Abstract
Insertions and deletions (indels) are the second most common type of variation in the human genome. However, limited data on their associations with exercise-related phenotypes have been documented. The aim of the present study was to examine the association between 18,370 indel variants and power athlete status, followed by additional studies in 357,246 individuals. In the discovery phase, the D allele of the MDM4 gene rs35493922 I/D polymorphism was over-represented in power athletes compared with control subjects (P = 7.8 × 10-9) and endurance athletes (P = 0.0012). These findings were replicated in independent cohorts, showing a higher D allele frequency in power athletes compared with control subjects (P = 0.016) and endurance athletes (P = 0.031). Furthermore, the D allele was positively associated (P = 0.0013) with greater fat-free mass in the UK Biobank. MDM4 encodes a protein that inhibits the activity of p53, which induces muscle fibre atrophy. Accordingly, we found that MDM4 expression was significantly higher in the vastus lateralis of power athletes compared with endurance athletes (P = 0.0009) and was positively correlated with the percentage of fast-twitch muscle fibres (P = 0.0062) and the relative area occupied by fast-twitch muscle fibres (P = 0.0086). The association between MDM4 gene expression and an increased proportion of fast-twitch muscle fibres was confirmed in two additional cohorts. Finally, we found that the MDM4 DD genotype was associated with increased MDM4 gene expression in vastus lateralis and greater cross-sectional area of fast-twitch muscle fibres. In conclusion, MDM4 is suggested to be a potential regulator of muscle fibre specification and size, with its indel variant being associated with power athlete status. HIGHLIGHTS: What is the central question of this study? Which indel variants are functional and associated with sport- and exercise-related traits? What is the main finding and its importance? Out of 18,370 tested indels, the MDM4 gene rs35493922 I/D polymorphism was found to be the functional variant (affecting gene expression) and the most significant, with the deletion allele showing associations with power athlete status, fat-free mass and cross-sectional area of fast-twitch muscle fibres. Furthermore, the expression of MDM4 was positively correlated with the percentage of fast-twitch muscle fibres and the relative area occupied by fast-twitch muscle fibres.

Abstract
The emulsifying mechanism of supramolecular stereoisomeric sugar fatty acyl molecular gelators was evaluated. In-house-synthesized mannitol dioctanoate (M8) and sorbitol dioctanoate (S8) were tested. The stereoisomeric difference between the sugar groups significantly affected the gelation and emulsifying properties of the gelators. M8 and S8 formed oleogels at 2 and 3.5% (w/v) and emulsified water up to 30 and 60% (v/v), respectively. Microscopy showed that the gelator fibers are at the W/O interfaces, demonstrating a solid particle or network mode of stabilization. The long fibers of M8 were unable to completely encompass the water droplets, resulting in poor emulsification. Small, hair-like fibers of S8 showed better emulsification. When sunflower wax (SFW, 1% w/v) was added as a coemulsifier, synergetic action between the wax and S8 improved the stability of emulsions. Such synergy was not seen between SFW and M8, henceforth emulsion stability was not improved. This study proved that a subtle stereoisomeric difference at the molecular level can greatly alter the supramolecular and emulsifying properties of sugar-fatty acyl compounds.

This shift necessitates a parallel focus on the development of energy storage materials capable of supporting intermittent renewable energy sources. While lithium-ion batteries, featuring inorganic electrode materials, exhibit desirable electrochemical characteristics for energy storage and transport, concerns about the toxicity and ethical implications associated with mining transition metals in their electrodes have prompted a search for environmentally safe alternatives. Organic electrodes have emerged as promising and sustainable alternatives for batteries. This review paper will delve into the recent advancements in nature-inspired electrode design aimed at addressing critical challenges such as capacity degradation due to dissolution, low operating voltages, and the intricate molecular-level processes governing macroscopic electrochemical properties.

Abstract
Previous studies have reported that TT genotype carriers of the adenosine A2a receptor (ADORA2A) gene rs5751876 polymorphism have better ergogenic and anti-inflammatory responses to caffeine intake compared to C allele carriers. The aim of the present study was twofold: (1) to investigate the association of the ADORA2A rs5751876 polymorphism with acute caffeine supplementation on hormonal (growth hormone and testosterone) response to resistance exercise (RE); (2) to examine the relationship between the rs5751876 polymorphism and the resting levels of growth hormone and testosterone in athletes who are light caffeine consumers. A double-blind, crossover, placebo-controlled study involving 30 resistance-trained men (age 21.7 ± 4.1) was conducted to assess the impact of caffeine supplementation on serum growth hormone (GH) and testosterone (TS) levels before, immediately after, and 15 min post-RE. One hour before engaging in resistance exercise, subjects were randomly administered 6 mg of caffeine per kg of body mass or a placebo (maltodextrin). After a 7-day washout period, the same protocol was repeated. Resting testosterone and growth hormone levels were examined in the sera of 94 elite athletes (31 females, age 21.4 ± 2.8; 63 males, age 22.9 ± 3.8). Caffeine consumption led to significantly greater increases in GH and TS in men with the TT genotype compared to C allele carriers. Furthermore, in the group of athletes, carriers of the TT genotype had significantly higher testosterone (p = 0.0125) and growth hormone (p = 0.0365) levels compared to C allele carriers. In conclusion, the ADORA2A gene rs5751876 polymorphism may modify the effect of caffeine intake on the hormonal response to exercise.

Abstract
As people age, they tend to spend more time indoors, and the colours in their surroundings may significantly impact their mood and overall well-being. However, there is a lack of empirical evidence to provide informed guidance on colour choices, irrespective of age group. To work towards informed choices, we investigated whether the associations between colours and emotions observed in younger individuals also apply to older adults. We recruited 7393 participants, aged between 16 and 88 years and coming from 31 countries. Each participant associated 12 colour terms with 20 emotion concepts and rated the intensity of each associated emotion. Different age groups exhibited highly similar patterns of colour-emotion associations (average similarity coefficient of .97), with subtle yet meaningful age-related differences. Adolescents associated the greatest number but the least positively biased emotions with colours. Older participants associated a smaller number but more intense and more positive emotions with all colour terms, displaying a positivity effect. Age also predicted arousal and power biases, varying by colour. Findings suggest parallels in colour-emotion associations between younger and older adults, with subtle but significant age-related variations. Future studies should next assess whether colour-emotion associations reflect what people actually feel when exposed to colour.

Abstract
Physical activity and athletic performance are complex phenotypes influenced by environmental and genetic factors. Recent advances in lifestyle and behavioral genomics led to the discovery of dozens of DNA polymorphisms (variants) associated with physical activity and allowed to use them as genetic instruments in Mendelian randomization studies for identifying the causal links between physical activity and health outcomes. On the other hand, exercise and sports genomics studies are focused on the search for genetic variants associated with athlete status, sports injuries and individual responses to training and supplement use. In this review, the findings of studies investigating genetic markers and their associations with physical activity and athlete status are reported. As of the end of September 2023, a total of 149 variants have been associated with various physical activity traits (of which 42 variants are genome-wide significant) and 253 variants have been linked to athlete status (115 endurance-related, 96 power-related, and 42 strength-related).

Abstract
Water splitting provides an environmental-friendly and sustainable approach for generating hydrogen fuel. The inherent energetic barrier in two-core half reactions such as the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER) and Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) leads to undesired increased overpotential and constrained reaction kinetics. These challenges pose significant challenges that demand innovative solutions to overcome. One of the efficient ways to address this issue is tailoring the morphology and crystal structure of metal-organic frameworks (MOF). Nickel Zeolite Imidazolate Framework (Ni-ZIF) is a popular MOF and it can be tailored using facile chemical methods to unleash a remarkable bifunctional electro/photo catalyst. This innovative solution holds the capability to address prevailing obstacles such as inadequate electrical conductivity and limited access to active metal centers due to the influence of organic ligands. Thereby, applying boronization to the Ni-ZIF under different duration, one can induce blooming of nanobuds under room temperature and modify oxygen vacancies in order to achieve higher reaction kinetics in electro/photo catalysis. It can be evidenced by the 24-h boronized Ni-ZIF (BNZ), exhibiting lower overpotentials as electrocatalyst (OER-396 mV & HER-174 mV @ 20 mA/cm2) in 1 M KOH electrolyte and augmented gas evolution rates when employed as a photocatalyst (Hydrogen-14.37 μmol g-1min-1 & Oxygen-7.40 μmol g-1min-1). The 24-h boronization is identified as the optimum stage of crystalline to amorphous transformation which provided crystalline/amorphous boundaries as portrayed by X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and High Resolution-Transmission Electron Microscopy (HR-TEM) analysis. The flower-like transformation of 24-BNZ, characterized by crystalline-amorphous boundaries initiates with partial disruption of Ni-N bonds and formation of Ni-B bonds as evident from X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). Further, the 24-h BNZ exhibit bifunctional catalytic activities with pre-longed stability. Overall, this work presents a comprehensive study of the electrocatalytic and photocatalytic water splitting properties of the tailored Ni-ZIF material.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Studies evaluating the economic burden of dermatological care in the transplant setting are currently not available in Australia. AIMS To evaluate the clinical and economic burden of benign and malignant skin lesions in renal transplant recipients in Central Queensland. METHODS A bottom-up approach was used to determine the clinical burden and direct costs from patient-level Medicare data obtained from Service Australia for skin lesions. RESULTS Seventy-six percent of the renal transplant population in Central Queensland participated in this study. The median age was 57.0 years (standard deviation ± 13.6) and the majority (61.8%) of participants were men. The mean duration after transplant surgery was 99.9 months (interquartile range, 73.2-126.6 months). During a 2-year follow-up, 22 (40%) patients were diagnosed with benign skin lesions, 21 (38%) with nonmelanoma skin carcinoma (NMSC) and one (2%) with melanoma. There was a total of 231 visits to clinicians for diagnostic and therapeutic skin procedures and the direct costs to Medicare was $48 806 Australian Dollars (AUD) or $30 427 US Dollars (USD). Approximately 86% of the total direct costs was spent for nonNMSC and mean direct costs for NMSC was $763 AUD (or $476 USD). CONCLUSION This Medicare data-based study provides further insight into the burgeoning clinical and economic burden of the care for benign and malignant skin lesions in the renal transplantation setting in Australia.

Abstract
PURPOSE Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) is the initial line of management in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but survivals in the real world are not known. MATERIALS AND METHODS A retrospective study of patients with advanced HCC receiving ICIs (as first-line therapy or as later lines of therapy) across 11 Indian institutions was conducted. Patients were divided into either cohort 1 (trial-like receiving ICI as first-line therapy), with a Child Pugh score (CTP) of ≤6, an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (ECOG PS) of 0/1, and no VP4 (main portal vein thrombosis [MPVT]) or cohort 2 (trial unlike) who did not satisfy at least one of the above criteria. The primary end point was 12-month overall survival (OS). RESULTS Between January 2017 and January 2022, 133 patient data were analyzed. The presence of MPVT was seen in 33 patients (25%). The ICIs used were atezolizumab-bevacizumab, nivolumab, and pembrolizumab in 89 (66%), 44 (33%), and one (1%) patients, respectively. With a median follow-up of 13.8 months, the 12-month OS for the entire cohort was 33.4% (95% CI, 23.6 to 43.2). Patients in cohort 1 (n = 31) had a significantly improved OS compared with patients in cohort 2 (n = 102; 12-month OS, 57.9% [95% CI, 38.5 to 77.3] v 24% [95% CI, 13.4 to 34.6]; P = .005). Patients with CTP A as compared with CTP B (9.7 v 4.3 months; P < .001) and an ECOG PS of 0/1 as compared with a PS of ≥2 (8.7 v 7.2 months; P = .04) and without MPVT (9.4 v 4.0; P < .001) had superior survivals. CONCLUSION Patients with advanced HCC in the real world, trial-like have survivals in consonance with trial data, whereas patients with features excluding them from trials, such as main portal vein thrombosis, poor ECOG PS, and child Pugh B status, have markedly inferior survivals, despite good tolerance to immunotherapy.

Abstract
The quest for novel vegetable oil structuring strategies has been progressing since the discovery of the deleterious impacts of trans fats. Although oleogelation using bioderived molecular gelators has been proven to be successful as an alternative to traditional hydrogenation methods, efforts are needed to meet the industrial requirements. A major constraint during the fabrication of oleogels is to achieve consistency in physical properties during scale-up. Experiments showed that gelation fails to occur when larger volumes were prepared based on the minimum gelation concentration (MGC) of gelators, determined using the smallest oil volume (1 mL), a general laboratory practice. This observation was consistent with all the molecular gelators used in this study; sorbitol dioctanoate, mannitol dioctanoate, and 12-hydroxystearic acid. To understand this behavior, a mathematical model was developed since gelator network propagation is governed by the cooling rate. The model indicates that maintenance of a minimal thermal gradient via uniform heat dissipation and gelation time is necessary to achieve homogeneous gel propagation across the vial. With these predictions, we hypothesized and confirmed that oleogels with constant surface area-to-volume ratio could result in identical gelation times and consistent physical properties (MGC, melting temperature, melting enthalpy, yield stress, solid phase content, and oil binding capacity) during scale-up.

Abstract
Trehalose has been used as an emollient and antioxidant in cosmetics. However, we aimed to explore trehalose amphiphiles as oil structuring agents for the preparation of gel-based lip balms as part of wax-free cosmetics. This article describes the synthesis of trehalose fatty acyl amphiphiles and their corresponding oleogel-based lip balms. Trehalose dialkanoates were synthesized by esterifying the two primary hydroxyls of trehalose with fatty acids (C4-C12) using a facile, regioselective lipase catalysis. The gelation potential of as-synthesized amphiphiles was evaluated in organic solvents and vegetable oils. Stable oleogels were subjected to X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermal (DSC), and rheological studies and further used for the preparation of lip balms. Trehalose dioctanoate (Tr8), trehalose didecanoate (Tr10) were found to be super gelators as their minimum gelation concentration is ≤ 0.2 wt%. XRD studies revealed their hexagonal columnar molecular packing while forming the fibrillar networks. Rheometry proved that the fatty acyl chain length of amphiphiles can influence the strength and flow properties of oleogels. Further rheometry (at 25 °C, 37 °C, and 50 °C) and DSC studies have validated that Tr8- and Tr10-based oleogels are stable for commercial applications. Tr8- and Tr10-based olive oil oleogels were used for the preparation of lip balms. The preliminary results suggested that the cumulative effect of trehalose's emolliency and vegetable oil gelling nature can be achieved with trehalose amphiphiles, specifically, Tr8 and Tr10. This study has also demonstrated that Tr8- and Tr10-based lip balms can be used as an alternative to beeswax and plant wax lip balms, indicating their huge potential to succeed as a new paradigm to formulate wax-free cosmetics.

Abstract
Post-Obstructive Diuresis (POD) is a polyuria that occurs following the release of an obstruction from the urinary tract that prevents the flow of urine. POD requires prompt diagnosis to avoid complications. Although its pathophysiology is better understood, there is little scientific evidence for its treatment. Restoration of renal homeostasis requires correction of blood volume and electrolyte disturbances to prevent complications, which can be serious. In this article, we propose a synthesis of knowledge on the subject, as well as a management strategy.

Abstract
Sucralose differs from sucrose only by virtue of having three Cl groups instead of OH groups. Its intriguing features include being noncaloric, noncariogenic, ∼600 times sweeter than sucrose, stable at high temperatures/acidic pH's, and void of disagreeable aftertastes. These properties are attractive as food additive, one of which is as hydrogel obtainable via the technique of molecular gelation using a sucralose-derived low-molecular weight gelator (LMWG). Such hydrogels are highly responsive to external stimuli like temperature, because the LMWGs self-assemble via non-covalent interactions and could thus be utilized in applications like control-release. We found that sucralose to be unreactive under lipase biocatalysis, unlike sucrose. Hence, the aim of this work was (i) to use computational simulations to further understand sucralose's lack of enzymatic reactivity and (ii) to synthesize the sucralose-based amphiphiles using conventional chemical synthesis and systematically study their tendency towards hydrogelation. Sucrose and sucralose were docked with a high-resolution atomic structure of lipase B from Candida antarctica, modeling the esterification transition state with an active site serine. In extended molecular dynamics simulations, sucrose remained in the active site due to multiple sugar-protein hydrogen bonds. The oxygen-to-chlorine substitutions in sucralose disrupted this hydrogen bonding network. Consistent with observed lack of enzymatic conversion, in multiple simulations, sucralose would rapidly dissociate from the active site. The sucralose-based LMWGs were subsequently synthesized using base-catalyzed conventional chemical synthesis. Three of the sucralose-based amphiphiles (SL-5, SL-6 and SL-7) proved to be successful hydrogelators. The gelators also showed the ability to gel selected beverages. The LMWGs gelled quantities of water and beverage up to 71 and 55 times their weight, respectively, and remain thermally stable up to 144 °C.

Abstract
The protection of terrestrial plants from desiccation, mechanical injury, and pathogenic invasion is achieved by waxes and cutin polyesters on leaf and fruit surfaces as well as suberin polymers that are embedded in the cell walls of roots, but the physicochemical principles governing the organization of these biological composites remain incompletely understood. Despite the well-established enzymatic mediation of suberin formation in the skins of potato tubers, cork oak trees, and internal plant tissues, the additional possibility of self-assembly in this system was suggested by our serendipitous finding that solvent extracts from potato phellem tissues form suspended fibers and needles in the absence of such catalysts over a period of several weeks. In the current study, we investigated self-assembly for three-component model chemical mixtures comprised of a hydroxyfatty acid, glycerol, and either of two hydroxycinnamic acids that together typify the building blocks of potato suberin biopolymers. We demonstrate that these mixtures spontaneously form lamellar structures that are reminiscent of suberized plant tissues, incorporate all constituents into self-assemblies, can form covalently bound ester structures, and display antibacterial activity. These findings provide new perspectives on the self-association and reactivity of these classes of organic compounds, insights into agriculturally important suberin formation in food crops, and a starting point for engineering sustainable materials with antimicrobial capabilities.

BACKGROUND
Exercise rehabilitation after heart transplant is of major importance in order to improve physical capacity and prognosis.High-intensity interval training (HIIT) has repeatedly proven to be a highly efficient form of exercise for improving the physical capacity of both normal subjects and patients with coronary artery diseases (CAD) and heart failure. In contrast to the chronotropic response of a normal heart to exercise, a newly transplanted heart is denervated, which causes higher resting heart rate (HR) and reduced heart response (chronotropic incompetence). The HR response during exercise is mainly controlled by catecholamine’s from the adrenal glands, resulting in a significantly slower increase of the HR at onset of exercise, a reduced peak HR, and a delayed return towards resting values after cessation of exercise. A study conducted in 2013 concluded that high-intensity, aerobic training, especially interval-based training, is a favourable type of exercise that yields improvements in both peripheral and central factors.The review was conducted to determine the effect of HIIT on heart transplant patients.I
PURPOSE
Heart transplant patients have benefitted from aerobic exercises, but the protocol is mostly focussed on moderate intensity exercises. Chronotropic incompetence and safety have been two issues while considering high intensity exercises in heart transplant patients.HIIT has been proved to be effective in coronary artery disease and heart failure patients.
METHODOLOGY
Criteria for considering these studies for the review
PRISMA guidelines of systematic review used. Physiotherapy Evidence Database scale used for assessing risk of bias. GRADE System of evaluation used for data extraction and quality assessment. "Mesh" terms used to search the article. Various databases like PubMed, Scopus, Google scholar, Cochrane screened. Inclusion and exclusion criteria stated. Studies done between 2010-2020 taken.Out of all the studies screened, which 3 studies fulfilled the full text eligibility and were included in the systematic review.
RESULTS
The heart transplant patients demonstrated a great improvement in VO2 peak, anaerobic threshold, peak expiratory flow, extensor muscle capacity, general health, systolic blood pressure and endothelial function post HIIT. One of the screened studies compared HIIT with moderate intensity exercises in heart transplant patients and found out that patients receiving HIIT demonstrated better improvement that moderate intensity exercises.The studies also emphasised that long term and community based HIIT is effective in improving the overall quality of life of the patients.
CONCLUSION

Abstract
Polaritons in organic systems has shown the potential to modify chemical properties and to mediate long-range energy transfer between individual chromophores, among other capabilities. Here, we demonstrate that strong coupling and formation of organic exciton-polaritons can be used to selectively tune the isomer emission of organic molecules. By taking advantage of their delocalized and hybrid character, polaritons emerging in the strong coupling regime open a new relaxation pathway that allows for an efficient funneling of the excitation between the molecular isomers. We implement this by strong coupling to trans-DCS (E-4-dimethylamino-4′cyanostilbene)molecules, which present two isomers in different amounts when immersed in a polymer matrix. Thanks to this new relaxation pathway, the photoexcitation that is first shared by the common polaritonic mode is then selectively funneled to the excited states of one of the isomers, recognizing pure emission from the isomeric states that do not contribute to emission under normal conditions.

Abstract
In this retrospective analysis of 36 patients with recurrent ovarian cancer (ROC) treated with platinum pemetrexed doublet ± bevacizumab, the median age was 54.5 years (47-60) and 33 (91.7%) had serous histology. The overall response rate [ORR = complete (CR)+partial (PR) response] was 83.3%. At a median follow-up of 16 months, the median PFS was 13.8 months (95% CI: 10.849-20.580) and median OS 30.6 months, (95% CI: 21.46 months-NR). The incidence of Grade 3/4 anemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia and non-hematological toxicity was 19.4%, 3.9%, 16.6%, and 8.3%. Platinum pemetrexed chemotherapy in ROC is safe and effective treatment option.

Abstract
Phase-selective gelation refers to the selective gelation of one phase in an immiscible mixture. Thus far, all such examples have involved a molecular gelator forming nanofibers in (and thus gelling) the oil phase in an oil/water mixture. Here, for the first time, we report the counterpart to the above phenomenon, i.e., selective gelation of the water phase in an oil/water mixture (while leaving the oil undisturbed). This has been a challenging problem because moieties that gel water tend to be either amphiphilic or oil-soluble; thus, if combined with an oil/water mixture, they invariably form an emulsion. Our approach solves this problem by exploiting the tunable self-assembly of laponite (LAP) nanoparticles. Initially, LAP nanoparticles (25 nm disks) are dispersed in water, where they remain unaggregated due to the steric stabilization provided by a triblock copolymer (Pluronic P123) adsorbed on their surface. Thus, the dispersion is initially a low-viscosity sol. When an immiscible oil such as hexadecane is introduced above the sol, the mixture remains biphasic, and both phases remain unaffected. Next, an organic acid such as butanoic acid (BA) is added to the oil. The BA is oil-soluble but also has limited solubility in the water. Over about 30 min, some of the BA enters the water, whereupon it "activates" the self-assembly of LAP particles into a three-dimensional "house-of-cards" network. Ultimately, the water phase is converted into a homogeneous gel with a sufficient yield stress: the aqueous gel holds its weight in the inverted vial while the oil phase remains a thin liquid that can be poured out of the vial. On the whole, the concept advanced here is about activating nanoparticle assembly in water through an adjacent, immiscible phase. This concept could prove useful in conducting certain separations or reactions in the laboratory as well as in enhanced oil recovery.

Abstract
The activation of the programmed cell death one (PD1)/PD1 ligand (PD-L1) immune checkpoint pathway is a mechanism of immune evasion characterized by the upregulation of PD-L1 expression by tumor cells and by the tumor microenvironment. This activation leads to the inhibition of PD1-positive T cells and to a decrease in the anti-tumor immune response. Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is an aggressive type of large B-cell lymphoma with limited studies on the frequency of PD1 and PD-L1 expressions and their clinical impact. As PBL is associated with immune suppression in immunocompromised individuals, we hypothesize that the PD1/PD-L1 axis may be relevant in this type of lymphoma. Our study demonstrates a subset of PBL cases with a higher PD-L1 expression by tumor cells [nPD-L1high, in 4 of 21 (19%) cases] and by tumor microenvironment [macrophages/stromal cells, sPD-L1high, in 9 of 21 (43%) cases]. While nPD-L1 expression showed no significant correlation with PD1 expression on tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, or other clinicopathological parameters, it positively correlated with sPD-L1 expression. Moreover, patients with nPD-L1high had a tendency towards a shorter overall survival (median 9.3 vs. 25.5 months in nPD-L1low patients). In conclusion, our study provides a rationale to identify, by immunohistochemistry, a subset of nPD-L1high patients who may benefit from clinical trials of PD1/PD-L1 checkpoint blockade. Further studies on large cohorts are needed to investigate prognostic and predictive biomarkers for the PD1/PD-L1 pathway in PBL patients.

Abstract
Lithium batteries that could be charged on exposure to sunlight will bring exciting new energy storage technologies. Here, we report a photorechargeable lithium battery employing nature-derived organic molecules as a photoactive and lithium storage electrode material. By absorbing sunlight of a desired frequency, lithiated tetrakislawsone electrodes generate electron-hole pairs. The holes oxidize the lithiated tetrakislawsone to tetrakislawsone while the generated electrons flow from the tetrakislawsone cathode to the Li metal anode. During electrochemical operation, the observed rise in charging current, specific capacity, and Coulombic efficiency under light irradiation in contrast to the absence of light indicates that the quinone-based organic electrode is acting as both photoactive and lithium storage material. Careful selection of electrode materials with optimal bandgap to absorb the intended frequency of sunlight and functional groups to accept Li-ions reversibly is a key to the progress of solar rechargeable batteries.
