNV, SRF, the "pitchfork sign," and CT under CNV are useful in distinguishing CNV secondary to MFC from mCNV, which can allow the timely selection of treatment in some difficult cases. There were no differences between the MFC group and ICNV group except in refractive error, which indicates that some ICNV cases may be an early stage of a type of occult chorioretinitis. Long-term follow-up is needed for ICNV patients to confirm whether there is any potential inflammation.Key messagesSometimes, it is difficult to separate MFC with CNV from myopic CNV and ICNV in clinical.OCT biomarkers, such as the diameter of the CNV, SRF, the "pitchfork sign," and CT under CNV are useful in distinguishing CNV secondary to MFC from mCNV.There were no differences between the MFC group and ICNV group except in refractive error.

Abstract
Due to their non-specific diagnostic patterns of ocular infection, differential diagnosis between Mycobacterium (M.) chimaera and tuberculosis can be challenging. In both disorders, ocular manifestation can be the first sign of a systemic infection, and a delayed diagnosis might reduce the response to treatment leading to negative outcomes. Thus, it becomes imperative to distinguish chorioretinal lesions associated with M. chimaera, from lesions due to M. tuberculosis and other infectious disorders. To date, multimodal non-invasive imaging modalities that include ultra-wide field fundus photography, fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography, optical coherence tomography and optical coherence tomography angiography, facilitate in vivo examination of retinal and choroidal tissues, enabling early diagnosis, monitoring treatment response, and relapse detection. This approach is crucial to differentiate between active and inactive ocular disease, and guides clinicians in their decisional-tree during the patients’ follow-up. In this review, we summarized and compared the available literature on multimodal imaging data of M. chimaera infection and tuberculosis, emphasizing similarities and differences in imaging patterns between these two entities and highlighting the relevance of multimodal imaging in the management of the infections.

Abstract
Background: To analyze long-term ophthalmic clinical and multimodal imaging findings of disseminated Mycobacterium (M.) chimaera infection after cardiothoracic surgery among the Swiss Cohort. Methods: Systemic and multimodal ophthalmic imaging and clinical findings including rate of recurrence were reviewed and correlated to a previously proposed classification system of choroidal lesions and classification of ocular disease. Main Outcomes Measures: long-term clinical and multimodal ocular imaging findings of M. chimaera. Results: Twelve patients suffering from systemic infection from M. chimaera were included. Mean age at the first ophthalmic examination was 59 years (range from 48 to 66 years). Mean duration of the follow-up was 22.63 ± 17.8 months. All patients presented with bilateral chorioretinal lesions at baseline; 5 patients had additional signs, including optic disc swelling (2), choroidal neovascularization (1), retinal neovascularization (1) and cilioretinal vascular occlusion (1). Four recurrence events after discontinuation or adjustment of the antibiotic treatment were observed. Progressive choroiditis was seen in 5 patients under treatment, 4 of them deceased. Conclusions: Expertise from ophthalmologists is not only relevant but also critical for the assessment of the adverse drug effect of antimycobacterial treatment along with monitoring therapeutic response and identifying recurrences.

Abstract
The choroid was poorly accessible to imaging investigation until the last decade of the last century. With the availability of more precise imaging methods such as indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) and, later, optical coherence tomography (OCT), enhanced depth OCT (EDI-OCT), and OCT angiography (OCTA), appraisal of choroidal inflammation has substantially gained in accuracy. This allowed to precisely determine which structures were touched in the different non-infectious choroiditis entities and made it possible to classify this group of diseases, ICGA signs, mainly hypofluorescent lesions, were identified and described. Previous publications have divided angiographic findings into two main sets of signs: (1) irregular “geographic” hypofluorescent areas corresponding to choriocapillaris non-perfusion and (2) round more regular, hypofluorescent dark dots more evenly distributed in the fundus corresponding to more deep choroidal stromal foci. These distinct findings allowed to subdivide and classify choroiditis into choriocapillaritis and stromal choroiditis. Additional signs were identified from EDI-OCT and OCTA examination supporting the classification of choroiditis into choriocapillaritis and stromal choroiditis. Results: Diseases involving principally the choriocapillaris included Multiple Evanescent White Dot Syndrome (MEWDS), Acute Posterior Multifocal Placoid Pigment Epitheliopathy (APMPPE), Idiopathic Multifocal Choroiditis (MFC), and Serpiginous Choroiditis (SC) as well as mixed forms. Diseases primarily involving the choroidal stroma included HLA-A29 Birdshot Retinochoroiditis (BRC), Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease (VKH), Sympathetic Ophthalmia (SO), and Sarcoidosis chorioretinitis (SARC). Thanks to new imaging investigations of the choroid, it is now possible to classify and understand the diverse clinicopathological mechanisms in the group of non-infectious choroiditis entities.

Abstract
Purpose: To report the 5-year results of chorioretinal atrophy (CRA) progression in patients with punctate inner choroidopathy (PIC) or multifocal choroiditis (MFC).Methods: A retrospective study included PIC/MFC patients with secondary CRA formation. The area of CRA was measured and the progression rate was calculated. Multiple regression analysis was performed to investigate risk factors associated with CRA progression.Results: Forty-five eyes of 36 patients were included. The mean CRA size significantly increased after an average of 4.83 years of follow-up with progression rate of 0.69 mm2/year. Moreover, we had identified the axial length and initial PIC lesion number as significant risk factors for CRA progression.Conclusion: Significant CRA enlargement is noted in PIC/MFC patients after 5 years of follow-up. The progression rate is associated with axial length and initial PIC numbers. Aggressive treatment is suggested for eyes with more initial lesion numbers and longer axial length to control the faster CRA progression.

Abstract
PURPOSE To describe the application of OCT-A in various posterior uveitis disorders in our experience and to compare it with the available literature. METHODS Eighteen eyes with the diagnoses of multifocal choroiditis (MFC), multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (APMPPE), multiple evanescent white dot syndrome (MEWDS), tuberculous serpiginous-like choroiditis (SLC), serpiginous choroiditis (SC), and birdshot chorioretinopathy (BSCR) were studied. RESULTS We found flow void of the choriocapillaris in patients with APMPPE, SC, MFC, BSCR, and in SLC. In contrast, perfusion of the choriocapillaris seemed normal in patients with MEWDS. CONCLUSIONS We confirmed that OCT-A contributes new information on the physiopathology of white dot syndromes and inflammatory chorioretinopathies, notably on whether or not the choriocapillaris is involved. Comparing the OCT-A features allowed us to suggest that both APMPPE and SLC might be part of the same spectrum of inflammatory disease with primary involvement at the level of the choriocapillaris and secondary RPE damage.

Abstract
PURPOSE To evaluate the efficacy of corticosteroid-sparing immunomodulatory therapy (IMT) in patients with recurrent and/or sight-threatening central multifocal choroiditis (MFC). METHODS This was a retrospective cohort study in a tertiary uveitis centre including all patients with MFC who have been treated with IMT for at least 12 months. Clinical data and imaging results were collected regarding the period prior to the start of IMT and at 3, 6, 12 and - where available - 24 months after the start of IMT. Main outcome measure was the number of annual recurrences of choroiditis with or without active choroidal neovascularization before and after the start of IMT. Secondary outcomes were the percentage of patients with (steroid-free) remission and the median time between the start of IMT and (steroid-free) remission. RESULTS Thirty-two patients (39 eyes) were included. At the start of IMT, none of the patients were in (steroid-free) remission. At 24 months, the probability of achieving remission and steroid-free remission was 88,5% and 50%, respectively. The median time to achieve remission and steroid-free remission was 21 and 83 weeks, respectively. In 17 patients (20 eyes) with available clinical data and imaging results for ≥ 12 months prior to the start of IMT, the mean number of recurrences/year decreased significantly from 1.40 ± 0.81 at baseline to 0.49 ± 0.47 (p = 0.001) after the start of IMT. CONCLUSIONS Preventive therapy with IMT should be considered in patients with recurrent and/or sight-threatening MFC to decrease the number of recurrences/year and to increase the prospects of achieving either remission or steroid-free remission.

Abstract
PURPOSE To evaluate multifocal evanescent white dot syndrome (MEWDS) patients with and without overlapping multifocal choroiditis (MFC). METHODS Thirty-four patients diagnosed between November 2008 and August 2018 at 2 hospitals were retrospectively reviewed. Multimodal imaging including optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) was assessed. RESULTS Twenty-seven (79%) patients were women (overall mean age, 30 years). Five developed MFC lesions in the affected eyes, and one developed MFC in the unaffected fellow eye. Another developed combined MEWDS and MFC in the fellow eye during follow-up. Eyes with MFC had thicker choroids (316.5 and 197.3 µm, respectively; P = .001) at presentation, which became thinner after resolution (P = .043). Those with subfoveal MFC had poor visual prognosis (P = .019). Areas of suspected choriocapillaris flow deficit were identified on OCTA. CONCLUSION Some MEWDS patients may develop overlapping MFC in the same or fellow eyes, presenting with increased choroidal thickness which decreased after resolution.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION To investigate choroidal thickness changes related to the clinical activity of inflammatory choroidal neovascularization in punctate inner choroidopathy/multifocal choroiditis as compared to myopic choroidal neovascularization. MATERIALS AND METHODS Consecutive inflammatory choroidal neovascularization secondary to punctate inner choroidopathy/multifocal choroiditis, and myopic choroidal neovascularization were retrospectively reviewed. By means of enhanced-depth imaging optical coherence tomography, choroidal thickness was assessed at the same location before choroidal neovascularization development, at choroidal neovascularization onset (baseline), and after treatment. RESULTS Eleven eyes with inflammatory choroidal neovascularization and 11 eyes with myopic choroidal neovascularization were analyzed. Choroidal thickness beneath inflammatory choroidal neovascularization significantly increased at baseline and decreased after therapy ("Sponge sign"), reaching preclinical values. In particular, mean choroidal thickness under inflammatory choroidal neovascularization was 145 ± 85 µm at the preclinical stage, increased to 210 ± 103 µm at baseline (p = 0.006), and decreased to 136 ± 87 µm after treatment (p = 0.017). Conversely, no significant choroidal thickness changes were disclosed in myopic choroidal neovascularization eyes, under any location. CONCLUSION Optical coherence tomography-based choroidal thickness evaluation may represent an additional useful tool to monitor inflammatory choroidal neovascularization activity. Moreover, choroidal thickness under choroidal neovascularizations could be used to discriminate the origin of choroidal neovascular membrane, either inflammatory or myopic, in doubtful cases and guide the therapeutic management.

Abstract
PURPOSE To describe a case of Acute Zika infection with ocular involvementMethods: Review of clinical recordsResults: Patient presented with sudden blurred vision in both eyes during an acute episode of zika virus infection. Ophthalmological examination revealed clinical picture of multifocal choroiditis in both eyes. Lesions improved and visual acuities returned to normal level without any treatment.Conclusion: Ocular changes in acute Zika virus infection is a rare condition. Patiens may present spontaneous recovery.

Abstract
Serpiginous choroiditis (SC) is an asymmetrically bilateral inflammation of the choroid that leads to loss of choriocapillaris atrophy or loss of overlying retinal pigment epithelium. Over the last few decades, SC has passed through a long evolution of nomenclature, etiologies and morphological variations. Initially diagnosed in patients with tuberculosis and syphilis, SC was predominantly considered as autoimmune process. With the advancement of molecular diagnosis, a new aspect of infectious subtypes of SC has emerged out. The terminologies such as serpiginous-like choroiditis (SLC) and multifocal serpiginoid choroiditis are now used to denote the subtypes of SC which are associated with infectious etiologies especially tuberculosis. In a country endemic for tuberculosis such as India, it is very important to differentiate between classic SC and SLC before initiating aggressive immunomodulatory therapy. Also, management of paradoxical worsening of the clinical condition with antitubercular treatment is another challenge in SLC and ophthalmologists should be aware of such situations. With advent of newer imaging modalities, monitoring the patient with choroiditis and identification of complications such as choroidal neovascular membrane have become much easier. This article aims to review the existing literature on SC with a special emphasis on management of SC and SLC.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe an association of unilateral multifocal choroiditis (MFC), retinal vasculitis, optic neuropathy, and bilateral keratoconus in a young Saudi male. A 27-year-old male patient with stable bilateral keratoconus presented with a painless vision loss in his left eye. Ophthalmic examinations revealed multiple foci of idiopathic chorioretinitis, retinal vasculitis, and mild optic disc leakage on fluorescein angiography, all of which resolved on systemic therapy with mycophenolate mofetil and prednisone after 3 months. Systemic medication was stopped after 8 months. One year after presentation, patient's visual acuity has improved and remained stable. Systemic immunomodulatory therapy can be effective in managing and leading to resolution of MFC, retinal vasculitis, and optic disc leak in young patients.

Abstract
Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada syndrome is a cause of noninfectious panuveitis, leading to significant vision loss in many patients. It is an autoimmune disease occurring in genetically susceptible individuals and clinically presents as bilateral panuveitis with serous retinal detachments and hyperemic, swollen optic discs, which are associated with neurological and auditory manifestations. Early diagnosis and prompt and adequate treatment with immunosuppressive agents (corticosteroids and other immunosuppressive drugs) may halt disease progression and prevent recurrences and vision loss. This review summarizes the current knowledge on the variable clinical aspects of this disease, highlighting diagnostic and treatment strategies.

Abstract
The paper describes the first reported case of multifocal choroiditis following simultaneous hepatitis-A, typhoid, and yellow fever vaccinations. A 33-year-old male developed sudden onset of flashing lights and floaters in his right eye 3 weeks following hepatitis A, typhoid, and yellow fever vaccinations. Fundus examination and angiography confirmed the presence of multiple peripheral chorioretinal lesions. These lesions demonstrated characteristic morphologic changes over a period of 8 weeks which were consistent with a diagnosis of self-resolving multifocal choroiditis. Vaccine-induced intraocular inflammation has been described infrequently. We demonstrate the first case of self-resolving multifocal choroiditis following simultaneous administration of hepatitis A, yellow fever, and typhoid immunizations.
