Abstract
In this study, highly efficient Fe/Bi bimetallic magnetic nanooxides (IBBMNOs) were used as adsorbent for the removal of Cr(VI) from an aqueous environment. The IBBMNOs were synthesized by a simple and facile chemical reduction method. After that, different analytical techniques were used to characterize the resultant nanomaterial. According to characterization results, the IBBMNOs are highly porous look like cotton beads with an average size of 60-69 nm. BET results show that IBBMNOs are highly porous with a high surface area. After optimizing different parameters such as pH, adsorbent dose, and time study, an excellent adsorption capacity was achieved up to 185 mg/g in 10 min. The calculated data of the adsorption process was well fitted with Langmuir and pseudo-first-order kinetic model. The prepared materials have good usability as compared to reported adsorbent materials can be used for five different cycles with good removal efficiency of chromium ion from aqueous samples. Schematic illustration of adsorption of Cr(VI) from aqueous solution by IBBMNOs.

Abstract
Efficient nanocatalyst with incredible performance is highly demanding in a heterogeneous catalysis system. Herein, we report the facile fabrication of uniform and highly stable Cerium Oxide nanoparticles (CeO2 NPs), through chemical precipitation method using sodium hydroxide as reducing agent. The synthesized material is characterized through highly sophisticated techniques including UV-Visible, FT-IR, SEM, AFM, XRD, and Zeta Sizer- Potential to check the particle formation, surface morphology, topography, crystalline nature, size, and surface potential. The heterogeneous catalytic performance of CeO2 NPs has been accomplished for the reduction of 2-nitroaniline from the aqueous media. The CeO2 nanocatalyst displayed excellent reusability, while the reduction in several repetitive catalytic cycles against 2-nitroaniline under optimized conditions. The CeO2 nanocatalyst shows 99.12% efficiency within 60s reaction time under a greener source of microwave radiation.

Abstract
In this study, differently coated superparamagnetic Fe3O4 (magnetite) nanoparticles were synthesized, characterized and used for lysozyme (Ly) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) adsorption. SiO2, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene were used for covering the readily synthesized magnetite nanoparticles to elucidate the effect of cover layer on the protein adsorption kinetics and capacities of nanostructure. XRD, FTIR, AFM, SEM, VSM and fluorescence measurements were used for the characterization of the samples and investigating the adsorption kinetics of Ly and BSA by these nanoparticles. The average particle size of the Fe3O4 nanoparticles are approximately found as 10nm and VSM measurement shows that the Fe3O4 particles have superparamagnetic behavior with no hysteresis and remnant. The adsorption kinetic of proteins on nanosized material is followed via fluorescence method. All the nanostructures with different cover layers obey pseudo first order kinetics and SiO2 coated nanoparticles show the fastest kinetics and capabilities for Ly and BSA adsorption.

Abstract
Herein, we report the fabrication and characterization of Camphor Sulfonic Acid (CSA) doped Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) nanofilms prepared at different substrate temperature on glass by simple wire bar coating method. Spectroscopic, optic, structural and electrical properties of the prepared nanofilms were characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM), UV-Visible spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, NKD spectroscopy, SEM and DC electrical measurements. The detailed electrical characterizations revealed that the conductivity of the P3HT nanofilms increased when the films are doped with CSA and the conductivity increased from 5.89×10⁻⁵ S/cm to 1.39 × 10⁻⁴ S/cm for 40 °C preparation temperature. Thus, it was confirmed that the substrate temperature plays an important role on the film structure and spectroscopic properties. Additionally CSA-doping changes the optical properties, especially when the films prepared at 40 °C.

Abstract
In this study, we synthesized the new kinds of semiconducting polymeric gels having negative (n-type) and positive (p-type) counter ions as charge carriers. The polyacrylamide gel was doped with pyranine (8-hydroxypyrene-1,3,6-trisulfonic acid, trisodium salt), having SO(3)(-) ions as side groups and Na(+) as counter ions, so-called p-type semiconducting gel. The doping process was performed during the polymerization where the pyranine binds to the polymer strands over OH group chemically via radical addition. In a similar way, N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPA) gel was doped with methacrylamidopropyltrimethyl ammonium chloride (MAPTAC), having Cl(-) as counter ions, so-called n-type semiconducting gel. Here MAPTAC was embedded by copolymerization within the polymer network (NIPA). These semiconducting gels can show different electrical properties by changing the concentration of the doping agents, swelling ratio etc. We have shown that the pn junction, formed by combining p-type and n-type gels together in close contact, rectifies the current similar to the conventional Si and Ge diodes.

Abstract
Real-time fluorescence measurements have been developed for measuring the fractal dimension d_{f} and critical exponents gamma and beta simultaneously during the sol-gel transition of acrylamide bisacrylamide cross-linking copolymerization. We observed that d_{f} passes through a minimum value of approximately 2.5 at a critical time t_{c} and crossover to 3 above it. The exponents gamma and beta , measured at t_{c} , were found to be around 1.8 and 0.45, respectively. All parameters d_{f} , beta , and gamma measured at the critical point t_{c} agree with three-dimensional percolation results.
