Abstract
Between the situation of the exile, for whom all points of reference have been lost, and the clinical presentation of elderly patients, the symptomatology is similar. So what is the situation regarding the ageing of exiled patients? Exile is a trauma typically marked by five clinical phases. A clinical approach to exile between nostalgia, ageing and belonging: this reflection is based on an assessment of existing circumstances and on the epidemiological and clinical aspects relating to treatments.
