Abstract
Objective.Lutetium-yttrium orthosilicate (LYSO)-based Compton camera (CC) has been proposed for prompt gamma imaging due to its high detection efficiency and position resolution. However, very few LYSO CC prototypes have been built and used for practical evaluation. In this study, we built a lightweight dense-pixel silicon photomultiplier-based two-layer LYSO CC prototype for future prompt gamma imaging.Approach.We attempt the first-ever effort to use the double-encoding with the thick light guide and coding circuit structure for 46 × 46 dense-pixel LYSO detectors construction and use pixel segmentation based on centroid mapping to obtain 4232 spectral calibrations. We also present a framework for list-mode projection data acquisition based on the decoding of the time series data obtained by data acquisition card in this study. Finally, the standard source calibration, ring-like22Na source with non-uniform intensity, and mixed point-like source with a wide energy spectrum experiments were implemented to evaluate the resolution metrics and imaging performance of the prototype.Main results.The lateral position resolution of the prototype was 1 mm, and the maximum measurement deviation is 2.5 mm and 5 mm in the depth direction for the scatterer and absorber, respectively. In the experiments, the measured energy resolution was 9.63% @ 1.33 MeV for the scatterer and 10.8% @ 1.33 MeV for the absorber. And the detection efficiency of the prototype for a spherical60Co source with a diameter of 2.8 mm at 10 cm far was 5.7 × 10-3@ 1.33 MeV and the full width at half maximum of the reconstruction was 5.5 mm. Besides, the spatial position offset within 2 mm of the radioactive source at 10 cm can be distinguished.Signification.The developed two-layer dense-pixel LYSO CC contributes to incorporating Compton imaging techniques for prompt gamma detection and multiple energy sources into nuclear medical imaging.

Abstract
Background Men who have sex with men (MSM), including both gay and bisexual men, have a high prevalence of HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in China. However, healthcare seeking behaviors and engagement in clinical services among MSM are often suboptimal. Global evidence shows that embedding online HIV or sexual health services into gay social networking applications holds promise for facilitating higher rates of healthcare utilization among MSM. We developed a prototype of a gay-friendly health services platform, designed for integration within a popular gay social networking app (Blued) in China. Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the acceptability of the platform and ask for user feedback through focus group interviews with young MSM in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, cities in Southern China. Methods The prototype was developed through an open, national crowdsourcing contest. Open crowdsourcing contests solicit community input on a topic in order to identify potential improvements and implement creative solutions. The prototype included a local, gay-friendly, STI physician finder tool and online psychological consulting services. Semistructured focus group discussions were conducted with MSM to ask for their feedback on the platform, and a short survey was administered following discussions. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data in NVivo, and we developed a codebook based on the first interview. Double coding was conducted, and discrepancies were discussed with a third individual until consensus was reached. We then carried out descriptive analysis of the survey data. Results A total of 34 participants attended four focus group discussions. The mean age was 27.3 years old (SD 4.6). A total of 32 (94%) participants obtained at least university education, and 29 (85%) men had seen a doctor at least once before. Our survey results showed that 24 (71%) participants had interest in using the online health services platform and 25 (74%) thought that the system was easy to use. Qualitative data also revealed that there was a high demand for gay-friendly healthcare services which could help with care seeking. Men felt that the platform could bridge gaps in the existing HIV or STI service delivery system, specifically by identifying local gay-friendly physicians and counselors, providing access to online physician consultation and psychological counseling services, creating space for peer support, and distributing pre-exposure prophylaxis and sexual health education. Conclusions Crowdsourcing can help develop a community-centered online platform linking MSM to local gay-friendly HIV or STI services. Further research on developing social media–based platforms for MSM and evaluating the effectiveness of such platforms may be useful for improving sexual health outcomes.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Tailored communication and information provision is expected to contribute to patient-centred care (PCC) in total hip arthroplasty (THA). In previous research, three subgroups of THA patients were identified that are similar in their clinical, psychological and communication characteristics. Preliminary subgroup-specific design guidelines were also formulated. Using these insights as a starting point, a theoretical framework was developed for tailored information provision and communication using digital applications. This study aims to refine the framework as well as subgroup-specific design guidelines for digital applications. METHODS This study uses a Research through Design (RtD) approach, generating insights both from the development and evaluation of prototypes in the early design stage. Paper-based prototypes will be made for each subgroup and evaluated with patients and care providers. Semi-structured interviews are held with participants exploring their experiences with the prototype. A quasi-experiment with a non-random control cohort is used to validate the qualitative findings. Post-surgery consultations with and without prototype are videotaped and scored using a structured instrument. RESULTS A design diary will be used to summarize design decisions and considerations. Feedback from participants is analysed inductively. Adaptations in subgroup-specific guidelines will be based on comparison of verbal feedback and descriptive statistics from consultations with and without prototype. CONCLUSIONS Although mixed-method feasibility studies of digital health interventions are common, this protocol also considers the utility of the early design process and the designer's perspective for realizing PCC and tailored care.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES There is still limited understanding of how different kinds of drinker prototypes are associated with adolescent drinking. This study uses the strengths of multiple time-point diary measures (enhanced validity of alcohol use measurement) to test the predictive value of abstainer, moderate and heavy drinker prototypes in social situations. We examined whether the favorability of these prototypes (i.e., "prototype evaluation"), the perceived similarity of these prototypes to one's self-image (i.e., "prototype similarity") assessed at baseline, and their interaction predict alcohol use assessed in social situations. METHODS Drinker prototypes were assessed in a baseline sample of 599 adolescents. Subsequently, a sample of 77 alcohol-using 16 to 18-year-old males reported their Friday and Saturday evening drinking behavior the next day during eight weeks (resulting in 495 daily measures). Alcohol use was assessed in the company of peers. RESULTS The more adolescents perceived themselves as similar to heavy drinker prototypes the higher their alcohol consumption in social situations. The more adolescents held favorable abstainer prototypes, the lower their alcohol consumption. The interaction between prototype evaluation and similarity was not significant. CONCLUSIONS By using a more reliable and valid method to assess adolescents' alcohol use, the present study showed that more "extreme" drinker prototypes (i.e., heavy drinker and abstainer prototypes) are most predictive of adolescent alcohol use in social situations. Increasing the perceived dissimilarity to heavy drinker prototypes and the favorability of abstainer prototypes may therefore be important targets in interventions aimed at reducing adolescents' alcohol consumption.
