Abstract
Cadmium (Cd) and arsenic (As) co-contamination has threatened rice production and food safety. It is challenging to mitigate Cd and As contamination in rice simultaneously due to their opposite geochemical behaviors. Mg-loaded biochar with outstanding adsorption capacity for As and Cd was used for the first time to remediate Cd/As contaminated paddy soils. In addition, the effect of zero-valent iron (ZVI) on grain As speciation accumulation in alkaline paddy soils was first investigated. The effect of rice straw biochar (SC), magnesium-loaded rice straw biochar (Mg/SC), and ZVI on concentrations of Cd and As speciation in soil porewater and their accumulation in rice tissues was investigated in a pot experiment. Addition of SC, Mg/SC and ZVI to soil reduced Cd concentrations in rice grain by 46.1%, 90.3% and 100%, and inorganic As (iAs) by 35.4%, 33.1% and 29.1%, respectively, and reduced Cd concentrations in porewater by 74.3%, 96.5% and 96.2%, respectively. Reductions of 51.6% and 87.7% in porewater iAs concentrations were observed with Mg/SC and ZVI amendments, but not with SC. Dimethylarsinic acid (DMA) concentrations in porewater and grain increased by a factor of 4.9 and 3.3, respectively, with ZVI amendment. The three amendments affected grain concentrations of iAs, DMA and Cd mainly by modulating their translocation within plant and the levels of As(III), silicon, dissolved organic carbon, iron or Cd in porewater. All three amendments (SC, Mg/SC and ZVI) have the potential to simultaneously mitigate Cd and iAs accumulation in rice grain, although the pathways are different.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Periodontitis is a chronic multifactorial inflammatory disease which eventually lead to tooth loss (TL). Therefore, a retrospective study was conducted to evaluate the status of tooth survival within 11 years after non-surgical periodontal treatment (NSPT) and to analyze the risk factors especially crown-root ratio (CRR) that affected TL in Chinese with advanced periodontitis. METHODS 3481 teeth of 131 subjects who underwent NSPT were examined retrospectively within a mean follow-up period of 11.6 years. The association of risk factors including clinical and radiographic parameters with TL was assessed using univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses. Smooth curve fitting and segmented regression model were conducted to show the nonlinear relationship and the threshold effect between CRR and the risk of TL. RESULTS 347 teeth were lost in 97 patients in this study. Male, diabetes mellitus, heavy-smoker, molar, probing depth (PD), attachment loss (AL), bleeding on probing (BOP), tooth mobility, and radiographic bone loss were significantly associated with tooth loss (P < 0.05). A nonlinear relationship between CRR and the risk of TL was found, with different turning point values between molars and non-molars (1.9 vs. 2.76). CONCLUSIONS The findings based on practice-based clinical and radiographic data do suggest a nonlinear relationship between CRR and the survival of teeth, and provide evidence to help clinicians to determine the prognosis of teeth for patients with advanced periodontitis. CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE Based on clinical and radiographic data, this study provides an individualized basis for clinicians to judge the dental prognosis of patients with advanced periodontitis according to the different tooth sites.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Workers in healthcare and other essential occupations had elevated risks for COVID-19 infection early in the pandemic. No survey of U.S. workers to date has comprehensively assessed the prevalence of both COVID-19 and Long COVID across industries and occupations (I&O) at a detailed level. METHODS Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data for 2022 from 39 states, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands were used to estimate prevalence of self-reported history of COVID-19 and Long COVID, as well as the prevalence of Long COVID among those reporting prior COVID-19, by broad and detailed I&O. Adjusted prevalence ratios were used to compare outcome prevalence in each I&O to prevalence among all other workers combined. RESULTS By broad I&O, workers in healthcare, protective services, and education had elevated prevalences of COVID-19. The prevalence of Long COVID was elevated in healthcare and protective service but not education workers. Detailed I&O with significantly elevated prevalences of COVID-19 but not Long COVID included Dairy Product Manufacturing industry workers and subsets of mining workers. Both COVID-19 and Long COVID were elevated among bartenders/drinking places and personal care and appearance workers. The prevalence of Long COVID was elevated among farmworkers who reported having had COVID-19. CONCLUSIONS Industries and occupations with elevated levels of COVID-19 or Long COVID in this study may warrant increased measures to prevent transmission of airborne respiratory viruses. Accommodations are a key component for supporting workers in all workplaces. This new information about the distribution of Long COVID by I&O suggests where employer understanding and implementation of tailored workplace supports and accommodations are most needed to support continued employment of affected workers.

Abstract
AIM To develop a nomogram-based predictive model of tooth survival by comprehensively analysing clinical and radiographic risk factors of tooth loss (TL). MATERIALS AND METHODS In this study, 3447 teeth of 131 subjects who underwent non-surgical periodontal treatment were examined retrospectively within a mean follow-up period of 11.6 years. The association of risk factors including clinical and radiographic parameters with TL was assessed using univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses. A nomogram-based predictive model was developed, and its validation and discriminatory ability were analysed. RESULTS In all, 313 teeth were lost in 94 patients in this study (overall tooth loss [OTL] 9.08%; 0.21 teeth/patient/year). Male, heavy smoking, molar teeth, probing depth (PD), attachment loss (AL), tooth mobility and radiographic bone loss were significantly associated with TL (p < .05). A gradient effect of tooth mobility on TL increased from degree I to III versus none (p < .0001). The area under the curve (AUC) of the model was 0.865. Calibration curve and decision curve analysis demonstrated good performance and high net benefit, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Adopting a specific nomogram could facilitate the prediction of tooth survival and the development of tailored treatment plans in Chinese patients with advanced periodontitis.

Abstract
Sporadic studies have reported the occurrence of nasopalatine duct cysts after maxillary anterior implant surgery, and the treatment methods still have clinical uncertainty. We report a potential therapy method that successfully treated a nasopalatine duct cyst that developed and expanded 1 year after maxillary anterior implant placement following periodontally hopeless teeth extraction. The nasopalatine cyst was treated surgically without removing implants. During flap surgery, the cyst was removed intact, and the exposed implant's surface was debrided thoroughly by hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) rinsing, glycine air polishing, and saline rinsing. To deal with the significant bone defect caused by the cyst, a bovine porous bone mineral injected platelet-rich fibrin (BPBM-i-PRF) complex was applied to fill the defect, following a resorbable collagen membrane to cover. Seven years after surgery, no cyst recurrence was observed, and bone regeneration in the bone graft area was stable. The implants functioned well without mobility. For nasopalatine duct cysts associated with dental implant placement, complete surgical debridement and longitudinal stable bone regeneration are possibly accessible by regenerative surgery without implant removal.

Abstract
An in-depth understanding of structure-activity relationship between the phase constitution and solar-to-hydrogen (STH) conversion efficiency is conducive to guiding the optimization route of targeted photocatalyst candidates, further establishing advanced photocatalytic systems. Herein, based on the concept of phase engineering, we encompassed the crystalline phase of CdS and achieved precise regulation of phase proportion as well as phase boundary width in the phase junction for the first time. The above cooperative effect not only modifies energy band distribution for sufficient redox potentials, but also guarantees the reverse migration orientation of photogenerated carriers in phase junction, thereby endowing photocarriers with a prolonged lifetime. Compared to pure cubic or hexagonal phase (72.6 or 101.1 μmol h-1 g-1), this CdS system with optimized phase junction demonstrates an improved photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of 1.04 mmol h-1 g-1 and favorable stability without cocatalyst assistance, which mainly stems from an efficient protons reduction process interacting with long-lived photogenerated electrons. This research explores the mechanism behind phase regulation and its relationship with junction capability, providing a powerful strategy to manipulate crystal phase distribution and paving a feasible avenue for other phase-dependent photocatalysts towards rational design of heterostructures based on different phases in solar energy conversion field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Vitrification is commonly used for in vitro fertilization and has significant impact on gametes. OBJECTIVE To investigate changes in ultrastructure, membrane potential and distribution of mitochondria in mouse oocytes after vitrification. MATERIALS AND METHODS Mouse oocytes were divided into three groups: one group as fresh control, one group for the toxicity test (treated with cryoprotectant but without vitrification), and the other for vitrification. RESULTS Most mitochondria in oocytes were damaged after cooling and warming, being rough and fuzzy in appearance, even swollen and broken. The membrane potential of the toxicity test group and the vitrification group was 0.320 +/-0.030 and 0.244 +/- 0.038, respectively, in comparison to the fresh group (0.398 +/- 0.043). The membrane potential of the vitrified oocytes was significantly lower than fresh oocytes and the toxicity test oocytes (P % 0.05), but there was no significant difference between fresh oocytes and the toxicity test oocytes (P > 0.05). Mitochondria in fresh oocytes were denser and strained stronger, with 59.5> distributed homogeneously and 36.4> polarized. The majority of mitochondria in the toxicity-tested oocytes were clustered (69.3>) and only a small portion were distributed homogeneously (19.6>), while mitochondria in vitrified oocytes were clustered (56.3>) and deficient (24.4>), and their fluorescent staining was weak and blurred. There was a significant disruption in mitochondrial function after vitrification. CONCLUSION Vitrification alters the ultrastructure, membrane potential and distribution of mitochondria in oocytes, most likely caused by toxicity and mechanical injury. Abstract
The composite laminated rotationally stiffened shell is widely applied in aviation, aerospace, ship, machinery and other fields. To investigate the vibration characteristics of composite laminated rotationally stiffened shells with varying elastic boundary conditions, a modeling method of composite laminated rotationally stiffened shells is established. Firstly, the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and the modified Fourier series method are effectively applied to establish the allowable displacement function of the composite laminated rotationally stiffened shell. Secondly, the energy function of composite laminated rotationally stiffened shell is established, and the simulation of complex elastic boundary and coupling boundary is realized by using artificial virtual spring technology. Thirdly, the Rayleigh-Ritz method is used to solve the energy function. Finally, the vibration characteristics of composite laminated rotationally stiffened shells are obtained and analyzed. In the analysis of numerical results, the fast and uniform convergence of analysis modeling and the accuracy of the calculated results are verified. On this basis, the effect of some important parameters such as thickness-to-radius ratio and length-to-radius ratio of shell, boundary spring stiffness values, cone apex angle, thickness and width of laminated beams, number of stiffeners on the vibration characteristics of composite laminated rotationally stiffened shell is studied. In theory, it makes up for the vibration characteristics analysis of composite laminated rotationally stiffened shells. In practical application, it guides the noise reduction design of related structures.

Abstract
Transition-metal species embedded in carbon have sparked intense interest in the fields of oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER). However, improvement of the electrocatalytic kinetics remains a challenge caused by the synergistic assembly. Here, we propose a biochemical strategy to fabricate the Co nanoparticles (NPs) and Co/Ni-N4-C co-embedded N-doped porous carbon (CoNPs&Co/Ni-N4-C@NC) catalysts via constructing the zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF)@yeast precursor. The rich amino groups provide the possibility for the anchorage of Co2+/Ni2+ ions as well as the construction of Co/Ni-ZIF@yeast through the yeast cell biomineralization effect. The functional design induces the formation of CoNPs and Co/Ni-N4-C sites in N-doped carbon as well as regulates the porosity for exposing such sites. Synergy of CoNPs, Co/Ni-N4-C, and porous N-doped carbon delivered excellent electrocatalytic kinetics (the ORR Tafel slope of 76.3 mV dec-1 and the OER Tafel slope of 80.4 mV dec-1) and a high voltage of 1.15 V at 10 mA cm-2 for the discharge process in zinc air batteries. It provides an effective strategy to fabricate high-performance catalysts.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the correlation between peri-implant probing depth (PPD) and radiographic bone level (rBL) in implants with peri-implantitis. Methods: From January 2019 to December 2022, 24 patients with 30 implants who suffered from peri-implantitis at the Department of Periodontology, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology were included in the present research. SPSS 26.0 software was used to simple random sampling select 30 healthy implants from which with electronic examination records in Department of Periodontology, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology from January 2007 to June 2023 as the control group. On the premise of retaining the implant prosthesis, PPD (distance between pocket bottom and peri-implant soft tissue margin) was examined using a Williams periodontal probe with a light force (about 0.2 N), and a total of 4 sites were recorded for each implant. Periapical radiography and cone beam CT were applied to measure the rBL (distance between the reference point at the neck of the implant and the apical point of the bone defect) and the width of the bone defect (DW), and the type of the bone defect was recorded. The correlation and consistency between the diagnosis of PPD and rBL were analyzed. Results: PPD was significantly correlated with rBL in a total of 60 implants in 180 sites (r=0.64, P<0.001). The chi-square test showed an 8.15-fold increase in the detection rate of PD≥6 mm at sites with rBL≥1 mm (P<0.001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that rBL was still statistically associated with PPD after adjustment for jaw position and examination position of implants. Take rBL <1 mm as reference, the odds ratios (OR) of 1 mm≤rBL<2 mm, 2 mm≤rBL<3 mm and rBL≥3 mm group with PPD were 6.23 (P=0.014), 2.77 (P=0.183) and 10.87 (P=0.001), respectively. Conclusions: There is a positive correlation between PPD and rBL in implants with peri-implantitis. PPD can be used as a clinical examination index to assist in estimating the level of peri-implant bone under the premise of retaining the prosthesis.

Abstract
Twins in crystal defect, one of the significant factors affecting the physicochemical properties of semiconductor materials, are applied in catalytic conversion. Among the catalysts serving for photocatalytic water splitting, Zn1- x Cdx S has become a hot-point due to its adjustable energy band structure. Via limiting mass transport to control the release rate of anions/cations, twin Zn1- x Cdx S solid solution is prepared successfully, which lays a foundation for the construction of other twin crystals in the future. On twin Zn1- x Cdx S, water tends to be dissociated after being adsorbed by Zn2+ /Cd2+ at twin boundary, then the fast-moving electrons at twin boundary quickly combine with the protons already attached to S2- to form hydrogen. According to the theoretical calculation, not only the intracrystalline electron mobility, but also the extracrystalline capacity of water-adsorption/dissociation and proton-adsorption on the twin boundary are superior to those of the counterpart plane in defect-free phase. The synthetic twin Zn1- x Cdx S apparent quantum efficiency of photocatalysis water splitting for hydrogen reached 82.5% (λ = 420 nm). This research opens up an avenue to introduce twins in crystals and it hopes to shed some light on photocatalysis.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the association between the occurrence of spermarche and menarche and psychological distress among Chinese Han children and adolescents aged 9 to 18 years. Methods: Data were drawn from the 2019 Chinese National Survey on Students' Constitution and Health, and a total of 54 438 boys aged 11 to 18 years and 76 376 girls aged 9 to 18 years with psychological distress, spermarche/menarche records were included in the final analysis. The occurrence of spermarche/menarche was recorded by physicians, and psychological distress was classified according to the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale scores. The chi-square test was used to compare the difference between groups in the occurrence of spermarche/menarche, and the multinomial logistic regression model and stratification analysis was established to analyze the association between psychological distress and spermarche/menarche. Results: The incidence of spermarche/menarche in 2019 ranged from 6.3% to 96.5% for eight age groups of Chinese boys and 2.8% to 99.0% for ten age groups of girls. The rates of high psychological distress among boys and girls were 32.5% and 32.7%. Among boys aged 11 to 18 years, the rate of high psychological distress increased with age, with a trend test P<0.001, and the difference in the rate of high psychological distress between those who had and had not had their spermarche was not statistically significant in all age groups. Among girls aged 9 to 18 years, the rate of high psychological distress increased with age, with a trend P<0.001; the rate of high psychological distress was higher in the group with menarche at age 10 and 12 than in the group without menarche (all P<0.05). High psychological distress was positively correlated with spermarche among boys aged 13-15 years living in urban areas and hight level economic development areas (OR=1.11, 95%CI: 1.02-1.21;OR=1.18, 95%CI: 1.06-1.32). Overall, high psychological distress was positively correlated with menarche in girls aged 9-12 and 13-15 years (OR=1.33, 95%CI: 1.25-1.42; OR=1.22, 95%CI: 1.07-1.39). High psychological distress was positively correlated with menarche among girls aged 9-12 years living in different regions except for the Northeast region, in areas with different levels of economic development, and in urban and rural areas, in girls aged 13-15 years living in urban, central, and western regions, and in girls aged 16-18 years residing in the central region. Conclusions: This study found an association between the occurrence of spermarche/menarche and psychological distress among Chinese Han children and adolescents aged 9 to 18 years in 2019, which was particularly significant among girls aged 9 to 12 years and boys aged 13 to 15 years living in areas with higher levels of socioeconomic development.

Objective: To describe the status of physical fitness of children and adolescents aged 13-18 years in China in 2019 and analyze its association with psychological distress. Methods: Data were drawn from the 2019 Chinese National Survey on Students' Constitution and Health, and 90 633 Han children and adolescents aged 13-18 years were included. Physical fitness was evaluated by "National Students Constitutional Health Standards" (2014 revised edition). Psychological distress was classified according to the scores of the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale: ≤19, 20-24, 25-29, and ≥30 scores indicated no, mild, moderate, and severe psychological distress, respectively, with moderate and severe psychological distress collectively referred to as high psychological distress. The χ2 test was used to compare the distribution differences between boys and girls, the Cochran-Armitage test was used to analyze the trend, and the multinomial logistic regression in the mixed effect model was established to analyze the association between physical fitness and psychological distress. Results: In 2019, the unqualified rate of physical fitness among children and adolescents aged 13-18 years in China was 17.2%, and the prevalence of excellent and good physical fitness was 18.2%, which was lower among boys (15.9%) than girls (20.5%) with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The excellent and good physical fitness rate showed a significantly decreasing trend with age (trend test P<0.05). The rate of high psychological distress among children and adolescents aged 13-18 years in China in 2019 was 39.3%, with boys (37.0%) having a lower prevalence than girls (41.6%), supported by a statistically significant difference (P<0.05), and a decreasing trend with the degree of physical fitness was observed both in boys and girls (trend test P<0.05). The multinomial logistic regression model showed that the prevalence of moderate (OR=0.83, 95%CI: 0.79-0.88, P<0.001) and severe (OR=0.81, 95%CI: 0.77-0.86, P<0.001) psychological distress were both lower in children and adolescents with excellent and good physical fitness. Conclusion: The status of physical fitness and psychological distress of Chinese children and adolescents aged 13-18 in 2019 was not optimistic, with physical fitness showing a significantly negative association with psychological distress.

Abstract
Objective: To describe the prevalence of psychological distress and to analyze its influencing factors among Chinese children and adolescents aged 9-18 years in 2019. Methods: Data was from the 2019 Chinese National Survey on Students' Constitution and Health, and 148 892 children and adolescents were included. Psychological distress was measured using the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10): scores ≤19 were defined as no psychological distress, scores between 20-24 were defined as mild psychological distress, scores between 25-29 were defined as moderate psychological distress, and scores ≥30 were defined as severe psychological distress (moderate to severe psychological distress were defined as high psychological distress). The ANOVA, t test, and χ2 test were used to compare the differences in K10 scores and high psychological distress rates among children and adolescents with different characteristics. The ANOVA and trend χ2 test were used to analyze the trends. Modified-Poisson regression models were used to determine influencing factors of high psychological distress. Results: The K10 scores for Chinese children and adolescents aged 9-18 years in 2019 was 21.5±9.2, and their rate of high psychological distress was 31.6%. The rates of high psychological distress among children and adolescents aged 9-12, 13-15, and 16-18 years were 22.3%, 35.9%, and 38.8%. K10 scores and rates of high psychological distress showed an increasing trend as age increased (trends test all P<0.001). K10 scores and rates of high psychological distress were higher among children and adolescents who were older, female, rural, in areas with medium to low GDP per capita level, and with lower parental education (all P<0.001). Multifactorial modified-Poisson regression analysis showed that children and adolescents aged 13-15 years, 16-18 years, female, rural, and in areas with low to moderate GDP per capita level were at higher risk of high psychological distress (all P<0.05), with aOR (95%CI) of 1.55 (1.52-1.58), 1.66 (1.63-1.69), 1.07 (1.05-1.09), 1.02 (1.01-1.04), 1.10 (1.07-1.12). Children and adolescents in areas with medium to high GDP per capita level, whose father had a secondary or high school degree, whose father had a college degree or above, whose mother had a secondary or high school degree, and whose mother had a college degree or above were at lower risk of high psychological distress (all P<0.05), with aOR (95%CI) of 0.96 (0.94-0.98), 0.92 (0.90-0.93), 0.84 (0.82-0.86), 0.95 (0.93-0.97), 0.86 (0.83-0.88). Conclusions: The prevalence of psychological distress was high among Chinese children and adolescents aged 9-18 years in 2019, which is a vital problem. Mental health interventions need to be implemented among children and adolescents that were older, girls, rural, live in areas with lower economic levels, and whose parents have a lower education level.

Abstract
The pursuit of high mass loading metal-organic framework (MOF) materials via a simple method is crucial to achieve high-performance supercapacitors. Herein, an amorphous NiCo-MOF material with a high mass loading of up to 10.3 mg cm-2 was successfully prepared using a mixed solvent system of ethanol and water. In addition, by adjusting the volume ratio of ethanol to water, amorphous NiCo-MOFs with three different morphologies including nanospheres, nanopores, and ultra-thick plates were obtained. It was found that the different solvent systems not only affected the growth rate of MOFs, but also controlled their nucleation rate by changing the coordination environment of the metal ions, and thus achieved morphology and mass loading regulation, thereby influencing their energy storage behavior. Notably, the optimum NiCo-MOF exhibited the superior specific capacitance of up to 9.7 F cm-2 (941.8 F g-1) at a current density of 5 mA cm-2 and high-rate capability of 71.1% even at 20 mA cm-2. Moreover, the corresponding assembled solid-state supercapacitor exhibited an excellent energy density of 0.65 mW h cm-2 at a power density of 2 mW cm-2 and capacity retention of 84.7% after 8000 cycles at 30 mA cm-2. Overall, this work proposes a feasible and effective strategy to achieve high mass loading NiCo-MOFs, impacting their ultimate electrochemical performance, which can possibly be further extended to other MOFs with superior capacitance.

Abstract
Magnesium alloys, among the lightest structural materials, represent excellent candidates for lightweight applications. However, industrial applications remain limited due to relatively low strength and ductility. Solid solution alloying has been shown to enhance Mg ductility and formability at relatively low concentrations. Zn solutes are significantly cost effective and common. However, the intrinsic mechanisms by which the addition of solutes leads to ductility improvement remain controversial. Here, by using a high throughput analysis of intragranular characteristics through data science approaches, we study the evolution of dislocation density in polycrystalline Mg and also, Mg-Zn alloys. We apply machine learning techniques in comparing electron back-scatter diffraction (EBSD) images of the samples before/after alloying and before/after deformation to extract the strain history of individual grains, and to predict the dislocation density level after alloying and after deformation. Our results are promising given that moderate predictions (coefficient of determination [Formula: see text] ranging from 0.25 to 0.32) are achieved already with a relatively small dataset ([Formula: see text] 5000 sub-millimeter grains).

Abstract
BACKGROUND Peri-implantitis is the most difficult biological complication associated with dental implants, often requiring surgical treatments in advanced stages. This study compares the effectiveness of different surgical methods for peri-implantitis. METHODS Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of different surgical treatments for peri-implantitis were extracted from EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library databases, and PubMed systematically. Pairwise comparisons and network meta-analyses (NMA) were conducted to analyze the effect of surgical treatments on probing depth (PD), radiographic bone fill (RBF), mucosal recession (MR), bleeding on probing (BOP), and clinical attachment level (CAL). In addition, risk of bias, quality of evidence, and statistical heterogeneity of the selected studies were evaluated. A total of 13 articles were included in this study, involving open flap debridement (OFD), resective therapy (RT), and augmentative therapy (AT) with and without adjunctive treatments (laser therapy, photodynamic therapy, local antibiotics, phosphoric acid, and ozone therapy). RESULTS AT improved RBF and CAL more than OFD, but does not outperform OFD in reducing peri-implant soft-tissue inflammation. AT, OFD and RT did not significantly alter the levels of MR. Addition of ozone therapy improved the effect of AT, but addition of photodynamic therapy did not affect PD reduction and CAL gain significantly. Similarly, adjuvant treatment with phosphoric acid during RT did not significantly change the outcome of BOP. CONCLUSIONS Within the limitation of this systematic review and NMA, AT was superior to OFD in improving peri-implantitis outcomes. While adjunct use of ozone therapy may further improve the efficacy of AT, the limited evidence supporting this combination therapy argues for cautionary interpretation of these results.

Abstract
THE OBJECTIVE This study aims to propose a new model to predict the specific treatment effectiveness at site level by analyzing massive amounts of periodontal clinical data with deep learning methods. THE BACKGROUND DATA DISCUSSING THE PRESENT STATUS OF THE FIELD In light of the low accuracy of current tools, the proposed models cannot fully meet the needs of clinical effectiveness prediction and cannot be applied to on site level prognosis development and formulation of specific treatment plan. MATERIALS AND METHODS Periodontal examination data of 9273 Chinese patients were extracted and used to propose a Sequence-to-Sequence model after performing data management and reconstruction. The model was optimized by introducing the Attention mechanism. RESULTS In the test set, the model obtained an average site-level probing depth (PD) accuracy (defined as the proportion of sites with <1 mm deviation of the predicted result from the true value) of 92.4% and high sensitivity (98.6%) for the pocket closure variable. For sites with baseline PD <5 mm, the model achieved a prediction accuracy of 94.6%, while it decreased to 79.9% at sites with PD ≥5 mm. In contrast, for teeth with initial mean PD ≥5 mm, the prediction accuracy significantly differed between molars and non-molars. CONCLUSION Our model is the first to predict the site-level effectiveness with high accuracy and sensitivity. Future prediction models should incorporate deep learning for improved clinical prediction.

Abstract
Subepithelial connective tissue or free gingival grafts are often used in traditional mucogingival surgery to treat gingival recession and keratinized gingival insufficiency. However, due to the disadvantages of autologous soft tissue grafts, such as the preparation of the second surgical site, the limited amount of tissue in the donor site, and postoperative discomfort for patients, the research on autologous soft tissue substitute materials has attracted extensive attention. A variety of donor-substitute materials from different sources are currently used in membranous gingival surgeries, including platelet-rich fibrin, acellular dermal matrix, xenogeneic collagen matrix, etc. This paper reviews the research progress and application of several different types of substitute materials in soft tissue augmentation for natural teeth, providing a reference for the application of autologous soft tissue substitutes in clinical gingival augmentation surgery.

Abstract
Hepatic fibrosis (HF) is a chronic hepatic pathological process induced by various liver injuries, with few available therapies. Previous research studies revealed that HF is characterized by the accumulation of excess extracellular matrix in the liver, mainly overexpressed by activated hepatic stellate cells (HSC). Therefore, HSC have been targeted in clinical trials for the management of HF. The aim of the present study was to develop an anti-HF drug delivery system with acrylic resin (Eudragit® RS100, Eud RS100) nanoparticles (NPs) through modification by retinoic acid (RA), modified for binding the retinol-binding protein reporter (RBPR) in HSC. Galangin (GA), is a multiple effects flavonoid which has demonstrated an anti-HF effect in our previous studies. In this study, GA was utilized for the treatment of HF. The results revealed that the NPs were well formed (diameter: 70 nm), spherical in shape, and exhibited uniform distribution and a high encapsulation efficiency. Moreover, a prominent controlled release effect and a significant increase in bioavailability was observed following the encapsulation of GA in NPs. These findings indicated that the limitation of low bioavailability due to the hydrophobic feature of GA was overcome. Furthermore, the pharmacodynamics studies demonstrated that NPs could drastically influence the anti-HF effects of GA after modification with retinoic acid. The results of the present study suggested that retinoic acid-modified GA NPs represent a promising candidate in the development of an anti-HF drug delivery system for the treatment of HF.

Abstract
Metal doping and electrochemical reconstruction had been demonstrated to play a significant role in the preparation of advanced electrode materials, which is helpful to achieve high-performance supercapacitors. However, there was no report about the combination of two technologies to construct electrode materials and their applications in supercapacitors. Herein, a rational Mn doped NiCo sulfide compound with open structure composed of 2D ultra-thin nanosheets was designed via a Mn doping route. In order to further improve the energy storage performance of the resulted product, we adopted a simple electrochemical activation strategy to reconstruct it. It was found that the reconstructed sample not only exhibited an irreversible evolution of structure (from 2D sheet to 3D channel), but also the phase transformation (from metal sulfide to metal hydroxide). Benefiting from the stable 3D curved structure with numerous channels, multitudinous charge transfer provided by numerous valence states of metals and copious active sites by low crystalline state, the in-situ self-reconstructed sample exhibited superior capacitance. In details, the optimized product delivered excellent specific capacitance of 1462C g-1 (3655F/g) at 1 A g-1 and high rate capability of 66 % even at 5 A g-1. Moreover, the corresponding assembled asymmetric supercapacitor exhibited an excellent energy density of 141.8 Wh kg-1 at a power density of 850.1 W kg-1, and the capacitance retention rate was 96.6 % even after 5000 cycles, which was distinctly superior than thoseofthe previous similarmaterialsreported. In a word, this work provided a feasible and effective strategy to construct 3D Mn doped NiCo hydroxide electrode materials toward high-performance supercapacitors.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the perceived exercise benefits and barriers and their association with physical activity time in Chinese Han children and adolescents aged 9-18 years. Methods: Data were extracted from the 2019 Chinese National Survey on Students' Constitution and Health and a total of 163 656 children and adolescents aged 9-18 years in Han ethnic group were included in the analysis. Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to compare the perceived exercise benefits score, perceived exercise barriers score and perceived exercise benefits to barriers ratio in the children and adolescents with different demographic characteristics and physical activity time. The differences in physical activity time in subgroups were compared with χ2 tests. log-binomial regression model was used to evaluate the association between physical activity time and perceived exercise benefits and barriers. Results: The M (Q1,Q3) of the perceived exercise benefits score, perceived exercise barriers score, and perceived exercise benefits to barriers ratio in the children and adolescents were 4.11 (3.78, 4.78), 2.70 (2.10, 3.20) and 1.55 (1.22, 2.07), respectively. Children and adolescents living in urban area, boys, those at younger age and those with physical activity time ≥1 hour had higher perceived exercise benefits score and perceived exercise benefits to barriers ratio, but lower perceived exercise barriers score (all P<0.001). The prevalence of physical activity time ≥1 hour was 41.4% in the children and adolescents. In the log-binomial model with two variables of perceived exercise benefits score and perceived exercise barriers score, for each 1-point increase in the perceived exercise benefits, the possibility of physical activity time ≥1 hour increased by 11% (OR=1.11, 95%CI: 1.10-1.12), and for each 1-point increase in the perceived exercise barriers, the possibility of physical activity time ≥1 hour decreased by 15% (OR=0.85, 95%CI: 0.84-0.85). In the log-binomial model with variable of perceived exercise benefits to barriers ratio, for each 1-point increase in the perceived exercise benefits to barriers ratio, the possibility of physical activity time ≥1 hour increased by 12% (OR=1.12, 95%CI: 1.11-1.12). Conclusion: The perceived exercise benefits and barriers are significantly associated with physical activity time in children and adolescents in China.
