Abstract
BACKGROUND White coat effect (WCE) and white coat hypertension (WCH) are hardly both compared in primary care. OBJECTIVE To assess the usefulness of repeated measures of systolic blood pressure (SBP) to dissociate various forms of white-coat interactions. METHODS An open cross-sectional study on consecutive patients treated or not for high blood pressure was made in family physicians' offices. SBP was measured 5 times by an electronic device. Measurements were performed before (SBP1) and after (SBP5) the office visit by a lay assistant and at the beginning (SBP2), middle (SBP3) and end (SBP4) of visit, by the family physician. Home BP (HBPM) was measured from 3 consecutive days by the patient. WCE and office WCE tail (OWCET) were defined, respectively, as a 10 mmHg SBP increase or decrease between SBP2-SBP1 or SBP4-SBP2. WCH was considered when HBPM was normal (SBP < 135 mmHg) at home and high during the SBP2 office visit. RESULTS Two hundred five patients (134 women versus 71 men, ratio 1.9, aged 59.8±15.7 years) were recruited. In categorical terms, there were 51 patients (25%) who presented with WCE, OWCET was seen in 121 patients (62%) and 47 patients (23%) had WCH. Only 36 patients (18%) presented both OWCET and WCE and 32 (16%) had both OWCET and WCH. The receiver operating characteristic curves (ROCs) of OWCET in diagnosing WCE or WCH were respectively 0.67 (p<0.0001) and 0.53 (NS). CONCLUSION Thus, OWCET was predictive of WCE and not of WCH and it is worthwhile to be measured in the family physician office.

Abstract
Spontaneous reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) is the cornerstone of pharmacovigilance. However, major underreporting exists. The main objective of this study was to assess the use of a pharmacovigilance simplified reporting tool (PSRT) by general practitioners (GPs) and, secondarily, to describe the quality of ADR reports during this period. The PSRT was proposed on June 1st, 2015, for the 1290 GPs in the Western Normandy Region. The number and quality of ADRs reported monthly by GPs were prospectively collected from June 1st, 2015, to May 31st, 2020 (Period 2), and compared to those reported during a control period (June 1st, 2010, to May 31st, 2015, Period 1). During all the periods, 920 reports were made by 307 GPs (198 reports in Period 1 and 722 reports in Period 2), with 477 reports (51.8%) using the PSRT. During Period 2, the monthly number of reports was multiplied by 3.5 (p < 0.0001), and the number of GPs was 1.4 compared to that in Period 1 (p = 0.01). Our PSRT showed effectiveness in quantitative and qualitative terms. It must now go further and be integrated into GP software to facilitate ADR reporting nationwide.

Abstract
Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the Bartholin's gland (ACCBG) is a rare, slowly but aggressive malignancy. We reported the case of a 31-year-old woman who was treated by local excision and then hemi-vulvectomy, with positive margins and perineural invasion. Radiation therapy (RT) was then performed delivering 45Gy in 25 fractions in bilateral inguinal lymph nodes and 64.8Gy in 36 fractions on the vulvar area. After 30 months, there was no local relapse (LR) but the patient presented a histologically documented lung recurrence. Genomic profiling of the tumor showed a MYB-NFIB fusion transcript and a somatic mutation of PLCG1. A treatment by Lenvatinib was started. We conducted a literature review of 100 published cases. Patients were mainly treated by radical vulvectomy (30%), hemi-vulvectomy (17%), wide or local excision (21% and 24%, respectively) or other. Forty-four percent of patients received postoperative RT, more frequently in case of positive margin (71.9% versus 29.5%). RT may reduce the risk of LR regardless of margin status, with 15.4% vs. 41.9% of LR with or without RT, respectively, in patients with negative margins, and 13% vs. 33.3% of LR with or without RT, respectively, in patients with positive margins. The risk of relapse of any type was 40.9% in patients who received adjuvant RT vs. 48.2% in patients who did not. Median time to relapse was 24 months (range 6-156 months). The most frequent metastatic sites were lung (76.7%) and bone (26.7%). Optimal treatment for ACCBG is still not clearly defined but pooling the data from published case report help us better understand this rare disease and help in the therapeutic decision.

Abstract
BackgroundDevelopment of Tumor Necrosis Factor blockers (TNFb) whose drug class has several mechanistic and pharmacologic sub-classes, have improved the management of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including sarcoidosis. With their increasing use, paradoxical reactions are described and one of the most frequent is sarcoidosis. However, the description of TNFb-induced sarcoidosis (TIS) remains poor, because reported in few and only short case-series.ObjectivesWe aimed to better describe the clinical spectrum of TIS, and the differential involvement of TNFb sub-classes.MethodsFrench pharmacovigilance database was used to collect data on TIS, excluding patients with previous idiopathic sarcoidosis. Statistical analyses were performed using the Mann-Whitney test for quantitative data and Fisher test for qualitative data. A p value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.ResultsData were obtained from 2002 to 2019 for infliximab, adalimumab, golimumab, certolizumab and etanercept. Thirty-one TIS patients were collected from the database, including 12 women (38.7%). In most cases, TNFb was introduced for ankylosing spondylitis (58%), psoriasis (19.3%) or rheumatoid arthritis (16.1%). Median age at TIS occurrence was 54 [43.5; 61.5] years, with a median time to onset of 24 [6.0; 72.0] months. The most frequent involved TNFb was etanercept (n=21, 67.8%). The two mains clinical TIS manifestations were lymph node (n=27, 87.1%) and lung involvement (n=16, 51.6%). The culprit drug was discontinued in 26 (84%) patients, and a double-barreled inflammatory gun to control both initial and induced disorders was proposed in 19 of them (90.5 %), mostly glucocorticoids (n=13, 68.4%) alone or combined with methotrexate (n=3, 15,8%). Among the 14 patients with the available data, the TIS had completely resolved in 11 (78.6%); for all these lasts, the TNFb was discontinued. No significant differences were observed between the TNFb sub-classes of monoclonal antibodies or fusion proteins, regarding clinical presentation, median time to onset or outcome.ConclusionThis second largest case-series shows that TIS are mostly encountered with etanercept, but without any difference in clinical or prognostic implications with the other TNFb-subclasses.References[1]Aggarwal BB, Gupta SC, Kim JH. Abstract
Electrically charged particles can be created by the decay of strong enough electric fields, a phenomenon known as the Schwinger mechanism1. By electromagnetic duality, a sufficiently strong magnetic field would similarly produce magnetic monopoles, if they exist2. Magnetic monopoles are hypothetical fundamental particles that are predicted by several theories beyond the standard model3-7 but have never been experimentally detected. Searching for the existence of magnetic monopoles via the Schwinger mechanism has not yet been attempted, but it is advantageous, owing to the possibility of calculating its rate through semi-classical techniques without perturbation theory, as well as that the production of the magnetic monopoles should be enhanced by their finite size8,9 and strong coupling to photons2,10. Here we present a search for magnetic monopole production by the Schwinger mechanism in Pb-Pb heavy ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider, producing the strongest known magnetic fields in the current Universe11. It was conducted by the MoEDAL experiment, whose trapping detectors were exposed to 0.235 per nanobarn, or approximately 1.8 × 109, of Pb-Pb collisions with 5.02-teraelectronvolt center-of-mass energy per collision in November 2018. A superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer scanned the trapping detectors of MoEDAL for the presence of magnetic charge, which would induce a persistent current in the SQUID. Magnetic monopoles with integer Dirac charges of 1, 2 and 3 and masses up to 75 gigaelectronvolts per speed of light squared were excluded by the analysis at the 95% confidence level. This provides a lower mass limit for finite-size magnetic monopoles from a collider search and greatly extends previous mass bounds.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE We have previously shown that epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) and its treatments have negative effects on long-term quality of life (QoL) and fatigue. The present multicenter study investigated the main menopausal symptoms and gynecological management of EOC survivors (EOCS). METHODS 166 patients with relapse-free ≥3 years after the end of treatment attended a consultation with a gynecologist, including a questionnaire related to vasomotor symptoms (VMS) and sexuality, a clinical examination, a blood sample and an osteodensitometry. QoL, fatigue, insomnia and mood disorders were measured with validated questionnaires and correlated to VMS. VMS and QoL were assessed according to natural menopause (NM) or surgical menopause (SM). RESULTS Mean age at the survey was 62 [21-83] years and stage III/IV (48%). Mean delay since the end of treatment was 6 years. Fifty-nine patients (36%) had SM. Half of patients reported VMS. Seventy-two percent of EOCS with SM had VMS compared to 41% with NM (P < .001). VMS were not associated with poor global QoL, fatigue, insomnia or mood disorders. Two-thirds of EOCS reported a decrease in libido. Patients with SM showed a greater decrease in libido than NM (P < .02). Fourteen percent of them had osteoporosis and 50% osteopenia. Among the 85 patients with VMS, 80 did not receive HRT after cancer treatment. At the time of the survey, only 7 (4%) patients were receiving hormone replacement therapy (HRT). CONCLUSIONS VMS and sexual disorders are frequently reported by EOCS, particularly among patients with SM. Most EOCS with menopausal symptoms could benefit from HRT to improve these symptoms.

Abstract
Background:Several pharmacological classes are involved in drug-associated anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis (DA-AAV). However, the literature data supporting the role a drug in the onset of DA-AAVs mainly rely on case reports or short series and implicate old treatments. Moreover, the advent of new treatments, including targeted therapies, may have modified the epidemiology of these adverse drug reactions (ADRs).Objectives:To update this list by using a pharmacovigilance-based data mining approach.Methods:We collected data on ADRs reported with the MedDRA preferred term “Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis” up to November 2020, from the World Health Organization pharmacovigilance database. For each retrieved drug, a case/noncase analysis was performed, and disproportionate reporting was calculated by using the information component (IC). A positive IC025 value, which is the lower end of the 95% credibility interval, was considered significant.Results:A total of 483 deduplicated individual case safety reports of DA-AAV involving 15 drugs with an IC025>0 were retrieved. DA-AAV occurred in 264 (71.2%, n=371) women, the median age at onset was 62 years [45-72], and the median time to onset between the introduction of the suspected drug and DA-AAV was 9 months [1-36]. DA-AAV occurrence was considered serious in 472 (97.7%, n=481) cases and fatal in 43 (8.9%) cases. Abstract
The MoEDAL trapping detector consists of approximately 800 kg of aluminum volumes. It was exposed during run 2 of the LHC program to 6.46 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHCb interaction point. Evidence for dyons (particles with electric and magnetic charge) captured in the trapping detector was sought by passing the aluminum volumes comprising the detector through a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer. The presence of a trapped dyon would be signaled by a persistent current induced in the SQUID magnetometer. On the basis of a Drell-Yan production model, we exclude dyons with a magnetic charge ranging up to five Dirac charges (5g_{D}) and an electric charge up to 200 times the fundamental electric charge for mass limits in the range 870-3120 GeV and also monopoles with magnetic charge up to and including 5g_{D} with mass limits in the range 870-2040 GeV.

Abstract
Abstract
Background/Introduction
An increase in left ventricular volumes between baseline and follow-up imaging is the main criteria for the quantification of left ventricular remodeling after ST-elevation myocardial infarction, but without consensual definition.
Purpose
We aimed to review the criterion used for the definition of left ventricular remodeling based on cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in studies including patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction.
Methods
A systematic literature search was conducted using MEDLINE and the Cochrane Library from January 2010 to August 2019. Thirty-seven studies involving a total of 4209 patients were included.
Results
The median age of the patients was 59 years, 82% were male, and 93% underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention. The median follow-up duration was 6 months (range, 3–12), and the second cardiac magnetic resonance session was performed at 6 months in 14 (38%) studies. Among these studies, 30 (81%) used a cut-off value for defining left ventricular remodeling, with a pooled left ventricular remodeling prevalence estimate of 22.8%, 95%-CI[19.4%-26.7%], and a major between-study heterogeneity (I2=82%). The seven remaining studies (19%) defined left ventricular remodeling as a continuous variable. A 20% increase in end-diastolic volumes or a 15% increase in end-systolic volumes between a baseline and a follow-up cardiac magnetic resonance imaging were the two most common criterion (13 [35%] and 9 [24%] studies, respectively). Seven studies used both end-diastolic and end-systolic vleft ventricular volumes.
Conclusion(s)
The definition of left ventricular remodeling using cardiac magnetic resonance following ST-elevation myocardial infarction is highly variable, among studies including highly selected patients. The most frequent left ventricular remodeling criterion were a 20% increase in end-diastolic volumes or a 15% increase in end-systolic volumes. A composite cut-off value of a 12% to 15% increase in end-systolic volume and a 12% to 20% increase in end-diastolic volume using a follow-up cardiac magnetic resonance imaging 1 to 3 months after myocardial infarction might be proposed as a consensual cut-off for defining adverse left ventricular remodeling for future large-sized, prospective studies with serial cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and long-term follow-up in unselected patients.

Background/Introduction
Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-associated myocarditis has a high mortality rate of approximately 50%. Clinical decompensation often occurs despite first-line treatment with corticosteroids. Factors associated with steroid failure are currently unknown.
Purpose
To identify predictors of steroid failure in patients with ICI-associated myocarditis.
Methods
We developed a web-based registry to collect and study 157 cases with clinical manifestations of ICI-associated myocarditis across 16 countries. Steroid failure was defined as patients who were escalated to immunomodulators after ≥1mg/kg daily dose of prednisone or had in-hospital death due to myocarditis despite ≥1mg/kg daily dose of prednisone. Steroid response was defined as all other patients treated with steroids without escalation to immunomodulators and without death due to myocarditis. A multivariate logistic model accounting for age and sex was used to predict association with steroid failure.
Results
Compared to steroid responsive cases, steroid failure was more likely to result in fulminant myocarditis (56.7% vs 19.6%, OR=5.37 [2.62–10.98] p<0.001) and all-cause in-hospital mortality (49.1% vs 12.9%, OR=6.50 [2.86–14.73] p<0.001) with shorter time from presentation to death (27.5 vs 43.0 days HR: 2.56 [1.45–4.50] p=0.001). When adjusting for age and sex, cases were more likely to be steroid-refractory if they were female (46.7% vs 30.1%, OR=2.77 [1.31–5.85] p=0.007), higher body mass index (27.2 vs 22.0, OR=1.09 [1.01–1.18] p=0.012), had higher intake creatine kinase (2800.5 vs 528.0 U/L, OR=1.48 [1.14–1.90] p=0.003) had higher intake troponin T (1.40 vs 0.25 ng/mL OR=1.63 [1.00–2.64] p=0.049), or had one or more concomitant non-cardiac immune-related adverse event (90.0% vs 74.2%, OR=3.10 [1.14–8.25] p<0.026). The only immune-related adverse events independently associated with steroid failure in myocarditis were myasthenia gravis-like syndrome (26.7% vs 8.2%, OR=3.84 [1.47–10.10] p=0.006) and myositis (45.0% vs 24.7%, OR=2.38 [1.16–4.92] p=0.018). Steroid failure was not significantly associated with cardiovascular or autoimmune history but was associated with a history of thymoma (12.0% vs 2.6%, OR=18.86 [0.10–356.7] p=0.05)
Conclusion(s)
Features such as female sex, high body mass index, and pre-existing thymoma as well as findings of elevated cardiac biomarkers and other non-cardiac immune-related adverse events – particularly myositis and myasthenia gravis-like syndrome – may represent a steroid-refractory phenotype of ICI-associated myocarditis. These results suggest that a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing concomitant non-cardiac immune related adverse events is key to risk-stratifying ICI-associated myocarditis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Malignant ovarian germ cell tumors are rare tumors, affecting young women with a generally favorable prognosis. The French reference network for Rare Malignant Gynecological Tumors (TMRG) aims to improve their management. The purpose of this study is to report clinicopathological features and long-term outcomes, to explore prognostic parameters and to help in considering adjuvant strategy for stage I patients. PATIENTS AND METHODS Data from patients with MOGCT registered among 13 of the largest centers of the TMRG network were analyzed. We report clinicopathological features, estimated 5-year event-free survival (5y-EFS) and 5-year overall survival (5y-OS) of MOGCT patients. RESULTS We collected data from 147 patients including 101 (68.7%) FIGO stage I patients. Histology identifies 40 dysgerminomas, 52 immature teratomas, 32 yolk sac tumors, 2 choriocarcinomas and 21 mixed tumors. Surgery was performed in 140 (95.2%) patients and 106 (72.1%) received first line chemotherapy. Twenty-two stage I patients did not receive chemotherapy. Relapse occurred in 24 patients: 13 were exclusively treated with upfront surgery and 11 received surgery and chemotherapy. 5y-EFS was 82% and 5y-OS was 92.4%. Stage I patients who underwent surgery alone had an estimated 5y-EFS of 54.6% and patients receiving adjuvant chemotherapy 94.4% (P < .001). However, no impact on estimated 5y-OS was observed: 96.3% versus 97.8% respectively (P = .62). FIGO stage, complete primary surgery and post-operative alpha fetoprotein level significantly correlated with survival. CONCLUSION Adjuvant chemotherapy does not seem to improve survival in stage I patients. Active surveillance can be proposed for selected patients with a complete surgical staging.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIM Evidences suggest that androgen deficiency is associated with sudden cardiac death (SCD). Our purpose was to analyse some electrocardiographic (ECG) markers of repolarization phase in hypogonadal patients either at baseline or after testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). PATIENTS AND METHODS Baseline and after 6 months of testosterone replacement therapy, 14 hypogonadal patients and 10 age-matched controls underwent a short-term ECG recordings at rest and immediately after a maximal exercise test. The following ECG parameters have been collected: QTe (the interval between the q wave the end of T wave), QTp (the interval between the q wave and the peak of T wave), and Te (the interval between the peak and the end of T wave). RESULTS At baseline, in the hypogonadal patients, corrected QTe and QTp values were longer at rest than in the controls at rest (p < 0.05), whereas, during the recovery phase, only the QTp remained significantly longer (p < 0.05). After TRT, hypogonadal patients showed an improvement only in Te (p < 0.05). Conversely, any difference between hypogonadal patients and control subjects was found with respect to the markers of temporal dispersion of repolarization phases, except for a worse QTp → Te coherence (p = 0.001) obtained during the recovery phase. CONCLUSIONS In conclusion, at rest, hypogonadal patients suffer from a stable increase in the myocardial repolarization phase without an increase in its temporal dispersion and, hence, the SCD risk seems to be low.

Abstract
MoEDAL is designed to identify new physics in the form of stable or pseudostable highly ionizing particles produced in high-energy Large Hadron Collider (LHC) collisions. Here we update our previous search for magnetic monopoles in Run 2 using the full trapping detector with almost four times more material and almost twice more integrated luminosity. For the first time at the LHC, the data were interpreted in terms of photon-fusion monopole direct production in addition to the Drell-Yan-like mechanism. The MoEDAL trapping detector, consisting of 794 kg of aluminum samples installed in the forward and lateral regions, was exposed to 4.0 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHCb interaction point and analyzed by searching for induced persistent currents after passage through a superconducting magnetometer. Magnetic charges equal to or above the Dirac charge are excluded in all samples. Monopole spins 0, ½, and 1 are considered and both velocity-independent and-dependent couplings are assumed. This search provides the best current laboratory constraints for monopoles with magnetic charges ranging from two to five times the Dirac charge.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Few data are available on long-term fatigue (LTF) and quality of life (QoL) among epithelial ovarian cancer survivors (EOCS). In this case-control study, we compared LTF, symptoms and several QoL domains in EOCS relapse-free ≥3 years after first-line treatment and age-matched healthy women. PATIENTS AND METHODS EOCS were recruited from 25 cooperative GINECO centers in France. Controls were randomly selected from the electoral rolls. All participants completed validated self-reported questionnaires: fatigue (FACIT-F), QoL (FACT-G/O), neurotoxicity (FACT-Ntx), anxiety/depression (HADS), sleep disturbance (ISI), and physical activity (IPAQ). Severe LTF (SLTF) was defined as a FACIT-F score <37/52. Univariate and multivariate logistic regressions were conducted to analyze SLTF and its influencing factors in EOCS. RESULTS A total of 318 EOCS and 318 controls were included. EOCS were 63-year-old on average, with FIGO stage I/II (50%), III/IV (48%); 99% had received platinum and taxane chemotherapy, with an average 6-year follow-up. There were no differences between the two groups in socio-demographic characteristics and global QoL. EOCS had poorer FACIT-F scores (40 versus 45, P < 0.0001), lower functional well-being scores (18 versus 20, P = 0.0002), poorer FACT-O scores (31 versus 34 P < 0.0001), and poorer FACT-Ntx scores (35 versus 39, P < 0.0001). They also reported more SLTF (26% versus 13%, P = 0.0004), poorer sleep quality (63% versus 47%, P = 0.0003), and more depression (22% versus 13%, P = 0.01). Fewer than 20% of EOCS and controls exercised regularly. In multivariate analyses, EOCS with high levels of depression, neurotoxicity, and sleep disturbance had an increased risk of developing SLTF (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION Compared with controls, EOCS presented similar QoL but persistent LTF, EOC-related symptoms, neurotoxicity, depression, and sleep disturbance. Depression, neuropathy, and sleep disturbance are the main conditions associated with severe LTF.

Abstract
AIMS Cytidine deaminase (CDA) activity in cancer patients' serum has been proposed as a predictive biomarker for efficacy and toxicity of nucleoside analogues. However, discrepant results about its predictive value have been reported due to the high interindividual variability in CDA activity. This study aimed at identifying determinants of this interindividual variability. METHODS From December 2014 to November 2015, 183 patients were prospectively included. Serum CDA activity, biological and clinical characteristics as well as five common single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the CDA gene (c.-451C > T, c.-92A > G, c.-33_-31delC, c.79A > C, c.435 T > C) were analysed. Associations between clinical characteristics, pharmacogenetic variants and CDA activity were univariately tested. P < 0.1-candidate variables were analysed through a multivariate analysis. The association between CDA activity and toxicity was assessed for the 56 gemcitabine-treated patients. Intraindividual variability in CDA activity was explored in six pancreatic cancer patients treated with gemcitabine. RESULTS Median CDA activity was 3.97 U mg-1 (range 1.53-15.49 U mg-1 ). A univariate analysis showed that CDA activity was statistically associated with Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status, mild or severe malnutrition, inflammatory syndrome, leucocyte count, neutrophil count, albumin, C-reactive protein and -c.-33_-31delC single nucleotide polymorphism. A multivariate analysis identified that only neutrophil count (P < 0.0001) and severe malnutrition (P = 0.0278) were independently associated with CDA activity. Low CDA activity (<2 U mg-1 ) was not statistically associated with severe gemcitabine-related toxicities (P = 0.16). A decrease in CDA activity was observed during the longitudinal follow-up of six pancreatic cancer patients treated with gemcitabine (P = 0.03). CONCLUSIONS These results suggest that neutrophil count and malnutrition should be considered for the interpretation of pretherapeutic CDA activity.

Abstract
Background PM01183 is a new compound that blocks active transcription, produces DNA breaks and apoptosis, and affects the inflammatory microenvironment. PM01183 showed strong antitumor activity in preclinical models of cisplatin-resistant epithelial ovarian cancer. Patients and methods Patients with platinum-resistant/refractory ovarian cancer were included in a two-stage, controlled, randomized (in a second stage), multicenter, phase II study. Primary endpoint was overall response rate (ORR) by RECIST and/or GCIG criteria. The exploratory first stage (n = 22) confirmed the activity of PM01183 as a single agent at 7.0 mg flat dose every 3 weeks (q3wk). The second stage (n = 59) was randomized and controlled with topotecan on days 1-5 q3wk or weekly (every 4 weeks, q4wk). Results ORR was 23% (95% CI, 13%-37%) for 52 PM01183-treated patients. Median duration of response was 4.6 months (95% CI, 2.5-6.9 months), and 23% (95% CI, 0%-51%) of responses lasted 6 months or more. Ten of the 12 confirmed responses were reported for 33 patients with platinum-resistant disease [ORR = 30% (95% CI, 16%-49%)]; for the 29 patients treated with topotecan in the second stage, no responses were found. Median PFS for all PM01183-treated patients was 4.0 months (95% CI, 2.7-5.6 months), and 5.0 months (95% CI, 2.7-6.9 months) for patients with platinum-resistant disease. Grade 3/4 neutropenia in 85% of patients; febrile neutropenia in 21% and fatigue (grade 3 in 35%) were the principal safety findings for PM01183. Conclusion PM01183 is an active drug in platinum-resistant/refractory ovarian cancer and warrants further development. The highest activity was observed in platinum-resistant disease. Its safety profile indicates the dose should be adjusted to body surface area (mg/m2). Trial code EudraCT 2011-002172-16.

Abstract
Adipocyte differentiation and function relies on a network of transcription factors, which is disrupted in obesity-associated low grade, chronic inflammation leading to adipose tissue dysfunction. In this context, there is a need for a thorough understanding of the transcriptional regulatory network involved in adipose tissue pathophysiology. Recent advances in the functional annotation of the genome has highlighted the role of non-coding RNAs in cellular differentiation processes in coordination with transcription factors. Using an unbiased genome-wide approach, we identified and characterized a novel long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA) strongly induced during adipocyte differentiation. This lincRNA favors adipocyte differentiation and coactivates the master adipogenic regulator peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) through interaction with the paraspeckle component and hnRNP-like RNA binding protein 14 (RBM14/NCoAA), and was therefore called PPARγ-activator RBM14-associated lncRNA (Paral1). Paral1 expression is restricted to adipocytes and decreased in humans with increasing body mass index. A decreased expression was also observed in diet-induced or genetic mouse models of obesity and this down-regulation was mimicked in vitro by TNF treatment. In conclusion, we have identified a novel component of the adipogenic transcriptional regulatory network defining the lincRNA Paral1 as an obesity-sensitive regulator of adipocyte differentiation and function.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Troponins are considered as the biomarkers of choice to highlight cardiac injury in emergency departments, but are also valuable to detect cardiac injury in a non-emergency setting. In this latter case, transport of blood samples to laboratories often exceeds the manufacturer's recommendations (<2 h between vein puncture and analysis for the Beckman Coulter AccuTnI+3 assay). We aim to evaluate in vitro the stability of troponin Ic (cTnI) at two intervals (<2 h and at 4 h) over a wide range of concentrations using the Beckman Coulter AccuTnI+3 assay. PATIENTS AND METHODS For each of the 95 patients included in this study, we analyzed the first blood sample with a time of transport <2 h, and the second sample after 4 h from vein puncture. We then calculated the correlation between the two periods of analysis and evaluated the bias by a Bland-Altman test. RESULTS Taking into account of our analytical reproducibility, we did not observe any significant differences in cTnI values between <2 h and 4 h. CONCLUSIONS The time between vein puncture and analysis of cTnI can be extended to 4 h.

Abstract
MoEDAL is designed to identify new physics in the form of long-lived highly ionizing particles produced in high-energy LHC collisions. Its arrays of plastic nuclear-track detectors and aluminium trapping volumes provide two independent passive detection techniques. We present here the results of a first search for magnetic monopole production in 13 TeV proton-proton collisions using the trapping technique, extending a previous publication with 8 TeV data during LHC Run 1. A total of 222 kg of MoEDAL trapping detector samples was exposed in the forward region and analyzed by searching for induced persistent currents after passage through a superconducting magnetometer. Magnetic charges exceeding half the Dirac charge are excluded in all samples and limits are placed for the first time on the production of magnetic monopoles in 13 TeV pp collisions. The search probes mass ranges previously inaccessible to collider experiments for up to five times the Dirac charge.
