Abstract
Bioimpedance analysis (BIA)-body composition monitoring (BCM) has been used to evaluate the hydration and nutritional status of adults and children on dialysis. However, its clinical application still has challenges, so further exploration is valuable. We used BIA-BCM to evaluate the hydration and nutritional status of children undergoing chronic peritoneal dialysis from 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2022 in the Children's Hospital of Fudan University to explore the clinical value of this method. A total of 84 children on chronic peritoneal dialysis (PD) were included. In the PD group, 16 (19.05%) and 31 (36.90%) had mild and severe overhydration (OH), respectively; 41.27% (26/63) had a low lean tissue index (LTI). In the PD group, patients with relative OH (Re-OH) > 5.6% had significantly higher systolic blood pressure (SBP) and SBP z score (SBPz). Patients with LTI > 12% had significantly higher body mass index (BMI) and BMI z score (BMIz). Canonical correlation analysis indicated a linear relationship (ρ = 0.708) between BIA-BCM hydration and the clinical hydration indicator and a linear relationship (ρ = 0.995) between the BIA-BCM nutritional indicator and the clinical nutritional indicator. A total of 56% of children on chronic peritoneal dialysis had OH, and 41% had a low LTI. In PD patients, SBP and SBPz were correlated with BIA-BCM Re-OH, and BMI and BMIz were correlated with BIA-BCM LTI. BIA-BCM indicators have good clinical value in evaluating hydration and nutrition.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Recently, enhancer RNAs (eRNAs) have garnered attention as pivotal biomarkers for the onset and progression of cancer. However, the landscape of eRNAs and the implications of eRNA-based molecular subtypes in stage II/III colorectal cancer (CRC) remain largely unexplored. METHODS Comprehensive profiling of eRNAs was conducted on a public stage II/III CRC cohort with total RNA-seq data. We used unsupervised clustering of prognostic eRNAs to establish an eRNA-based subtyping system. Further evaluations included molecular characteristics, immune infiltration, clinical outcomes, and drug responses. Finally, we validated the eRNA-based subtyping system in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) CRC cohort. RESULTS We identified a total of 6453 expressed eRNAs, among which 237 were prognostic. A global upregulation of eRNAs was observed in microsatellite-stable (MSS) CRCs when compared to microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) CRCs. Through consensus clustering, two novel molecular subtypes, termed Cluster 1(C1) and Cluster 2(C2), were further identified. C1, associated with the activation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), hypoxia, and KRAS signaling pathways, showed poorer prognosis. C2, correlated with the canonical CRC subtype, exhibited superior survival outcomes. In addition, C1 showed enrichment with immune infiltration and more sensitivity to immune checkpoint inhibitors. CONCLUSION Our study unravels the molecular heterogeneity of stage II/III CRC at the eRNA level and highlights the potential applications of the novel eRNA-based subtyping system in predicting prognosis and guiding immunotherapy.

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) isolated from cotton in augmenting pectin (PEC)/konjac glucomannan (KGM) composite films containing clove essential oil (CEO) for food packaging application. The effects of CNC dosage on film properties were examined by analyzing the rheology of film-forming solutions and the mechanical, barrier, antimicrobial, and CEO-release properties of the films. Rheological and FTIR analysis revealed the enhanced interactions among the film components after CNC incorporation due to its high aspect ratio and abundant hydroxyl groups, which can also prevent CEO droplet aggregation, contributing to form a compact microstructure as confirmed by SEM and 3D surface topography observations. Consequently, the addition of CNC reinforced the polysaccharide matrix, increasing the tensile strength of the films and improving their barrier properties to water vapor. More importantly, antibacterial, controlled release and kinetic simulation experiments proved that the addition of CNC could further slow down the release rate of CEO, prolonging the antimicrobial properties of the films. PEC/KGM/CEO composite films with 15 wt% CNC was found to have relatively best comprehensive properties, which was also most effective in delaying deterioration of grape quality during the storage of 9 days at 25 °C.

Abstract
With the global emphasis on environmental protection and increasingly stringent emission regulations for internal combustion engines, there is an urgent need to overcome the problem of large hydrocarbon (HC) emissions caused by unstable engine cold starts. Synergistic engine pre-treatment (reducing hydrocarbon production) as well as after-treatment devices (adsorbing and oxidizing hydrocarbons) is the fundamental solution to emissions. In this paper, the improvement of hydrocarbon emissions is summarized from two aspects: pre-treatment and after-treatment. The pre-treatment for engine cold start mainly focuses on summarizing the intake control, fuel, and engine timing parameters. The after-treatment mainly focuses on summarizing different types of adsorbents and modifications (mainly including different molecular sieve structures and sizes, preparation conditions, silicon aluminum ratio, ion exchange modification, and heterogeneity, etc.), adsorptive catalysts (mainly including optimization of catalytic performance and structure), and catalytic devices (mainly including coupling with thermal management equipment and HC trap devices). In this paper, a SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat) analysis of pre-treatment and after-treatment measures is conducted. Researchers can obtain relevant research results and seek new research directions and approaches for controlling cold start HC emissions.

Abstract
Localized high-concentration electrolyte is widely acknowledged as a cutting-edge electrolyte for the lithium metal anode. However, the high fluorine content, either from high-concentration salts or from highly fluorinated diluents, results in significantly higher production costs and an increased environmental burden. Here, we have developed a novel electrolyte termed "Localized Medium-Concentration Electrolyte" (LMCE) to effectively address these issues. This LMCE is designed and produced by diluting a medium concentration (0.5 M-1.5 M) electrolyte which is incompatible with lithium metal anode before diluting. It has ultralow concentration (0.1 M) and demonstrates remarkable compatibility with lithium metal anode. Surprisingly, our LMCE, despite having an ultralow concentration (0.1 M), exhibits excellent kinetics in Li/Cu, Li/Li, LiFePO4 /Li, and NCM811/Li batteries. Additionally, LMCE effectively inhibits the corrosion of the Al current collector caused by LiTFSI salt under high voltage (>4 V) conditions. This groundbreaking LMCE design transforms the seemingly "incompatible" into the "compatible", opening up new avenues for exploring various electrolyte formulations, including all liquid electrolyte-based batteries.

Abstract
Near infrared (NIR) emission Ag2S quantum dots (QDs) are of great value for biochemical sensing with strong anti-interference and low toxicity. Herein, NIR fluorescence Ag2S QDs were synthesized successfully. Combined with the excellent oxidase-like characteristics of manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanosheets, a fluorescence and colorimetric dual-mode sensor for sulfide anion was developed. MnO2 nanosheets could effectively catalyze the oxidation of TMB to produce blue TMB oxide (ox TMB), at the same time, the fluorescence of Ag2S QDs could be effectively quenched by fluorescence internal filtration effect (IFE) and dynamic quenching effect. The enzyme-like activity was weakened and the NIR fluorescence of Ag2S QDs was restored when sulfide anion (S2-) was added, due to the reduction of MnO2 to Mn2+.The linear ranges for fluorescence and colorimetric analysis of S2- were 2-250 μM and 0.3-50 μM, with detection limits of 0.6 and 0.215 μM, correspondingly. The dual-mode sensor had a wider detection range, higher sensitivity and shorter reaction time, which could be used for highly selective detection of S2- in different concentration ranges. In addition, it had been successfully applied to the determination of sulfide in water samples with satisfactory accuracy and sensitivity.

Abstract
In this paper, the one-pot method is used to make the four DNA strands complement each other to construct the basic framework for DNA tetrahedral tweezers. To regulate the opening and closing of DNA tetrahedral tweezers, DNA strands with a high amount of T-base sequences is partially complementary to the tetrahedral framework. Hg2+ can form T-Hg-T hairpin structures with T-base. When DNA tetrahedral tweezers encounter Hg2+, the T-Hg-T structure is formed to shorten the connecting chain, and the tightening force causes the DNA tweezers to change from an open state to a closed state. Conversely, changes in fluorescence intensity due to the structure change can be used to detect the presence of Hg2+.

Abstract
With the increasingly stringent control of NOx emissions, NH3-SCR, one of the most effective de-NOx technologies for removing NOx, has been widely employed to eliminate NOx from automobile exhaust and industrial production. Researchers have favored iron-based catalysts for their low cost, high activity, and excellent de-NOx performance. This paper takes a new perspective to review the research progress of iron-based catalysts. The influence of the chemical form of single iron-based catalysts on their performance was investigated. In the section on composite iron-based catalysts, detailed reviews were conducted on the effects of synergistic interactions between iron and other elements on catalytic performance. Regarding loaded iron-based catalysts, the catalytic performance of iron-based catalysts on different carriers was systematically examined. In the section on iron-based catalysts with novel structures, the effects of the morphology and crystallinity of nanomaterials on catalytic performance were analyzed. Additionally, the reaction mechanism and poisoning mechanism of iron-based catalysts were elucidated. In conclusion, the paper delved into the prospects and future directions of iron-based catalysts, aiming to provide ideas for the development of iron-based catalysts with better application prospects. The comprehensive review underscores the significance of iron-based catalysts in the realm of de-NOx technologies, shedding light on their diverse forms and applications. The hope is that this paper will serve as a valuable resource, guiding future endeavors in the development of advanced iron-based catalysts.

Abstract
Pollutants produced by engines are a significant source of environmental pollution, so the study of engine emissions is very important. In this study, with CONVERGE software, a diesel engine model of the engine was produced. To better obtain the characteristic results of the engine, this was coupled with an improved chemical kinetics mechanism. Then, the results of this model were verified experimentally. Additionally, the effects of four different EGR rates on the combustion, performance, and emissions of a dual-fuel diesel engine were investigated by the verified model under different (50 %, 75 %, and 100 %) load conditions. Lastly, the brake specific fuel consumption, NOx emission, and HC emission were optimized by the response surface methodology (RSM). The results show that the pressure, temperature, and NOx emission in the engine's cylinder can all be reduced by raising the EGR at three different loads. Besides, the optimization results show that the engine achieves the best operating conditions at 100 % load, hydrogen fraction of 6.92 %, and EGR rate of 7.68 %.

Abstract
This article reports the design, fabrication, and performance of an annular-array ultrasound transducer using (K, Na)NbO3 (KNN)-based lead-free 1-3 piezoelectric composite. The 1-3 piezoelectric composite based on lead-free 0.965(K0.45Na0.55)(Nb0.96Sb0.04)O3-0.035 Bi0.5Na0.5Zr0.85Hf0.15O3 (KNNS-BNZH) was first prepared with the dice-and-fill method. Different from previous reported studies, by patterning annular electrodes on this kind of 1-3 composite, a five-element annular-array transducer in diameter of 6 mm was designed and successfully fabricated and its working center frequency was increased from 5 MHz to around 15 MHz. Meanwhile, a -6 dB bandwidth of 50% was achieved for each annular-array element via a pulse-echo response measurement. Moreover, the obtained annular-array transducer exhibits low crosstalk (<-40 dB) and a high electromechanical coupling coefficient of around 0.7. The application of ultrasonic imaging was further demonstrated to show its excellent performance. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the obtained annular-array transducer presented in this work has a competitive capability for ultrasonic application.

Abstract
This study determined that Zanthoxylum bungeanum leaves (ZBLs) are rich in functional components such as cellulose, protein, flavone, and polyphenols. Therefore, they were used as the main raw material, with sodium alginate as a thickener and glycerol as a plasticizer, to investigate the preparation of active films from ZBL powder through high-pressure homogenization (HPH). The physical, optical, mechanical, and antioxidant properties of the films were evaluated, and their application in preserving fresh-cut apples was examined. The results showed that the optimal concentration of ZBL powder was 1.5% under a 30 MPa HPH treatment. The resulting HPH-treated films exhibited a denser microstructure and improved water vapor barrier properties and mechanical strength. Compared to the films without HPH treatment, the tensile strength increased from 4.61 MPa to 12.13 MPa, the elongation at break increased from 21.25% to 42.86%, the water vapor permeability decreased from 9.9 × 10-9 g/m·s·Pa to 8.0 × 10-9 g/m·s·Pa, and the transparency increased from 25.36% to 38.5%. Compared to the control group, the fresh-cut apples packaged with the HPH-treated ZBL active films exhibited effective preservation of apple quality during a five-day period at 4 °C and 70% humidity, showing better preservation effects than the other groups. In conclusion, the use of HPH treatment in developing novel biopolymer active films from ZBL powders with enhanced properties holds potential for various applications.

Abstract
The variation in nutrient content across diverse environments has a significant impact on the survival and metabolism of microorganisms. In this study, we examined the influence of nutrients on the antibiotic tolerance of the PAO1 strain of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Our findings indicate that under nutrient-rich conditions, this strain exhibited relatively high tolerance to ceftazidime, chloramphenicol, and tetracycline, but not aminoglycosides and fluoroquinolones. Transcriptome analysis revealed that genes associated with antibiotic tolerance were expressed more efficiently in nutrient-rich media, including ribosomal protein genes and multidrug efflux pump genes, which conferred higher tetracycline tolerance to the strain. Furthermore, the genes responsible for translation, biosynthesis, and oxidative phosphorylation were suppressed when nutrients were limited, resulting in decreased metabolic activity and lower sensitivity to ciprofloxacin. Artificial interference with ATP synthesis utilizing arsenate confirmed that the curtailment of energy provision bolstered the observed tolerance to ciprofloxacin. In general, our results indicate that this strain of P. aeruginosa tends to activate its intrinsic resistance mechanisms in nutrient-rich environments, thereby enhancing resistance to certain antibiotics. Conversely, in nutrient-limited environments, the strain is more likely to enter a dormant state, which enables it to tolerate antibiotics to which it would otherwise be sensitive. These findings further suggest that antibiotics released in environments with varying eutrophication levels may have divergent effects on the development of bacterial antibiotic resistance.

Abstract
Black Carbon (BC), the second-largest contributor to global warming, has detrimental effects on human health and the environment. However, the accurate quantification of BC poses a significant challenge, impeding the comprehensive assessment of its impacts. Therefore, this paper aims to critically review three quantitative methods for measuring BC: Thermal Optical Analysis (TOA), the Optical Method, and Laser-Induced Incandescence (LII). The determination principles, available commercial instruments, sources of deviation, and correction approaches associated with these techniques are systematically discussed. By synthesizing and comparing the quantitative results reported in previous studies, this paper aims to elucidate the underlying relationships and fundamental disparities among Elemental Carbon (EC), Equivalent Black Carbon (eBC), and Refractory Black Carbon (rBC). Finally, based on the current advancements in BC quantification, recommendations are proposed to guide future research directions.

Abstract
Chayote (Sechium edule), an underutilized cucurbit vegetable crop, has gained attention as it exhibits health-promoting properties. However, the primary structure of chayote cell-wall polysaccharides has not been comprehensively studied. In this study, two cell-wall polysaccharides, CP-1 (41.1 KDa) and CP-2 (15.6 KDa), were extracted from chayote, and the structural analysis of CP-1 and CP-2 was carried out by monosaccharide composition analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), methylation analysis, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR). The results demonstrated that CP-1 was a galactan, and CP-2 was an anionic heteropolysaccharide composed of galacturonic acid, galactose, arabinose, rhamnose, glucose, glucuronic acid, mannose, and xylose in the molar ratio of 31.2:26.3:24.9:7.4:6.5:1.9:1.3:0.5. CP-2 has a backbone of → 4)-β-d-Galp-(1 → 3,6)-β-d-Galp-(1 → 3)-β-d-Galp-(1 → 4)-α-d-GalpA-(1→, with branches at O-6 of → 3,6)-β-d-Galp-(1→, consisting of α-l-Araf-(1 → 5)-α-l-Araf-(1 → 4)-β-d-Glcp-(1 →. Analysis of the structural and physicochemical properties confirmed the excellent application characteristics of CP-1 and CP-2. Hence, cell-wall polysaccharides of chayote could be used as new polysaccharides materials.

Abstract
Porosity is closely related to the corrosion and wear properties of a coating processed by thermal-spraying technology, and the quantitative characterization of porosity is a crucial part of the research on coating structures. The current image analysis method often uses the mechanical polishing method recommended by ISO to measure a coating porosity. This method has been proved to be an effective method for the characterization of oxide coatings. However, due to the significant differences in the physical and chemical properties between aluminum and oxides, this method may not be suitable for aluminum coatings, and a more appropriate approach needs to be explored. In this paper, the effects of three polishing technologies (mechanical polishing, argon-ion-beam polishing, and electrolytic polishing) on the porosity measurement of pure aluminum coatings were compared and studied. The research results showed that the commonly used mechanical polishing method and more advanced argon-ion-beam polishing method could not completely reveal the pore structure because SiC particles would be embedded in the pure aluminum coatings during mechanical polishing, filling large pores. Although electrolytic polishing technology had advantages in revealing the macroporous structure, it would introduce a microporous structure and oxides, which would affect the measurement of the coating porosity. The composite polishing technology (electrolytic polishing + argon-ion-beam polishing) could perfectly reveal the pore structure in the pure-aluminum coating, and the porosity of arc-sprayed aluminum coating was 9.9%, which was close to the macroscopic true value measured using the weighing method of 10.2%.

Abstract
The maintain of iron (Fe) homeostasis is essential for plant survival. In tomato, few transcription factors have been identified as regulators of Fe homeostasis, among which SlbHLH068 induced by iron deficiency, plays an important role. However, the upstream regulator(s) responsible for activating the expression of SlbHLH068 remain(s) unknown. In this study, the bHLH (basic helix-loop-helix) transcription factor SlbHLH152 was identified as an upstream regulator of SlbHLH068 using yeast one-hybrid screening. Deletion of SlbHLH152 led to a significant decline in Fe concentration, which was accompanied by reduced expression of Fe-deficiency-responsive genes. In contrast, SlbHLH152 overexpression plants displayed tolerance to iron deficiency, increased Fe accumulation, and elevated expression of Fe-deficiency-responsive genes. Further analysis indicated that SlbHLH152 directly activates the transcription of SlbHLH068. Taken together, our results suggest that SlbHLH152 may be involved in the regulation of iron homeostasis by directly activating the transcription of SlbHLH068 in tomato.

Abstract
Ultrasound has been widely used for physical modifications of starch because of its effectiveness and environment friendliness; however, only a few reports have focused on the effect of varying ultrasonic treatments on the physicochemical properties of potato flour. In the present study, ultrasound at varying power levels (200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 W) and time intervals (20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 min) were used to obtain sonicated flour. Sonicated potato flour exhibited a significant (P < 0.05) decrease in blue value and oil holding capacity but an increase in swelling power, water solubility, syneresis rate, and transparency. Moreover, ultrasound decreased the RDS content while increasing RS and SDS contents. Thermal properties demonstrated significant (P < 0.05) increases in T0 (64.39℃-83.52℃) and TC (144.29℃-146.87℃) but a decrease in ΔH of the sonicated flour. SEM revealed wrinkles, less debris, and larger particle size at the surface of the sonicated flour. FTIR profiles of all samples exhibited similar characteristics peaks, but the sonicated flour had a higher R1047/1022 value. Additionally, ultrasound did not affect crystalline patterns, but it increased the crystallinity of the sonicated flour. Our study contributes to the understanding of physicochemical property changes of sonicated potato flour, which could have industrial applications.

Abstract
The severity of engine emissions for the environment and human health cannot be ignored. This article optimizes the combustion and emission of gasoline-cassava bioethanol fuel blends in electronic fuel injection engines using response surface methodology to achieve the goal of reducing carbon and pollutant emissions. The experiment investigated the effects of different gasoline-cassava bioethanol mixing ratios (G100, G90E10, G80E20, and G70E30) on engine performance, including torque, brake specific fuel consumption, power, total hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and carbon monoxide emissions. The results show that the gasoline-cassava bioethanol fuel blend is not as good as G100 in terms of braking power, torque, and brake specific fuel consumption, but better than G100 in terms of carbon monoxide emissions and total hydrocarbon emissions. Then, the optimization objective function was determined, and the combustion and emission characteristics were optimized using the response surface methodology method. The optimization results indicate that the response surface methodology method can determine the interaction between design variables such as brake specific fuel consumption, nitrogen oxides, and total hydrocarbon emissions and find the best solution. In this experiment, the independent variables of the best solution were 72.9 N·m torque, 30% G70E30 mixing rate, and 2000 rpm speed, corresponding to brake specific fuel consumption at 313 g/(kW·h), nitrogen oxide emissions at 2.85 × 103 ppm, and total hydrocarbon emissions at 166 ppm. The findings of this study indicate that by optimizing the gasoline-cassava bioethanol mixture ratio, lower emission levels can be achieved in electronic fuel injection engines, thereby promoting the sustainable development of renewable energy and reducing pollutant emissions.

Abstract
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) envelope glycoprotein (Env) trimer mediates entry into host cells by binding receptors, CD4 and CCR5/CXCR4, and fusing the viral and cell membranes. In infected cells, cleavage of the gp160 Env precursor yields the mature Env trimer, with gp120 exterior and gp41 transmembrane Env subunits. Env cleavage stabilizes the State-1 conformation, which is the major target for broadly neutralizing antibodies, and decreases the spontaneous sampling of more open Env conformations that expose epitopes for poorly neutralizing antibodies. During HIV-1 entry into cells, CD4 binding drives the metastable Env from a pretriggered (State-1) conformation into more "open," lower-energy states. Here, we report that changes in two dissimilar elements of the HIV-1 Env trimer, namely particular gp120 glycans and the gp41 fusion peptide-proximal region (FPPR), can independently modulate the stability of State 1. Individual deletion of several gp120 glycans destabilized State 1, whereas removal of a V1 glycan resulted in phenotypes indicative of a more stable pretriggered Env conformation. Likewise, some alterations of the gp41 FPPR decreased the level of spontaneous shedding of gp120 from the Env trimer and stabilized the pretriggered State-1 Env conformation. State-1-stabilizing changes were additive and could suppress the phenotypes associated with State-1-destabilizing alterations in Env. Our results support a model in which multiple protein and carbohydrate elements of the HIV-1 Env trimer additively contribute to the stability of the pretriggered (State-1) conformation. The Env modifications identified in this study will assist efforts to characterize the structure and immunogenicity of the metastable State-1 conformation. IMPORTANCE The elicitation of antibodies that neutralize multiple strains of HIV-1 is an elusive goal that has frustrated the development of an effective vaccine. The pretriggered shape of the HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein (Env) spike on the virus surface is the major target for such broadly neutralizing antibodies. The "closed" pretriggered Env shape resists the binding of most antibodies but is unstable and often assumes "open" shapes that elicit ineffective antibodies. We identified particular changes in both the protein and the sugar components of the Env trimer that stabilize the pretriggered shape. Combinations of these changes were even more effective at stabilizing the pretriggered Env than the individual changes. Stabilizing changes in Env could counteract the effect of Env changes that destabilize the pretriggered shape. Locking Env in its pretriggered shape will assist efforts to understand the Env spike on the virus and to incorporate this shape into vaccines.

Abstract
This work investigated and compared the impact on performance and emission characteristics of diesel engine fueled with five different proportions of biodiesel blends. Firstly, the three-dimensional simulation software CONVERGE was used to create a 3D simulation model of in-cylinder combustion for a diesel engine. Secondly, the experimental data of cylinder pressure and NOx emissions at 50% and 100% loads were employed to verify the simulation model. Finally, the combustion processes of blends with proportions of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% biodiesel were simulated and compared by using the model. The study showed that the brake thermal efficiencies (BTEs) of biodiesel blends with 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% of biodiesel were increased by 1.24%, 1.89%, 3.13%, and 3.82% at 50% load, respectively, compared with pure diesel. In addition, the soot emissions were decreased by 1.20%, 2.64%, 3.88%, and 4.65%, respectively. However, as the proportion of biodiesel in the biodiesel blends increased, the brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) and NOx emissions increased. At 50% load, the BSFCs of biodiesel blends with 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% of biodiesel increased by 0.61%, 1.34%, 1.42%, and 2.17%, respectively, compared with pure diesel. Additionally, the brake powers (BPs) were decreased by 0.64%, 1.31%, 1.88%, and 2.62% at 100% load, respectively.

Abstract
Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) has been prevalent in China for more than 25 years and remains one of the most significant pathogens threatening the pig industry. The high rate of mutation and frequent recombination of PRRSV have exacerbated its prevalence, particularly with the emergence of highly pathogenic PRRSV (HP-PRRSV) has significantly increased the pathogenicity of PRRSV, posing a serious threat to the development of Chinese pig farming. To monitor the genetic variation of PRRSV-2 in China, the GP5 sequences of 517 PRRSV-2 strains from 1996 to 2022 were analyzed and phylogenetic trees were constructed. Furthermore, a total of 60 PRRSV strains, originating from various lineages, were carefully chosen for nucleotide and amino acid homologies analysis. The results showed that the nucleotide homologies of the PRRSV GP5 gene ranged from 81.4 to 100.0%, and the amino acid homologies ranged from 78.1 to 100.0%. Similarly, the PRRSV GP5a gene showed 78.0 ~ 100.0% nucleotide homologies and 70.2 ~ 100.0% amino acid homologies. Amino acid sequence comparisons of GP5 and GP5a showed that some mutations, such as substitutions, deletions, and insertions, were found in several amino acid sites in GP5, these mutations were primarily found in the signal peptide region, two highly variable regions (HVRs), and near two T-cell antigenic sites, while the mutation sites of GP5a were mainly concentrated in the transmembrane and intramembrane regions. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the prevalent PRRSV-2 strains in China were divided into lineages 1, 3, 5, and 8. Among these, strains from lineage 8 and lineage 1 are currently the main prevalent strains, lineage 5 and lineage 8 have a closer genetic distance. Recombination analysis revealed that one recombination event occurred in 517 PRRSV-2 strains, this event involved recombination between lineage 8 and lineage 1. In conclusion, this analysis enhances our understanding of the prevalence and genetic variation of PRRSV-2 in China. These findings provide significant insights for the development of effective prevention and control strategies for PRRS and serve as a foundation for future research in this field.

Radix Scutellaria-Licorice drug pair (RSLDP), a frequently used herbal pair with the effect of clearing heat and detoxifying, is the commonly employed drug pair in TCM prescriptions for the treatment of COVID-19. Until now, the metabolism feature and anti-COVID-19 mechanism of RSLDP have not been fully elucidated. In this study, a sensitive and rapid method was developed for the separation and identification of the absorbed constituents of RSLDP in the rat plasma by UHPLC-QTOF-MS. Additionally, we optimized the conventional methodologies of network pharmacology and proposed a new concept called target network pharmacology (T-NP). It used the absorbed constituents and the corresponding targets to generate a compound-target network, and compared to conventional network pharmacology, it could reduce false-positive results. A total of 85 absorbed constituents were identified or tentatively characterized in dosed plasma, including 32 components in the group of Radix Scutellaria, 27 components in the group of Licorice, and 65 components in the group of RSLDP. The results showed that the compatibility of Radix Scutellaria and Licorice increased the number of components in vivo. We found that 106 potential targets among the 61 active compounds in RSLDP were related to COVID-19. And 12 targets (STAT3, AKT1, EGFR, HSP9AA1, MAPK3, JUN, IL6, VEGFA, TNF, IL2, RELA, and STAT1) could be core targets for RSLDP in treating COVID-19. Results from these targets indicate that RSLDP treatment of COVID-19 mainly involves response to chemical stress, response to oxygenates, positive regulation of cytokines, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, AGE-RAGE signaling pathway for diabetic complications, virus-related pathways such as novel coronavirus and human cytomegalovirus infection, inflammatory immune-related pathways, and so on. The metabolism feature of RSLDP in vivo was systematically uncovered. The combined use of the T-NP method could discover potential drug targets and disclose the biological processes of RSLDP, which will clarify the potential mechanisms of RSLDP in the treatment of COVID-19.

Abstract
The objection of this study was to investigate the effects of vindoline(VDL) on the cytochrome P450 (CYP 450) isoforms (CYP1A2, 2B, 2C11, 2D1 and 3A) in rats. Firstly, the rats were randomly divided into VDL pretreatment group and blank group, each group had six rats. VDL pretreatment group was administrated VDL (20 mg·kg-1) by oral gavage for fifteen days consecutively, and the equivalent CMC-Na solution without VDL was given to the blank group by gavage. Secondly, a cocktail of caffeine, bupropion, diclofenac, dextromethorphan and midazolam was then administered on the sixteenth day. Finally, blood samples were collected at the specified time point, and the plasma concentration of the probe drug was determined by UHPLC-QTOF-MS/MS. The effects of VDL on the activity of these CYP enzymes in rats were evaluated by pharmacokinetic parameters. VDL pretreatment group compared with the blank group, accelerated the metabolism of diclofenac, and weakened the metabolism of caffeine. These results suggested that VDL could induce the activity of CYP2C11, and inhibits the activity of CYP1A2, but had no significant effects on CYP2B, CYP2D1 and CYP3A. The results in this study can provide beneficial information for the later clinical application of VDL.

Abstract
With the global emphasis on environmental protection and the proposal of the climate goal of "carbon neutrality," countries around the world are calling for reductions in carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, and particulate matter pollution. These pollutants have severe impacts on human lives and should be effectively controlled. Engine exhaust is the most serious pollution source, and diesel engine is an important contributor to particulate matter. Diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology has proven to be an effective technology for soot control at the present and in the future. Firstly, the exacerbating effect of particulate matter on human infectious disease viruses is discussed. Then, the latest developments in the influence of key factors on DPF performance are reviewed at different observation scales (wall, channel, and entire filter). In addition, current soot catalytic oxidant schemes are presented in the review, and the significance of catalyst activity and soot oxidation kinetic models are highlighted. Finally, the areas that need further research are determined, which has important guiding significance for future research. Current catalytic technologies are focused on stable materials with high mobility of oxidizing substances and low cost. The challenge of DPF optimization design is to accurately calculate the balance between soot and ash load, DPF regeneration control strategy, and exhaust heat management strategy.

Abstract
Since its successful isolation in China in 1995, the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) has been mutating into highly pathogenic strains by constantly changing pathogenicity and genetic makeup. In this study, we investigated the prevalence and genetic variation of nonstructural protein 1 (NSP1) in PRRSV-2, the main strain prevalent in China. After formulating hypotheses regarding the biology of the NSP1 protein, the nucleotide and amino acid similarity of NSP1 were analyzed and compared in 193 PRRSV-2 strains. The results showed that NSP1 has a stable hydrophobic protein with a molecular weight of 43,060.76 Da. Although NSP1 lacked signal peptides, it could regulate host cell signaling. Furthermore, NSP1 of different strains had high nucleotide (79.6-100%) and amino acid similarity (78.6-100%). In the amino acid sequence comparison of 15 representative strains of PRRSV-2, multiple amino acid substitution sites were found in NSP1. Phylogenetic tree analysis showed that lineages 1 and 8 had different evolutionary branches with long genetic distances. This study lays the foundation for an in-depth understanding of the nature and genetic variation of NSP1 and the development of a safe and effective vaccine in the future.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical and neuroelectrophysiological characteristics of patients with primary peripheral nerve hyperexcitability syndrome (PNHS). Methods: The clinical data of 20 patients who were diagnosed with PNHS in Beijing Tiantan Hospital from April 2016 to January 2023 were retrospectively collected. All patients underwent neuroelectrophysiological examinations. Clinical and electrophysiological characteristics were compared between the antibody positive and antibody negative groups, according to serum and cerebrospinal fluid anti-contactin-associated protein-like 2 (CASPR2) and/or anti-leucine-rich glioma-inactivated protein 1 (LGI-1) antibodies. Results: There were 12 males and 8 females, with a mean age of (44.0±17.2) years and the disease course of [M (Q1, Q3)] 2.3 (1.1, 11.5) months. Motor symptoms included fasciculations, myokymia, muscle pain, cramps, and stiffness. These symptoms were commonly seen in the lower limbs (17 patients), followed by upper limbs (11 patients), face (11 patients) and trunk (9 patients). Nineteen (19/20) patients had sensory abnormalities and/or autonomic dysfunction, 13 patients had central nervous system involvement, and 5 patients had concomitant lung cancer or thymic lesions. The characteristic spontaneous potentials on needle electromyography (EMG) were myokymia potential (19 patients), fasciculation potential (12 patients), spastic potential (3 patients), neuromyotonic potential (1 patients), etc, which were commonly seen in the lower limb muscles, especially the gastrocnemius muscle(12 patients). After-discharge potential was found in 8 patients, and 7 were in the tibial nerve. Seven patients had positive serum anti-CASPR2 antibodies, and 3 of them had concomitant anti-LGI1 antibodies. And 1 patient had positive serum anti-LGI1 antibody alone. Compared with patients in the antibody negative group (n=12), the patients who had anti-VGKC complex antibodies (n=8) had a shorter course of disease [M (Q1, Q3): 1.8 (1, 2) months vs 9.5 (3.3, 20.3) months, P=0.012], higher incidence of after-discharge potential (6/8 vs 2/12, P=0.019). The immunotherapy regimen (multi-dru, single-drug, no immunotherapy: 6, 2, 0 patients) in antibody-positive patients was different from the antibody-negative group (3, 6, 3 patients, U=21.00, P=0.023). Conclusions: The symptoms of motor nerve hyperexcitation, characteristic EMG spontaneous potentials and after-discharge potentials in PNHS patients are most commonly seen in the lower limbs. Attention should be paid to concomitant sensory and autonomic nerve hyperexcitation. PNHS patients with positive serum anti-CASPR2 antibodies may require immunotherapy with multiple drugs.

Abstract
Pellicle biofilm-forming bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens are the major spoilage microorganisms of soy products. Due to their inherent resistance to antibiotics and disinfectants, pellicle biofilms formed are difficult to eliminate and represent a threat to food safety. Here, we assessed linalool's ability to prevent the pellicle of two spoilage B. amyloliquefaciens strains. The minimum biofilm inhibitory concentration (MBIC) of linalool against B. amyloliquefaciens DY1a and DY1b was 4 μL/mL and 8 μL/mL, respectively. The MBIC of linalool had a considerable eradication rate of 77.15% and 83.21% on the biofilm of the two strains, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy observations revealed that less wrinkly and thinner pellicle biofilms formed on a medium supplemented with 1/2 MBIC and 1/4 MBIC linalool. Also, linalool inhibited cell motility and the production of extracellular polysaccharides and proteins of the biofilm matrix. Furthermore, linalool exposure reduced the cell surface hydrophobicity, zeta potential, and cell auto-aggregation of B. amyloliquefaciens. Molecular docking analysis demonstrated that linalool interacted strongly with quorum-sensing ComP receptor and biofilm matrix assembly TasA through intermolecular hydrogen bonds, hydrophobic contacts, and van der Waals forces interacting with site residues. Overall, our findings suggest that linalool may be employed as a potential antibiofilm agent to control food spoilage B. amyloliquefaciens.

Abstract
In this study, the quality indexes and sensory evaluation of Zanthoxylum armatum DC. from the main production areas in Southwest China were analyzed. Further, correlation analysis (CRA), principal component analysis (PCA) and cluster analysis (CA) were used to comprehensively evaluate the quality characteristics of Z. armatum. The results showed that the sensory indexes and physicochemical indexes of Z. armatum were significantly correlated. Five principal component factors were extracted from 12 indexes by PCA, and a comprehensive evaluation model of quality was established with Y = 0.2943Y1 + 0.2387Y2 + 0.1896Y3 + 0.1679Y4 + 0.1094Y5. On this basis, 21 producing areas were grouped into 4 groups and 3 groups by Q-type CA, respectively. R-type CA showed that the content of hydroxyl-sanshools, linalool content and b* value were the quality characteristic indexes of Z. armatum in Southwest China. This work provided an important theory and practice reference for Z. armatum quality evaluation and in-depth product development.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of blood lipids on the lesion distribution pattern in patients with acute ischemic stroke by using MRI technology based on population standard spatial analysis. Methods: The MRI data of 1 202 patients with acute ischemic stroke in General Hospital of Eastern Theater Command from January 2015 to December 2020 and Nanjing First Hospital from January 2013 to December 2021 were retrospectively collected, including 871 males and 331 females, aged 26 to 94 (64±11) years. According to the condition of blood lipids, they were divided into the dyslipidemia group (n=683) and the normal blood lipids group (n=519). After the automatic segmentation of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) images by artificial intelligence, the infarct sites were registered to the standard space which was used to draw the frequency heat map. The chi-square test was used to compare the difference in lesion location between the two groups. Generalized linear model regression analysis was used to observe the correlation between each blood lipid index and lesion site, and inter-group comparison and correlation analysis were used to observe the relationship between each blood lipid index and lesion volume. Results: Compared with the normal blood lipid group, the lesions in the dyslipidemia group were more extensive, mostly distributed in the occipital temporal region of the right posterior cerebral artery and the frontal region of the left middle cerebral artery. The brain regions of higher triglyceride(TG) and higher low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) groups were concentrated in the posterior circulation. The brain regions in the higher total cholesterol(TC) and lower high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) groups were concentrated in the anterior circulation(all P<0.05). In the anterior circulation infarct volume, the higher TC group was significantly higher than the normal TC group[(27.58±5.34) vs (17.73±1.18)ml, P=0.029]. In the posterior circulation infarct volume, the higher LDL-C group and the TG group were significantly higher than the normal LDL-C and TG groups[(7.55±2.51) vs (3.55±0.31) ml; (5.76±1.19) vs (3.36±0.30) ml](both P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that TC and LDL-C were non-linearly (U-shaped) correlated with anterior circulation infarct volume (both P<0.05). Conclusions: Different blood lipids have effects on the distribution pattern and volume of ischemic stroke infarcts. Different hyperlipidemia is related to the specific distribution site and the larger extent of infarction.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of tensile force on vascular lumen formation in three-dimensional printed tissue. Methods: The experimental research method was used. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were extracted from discarded umbilical cord tissue of 3 healthy women (aged 22 to 35 years) who gave birth in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Suzhou Ruihua Orthopaedic Hospital from September 2020 to May 2021. Human skin fibroblasts (HSFs) were extracted from discarded normal skin tissue of 10 male patients (aged 20 to 45 years) who underwent wound repair in the Department of Hand Surgery of Suzhou Ruihua Orthopaedic Hospital from September 2020 to September 2022. After identification of the two kinds of cells, the 4th to 6th passage of cells were taken for the follow-up experiments. HUVECs and HSFs were used as seed cells, and polycaprolactone, gelatin, hyaluronic acid, and fibrin were used as scaffold materials, and the three-dimensional printed vascularized tissue was created by three-dimensional bioprinting technology. The printed tissue with polycaprolactone scaffold of 6 and 10 mm spacing, and without polycaprolactone scaffold were set as 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group, 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group, and non-polycaprolactone group, respectively. After 4 days of culture, the printed tissue in 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group was selected to detect the cell survival by cell viability detection kit, and the cell survival rate was calculated. After 14 days of culture, the printed tissue in three groups were taken, and the shape change of tissue was observed by naked eyes; immunofluorescence staining was performed to observe the arrangement of filamentous actin, and lumen diameter, total length, and number of branches of vessel in the tissue. The tissue with micro-spring structure in the above-mentioned three groups was designed, printed, and cultured for 9 days, and the tensile force applied in the printed tissue was measured according to the force-displacement curve. The number of samples was all 3 in the above experiments. Data were statistically analyzed with one-way analysis of variance and Tukey test. Results: After 4 days of culture, the cell survival rate in printed tissue in 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group was (91.3±2.2)%. After 14 days of culture, the shape change of printed tissue in non-polycaprolactone group was not obvious, while the shape changes of printed tissue in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group and 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group were obvious. After 14 days of culture, the arrangement of filamentous actin in the printed tissue in non-polycaprolactone group had no specific direction, while the arrangement of filamentous actin in the printed tissue in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group and 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group had a specific direction. After 14 days of culture, The vascular lumen diameters of the printed tissue in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group and 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group were (6.0±1.3) and (10.8±1.3) μm, respectively, which were significantly larger than 0 μm in non-polycaprolactone group (P<0.05), and the vascular lumen diameter of printed tissue in 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group was significantly larger than that in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group (P<0.05); the total length and number of branches of blood vessel in the printed tissue in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group and 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group were significantly shorter or less than those in non-polycaprolactone group (P<0.05), and the total length and number of branches of blood vessel in the printed tissue in 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group were significantly shorter or less than those in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group. After 9 days of culture, the tensile forces applied in the printed tissue in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group and 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group were (2 340±59) and (4 284±538) μN, respectively, which were significantly higher than 0 μN in non-polycaprolactone group (P<0.05), and the tensile force applied in the printed tissue in 10 mm spacing polycaprolactone group was significantly higher than that in 6 mm spacing polycaprolactone group (P<0.05). Conclusions: The three-dimensional printed scaffold structure can exert different tensile force in the printed tissue, and the vascular lumen diameter of the printed tissue can be regulated by adjusting the tensile force.

Abstract
Milk protein concentrate (MPC) is one of the major allergens in food. This study aimed to analyze the peptide profiles and potential allergenicity of the extensive hydrolysates of MPC (EMPHs) using the peptidomics approach. Results demonstrated that when the hydrolysis time was 4 h, the degree of hydrolysis of the four EMPHs (AX, Alcalase-Protamex), (AD, Alcalase-Protease A 2SD), (AE, Alcalase-Flavourzyme) and (AH, Alcalase-ProteAXH) were 12.45 %, 18.48 %, 18.87 % and 16.77 %, respectively. The results of size exclusion chromatography showed no significant difference, when the hydrolysis time exceeded 3 h. A total of 16 allergic peptides were identified in the EMPHs by LC-MS/MS. The peptide profiles and the coverage of master protein of the four EMPHs were different. The results of the enzyme-linked immunoassay and KU812 cell model showed that the allergenicity of the EMPHs samples was significantly reduced. This study provided strong support for the application of EMPHs in hypoallergenic formula foods.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the factors influencing total bilirubin elevation and its correlation with UGT1A1 gene polymorphism in the early postoperative period of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS). Methods: 104 cases with portal hypertension and esophageal variceal hemorrhage (EVB) treated with elective TIPS treatment were selected as the study subjects and were divided into a bilirubin-elevated group and a normal bilirubin group according to the total bilirubin elevation level during the early postoperative period. Univariate analysis and logistic regression were used to analyze the factors influencing total bilirubin elevation in the early postoperative period. PCR amplification and first-generation sequencing technology were used to detect the polymorphic loci of the UGT1A1 gene promoter TATA box, enhancer c.-3279 T > G, c.211G > A, and c.686C > A. Logistic regression was used to analyze the correlation of four locus alleles and genotypes with elevated total bilirubin in the early postoperative period. Results: Among the 104 cases, 47 patients were in the bilirubin elevated group, including 35 males (74.5%) and 12 females (25.5%), aged (50.72 ± 12.56) years. There were 57 cases in the normal bilirubin group, including 42 males (73.7%) and 15 females (26.3%), aged (51.63 ± 11.10) years. There was no statistically significant difference in age (t = -0.391, P = 0.697) and gender (χ(2) = 0.008, P = 0.928) between the two groups of patients. Univariate analysis revealed that preoperative alanine transaminase (ALT) level (χ(2) = 5.954, P = 0.015), total bilirubin level (χ(2) = 16.638, P < 0.001), MELD score (χ(2) = 10.054, P = 0.018), Child-Pugh score (χ(2) = 6.844, P = 0.022), and postoperative portal vein branch development (χ(2) = 6.738, P = 0.034) were statistically significantly different between the two groups. Logistic regression analysis showed that preoperative ALT level, total bilirubin level, and portal vein branch development after TIPS were correlated with the elevated total bilirubin in the early postoperative period. The polymorphism of the c.211G > A locus of the UGT1A1 gene correlation had elevated total bilirubin in the early postoperative period of TIPS. The risk of elevated total bilirubin was increased in the population carrying allele A (P = 0.001, OR = 4.049) in the early postoperative period. Allelic polymorphisms in the TATA box promoter region and enhancer c.-3279 T > G and c.686C > A had no statistically significant difference between the bilirubin-elevated group and the normal bilirubin group. Conclusion: The preoperative ALT level, total bilirubin level, and portal vein branch development are correlated with the elevated total bilirubin in early postoperative patients. The polymorphisms of the UGT1A1 gene and enhancer c.211G > A are correlated with the occurrence of elevated total bilirubin in the early postoperative period of TIPS. Allele A carrier may have a higher risk of elevated total bilirubin in the early postoperative period.

Abstract
In periodic systems, band degeneracies are typically protected and classified by spatial symmetries. However, in photonic systems, the Γ point at zero frequency is an intrinsic degeneracy due to the polarization degree of freedom of electromagnetic waves. For chiral photonic crystals, such an intrinsic degeneracy carries ±2 chiral topological charge while having linear band dispersions, different from the general perception of charge-2 nodes being associated with quadratic dispersions. Here, we show that these topological characters originate from the spin-1 Weyl point at zero frequency node of triple degeneracy, due to the existence of an electrostatic flat band. Such a topological charge at zero frequency is usually buried in bulk band projections and has never been experimentally observed. To address this challenge, we introduce space-group screw symmetries in the design of chiral photonic crystal, which makes the Brillouin zone boundary an oppositely charged nodal surface enclosing the Γ point. As a result, the emergent Fermi arcs are forced to connect the projections of these topological singularities, enabling their experimental observation. The number of Fermi arcs then directly reveals the embedded topological charge at zero frequency.

Abstract
A low-cost flexible spectroscopic refractive index matching (SRIM) material with bandpass filtering properties without incidence angle and polarization dependence by randomly dispersing inorganic C a F 2 particles in organic polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) materials was proposed in our previous study. Since the micron size of the dispersed particles is much larger than the visible wavelength, the calculation based on the commonly used finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method to simulate light propagation through the SRIM material is too bulky; however, on the other hand, the light tracing method based on Monte Carlo theory in our previous study cannot adequately explain the process. Therefore, a novel approximate calculation model, to the best of our knowledge, based on phase wavefront perturbation is proposed that can well explain the propagation of light through this SRIM sample material and can also be used to approximate the soft scattering of light through composite materials with small refractive index differences, such as translucent ceramics. The model simplifies the complex superposition of wavefront phase disturbances and the calculation of scattered light propagation in space. The scattered and nonscattered light ratios; the light intensity distribution after transmission through the spectroscopic material; and the influence of absorption attenuation of the PDMS organic material on the spectroscopic performance are also considered. The simulation results based on the model are in great agreement with the experimental results. This work is important to further improve the performance of SRIM materials.

Abstract
A conventional pulse oximeter system is composed of two light sources with different peak emission wavelengths and a photodetector. Integrating these three independent components into one single device will absolutely simplify the system design and create a miniaturized size of the product. Here, we demonstrate a bilayer perovskite-CdSe quantum dot (hereafter perovskite-QD) diode capable of voltage-tunable green/red emission and photodetection. The proposed diode also presents an intriguing feature of simultaneous light emission and detection, which is explored as regards the diode being used as a photoconductor when the positive bias is larger than the built-in voltage. The multifunctional and multicolor diode is further employed in a reflective pulse oximeter system, as either the multicolor light sources or the sensing unit in the system provide accepted and trustful results for heart rate and arterial blood oxygenation. Our work provides a possible avenue for the simplification of the pulse oximetry with a compact and miniaturized design in the future.

Abstract
The use of non-conventional starch sources to develop biodegradable and bioactive starch-based films have attracted increasing attention recently. In this study, a nonconventional chayote tuber starch (CTS) was functionalized by zein-pectin nanoparticle-stabilized cinnamon essential oil (CEO) Pickering emulsion (ZPCO) to develop a novel bioactive composite films for food packaging application. Results demonstrated that antibacterial ZPCO featuring long-term stability was successfully obtained. FTIR and SEM analyses suggested that ZPCO have favorable dispersibility and compatibility with CTS matrix. With ZPCO increasing, the transmittance, tensile strength, and moisture content of composite films decreased, whereas their elongation at break, antimicrobial and antioxidant activities increased. ZPCO added at an appropriate level (2 %) can improve water-resistance of the films and reduce water vapor permeability. More importantly, ZPCO can achieve a slower sustained-release of CEO from composite films into food simulants. Furthermore, the composite film containing 2 % ZPCO is safe and nontoxic as proved by cell cytotoxicity test, and it can significantly prolong the shelf life of ground beef by showing the lowest total volatile base nitrogen and best acceptable sensory characteristic. Overall, the incorporation of ZPCO into CTS films offers a great potential application as a bioactive material in the food packing.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the rate of periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) revision surgeries and clinical information of hip-/knee- PJI cases nationwide from 2015 to 2017 in China. Methods: An epidemiological investigation. A self-designed questionnaire and convenience sampling were used to survey 41 regional joint replacement centers nationwide from November 2018 to December 2019 in China. The PJI was diagnosed according to the Musculoskeletal Infection Association criteria. Data of PJI patients were obtained by searching the inpatient database of each hospital. Questionnaire entries were extracted from the clinical records by specialist. Then the differences in rate of PJI revision surgery between hip- and knee- PJI revision cases were calculated and compared. Results: Total of 36 hospitals (87.8%) nationwide reported data on 99 791 hip and knee arthroplasties performed from 2015 to 2017, with 946 revisions due to PJI (0.96%). The overall hip-PJI revision rate was 0.99% (481/48 574), and it was 0.97% (135/13 963), 0.97% (153/15 730) and 1.07% (193/17 881) in of 2015, 2016, 2017, respectively. The overall knee-PJI revision rate was 0.91% (465/51 271), and it was 0.90% (131/14 650), 0.88% (155/17 693) and 0.94% (179/18 982) in 2015, 2016, 2017, respectively. Heilongjiang (2.2%, 40/1 805), Fujian (2.2%, 45/2 017), Jiangsu (2.1%, 85/3 899), Gansu (2.1%, 29/1 377), Chongqing (1.8%, 64/3 523) reported relatively high revision rates. Conclusions: The overall PJI revision rate in 34 hospitals nationwide from 2015 to 2017 is 0.96%. The hip-PJI revision rate is slightly higher than that in the knee-PJI. There are differences in revision rates among hospitals in different regions.

Abstract
As countries around the world pay more attention to environmental protection, the corresponding emission regulations have become more stringent. Exhaust pollutants cause great harm to the environment and people, and diesel engines are one of the most important sources of pollution. Diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology has proven to be the most effective way to control and treat soot. In this paper, we review the latest research progress on DPF regeneration and ash. Passive regeneration, active regeneration, non-thermal plasma-assisted DPF regeneration and regeneration mechanism, DPF regeneration control assisted by engine management, and uncontrolled DPF regeneration and its control strategy are mainly introduced. In addition, the source, composition, and deposition of ash are described in detail, as well as the effect of ash on the DPF pressure drop and catalytic performance. Finally, the issues that need to be further addressed in DPF regeneration research are presented, along with challenges and future work in ash research. Over all, composite regeneration is still the mainstream regeneration method. The formation of ash is complex and there are still many unanswered questions that require further in-depth research.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the predictive performance of image quantitative index model, clinical-laboratory index model and image-clinical multi-dimensional fusion model in predicting the prognosis of patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) with intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH). Methods: A total of 349 patients with aSAH and IVH, including 122 males and 227 females, aged 22 to 85 (59±11) years underwent CT scan in the General Hospital of Eastern Theater Command from January 2010 to December 2019 were used as dataset 1 to construct a prognostic model. A prognostic model was constructed for data set 1, and the functional recovery of patients 12 months after discharge was evaluated using the modified Rankin Scale (mRS). According to the results, those patients were divided into two groups: good outcome group (n=267) and poor outcome group (n=82). In addition, 63 aSAH patients with IVH, including 27 males and 36 females, aged 32 to 87 (61±12) years who were admitted to the General Hospital of Eastern Theater Command from January 2020 to December 2021 were collected as dataset 2 for independent verification of the model, including 30 patients with poor prognosis. Clinical information (age and gender), laboratory indicators (blood routine and blood biochemistry), and imaging quantitative indicators (such as volume, density, shape of each ventricle hemorrhage area outlined and extracted on head CT scan etc.) were recorded for all patients (dataset 1 and 2). The clinical, laboratory and imaging quantitative indicators of dataset 1 were screened by using L1 regularization and multiple logistic regression method was used to construct the clinical-laboratory index model, image quantitative index model and image-clinical multi-dimensional fusion model, according to the weight coefficient of features in the clinical-laboratory index model and image quantitative index model, screen out the main features. The model was trained and internally validated by 5-fold cross-validation. The model was validated independently in dataset 2. Results: The AUC (area under the ROC curve) of clinical-laboratory index model, image quantitative index model and multidimensional fusion model constructed based on dataset 1 were 0.75 (95%CI: 0.69-0.81), 0.68 (95%CI: 0.61-0.74) and 0.86 (95%CI: 0.82-0.91). The Delong test showed that there were statistically significant differences between the performance of the multi-dimensional fusion model and the clinical-laboratory index model or image quantitative index model (all P<0.05). The AUC of clinical-laboratory index model, image quantitative index model and multidimensional fusion model of dataset 2 were 0.79 (95%CI: 0.68-0.91), 0.70 (95%CI: 0.57-0.83) and 0.81 (95%CI: 0.70-0.92). In addition, in the clinical-laboratory index model and imaging quantitative index model constructed based on data 1, age, Hunt-Hess grade on admission, Neutrophil/Lymphocyte (N/L) (the weight coefficients in the clinical-laboratory index model were 1.00, -0.59 and 0.44) and the standard deviation of third ventricle hemorrhage density, minimum hemorrhage density of the fourth ventricle, and left ventricle hemorrhage sphericity (the weight coefficients in the image quantitative index model were -1.00, 0.85 and -0.84) were the main features of the screening. Conclusions: Quantitative imaging indicators of ventricular hemorrhage (standard deviation of third ventricular hemorrhage density, minimum density of fourth ventricular hemorrhage, and left ventricular sphericity) are helpful to predict the poor prognosis of patients with aSAH with ventricular hemorrhage. Dimensional fusion model has greater value in predicting poor prognosis of patients.

Abstract
Diesel particulate filter (DPF) is considered as an effective method to control particulate matter (PM) emissions from diesel engines, which is included in the mandatory installation list by more and more national/regional laws and regulations, such as CHINA VI, Euro VI, and EPA Tier3. Due to the limited capacity of DPF to contain PM, the manufacturer introduced a method of treating deposited PM by oxidation, which is called regeneration. This paper comprehensively summarizes the most advanced regeneration technology, including filter structure, new catalyst formula, accurate soot prediction, safe and reliable regeneration strategy, uncontrolled regeneration and its control methods. In addition, due to the change of working conditions in the regeneration process, the additional emissions during regeneration are discussed in this paper. The DPF is not only the aftertreatment device but also can be combined with diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and exhaust recirculation (EGR). In addition, the impact of DPF modification on the original system of some old models has been reasonably discussed in order to achieve emission targets.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to establish a method for free vancomycin concentration determination in human plasma and apply it to clinical therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM). The unbound vancomycin in plasma was separated by the hollow fiber centrifugal ultrafiltration (HFCF-UF) technique and analyzed by HPLC. Chromatographic conditions were optimized, the specificity, linearity, precision, recovery and stability of the method were examined, and plasma samples of patients were measured. The standard curve for free vancomycin is y = 0.0277x - 0.0080 with good linearity within 0.25-50 μg·mL-1 . The relative and absolute recovery rates for vancomycin were 98.63-101.0% and 88.41-101.2%, respectively. The intraday and interday precision RSDs were <10%. Plasma was stable under several conditions. The TDM value of the free vancomycin concentration of 20 patients was 0.99-38.51 μg·mL-1 , and the correlation between the free and total concentrations was not significant. The unbound fraction of vancomycin ranged from 25.5 to 84.8%, with large variation. The operation of free vancomycin separation by HFCF-UF was simple and suitable for TDM in practice. The unbound fraction of vancomycin in clinical samples varied significantly between individuals. It is recommended to perform free concentration TDM in critically ill patients.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of CT-guided radiofrequency ablation of posterior root of spinal nerve in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Methods: A total of 102 PHN patients (42 males and 60 females) aged (69.7±9.4) years who underwent CT-guided radiofrequency ablation of posterior root of spinal nerve in the Department of Pain Medicine of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiaxing University from January 2017 to April 2020 were retrospectively included. Patients were followed up, and numerical rating scale (NRS) score, Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), satisfaction score and complications before surgery (T0) and at 1 d (T1), 3 months (T2), 6 months (T3), 9 months (T4) and 12 months (T5) after surgery were recorded. Results: The NRS score of PHN patients at T0, T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5 [M(Q1, Q3)] was 6(6, 7), 2(2, 3), 3(2, 4), 3(2, 4), 2(1, 4), 2(1, 4), respectively. Likewise, the PSQI score [M(Q1, Q3)] at aforementioned time points was 14(13, 16), 4(3, 6), 6(4, 8), 5(4, 6), 4(2, 8), 4(2, 9), respectively. Compared with T0, the NRS and PSQI scores at all time points from T1 to T5 were lower, with statistically significant differences (all P<0.001). The overall effective rate of surgery at 1 year postoperatively was 71.6% (73/102) with a satisfaction score of 8(5, 9), and the recurrence rate was 14.7% (15/102) with a recurrence time of (7.5±0.8) months. The main postoperative complication was numbness, with an incidence of 86.0% (88/102), and the degree of numbness gradually decreased with time. Conclusion: CT-guided radiofrequency ablation of posterior root of spinal nerve for PHN has a high effective rate and a low recurrence rate, with high safety profile, and may be a feasible surgical option for the treatment of PHN.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the preoperative whole perforator evaluation and intraoperative eccentric design of anterolateral thigh flap (ALTF) based on superficial fascial perforators by modified computed tomography angiography (CTA), and the clinical effects were observed. Methods: A prospective observational study was adopted. Twelve patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors and 10 patients with open injury of the upper limb with large soft tissue defects were hospitalized in the Department of Hand & Microsurgery and Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University from January 2021 to July 2022, with 12 males and 10 females, aged from 33 to 75 years, an average age of 56.6 years. The wounds of the patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors were reconstructed by ALTF after the extensive tumor resection and radical cervical lymph node dissection in the same stage; the wounds of the patients with skin and soft tissue defect on the upper limb were covered by ALTF in stage Ⅱ after debridement in stage Ⅰ. After debridement, the area of wound was 3.5 cm×3.5 cm-25.0 cm×10.0 cm and the area of the required flap area was 4.0 cm×4.0 cm-23.0 cm×13.0 cm. Modified CTA scan was performed on the donor site of ALTF before the operation, with the parameters of modified CTA being set to mainly reduce the tube voltage and tube current, and increase the contrast dose and the dual phase scan. The acquired image data were sent to GE AW 4.7 workstation and adopted the volume reconstruction function for visual reconstruction and evaluation of the whole perforator. The information of perforator and source artery was marked on the body surface before operation according to the above evaluation. During the operation, an eccentric flap centered on the visible superficial fascia whole perforator was designed and cut according to the desired flap area and shape. The donor sites of the flap were repaired by direct sutures or full-thickness skin grafts. The total radiation dose was compared between the modified CTA scan and the traditional CTA scan. The distribution of outlet point of perforator of double thighs, the length and direction of superficial fascia perforators based modified CTA were recorded. The type, number, and origin of the target perforator, distribution of of outlet point of perforator, and the diameter, course, and branch of the source artery observed before the operation were compared with those observed during the operation. The healing of donor site wound and the survival of flaps in recipient site were observed after operation. The texture and appearance of flap, oral and upper limb functions, and the functions of femoral donor sites were followed up. Results: The total radiation dose of modified CTA scan was lower than that of the traditional CTA scan. A total of 48 perforators of double thighs were observed, among which, 31 (64.6%) perforators went outward and downward, 9 (18.8%) perforators went inward and downward, 6 (12.5%) perforators went outward and upward, and 2 (4.2%) perforators went inward and upward, and the average length of superficial fascia perforators was 19.94 mm. The preoperative observed type, number, and source of the perforator, the distribution of the outlet point of the perforator, diameter, course, and branches of the source artery were basically consistent with the intraoperative exploration. The types of 15 septocutaneous (including musculoseptocutaneous) perforators and 10 musculocutaneous perforators observed before the operation was consistent with intraoperative exploration. The distance between the mark of the surface perforator point and the actual exit point of the perforator during operation was (0.38±0.11) mm. All flaps survived without vascular crisis. The donor site wounds of 5 cases of skin grafting and 17 cases of direct suturing wounds healed well. The postoperative follow-up was 2 months to 1 year, with an average of 8.2 months, the flaps were soft and slightly bloated; the function of diet and mouth closing was accessible in patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors, the speech function was mildly impaired in patients with tongue cancer, but they could complete basic oral communication; the wrist and elbow joints and forearm rotation function were not significantly limited in patients with upper limb soft tissue injuries; there was no obvious tightness in the donor sites, and the function of the hip and knee joints was not limited. Conclusions: The whole perforator and even the subcutaneous perforator of the donor site of ALTF can be evaluated by modified CTA, and the flap can be used in oral or maxillofacial reconstruction and repair of skin and soft tissue defects of upper limbs to achieve good results. By clarifying the type, number, and source of the perforator, the distribution of the outlet point of the perforator, diameter, course, and branches of the source artery before the operation, the eccentric design of the ALTF based on the superficial fascia perforator was realized. This study has strong guiding value.

Abstract
Nanozymes have potential applications in many fields, and a novel copper-containing nanozyme with highly dispersity and uniformity was self-assembled for efficient degradation of various organic dyes in this work. In the nanozyme, histidine was used to coordinate with copper ions, and hydrogen peroxide was prone to Fenton-like reaction to generate hydroxylated copper oxide intermediates. The nanozyme showed good peroxidase-like activity, and also had the ability to catalyze the degradation of various organic dyes efficiently with good storage and recycling ability. Furthermore, the degradation kinetics and mechanism of nanozyme had been further studied, and found that hydroxyl radical and singlet oxygen play vital roles in the catalytic degradation process. Meanwhile, this nanozyme can efficiently degrade two organic compounds at the same time, and this system is capable of dealing with complex practical application scenarios where wastewater contains a variety of organic pollutants.

Abstract
Pectin is a complex polysaccharide found in plant cell walls and interlayers. As a food component, pectin is benefit for regulating intestinal flora. Metabolites of intestinal flora, including short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), bile acids (BAs) and lipopolysaccharides (LPS), are involved in blood glucose regulation. SCFAs promote insulin synthesis through the intestine-GPCRs-derived pathway and hepatic adenosine 5'-monophosphate (AMP)-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathway to promote hepatic glycogen synthesis. On the one hand, BAs stimulate intestinal L cells and pancreatic α cells to secrete Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and peptide YY (PYY) through receptors G protein-coupled receptor (TGR5) and farnesoid X receptor (FXR). On the other hand, BAs promote hepatic glycogen synthesis through AMPK pathway. LPS inhibits the release of inflammatory cytokines through Toll-like receptors (TLRs)-myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MYD88) pathway and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, thereby alleviating insulin resistance (IR). In brief, both SCFAs and BAs promote GLP-1 secretion through different pathways, employing strategies of increasing glucose consumption and decreasing glucose production to maintain normal glucose levels. Notably, pectin can also directly inhibit the release of inflammatory cytokines through the -TLRs-MYD88 pathway. These data provide valuable information for further elucidating the relationship between pectin-intestinal flora-glucose metabolism.

Abstract
Background Nowadays, the number of patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) complicated by end-stage renal disease (ESKD) is increasing. There are significant challenges in anticoagulation with prescription drugs because of the high risk of bleeding and embolism among these patients. However, no randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of warfarin in combination with any non-vitamin K oral anticoagulant (NOACs) have been performed in patients with baseline creatinine clearance (CrCl) <25 ml/min, which makes it difficult to justify the use of anticoagulants in such patients. Then, we aimed to collect and summarize all evidence to enable the anticoagulation of rivaroxaban, which is less cleared by the kidneys, in patients with severe renal insufficiency and to complement and improve the evidence on the use of rivaroxaban for anticoagulation. Methods The present systematic review and meta-analysis searched the databases of PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, CBM, and Google Scholar for relevant studies from inception to 1 June 2022, with the restriction of English and Chinese. Eligible cohort studies and RCTs that reported efficacy outcomes [composite of stroke and systemic embolism (SSE), ischemic stroke (ICS), and systemic embolization] or safety outcomes [major bleeding, intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), and gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB)] of rivaroxaban in NVAF patients with ESKD were enrolled. Two authors completed the data extraction and quality assessment work, respectively. The Cochrane Collaboration tool for assessing the risk of bias was used for RCTs, and the NEW-Castle Ottawa scale was used for study quality assessment for cohort studies. Dichotomous variables were calculated as risk factors with 95% confidence intervals (CIs), and meta-analysis was performed to probe the effect of research design, rivaroxaban dose, and controlled drug factors on outcomes. Results In total, three studies were included for meta-analysis, involving 6,071 NVAF patients with ESKD, and two studies were included for qualitative analysis. All included studies were at low risk of bias. A meta-analysis demonstrated that mix-dose rivaroxaban caused no statistical discrepancy in the occurrence of thrombotic and bleeding events when compared to the control group (embolism, LogOR: -0.64, 95% CI: -1.05 to -0.23, P:0.25; bleeding, LogOR: -0.33, 95% CI: -0.63 to -0.03, P:0.15), and low-dose rivaroxaban produced similar results (embolism, LogOR: -1.04, 95% CI: -2.15 to 0.07, P:0.61; bleeding, LogOR: -0.81, 95% CI: -1.19 to -0.44, P:0.93). Conclusion In this study, low-dose rivaroxaban (10 mg, once a day) may benefit more than warfarin in patients with NVAF and ESKD. Abstract
Combining the killing ability of chemotherapy drugs on tumor cells with the inhibiting ability of genetic drugs on tumor cell growth, a dual drug delivery system loaded with therapy drugs and siRNA has gradually received more and more research and extensive attention. In this paper, we designed a DNA nano-assembly based on rolling circle amplification that can co-deliver doxorubicin (Dox) and siRNA simultaneously. In order to fully exploit the potential of the dual loading system in cancer treatment, we selected STAT3 gene as a target and used siRNA to target STAT3 of mRNA and reduce the STAT3 expression in mouse melanoma cell line (B16); meanwhile, Dox as a chemotherapy drug was combined with multivalent aptamers specifically targeting B16 to achieve efficient delivery of siRNA and Dox. The results showed that the synergistic delivery system could achieve high efficiency in targeting and inhibiting proliferation in mouse melanoma cells. In addition, the synergistic effect of the dual delivery system on apoptosis of cancer cells was significantly better than that of single drug delivery systems.

Abstract
Nodal links are special configurations of band degeneracies in the momentum space, where nodal line branches encircle each other. In PT symmetric systems, nodal lines can be topologically characterized using the eigenvector frame rotations along an encircling loop and the linking structure can be described with non-Abelian frame charges involving adjacent bands. While the commutation rules between the frame charges are well established, the underlying relationship between distant band gap closing nodes remains to be explored. In this Letter, we present a photonic multiple nodal links system, where the nodal lines of nonadjacent bands are investigated with symmetry constraints on frame charges. Through an orthogonal nodal chain, the nodal line from the lower two bands predicts the existence of nodal lines formed between the higher bands. We designed and fabricated a metamaterial, with which the multiple nodal links and the topological connection between nonadjacent nodal lines are experimentally demonstrated.
