Abstract
INTRODUCTION Currently, bladder cancer detection is based on cytology and cystoscopy. White light cystoscopy (WLC) is an invasive procedure and may under-detect flat lesions. Blue light cystoscopy (BLC) and narrow band imaging (NBI) cystoscopy are new modalities that could improve the detection of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and its recurrence or progression to muscle invasive bladder cancer. We present a systematic review on BLC and NBI cystoscopy for bladder cancer diagnosis and NMIBC follow-up. MATERIAL AND METHODS All available systematic reviews and meta-analyses on cystoscopy published in PubMed® between May 2010 and March 2021 were identified and reviewed. The main endpoints were clinical performance for bladder cancer diagnosis and for recurrence or progression detection during NMIBC follow-up, and additional value compared with cytology and/or WLC. RESULTS Most of the meta-analyses and systematic reviews published suggest a better sensitivity of BLC and NBI cystoscopy compared to WLC, particularly for the detection of flat lesions (CIS). NBI- and BLC-guided TURBT could decrease the recurrence rates. However, their clinical utility to reduce progression rate and increase survival is still unclear. CONCLUSIONS BLC and NBI cystoscopy are efficient techniques for bladder cancer diagnosis and NMIBC follow-up. However, their clinical benefit remains to be confirmed.

Background
Recurrent glioblastoma (GBM) is today inevitable, even using an aggressive treatment protocol (surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy). It mostly occurs within 2 cm of the resection cavity due to the invasion ability of GBM cells. The aim of this work is to test and qualify a local integrative approach using a nano-based chemokine-cancer cell trap concept to lure the residual GBM cells by releasing chemoattractive molecules and, ultimately, confine and kill them in a biomimetic nanostructured polymeric scaffold.
Material and Methods
The stromal cell-derived factor 1α (SDF-1α) was used here as a chemoattractant due to its synergy with the CXCR4 receptor, and the correlation of this axis to the migration of infiltrating GBM cells. Freeze-dried sponges (20 to 140μm/pore size) composed of silk fibroin (SF), hyaluronic acid (HA), and heparin (hep) charged with SDF-1α was evaluated as a GBM cell trap. First, the cytocompatibility and biodegradability of the sponges were evaluated both in vitro and vivo. Secondly, molecular and functional responses of GBM cells to SDF-1α treatment were evaluated using U87MG-CXCR4+ cells, that constitutively and stably expressed both the CXCR4 receptor and RFP, as reporters. To assess the cell migration in response to the SDF-1α gradient in vitro, transwell, under-agarose, and agarose drop assays were used. U87MG-CXCR4+ spheroids were cultivated in the sponges to verify the hosting capacity of the scaffolds. Finally, syngeneic and xenogeneic models were developed to evaluate the bioperformance of the sponges in vivo.
Results
SF-HA-hep sponges presented low cytotoxicity and complete biodegradation after 4 months of implantation. Histological analysis revealed only local reaction, as an immune response in the short-term study, but no signs of acute inflammation or fibrotic process were found at the resection cavity-brain margin in the long-term study, demonstrating fine tolerability in vivo. Relevant molecules involved in chemotaxis (Akt, Erk, and Paxillin) were activated upon treatment with SDF-1α. U87MG-CXCR4+ cells were directionally attracted to the SDF-1α-loaded sponges, and also a larger neurosphere infiltration area was observed in these sponges compared to controls. Preliminary observations have shown cell clusters detached from the main tumor mass towards the cavity with the implanted SDF-1α-loaded sponge. This may be indicative of chemoattraction, as DAPI correlated with Ki67 staining in the migration front. Further analyses including CXCR4, CD44, paxillin, and galectin-1 immunolabeling will be performed to confirm this hypothesis.
Conclusion
Overall, the results showed that the sponges are biocompatible and the SDF-1α suitable to use as a chemoattractant for GBM cells. This strategy can be used to overcome the treatment resistance in GB, and potentially be transferred to the clinic in the future.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Stratifying risk of postoperative pulmonary complications after major abdominal surgery allows clinicians to modify risk through targeted interventions and enhanced monitoring. In this study, we aimed to identify and validate prognostic models against a new consensus definition of postoperative pulmonary complications. METHODS We did a systematic review and international external validation cohort study. The systematic review was done in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines. We searched MEDLINE and Embase on March 1, 2020, for articles published in English that reported on risk prediction models for postoperative pulmonary complications following abdominal surgery. External validation of existing models was done within a prospective international cohort study of adult patients (≥18 years) undergoing major abdominal surgery. Data were collected between Jan 1, 2019, and April 30, 2019, in the UK, Ireland, and Australia. Discriminative ability and prognostic accuracy summary statistics were compared between models for the 30-day postoperative pulmonary complication rate as defined by the Standardised Endpoints in Perioperative Medicine Core Outcome Measures in Perioperative and Anaesthetic Care (StEP-COMPAC). Model performance was compared using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROCC). FINDINGS In total, we identified 2903 records from our literature search; of which, 2514 (86·6%) unique records were screened, 121 (4·8%) of 2514 full texts were assessed for eligibility, and 29 unique prognostic models were identified. Nine (31·0%) of 29 models had score development reported only, 19 (65·5%) had undergone internal validation, and only four (13·8%) had been externally validated. Data to validate six eligible models were collected in the international external validation cohort study. Data from 11 591 patients were available, with an overall postoperative pulmonary complication rate of 7·8% (n=903). None of the six models showed good discrimination (defined as AUROCC ≥0·70) for identifying postoperative pulmonary complications, with the Assess Respiratory Risk in Surgical Patients in Catalonia score showing the best discrimination (AUROCC 0·700 [95% CI 0·683-0·717]). INTERPRETATION In the pre-COVID-19 pandemic data, variability in the risk of pulmonary complications (StEP-COMPAC definition) following major abdominal surgery was poorly described by existing prognostication tools. To improve surgical safety during the COVID-19 pandemic recovery and beyond, novel risk stratification tools are required. FUNDING British Journal of Surgery Society.

Abstract
Background:Tolerogenic ImmTOR biodegradable nanoparticles encapsulating rapamycin have been shown to mitigate the formation of anti-drug antibodies against pegadricase, a pegylated uricase enzyme, which enabled monthly dosing and sustained reduction of serum uric acid levels in a Phase 2 clinical trial of SEL-212, a combination of pegadricase + ImmTOR, in patients with symptomatic gout with hyperuricemia. Prior mechanism of action studies showed selective biodistribution of ImmTOR to the spleen and liver following intravenous (IV) administration in mice. In the spleen, ImmTOR has been demonstrated to induce tolerogenic dendritic cells and antigen-specific regulatory T cells and inhibit antigen-specific B cell activation. Splenectomized mice showed a partial but incomplete abrogation of the tolerogenic immune response mediated by ImmTOR.Objectives:Here we evaluated the ability of ImmTOR to enhance the tolerogenic environment in the liver.Results:All the major resident populations of liver cells, including liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs), Kupffer cells (KC), stellate cells (SC), and hepatocytes, actively took up fluorescent-labeled ImmTOR particles, which resulted in downregulation of MHC class II and co-stimulatory molecules and upregulation of the PD-L1 checkpoint molecule. The LSEC, known to play an important role in hepatic tolerance induction, emerged as a key target cell for ImmTOR. The tolerogenic environment led to a multi-pronged modulation of hepatic T cell populations, resulting in an increase in T cells with a regulatory phenotype, upregulation of PD-1 on CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, and the emergence of a large population of CD4–CD8– (double negative) T cell population. Modulation of T cell phenotype was seen to a lesser extent after administration by empty nanoparticles, but not free rapamycin. Abstract
Abstract
Infection with SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus responsible for the current COVID-19 pandemic, results in a wide range of pathologies from asymptomatic/mild outcome to fulminant pneumonia and progression to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). The cellular mechanisms underlying this spectrum of disease remain unknown. We investigated the dynamic changes in frequency and activation status of peripheral innate lymphocyte subsets in two different species of nonhuman primates. Cohorts of Rhesus macaques (n=8) and African Green monkeys (n=8) were infected with SARS-CoV-2 either by small particle or mucosal (IN/IT) route. Flow cytometric analysis of PBMCs revealed a rapid and significant increase in circulating γδ T cell frequencies and activation at d1 postexposure across all animals inoculated by aerosol, which was correlative with peak viral loads in lung lavage and Vδ2 T cell frequencies. Further, elevated GranzymeB expression in both Vδ1 and Vδ2 subsets of γδ T cells was suggestive of increased cytotoxic function in early infection. In contrast, mucosally-infected animals showed little change in circulating γδ T cell frequencies from d1 through d7 post-infection, nor were there remarkable differences in early MAIT and NK cell frequencies. Collectively, these data suggest γδ T cells may be early responders to deep lung SARS-CoV-2 infection and the kinetics and quality of immune response are dependent upon route of exposure despite resulting in similar peak viral loads from infection. Further understanding of γδ T cell functions within the pulmonary compartment during SARS-CoV-2-driven acute inflammation may reveal tractable therapeutic approaches to further mitigate ARDS-like responses in COVID-19 patients.

Abstract
SARS‐CoV‐2 infection impacts multiple organ systems, including the central nervous system (CNS). Multiple reports have described a variety of neurological manifestations associated with infection that may contribute to worsening COVID‐19. The neuropathology of SARS‐CoV‐2 is not well understood, necessitating the development of relevant animal models for investigation. Here, we report marked neuropathology but with limited virus in the CNS of two non‐human primate models (NHPs) of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection. Adult male and female purpose‐bred Rhesus macaques (RMs; n = 4) and wild‐caught African green monkeys (AGMs; n = 4) were inoculated with the 2019‐nCoV/USA‐WA1/2020 strain of SARS‐CoV‐2 via multi‐route mucosal or aerosol challenge. SARS‐CoV‐2 nucleocapsid (SARS‐N) mRNA was detected in nasal swabs within the first week of inoculation, demonstrating infection of all study animals. All animals were euthanized at the study endpoint of 4 weeks post‐inoculation, with the exception of two AGMs that reached humane endpoints at 8‐ and 22‐days post‐challenge. Seven regions of the CNS were investigated for pathology and virus infection. Archival brain tissues from two non‐infected adult female RMs were used as aged‐matched controls. Mild, but chronic, hypoxemia with impaired gas exchange were suggested by SpO2 values that stayed at or below 95% and elevated blood CO2 in the majority of the study animals. Neuroinflammation was seen throughout the brain and brainstem but with limited virus detection by immunohistochemistry and RNAscope of fixed tissues and viral RNA detection using a highly sensitive CRISPR‐fluorescent detection system on RNA extracted from sectioned brain lysates. In addition, neuronal injury and death were suggested by pyknotic and karyolytic nuclei and cellular blebbing. Limited myelin vacuolation was revealed in two infected animals through Luxol Fast Blue staining. Neuronal cleaved caspase 3 positivity was seen at a greater frequency in infected animals compared to controls, suggesting increased apoptosis in infection. Microhemorrhages were larger and more frequent among infected NHPs, as compared to controls. Neuroinflammation, neuronal injury and death, and microhemorrhages were seen in animals that did not develop severe respiratory disease and may suggest neuropathology contributes to on‐going symptoms of convalesced patients. Our findings in NHPs are in agreement with human autopsy and neuroimaging studies and demonstrate this is a relevant animal model for investigating neuropathological changes associated with COVID‐19. Our results also suggest that hypoxic‐ischemic events leading to energy failure and neuronal injury, contribute to the neuropathological consequences of COVID‐19. Further studies are warranted to elucidate the mechanisms of SARS‐CoV‐2 neuropathogenesis.

Abstract
The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and associated coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) has brought farmers and farmworkers the designation of "essential", while placing them into heightened vulnerability for the disease. Many factors diminish access to education and prevention technologies emerging to combat COVID-19. For farmers, advanced age and rural location play a part. Farmworkers encounter numerous additional barriers including language and cultural differences, socioeconomic pressures, and immigration status. The unusual persistence and multiple transmission pathways of SARS-CoV-2 emerging from ongoing scientific study require customization of otherwise standard prevention messaging to farmers and farmworkers to prevent infection and disease exacerbation. AgriSafe Network and Migrant Clinicians Network, both national organizations and major stakeholders in agricultural health, are on the front lines of translating science into practical prevention strategies for those providing health services to farmworkers and farmers. The partnerships pursued provide a blueprint for quickly translating emerging disease ecology to support the health of agricultural populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine whether planned caesarean section (CS) for a second delivery protects against anal incontinence in women with obstetric anal sphincter lesions. DESIGN Randomised trial. SETTING Six maternity units in the Paris area. SAMPLE Women at high risk of sphincter lesions (first delivery with third-degree laceration and/or forceps) but no symptomatic anal incontinence. METHODS Endoanal ultrasound was performed in the third trimester of the second pregnancy. Women with sphincter lesions were randomised to planned CS or vaginal delivery (VD). MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES Anal incontinence at 6 months postpartum. Secondary outcomes were urinary incontinence, sexual morbidity, maternal and neonatal morbidities and worsening of external sphincter lesions. RESULTS Anal sphincter lesions were detected by ultrasound in 264/434 women enrolled (60.8%); 112 were randomised to planned VD and 110 to planned CS. At 6-8 weeks after delivery, there was no significant difference in anal continence between the two groups. At 6 months after delivery, median Vaizey scores of anal incontinence were 1 (interquartile range 0-4) in the CS group and 1 (interquartile range 0-3) in the VD group (P = 0.34). There were no significant differences for urinary continence, sexual functions or for other maternal and neonatal morbidities. CONCLUSIONS In women with asymptomatic obstetric anal sphincter lesions diagnosed by ultrasound, planning a CS had no significant impact on anal continence 6 months after the second delivery. These results do not support advising systematic CS for this indication. TWEETABLE ABSTRACT Caesarean section for the second delivery did not protect against anal incontinence in women with asymptomatic obstetric anal sphincter lesions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aimed to determine the impact of preoperative exposure to intravenous contrast for CT and the risk of developing postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients undergoing major gastrointestinal surgery. METHODS This prospective, multicentre cohort study included adults undergoing gastrointestinal resection, stoma reversal or liver resection. Both elective and emergency procedures were included. Preoperative exposure to intravenous contrast was defined as exposure to contrast administered for the purposes of CT up to 7 days before surgery. The primary endpoint was the rate of AKI within 7 days. Propensity score-matched models were adjusted for patient, disease and operative variables. In a sensitivity analysis, a propensity score-matched model explored the association between preoperative exposure to contrast and AKI in the first 48 h after surgery. RESULTS A total of 5378 patients were included across 173 centres. Overall, 1249 patients (23·2 per cent) received intravenous contrast. The overall rate of AKI within 7 days of surgery was 13·4 per cent (718 of 5378). In the propensity score-matched model, preoperative exposure to contrast was not associated with AKI within 7 days (odds ratio (OR) 0·95, 95 per cent c.i. 0·73 to 1·21; P = 0·669). The sensitivity analysis showed no association between preoperative contrast administration and AKI within 48 h after operation (OR 1·09, 0·84 to 1·41; P = 0·498). CONCLUSION There was no association between preoperative intravenous contrast administered for CT up to 7 days before surgery and postoperative AKI. Risk of contrast-induced nephropathy should not be used as a reason to avoid contrast-enhanced CT.

Abstract
AIM To assess the value and efficacy of real-time shear-wave elastography (SWE) of normal testicular parenchyma and various common testicular diseases in clinical practice. MATERIALS AND METHODS SWE was undertaken in 338 patients (mean age: 43.2±17.2 years, range 17-78 years) comprising normal testicles (n = 358), testicular microlithiasis (n = 40), and various testicular diseases (n = 208) and the stiffness was recorded. The final diagnosis was correlated with the clinical context, long-term follow-up, or histopathology. Statistical evaluation was performed to provide a stiffness threshold for pathological diagnosis. RESULTS The mean size of testicular lesions was 2.6±1.5 cm (range: 10-42 mm). The mean Young's modulus value for normal testis was recorded at 4.55±2.54 kPa. Whatever the stage of microlithiasis, a higher statistically significant stiffness value was recorded. For acute orchitis, the mean stiffness value was slightly higher, but not statistically significantly. The testicular tumoural processes presented a median stiffness value of 21.02 kPa with a cut-off of 16.1 kPa. Fibrosis presented the highest median stiffness value of 30.03 kPa with a cut-off of 26.3 kPa. By analysing the distribution of the different pathological groups, the difference was statistically significant between fibrosis and tumoural processes (p = 0.001). CONCLUSION SWE is a feasible technique in the exploration of the testicular parenchyma. SWE values can be used to differentiate testicular fibrosis from a tumoural process with confidence.

Background
Right ventricle (RV) strain has emerged as an accurate and sensitive tool for RV function assessment and is a powerful predictor of survival in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. The impact of impaired RV strain on prognosis of HFpEF patients however, remains unclear.
Purpose
We sought to analyze RV global longitudinal strain (RV-GLS) by 2D speckle tracking echocardiography (STE) in controls and HFpEF patients and determine its prognostic value.
Methods
Between January 2015 and June 2017, we prospectively enrolled 163 consecutive patients with HFpEF (78±9 years, 62% women) and 27 age and sex matched controls (76±5 years, 67% women). All patients underwent complete 2D echography. Myocardial deformation was assessed on a dedicated four chambers view, with a speckle tracking software. Due to poor tracking quality, RV-GLS could not be analyzed in 14 patients (7.4%). Impaired RV-GLS was defined as a GLS above −17.5% corresponding to the mean + 2 SD of age and sex matched controls. HFpEF patients were followed up for a combined outcome of all-cause mortality and first HF hospitalization.
Results
Mean RV-GLS was significantly altered in HFpEF patients compared to controls (−21.7±4.9% vs −25.9±4.2%; p<0.001). 28 HFpEF patients (19%) had an impaired RV-GLS.
During a mean follow-up of 19±9months, 73 HFpEF patients (49%) reached the combined outcome (15 all cause deaths and 58 first HF hospitalization). In univariate Cox regression analysis, loop diuretic medication (HR 1.92 [1.10–3.32], p=0.021), low hemoglobin (HR 0.85 [0.75–0.97], p=0.013), low eGFR (HR 0.97 [0.96–0.99], p<0.001), E wave velocity (HR 1.01 [1.00–1.02], p<0.001), septal E/e' (HR 1.03 [1.00–1.05], p=0.011) and impaired RV-GLS (HR 2.01 [1.19–3.40], p=0.009) were significantly associated with worse prognosis.
In multivariate Cox analysis, hemoglobin levels (HR 0.83 [0.72–0.96], p=0.01), eGFR (HR 0.98 [0.97–0.99]; p=0.009) and impaired RV-GLS (HR 2.48 [1.38–4.44], p=0.002), were independent predictors of the combined outcome. Kaplan-Meier event free survival curves show that HFpEF patients with RV-GLS above −17.5% had worse prognosis than those with better myocardial deformation (p=0.009, Figure).
Conclusions
RV-GLS is significantly different between controls and HFpEF patients. In HFpEF, impaired RV-GLS is associated with worse prognosis.

Abstract
Angular correlations between heavy-flavor decay electrons and charged particles at midrapidity (|η|<0.8) are measured in p-Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV. The analysis is carried out for the 0%-20% (high) and 60%-100% (low) multiplicity ranges. The jet contribution in the correlation distribution from high-multiplicity events is removed by subtracting the distribution from low-multiplicity events. An azimuthal modulation remains after removing the jet contribution, similar to previous observations in two-particle angular correlation measurements for light-flavor hadrons. A Fourier decomposition of the modulation results in a positive second-order coefficient (v_{2}) for heavy-flavor decay electrons in the transverse momentum interval 1.5<p_{T}<4 GeV/c in high-multiplicity events, with a significance larger than 5σ. The results are compared with those of charged particles at midrapidity and those of inclusive muons at forward rapidity. The v_{2} measurement of open heavy-flavor particles at midrapidity in small collision systems could provide crucial information to help interpret the anisotropies observed in such systems.

Abstract
PURPOSE To qualitatively and quantitatively compare unenhanced ultra-low-dose chest computed tomography (ULD-CT) acquired at 80kVp and 135kVp. MATERIALS AND METHODS Fifty-one patients referred for unenhanced chest CT were prospectively included. There were 29 men and 22 women, with a mean age of 64.7±11.6 (SD) years (range: 35-91 years) and a mean body mass index of 26.2±6.3 (SD) (range: 17-54.9). All patients underwent two different ULD-CT protocols (80kVp-40mA and 135kVp-10mA). Image quality of both ULD-CT examinations using a 5-level scale as well as assessability of 6 predetermined lung parenchyma lesions were blindly evaluated by three radiologists and compared using a logistic regression model. Image noise of the two protocols was compared with Wilcoxon signed-rank test. RESULTS The mean dose-length product at 80kVp and at 135kVp were 14.7±1.8 (SD) mGy.cm and 15.6±1.9 (SD) mGy.cm, respectively (P<0.001). Image noise was significantly lower at 135kVp (58.9±12.4) than at 80kVp (74.7±14.5) (P<0.001). For all readers and for all examinations, the 135kVp protocol yielded better image quality than 80kVp protocol, with a mean qualitative score of 4.5±0.7 versus 3.9±0.8 (P<0.001). The 135kVp protocol was significantly more often of diagnostic quality than the 80kvp protocol (92.3% versus 77.8%, respectively) (P<0.001) and was less prone to image quality deterioration in obese patients. Parenchymal lesions were never better depicted on the 80kVp protocol than with the 135kVp protocol. CONCLUSION Unenhanced chest ULD-CT should be acquired at a high kilovoltage and low current, such as 135kVp-10mA, over a low kilovoltage and high current protocol.

Abstract
The azimuthal anisotropy coefficient v_{2} of prompt D^{0}, D^{+}, D^{*+}, and D_{s}^{+} mesons was measured in midcentral (30%-50% centrality class) Pb-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV, with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The D mesons were reconstructed via their hadronic decays at midrapidity, |y|<0.8, in the transverse momentum interval 1<p_{T}<24 GeV/c. The measured D-meson v_{2} has similar values as that of charged pions. The D_{s}^{+} v_{2}, measured for the first time, is found to be compatible with that of nonstrange D mesons. The measurements are compared with theoretical calculations of charm-quark transport in a hydrodynamically expanding medium and have the potential to constrain medium parameters.

Abstract
Pyoderma gangrenosum (pg) is a rare neutrophilic dermatosis characterized by painful necrotic ulceration affecting preferentially the lower extremities. Diagnosis is challenging, and a thorough workup (including biopsy) is required. In this case report, we describe a 67-year-old patient with a diagnosis of myelodysplastic syndrome (mds) who developed fever and pg two days after the first cycle of subcutaneous azacitidine (Vidaza; Celgene Corporation, Summit, NJ, USA). On physical examination, the patient had four erythematous plaques at sites of subcutaneous injections of azacitidine on the arms, as well as three other plaques in proximity. A skin biopsy demonstrated a dense neutrophilic interstitial infiltrate in the dermis. After the diagnosis of pg, prednisone 1 mg/kg was started and the fever subsided rapidly. This was followed by the resolution of the cutaneous lesions. Changing the route of administration of azacitidine from subcutaneous to intravenous and adding a daily dose of prednisone during the treatment allowed the patient to receive a total of 10 cycles of azacitidine. This is the second case reported in the literature. Because azacitidine is frequently used in mds and acute myeloid leukemia, clinicians should be aware of this rare cutaneous adverse event. Our approach can be used to avoid the recurrence of pg when continuing azacitidine treatment.

Abstract
As an alternative to applying the hydrothermal treatment to the raw algal feedstock before the anaerobic digestion (i.e. pre-treatment), one considered a post-treatment scenario where anaerobic digestion is directly used as the primary treatment while the hydrothermal treatment is thereafter applied to the digestate. Hydrothermal treatments such as wet oxidation (WetOx) and hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) were compared at a temperature of 200°C, for initial pressure of 0.1 and 0.82MPa, and no holding time after the process had reached the temperature setpoint. Both WetOx and HTC resulted in a substantial solids conversion (47-62% with HTC, 64-83% with WetOx, both at 0.82MPa) into soluble products, while some total chemical oxygen demand-based carbon loss from the solid-liquid phases was observed (20-39%). This generated high soluble products concentrations (from 6.2 to 10.9g soluble chemical oxygen demand/L). Biomethane potential tests showed that these hydrothermal treatments allowed for a 4-fold improvement of the digestate anaerobic biodegradability. The hydrothermal treatments increased the methane yield to about 200 LSTP CH4/kg volatile solids, when related to the untreated digestate, compared to 66 LSTP CH4/kg volatile solids, without treatment.

Abstract
We report a precise measurement of the J/ψ elliptic flow in Pb-Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The J/ψ mesons are reconstructed at midrapidity (|y|<0.9) in the dielectron decay channel and at forward rapidity (2.5<y<4.0) in the dimuon channel, both down to zero transverse momentum. At forward rapidity, the elliptic flow v_{2} of the J/ψ is studied as a function of the transverse momentum and centrality. A positive v_{2} is observed in the transverse momentum range 2<p_{T}<8 GeV/c in the three centrality classes studied and confirms with higher statistics our earlier results at sqrt[s_{NN}]=2.76 TeV in semicentral collisions. At midrapidity, the J/ψ v_{2} is investigated as a function of the transverse momentum in semicentral collisions and found to be in agreement with the measurements at forward rapidity. These results are compared to transport model calculations. The comparison supports the idea that at low p_{T} the elliptic flow of the J/ψ originates from the thermalization of charm quarks in the deconfined medium but suggests that additional mechanisms might be missing in the models.

Abstract
The measurement of two-particle angular correlations is a powerful tool to study jet quenching in a p_{T} region inaccessible by direct jet identification. In these measurements pseudorapidity (Δη) and azimuthal (Δφ) differences are used to extract the shape of the near-side peak formed by particles associated with a higher p_{T} trigger particle (1<p_{T,trig}<8 GeV/c). A combined fit of the near-side peak and long-range correlations is applied to the data allowing the extraction of the centrality evolution of the peak shape in Pb-Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=2.76 TeV. A significant broadening of the peak in the Δη direction at low p_{T} is found from peripheral to central collisions, which vanishes above 4 GeV/c, while in the Δφ direction the peak is almost independent of centrality. For the 10% most central collisions and 1<p_{T,assoc}<2 GeV/c, 1<p_{T,trig}<3 GeV/c a novel feature is observed: a depletion develops around the center of the peak. The results are compared to pp collisions at the same center of mass energy and ampt model simulations. The comparison to the investigated models suggests that the broadening and the development of the depletion is connected to the strength of radial and longitudinal flow.

Abstract
We present results on transverse momentum ([Formula: see text]) and rapidity ([Formula: see text]) differential production cross sections, mean transverse momentum and mean transverse momentum square of inclusive [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] at forward rapidity ([Formula: see text]) as well as [Formula: see text]-to-[Formula: see text] cross section ratios. These quantities are measured in pp collisions at center of mass energies [Formula: see text] and 13 TeV with the ALICE detector. Both charmonium states are reconstructed in the dimuon decay channel, using the muon spectrometer. A comprehensive comparison to inclusive charmonium cross sections measured at [Formula: see text], 7 and 8 TeV is performed. A comparison to non-relativistic quantum chromodynamics and fixed-order next-to-leading logarithm calculations, which describe prompt and non-prompt charmonium production respectively, is also presented. A good description of the data is obtained over the full [Formula: see text] range, provided that both contributions are summed. In particular, it is found that for [Formula: see text] GeV/c the non-prompt contribution reaches up to 50% of the total charmonium yield.

Abstract
The transverse momentum distributions of the strange and double-strange hyperon resonances (Σ ( 1385 ) ± , Ξ ( 1530 ) 0 ) produced in p-Pb collisions at s NN = 5.02 TeV were measured in the rapidity range - 0.5 < y CMS < 0 for event classes corresponding to different charged-particle multiplicity densities, ⟨ dN ch /dη lab ⟩ . The mean transverse momentum values are presented as a function of ⟨ dN ch /dη lab ⟩ , as well as a function of the particle masses and compared with previous results on hyperon production. The integrated yield ratios of excited to ground-state hyperons are constant as a function of ⟨ dN ch /dη lab ⟩ . The equivalent ratios to pions exhibit an increase with ⟨ dN ch /dη lab ⟩ , depending on their strangeness content.

Abstract
The invariant differential cross sections for inclusive [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] mesons at midrapidity were measured in pp collisions at [Formula: see text] TeV for transverse momenta [Formula: see text] GeV/c and [Formula: see text] GeV/c, respectively, using the ALICE detector. This large range in [Formula: see text] was achieved by combining various analysis techniques and different triggers involving the electromagnetic calorimeter (EMCal). In particular, a new single-cluster, shower-shape based method was developed for the identification of high-[Formula: see text] neutral pions, which exploits that the showers originating from their decay photons overlap in the EMCal. Above 4 GeV/[Formula: see text], the measured cross sections are found to exhibit a similar power-law behavior with an exponent of about 6.3. Next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculations differ from the measured cross sections by about 30% for the [Formula: see text], and between 30-50% for the [Formula: see text] meson, while generator-level simulations with PYTHIA 8.2 describe the data to better than 10-30%, except at [Formula: see text] GeV/[Formula: see text]. The new data can therefore be used to further improve the theoretical description of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] meson production.
